Discuss Shinigami Dance: Playground of Deities
Horendithas replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Theater
I plan on writing something in the next day or two for this. Just because I have an idea for putting Aeru and Adrian at odds. In the mean time though... *Adrian smacks DB upside the head because he's in a bad mood* :p -
I'll leave the true grammar and structure bit to Allamorph, he's far better at it than I am. It doesn't quite flow well when I'm reading it but I couldn't really tell you why. But I'm sure Allamorph could. :p
In her room, Princess Cassandra pouts over having to wear frilly clothes, and wonders if her sister Sophie, who lives in the Red Kingdom, will show up and cause a fuss.
I only have one question and that's to wonder why Cassandra was worried about Sophie causing a fuss. I'm going to assume that you'll go into detail on that later, but for now it doesn't really lead into the double murder very well. As for the rest of the story, It's too soon to for me to judge the actual story, though the toss in of mentioning a spell in regards to the fire was a bit off since until that point I was getting no impression that there was any sort of magic in the story. Anyway, I'd have to see more of it to give you a better impression of what I think since right now it's still a bit unclear in my mind as to just how the story is going to go. In other words, it's not enough for me to decide if it's the type of story I will like or not.

So how is the quality of the RPGs being posted? Does it stack up to what you knew of the past RPGs posted in OB?
A combination of both, some are obviously better than the first one's I joined when I attempted a few rpg's a while ago and some are even worse than the ones I tried so long ago. I'm only talking about just under two years ago though. I wasn't around before that. Over all, I'd say that at any given time there is always some good ones running.
What do RPers want these days? What elements of an RP do you look at before signing up?
In addition to a good back story or rather some fun, I think people also look for whether or not it's something that interests them. I look for at least some sort of background along with an indication that there is going to be some level of creativity going on. Instead of a total rip on an existing story.
When you look at signing up to an RPG, does it matter who posted it?
Yes. Because if it's someone who has a tendency to start rpg's and abandon them shortly after they start running or before they even begin. It's a total waste of my time to make a sign up if the creator isn't even going to follow through. I'm willing to give people a chance, but if I see that they constantly do that sort of thing, I won't even bother to look at a new one when they try to run one again.
As an RPG writer, do you write for your audience (prospective RPers), or do you write a story that you want to personally want to roleplay and hope others find it interesting?
Well I'm not really a solo RPG writer, but I have been working with SunfallE on Silver One from the very beginning and I always tried to write things that fit what she had already created and would also appeal to the others who were interested in being a part of it. And yes I personally wanted to role-play in it or else I wouldn't have offered to help her with it and to take over a pre-existing character.
And, have you ever given thought to what consequences (both positive and negative) your RPs have on your audiences' lives? For instance, someone makes a character very close to their heart (is very close to their real life self) and they watch how their character interacts with others.
Yes and no, for one thing, most if not all posts where I work extensively with other characters have involved a certain amount of communication. Not for the audience but rather for the fellow rpger. As for myself, I never make a character who is close to my real self, I enjoy playing something I am not since I think it forces me to be creative, to create a persona completely different from my own. So other than to make sure I'm not stepping on a fellow players toes, I don't worry about that at all. I worry about creating a story that flows well and is fun to read for myself and the others who are a part of it.

So I'm saying I am still interested... Who else feels the same way that I do?
Well seeing that Aaryanna has assumed control of one of the wayward characters in this game and The Boss's character is now dead and I along with some of the others have posted... I'd say it's fair to assume I am still interested. Especially since Beth was telling me that not only is the Gate mission planned out but the next one after that, so I'd definitely like to see how those go as well as finishing up the current one. I've got several ideas as to why they are experiencing the difficulties that they are and I'm curious to know if any of them are correct or not. Also, Nakeisha is too amusing for this to die. Brianna was on the bridge when she realized that the lock obtained by Bishop on the crew over at the space station indicated that the one for Vayne had been lost. She was about to go and head for the transport room herself when there was no answer, but then Dr. Travis finally answered her attempts to contact the team. "I'm sorry Dr. Henderson, but Lt. Vayne is dead." He told her in a quiet voice. Dead? Shocked, Brianna sat back down hard. How can he be dead? "Gods... What happened?" "We were trying to get to the Commander Center via the lift shaft, but it's not working properly." Dr. Travis started to choke on the memory, unable to explain clearly what happened. "He wasn't able to get out of the way in time." "What?" Brianna shook her head, he wasn't making any sense, get out of the way in time? Out of the way of what? "Never mind Dr. Travis, you can explain later, what are you going to do now? Get me the Colonel so I can talk to him." "Uh, that's not possible, he's already leaving the area so I assume we are going to look for another way to get to the Command Center. We don't have a lot of time before we'll need to take a stimulant again." Dr. Travis explained. "I'll contact you when we've learned more." "Wait!" Brianna called out but Bishop shook his head indicating that Dr. Travis had cut the communication. "What in the world did he mean by stimulants?" "I would imagine that he's referring to the fact that something is causing our bodies core temperature to drop." Dr. Sanderson said from behind the two, causing both of them to jump slightly. They had been so focused on what Dr. Travis was saying that they hadn't heard the doctor enter the bridge. "It seems that you two are also affected," Catherine said as she took a moment to scan both of them. Then she prepared a shot to give to Brianna and Bishop. "I've advised the Colonel that if they can't figure out what's going on, we'll need to retrieve the team and leave the area as best we can." She looked away once she was done with giving them a shot. "I hope they can get back to where Lt. Vayne is so we can return his body to his family." She looked back at the two. "By the way, where is Miss Erickson? Even if we aren't as adversely affected as the team at the space station, it would be best if I give her a stimulant as well. Even if I don't know the cause, treating something like this before someone's body temperature drops too much is more effective." "Well, she went to check out some odd readings I was getting from the engines." Bishop spoke up. "So she's probably in the engine room." "I'll go and tend to her as well then." Dr. Sanderson reached into her medical kit and pulled out the stuff necessary for them to treat themselves again. "This is enough for each of you to treat yourselves again. If you start feeling cold inside, administer the shot immediately, understood?" "Yes Doctor." Brianna nodded. And then she took the CCB from Dr. Sanderson when she offered it, though why she was giving her one made no sense. Puzzled she looked up at her. "I haven't had time to go over everything, but you might want to review the report of what happened to the people at the space station. Once I've treated Miss Erickson I'll keep working on trying to find out just what caused them to die of hypothermia." Brianna thought to ask her more questions and then changed her mind when the doctor turned and left the bridge. Questions of that nature could wait until after she took care of Miss Erickson first. As well as finding out just what had happened that resulted in the death of Lt. Vayne. We should have turned around and left, taking our chances instead of sticking around to find out what's going on. But even as she thought that, Brianna knew it wasn't the answer. Even if they had tried to leave, it was no guarantee that they would have gotten free of what ever was causing the gravitational anomalies or their bodies temperature to drop. In fact it wouldn't surprise her if the strange malfunctions were also being caused by the same thing. We need to figure this out soon! She thought. Before it's too late!

