My sign up has been posted. I left it vague as to who Harrison's parents are, but if you and I make the cut Gavin, you can always claim the brat as your own. He can drive you nuts with his refusal to take up a more fitting occupation for a member of the Almagest family. :p Anyway, even before you commented on the age thing Sandy, I figured you needed a brat who always gets himself into trouble. Name: Harrison Almagest (prefers to be called Harry) Age: 14 Your Position inside the Almagest family: Leonheart Almagest is Harrison's uncle. Your Portrait: Harrison Your occupation: Harrison's only occupation is school and learning about Weaponsmithing since it is his intent to join the Royal Police Guard when he gets older. Your Story:
Harrison is a headstrong and stubborn youth who has spent most of his time daydreaming about becoming renowned with his skill at fighting. He is quite the brat about skipping classes in favor of lessons of any kind on how to use different weapons. From creating them to fighting with them, he spends all of his time in this endeavor. As well as reading any and all books he can get his hands on that relate to law and the rules and regulations that all members of the Royal Police Guard are required to know. Though Harrison does have a knack for learning things quickly, he is often getting into trouble as he will butt into situations that are way over his head. He has yet to learn to discern between being truly brave instead of being reckless as he lacks the experience to realize when a situation is beyond his current capabilities. Harrison has been fortunate that many of the true Royal Police Guard know him on sight and often keep an eye on him when he is out and about, often extracting him from the messes he gets into. Harrison is currently at odds with the Almagest family with his fifteenth birthday approaching as he does not want to attend Czenoble High Academy of Sciences but the Academy for those who are training to become members of the Royal Police Guard. He has argued extensively with those who make the decision for him and as a result is often absent from dinner or other social obligations in protest of their decision to send him to CHAOS instead of the Academy he wishes to attend. Given a choice Harrison would leave his connection to the Almagest family behind to pursue his dream. He cares little for what is expected of him and he feels that he should have the right to choose what he does with his life instead of doing what someone else expects of him.

"Only four souls remain, other than that child who does not represent any of us." Jachym smiled. "That means that one of you is out of the game unless you have managed to find a way to stay in." Jachym laughed out loud when not one of them said a word nor did they return his look when he looked at each of them in turn. Other than Paraxis, but then the situation was different for him. "No matter," Jachym spoke again. "I know which one of you is desperately clinging to the game. Rest assured, when you make your move, so will I." Then to the surprise of the other Gods, Jachym vanished. Charlotte didn't know what to think anymore, when she had first come to this place, she had perhaps thought that she was being given a second chance. She clearly remembered dying, weeping for her child that at the time she had thought would never live to see the light of day. But now, part of her wished she had not been brought here. So many dead, her child still missing and in the hands of a mad woman. She was dully walking back the way she had come with Naomi when out of nowhere she was caught up in an ocean breeze. Before she could even wonder where it had come from, she found herself underwater and yet not truly touching the water. I must be dead, she thought as she saw all sorts of tropical sea life swimming around her, for how else could she be where she was and yet able to breathe. A moment later she realized she was standing on a bed of seashells and that someone was approaching. The water was crystal clear and she could easily see that the one approaching was an older bearded man, dressed in but a simple kilt with seaweed carefully woven in his hair in the shape of a crown. He was carrying a golden trident easily taller than himself, but what struck her as most surprising was the ageless feel to him even though he looked older than her father and his penetrating sea green eyes pinned her in place. "Who are you? Am I dead?" Charlotte finally managed to stammer out once he had come to a halt only a few feet from her. "I am Jachym though you would know me by Poseidon or Neptune. I am the God of the Sea." Jachym tilted his head to the right a bit. "And yes you are dead. You were brought to the Ragnarok to serve as a champion to one of the Gods. In the mortal realm you died, as you mortals understand it in the year 1789. But it is now 2007 and long past the time when you once lived." Charlotte was stunned, 2007? How could that be? She had been dead for over two centuries? For the briefest of moments she felt dizzy as if she was going to faint but then Jachym reached out and touched her on the chest and she was filled with a rush of strength. "What did you just do?" She asked, still feeling as if she were in nothing more than a dream. "I have bestowed a part of my power on you, the power to control water." "Does that mean I am your champion?" Charlotte wondered. Jachym laughed. "Perhaps you are, perhaps you are not. I give it to who I see fit, Naomi held it before she died, and another before her." "Then why? Why give it to me? I don't understand." "Then it's time you did understand." Jachym traced a path in the water to the side, forming a circle. A moment later people could been seen inside the circle as if looking through a window, people that Charlotte recognized. "So you're certain that only one of us can make it out of here alive?" Jeanne was saying. Marta nodded as she rocked back and forth slightly while she held Kenneth. "That's the only thing that makes sense. Unlike you and I, Patrick, Charlotte and baby Kenneth are already dead. They were brought here after they died. So the only ones here who are truly alive are you and me." "This is terrible," Jeanne finally said. "I mean why would someone bring us here only to kill us? What kind of sick game is going on here?" "Are you not familiar with mythology Jeanne? The Ragnarok is the final battle between the Gods, if that is where we are then somehow we have ended up being used by them to finish their fight." Marta sighed. "I am already guilty of murder, more than once, and though Patrick here and Charlotte and Kenneth are innocent, they are already dead." "What are you trying to say Marta?" Jeanne finally asked her, ignoring Patrick who was moaning a bit in his sleep. "I'm saying that in the end, no matter what we do, only one of us will make it out alive, the Gods will see to that. Naomi was not familiar with what The Ragnarok is but when she told me what the Goddess Celesta told her, I knew." Marta looked away. "I want to be the one to live and yet I also feel that I don't have the right to be the one to live." She looked back and Jeanne. "And yet another part of me feels that what right do those who have already died have? As cruel as it sounds, they already lived their lives." "That's not fair Marta," Jeanne pointed out. "The baby is innocent." "Since when has innocence ever mattered? Kids die Jeanne, people die, don't you get it? They are already dead!" Charlotte didn't realize that tears were running down her face until the circle showing her the others faded and then became the crystal clear water once more. "Is it true? That only one may leave alive?" She cried. "You'll have to find that out for yourself Charlotte." Jachym told her. "Whether or not it's true doesn't matter, what does is that they believe it." "That's not fair!" She objected. "Life is never fair." Jachym's voice whispered as the water vanished and Charlotte found herself back where she had been. "You of all people should know that Charlotte." And then the feeling of his presence was gone, leaving Charlotte all alone to cry over the knowledge that even if she found Kenneth, only one of them could live. And if what she had seen was true, the others already considered her and her baby dead. When the time came, they would not hesitate to slay her and Kenneth.

Since when have I become responsible for Shy's decisions, Crystia? Honestly...
You haven't. :p I'm just sad I didn't get to put my twist to what Shy did in motion. So I found it irritating since I was looking forward to it. As for the zap... that's just for fun. Also, I'm long since over being annoyed and I'll be back with a post later on.

Don't worry Beth, I'm sure if Sandy gets too energetic, we could just call a vet and have him neutered. :p
No need for that, I like them feisty! I just hope my owner doesn't object to me having my own slave. lol
Here you go Crystia, take good care of him.
Also, thank you very much. I love presents. ;)

I edited my post, so everyone can carry on as if nothing happened. -Shy
So you did and I have only one thing to say... boring... I'll come back to this later since this disagreement totally blew what I was planning on doing out of the water and I'm in no mood to think of something new. Because like Shy, I too was getting a bit bored with the game and I had a fantastic post in mind and now it's useless. Something I find extremely irritating at the moment. *zaps Sandy*
-
Though I can see why you would object Sandy... the only thing I don't care for is the idea that the power cards would not work in the real world. And what's so bad about this plot twist? I thought the idea was for the souls to attempt to rebel against the Gods. Also, who says they have to be in the real world? Aaryanna's God could have attempted to put them there and failed, or someone else, which would have been me since I had an idea I was too tired to put into motion last night, could have interfered. I was going to have Jachym totally mess up what Shy's god and Aaryanna's god were trying to do. After all, he would have an interest in not letting things slide like that. And what I was going to do was make it so they didn't leave the Ragnarok. lol Now I'm wishing I hadn't been too tired to post last night.

Perhaps you could clear one thing up for me and that is where Astera is now since Adrian sent her to be with the little vampire girl. :p -
I am completely straight, much to the disappointment of many of my guy friends who think two women doing each other is hot. I don't have to name anyone, since the few I know here who think this as well know who they are. :p Seriously though, other than to notice that a girl is pretty there isn't anything else to it. lol Where if a guy is pretty good looking, that can and does lead to other thoughts as well as actions if we get along well enough. I most definitely like the guys.

Jared was watching the progress of the troops taking over the base where the three representatives were when the head piece he was wearing gave off a tiny chime indicating he had an incoming transmission. He reached up and touched the receiving indicator to accept it. "Sir, we've finished securing all of the military bases and processing facilities here." "And the Commander of the forces there?" Jared inquired. "My men are bringing him here even as we speak sir. Should I have him transported directly to a cell on the Creator?" Jared smiled. "No, hold him at your current position, I will be there to pick him up myself. Scorer out." He tapped the ear piece again, cutting the transmission and then after glancing briefly at the progress again to see that Sub-Commander Drace would have the representatives within a short time he left the observation room on the Creator and then after nodding briefly to both Sandra and Crystal he left the bridge to head for the nearest transport room. Now that the battle was for all intents and purposes over, there was no reason why he couldn't transport directly to the world in question. There was no longer a need to maintain a tight anti transport shield on the Creator as troops were already been transported down to support Sub-Commander Drace's current operation. Nor did he need to wait for them to be finished either, since Sandra would be handling any issue that came up in regards to that particular detail. Jared gave the coordinates to the transport technician and waited patiently while he opened up a door where the commander of the troops was located on the slave world responsible for growing and manufacturing the plants essential for key medical treatments and the more lethal explosives that they used. It was a good thing he was in charge of this part of the operation. And he couldn't help but snicker a bit as he stepped through the door and immediately headed towards the main temporary headquarters of the troops who had seized the world. There was very little in the way of activity as the fighting was clearly over. The wounded were being attended to and prepped for being sent back to their respective ships. Those who had surrendered were also being dealt with as well. It was far too quiet or rather a clear indication that the newest Sub-Commander Drace was not a part of this operation. "He may be good in battle," Jared said softly to himself as he entered the temporary Command Center. "But that fool would have leveled the place instead of realizing how important the resources here really are." It was not his decision though and even if he felt otherwise, he would have no issues working with Drace, for now that is. So long as he didn't give him a reason to put him in his place. Jared turned his attention back to where he was as he came within view of the commander. "Sir!" He saluted Jared briskly before continuing. "All resistance has been dealt with and we're currently seeing to the wounded and replacing the command structure for the military bases here." "What of the regular troops?" Jared pulled out his hand held computer to check a detail. "There should be at least three hundred thousand regular troops." "Yes sir, those that remain have been rounded up to be dealt with as well." The commander was interrupted by the sound of someone attempting to order those who were forcing him along to release him, making quite a fuss. Jared turned and then smiled when four soldiers dragging the former Commander of the military on that world into the room where he was located entered. The tall blonde Versilan was a little roughed up as he was sporting bruises along the right side of his face and his uniform was dirty and torn. Probably from struggling against being bound in the first place. But the moment his eyes met Jared's the struggling stopped and he stood rigidly, glaring at Jared in defiance. "Well, well, if it isn't Commander Scorer." He spat in Jared's direction. "Why the High Council ever allowed you to be promoted is beyond me." Jared just laughed. "Oh I'm afraid that won't work Commander Chevast. Unlike Sub-Commander Drace, I'm not so easily goaded into killing you for disrespect." He walked over, smiling even more at Chevast's barely concealed look of panic as he approached. Jared stopped when he was less than a foot away. "No rest assured, I'll get every last little bit of information you've got since you turned traitor." Jared reached up and ran his fingers through his blonde hair, smiling over how Chevast attempted to pull away, a look of disgust mingled with fear on his face. Jared let go with a laugh and then activated his communication headset to contact the head of the prison block on the Creator. "This is Jared, I have an incoming prisoner for level one detention for you." "Understood sir. Do you want a transport door at your current location?" "Yes." Jared waited a moment and then smiled when a few seconds later a door opened within a few feet of his position. "Do be sure to think about just how much fun you wish to have while you wait for me to get around to debriefing you Chevast." Jared nodded to the men holding him and then watched as they first removed his restraints and then shoved him through the door which promptly closed behind him. Jared turned back to face the commander of the troops. "Now lets go over getting things back to normal here." He walked over to the makeshift table that was set up with all the information as to the facilities, troops and other aspects of how the New Alliance had been running things. It shouldn't take too long to set things back up to be under Versilan rule as it should be.

Clueless about what Rach?
Well there's my name for starters... :p Crystia, not Rach. But I was referring to you advising someone that there is no ratings and that they can swear when it's actually up to the creator of the rpg as to whether or not one can swear. The ratings may not be visibly tagged, but they still exist. So no free license to simply swear all you want. Why else would Neuvoxraiha even bother to ask? lol
I really can't define a rating at this point, I need to talk about it with my partner-in-game Shy and see how the sign-ups turn out. But on my behalf there can be swearing, yes. Just remember that part of Steampunk is maintaining Victorian manners and sophistication (we're playing a family of aristocrats, on top of that), so it should be more like "cor blimey!" than "fucking anal slut!". ;P Crystia: yes, I got Rach and Beth hooked up on this already, so of course you have to join as well! ;D
Personally, after Ragnarok, I'm a little burned out on mature content so even if allowed I probably won't use that much. And tasteless swearing just for the sake of swearing doesn't interest me either. But then you and certain others know how to use it to tell a story so I'm not really that worried over it either. Anyway, I'm more interested in finishing up the Ragnarok first so there's no overlapping or if there is, it's not much. But this would be a nice place to move to once that one wraps up.

Yes, that card needs to go, so once I get a death card I can put poor Jeanne out of her misery, also... madness for the win! Patrick has been too nice in this game and with that power by Illyria, well I can't have them turning sane anytime soon. lol That just wouldn't fit with the death card series. heh
-
Things changed so quickly, one moment it seemed that Illyria had the upper hand and then the next Raone. Though he would never say it out loud, Jachym could admire the cleverness in that move. First Raone countering Illyria's stance, then Celesta moving swiftly to cut off any reversals of the move. But perhaps most surprising was Treisleilai laughing as she messed with the Kaijin as her final move before being required to leave. But Jachym could sense that just like the ocean, there were still things hidden deep below, moves to be made that could still tip the balance of the game in unexpected directions. The slightest mistake now would ultimately be fatal, there were too few souls left to think otherwise. How could Cho be dead? It was something that Patrick couldn't seem to get out of his mind. Nor could he forget how Naomi had attacked the Kaijin, that poor innocent and beautiful creature. She had doomed them at that point, claiming it was the will of one of the Gods, but Patrick didn't believe her. The Kaijin would have never just let Cho die, or would it? Perhaps it had been jealous of her beauty. No, that couldn't be it. It was going to free them from this place, of that he had been positive. But it had needed the baby to do so. Why was something that Patrick did not understand but still, there was no getting around that he believed more in the Kaijin than he did any of the people he was with now. And what if it wasn't really dead? After all there had been no blood from when Naomi attacked it. The sounds of the others talking filtered back to Patrick who was merely trudging along, following them aimlessly. Damn them! He thought, getting angrier and angrier by the minute as they traveled along, taking things slowly since Naomi was apparently quiet tired from when she had attacked the Kaijin. Finally, after having traveled for a while, still stuck in the never ending run of room after room they stopped to rest and to give Charlotte time to tend to her baby. Something that just made him even angrier. No baby could possibly be more important than Cho was. And the longer they stayed where they were, the more angry he became. Even the few whispers about him simply being upset over Cho's death angered him. It was more than that! He had been looking forward to finally being freed of this damn place and being with Cho! It was then that a thought occurred to him, one that when it did, he could not shake it. Even though a tiny part of him thought it was absurd, the other kept whispering to him a song of what if? As the women started getting ready to leave and continue, something inside of Patrick snapped and before the others could even wonder what had happened, he grabbed Kenneth and ran, back towards where they had left the Kaijin. He ignored their cries to stop, easily outdistancing them. Driven by just one thought and one thought alone. And that was the possibility that if the Kaijin was not dead and really could free them if it had the baby, then it was also possible that Cho could be brought back as well. The madness of the thoughts did not occur to him. The safety of the baby did not occur to him. All Patrick could see was finding a way to reverse what had happened.

But it looks fucking awesome.
You're so clueless Gunslinger. It's painful to watch. I'd be curious to know that as well, though I'm sure the both of you already know I have no issues with mature content. :p Still, since I understand Beth and Rach plan on signing up playing as a couple, I would have to consider signing up just so I could poke fun at those two. If the price was right, what would you do?

I'd much rather do that than some of the 'gross' things mentioned. lol -

The Shield Card's effect is permanent, BUT it only protects from Death Cards. This is definitely going to get interesting. I'll have to come back later with a post so I can earn two more death points and see just what I get for that. So I can rock the boat even more. :p

I want to know what Aaryanna asked as well Sandy, if that card is permanent then there is no point in anyone else posting since it will be clear that only the owner of Charlotte can win. I'll be waiting on your answer before I post again.

Discuss Shinigami Dance: Playground of Deities
Horendithas replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
Just a quick plot point. Yes Adrian made dealing with the dragon look easy, but at the same time that's suppose to give an indication that dealing with the Count isn't going to be easy. Though I'm sure Alex can be thinking what the hell? :p -
Adrian was calculating just what would be required to deal with the monsters in the most timely and efficient manner. If Lucia had said they were tied to one another and had to be dispatched quickly, then he would do best to follow her advice. In all the time that he had known her, she had never been wrong about something like this. "It's alright Neviril." Aeru was saying behind them. "Your master is not angry with you." "How do you know that?" Neviril said tearfully. "Because it was our presence that triggered the trap, I'm sure of it. So stop crying okay?" Aeru reassured her. Adrian tuned them out, sickened by the conversation. Even if Aeru was correct, there was no point in socializing with vampires. They could not co-exist, it was that simple. He spared a brief glance in Nathan's direction but he was still watching everything carefully. It was a stance that Adrian recognized, for all that Nathan appeared relaxed and carefree, he was never simply standing there. He turned back to see that Lucia was far over to the left and Alex over to the right. With the illusion gone, it was a simple matter to tune into each other to know when to strike and where. And though Lucia and Alex probably didn't understand why Nathan seemed to be holding back, Adrian knew better. Nathan was simply waiting for the right moment. "I'm ready Adrian." Astera said calmly as he started to walk towards the center of the room. "No Astera, now is not the time. I need you to keep an eye on that little vampire girl instead." He replied, taking in her look of disappointment. "Okay," She looked to the side and sighed. "I understand." Astera took off and flew directly to Neviril. Adrian just smiled to himself once she was gone. Then he turned his attention to the monsters in front of them. The one that was going to be more difficult would be the undead dragon. It's massive size was not only misleading but dangerous as well. It's own flames were harmful, even to a Shinigami. He doubted that the others understood the danger, other than perhaps Nathan. "Leave the dragon to me and stay clear of it's flames." He told the others, even as he called forth the blue flames of purification, sending them down the blades of his scythes. He did not wait for the others to answer, instead he launched himself in the direction of the dragon, ducking to avoid the black flames it spewed in his direction. With a laugh he slammed his blades into the wraiths in his way, sending them flying. Then with yet another tiny push on the floor he pushed off again and came in under the dragon's head to slam the left blade into it's chin causing it's head to snap back while he slammed the right one into it's chest. Together the twin blows sent the dragon flying. With a devilish grin Adrian launched himself towards the dragon to strike again before it even landed. This time he caught it in the stomach with both blades, the horrible rasp of steel on bone echoing through the chamber as the force of the blow resulted in it being thrown into the wall with a crunch of bones cracking. Before it could even move an inch Adrian was on it again, this time sending his left blade deep into the skeleton dragon's skull, pinning it to the wall as the other blade severed it's head from the rest of its body. As the body of the dragon began to crumble to ashes, Adrian sent the flames of purification running though it's head, turning it to ash as well. Then with a smooth motion he pulled the scythes free and turned to see how the others were faring.

I'm in favor of keeping things as they are. The point thing is annoying at times, but only when it's the cancellation effect. But then I'm greedy, I don't like losing a point after earning it. :p If I were to change anything, I'd get rid of the that aspect. Beyond that I'm fine with how things are since I like being mean and leaving positive things out of my post. Though I've managed to mess up in that regards just the same. Heh.

“Why don’t you just admit defeat Treisleilai?” Jachym taunted. “Even if the others will say nothing, it is clear that your time is nearly up.” “Why don’t you go and drown yourself fool.” Treisleilai hissed at Jachym. “Even if I do not win, you can never remove sin from the world, just watching the souls is enough to see that.” “Oh just shut up you two!” Bellanna snapped. “Honestly, I’m ready to leave right this minute if it means I never have to hear the two of you bickering like a bunch of immature children ever again.” “I stand corrected,” Jachym mocked Bellanna. “And here I was thinking it was Treisleilai who was nearly done for, perhaps it is you instead.” Bellanna sighed. “I should have never agreed to this.” Jachym just watched as she stalked out of the room in the main temple, leaving them behind. And then he turned his attention back to Treisleilai who in his opinion, really was about to lose the game. The longer they traveled looking for water, the more Jeanne began to suspect that Naomi was up to no good, or that she was deceiving her on some level. But she couldn’t figure out just how she was doing so. She felt into her pockets to check and see just how much ammo she had, not even sure how she had ended up with the gun in the first place. Deep within the main pocket there was a small box, curious she pulled it out and took a look. It was full with the bullets that she needed. Waving at Naomi to stop, Jeanne took a moment to reload her gun. Then she stuffed the box back into her pocket and motioned for them to continue, but the longer they hunted without finding either the baby, or some water, the more Jeanne began to think that Naomi had lied to her from the very beginning. And the longer they continued, the more her desire to kill the baby grew, until she could think of little else, the desire to kill that abomination was so strong that it was almost making her sick. Jeanne came to a halt. “You’re lying to me.” She said softly as she turned to face Naomi and for just a brief flash she saw guilt in her eyes, guilt that was quickly hidden. “I knew it, you are lying to me.” Jeanne raised her gun and pointed it at Naomi. “Just what the hell are you trying to do here?” “I’m not lying!” Naomi protested. “The Kaijin really was sent her to protect Charlotte’s baby! We have to stop it!” Jeanne pulled the trigger, causing Naomi to jump even though she had missed on purpose. “Next time I won’t miss. Now tell me the truth.” Naomi took a step back and then froze when Jeanne readied the gun with a click, “I did tell you the truth. Please, I‘m not lying.” Disgusted, Jeanne shot her directly in her right shoulder, ignoring Naomi’s scream of pain as she dropped to her knees, clutching at her shoulder that had started to bleed. She walked forward and pointed the gun down, straight between Naomi's eyes. “I can tell that you are lying to me, either you tell me now or I’ll start putting more holes in you until either you talk or you’re dead.” Jeanne said coldly. Naomi looked past the barrel of the gun pointed right at her face, her vision blurred from the tears running down her face. But that didn’t obscure the pure look of hatred in Jeanne’s eyes. Gods, if I don’t tell her… she really will kill me. What was I thinking? I should have never given the gun back to her. Another shot rang out when Naomi didn’t answer her quickly enough, this time, hitting Naomi’s right arm, causing her to cry out in pain again as she tried to stem the blood flowing from the second wound. “Please,” Naomi begged as she struggled to stay on her knees instead of falling over. “I didn’t lie to you… But I didn’t tell you everything either.” She crumpled further, sitting on the floor, shaking with the effort to still the crying and from the waves of pain radiating from her shoulder and her arm where Jeanne had shot her. Jeanne was unmoved, “I suggest you tell me before I lose my patience and blow your head off.” Naomi struggled to breath, to ride through the pain, it was far worse than when she had healed Patrick. “I was told that the fate of the Gods was being decided and that the Kaijin was summoned to protect Charlotte’s child and that you were changed so you would want to kill the child.” She shivered violently as another wave of pain ran through her. Naomi took another deep breath. “The Goddess of Life, Celesta told me that we can’t trust the Kaijin and that unless we destroy it you won’t return to your normal self and that this place, the Ragnarok won’t end,” Naomi shook even harder, this time with fear that Jeanne would not believe her and kill her anyway. “I only know that the Kaijin is evil, I can sense it. But at the same time there is something about it that tricks you into thinking it means to help you. I thought if I got you away from it and we managed to destroy it, that it would fix things.” “Please,” Naomi begged her again. “That’s all I know.” She looked away, still clutching at her arm and wondering just what she was going to do since she didn’t know if the healing power would help her or not. Though if Jeanne did blow her head off, she doubted that it would matter at that point. “You should have told me that to begin with.” Jeanne finally said. “I’m not sure if I believe you or not.” Naomi looked back up at her, tears running down her face as she cried. “Please, it’s the truth. I won’t keep anything from you again, I promise.” Naomi shook even more as she fought to stay conscious, but then the pain and the loss of blood caught up with her and the last thing she remembered before she passed out was the cold look in Jeanne’s eyes.

Honestly, I couldn't even tell you the difference between HD and blue-ray. Anyone have an opinion about this?
My opinion is to simply wait and see just which one becomes more popular or rather more affordable. Until then, they can fight all they want since I really don't care one way or the other.

You know, there should be an initiation into otakuboards for new members. Like spending a full day in prvate message conversation with Gunslinger. Or forcing them to stare at this image for 5 minutes.
Actually an even better initiation would be to allow them to personally shock a member like you DEM. And ignore any AIM chats if they so desire. That would make them feel more at home instead of being new. :p Why do I now feel like I've been here forever? lol

I'm outta the way now.
Well I think we should poke Beth and make her post, that way she can get us going. Plus, she hasn't posted since we got started on this again. :p -

Dude, mine was copied out of a novel. WTF you think I typed that ****?
The real question here is if any of that actually describes you or not. If it does, who typed it originally doesn't really matter. Now as for myself, I'm pretty boring and laid back except for working hard at school to maintain my grades. I rarely get angry, but when I do, I'm not nice. Though I calm down quickly and it really takes a lot to get me upset. Personality wise, my friends say I'm fun to be around and I'm fairly outgoing as well. The only thing that throws me off is people thinking I'm religious because I'm polite. That one I just don't get. Religion has nothing to do with being polite. lol