That's what I think too... clockwise, if I'm not mistaken. I simply don't see how it's at all possible for someone to see it the other way.
That's what I thought, but if I watch it for any length of time, it does both. I'll be watching it spin clockwise and then it just switches to spinning counter clockwise. If I quit watching for a little bit and go back, it does the same, spins one way, then the other and then back again. It doesn't stick to just one direction.

Jachym laughed. "Oh how ironic, one's souls have been recovered, but with their new limitations they may as well be useless." He smirked even more at the look of irritation in some of the other's eyes. "Perhaps you're merely attempting to have us believe that it is someone else who is backed into a corner instead of yourself brother." Treisleilai spoke up. "Such boasting could be your poor attempt to hide how close you are to losing." "Or perhaps I boast because I have lost no one. The sea hides the truth far below and one who is not prepared will not survive the journey to discover just what is there." Jachym just shrugged indifferently, "Let us see what the tide brings in shall we?" "Oh that horrid girl!" Charlotte declared as she attempted to get back up from where the water had sent her flying. Ian extended a hand to help her but she pushed it aside and finally got up on her own, hanging to the back of one of the chairs. "What is the matter with you? Why did you do nothing? You said that they spoke the truth but how could you possibly know that?" Ian watched as Charles finally made up his mind and hurried after Naomi. "It's similar to the power I seem to have gained since I arrived here. Just as that girl seems to be able to control water, if I am willing to give up my memories, I can learn the truth." Ian turned back to Charlotte. "It told me that those two had done nothing to the children." "Well I certainly hope it's correct." She sighed as she attempted to wring some of the bitterly cold water from her clothes. "I need to change out of these wet clothes, I wonder if this place has any dry clothing." Ian looked around and then indicated what seemed to be a sign to Charlotte with a wave of his right hand. "Lets take a look shall we? I certainly hope it's in a language we can understand." Both of them moved over to the sign taking a look. And though some of the terms made no sense, it was readable. "I know not what most of these terms are, but it does seem that there is something on the next level that is a store for clothing. We should go and take a look." It didn't take them long to find where the sign had indicated, and in a while both of them were changed in to the odd yet rich clothing of this strange world. Ian didn't know what to think of the dark blue pants and the vivid color of the shirt. Never had he seen such a bright orange color except as a flower. Charlotte was far from pleased at the selection. "What kind of barbarians are these people?" She complained when she finally found a set of men's pants with a drawstring that would comfortably fit around her abdomen. And the baggy shirt was no better. "The lack of proper clothing is appalling!" Irritated she brought her wet clothing out from the dressing room she had used to carefully find racks to spread them out to dry. "Let us look around for a bit while those dry, I refuse to wear these clothes for a single moment more than is needed!" Ian didn't argue, even if the light had told him that she was kind deep down, it didn't change the fact that at times Charlotte was very trying to be around. He simply waited patiently for her to get use to walking in the new clothing before they began to explore the other levels of the place. There were other shops as well as what seemed to be restaurants and even living quarters for people who must have lived there at one time. Further up as they were walking past one of what had to be some sort of business, both of them stopped when they thought they heard someone's voice calling out. "Did you." Charlotte started to ask but stopped when she saw Ian's face. Clearly he too had heard the voice. Both of them entered the strange store, unfamiliar with just what it was until Charlotte finally spoke up. "It looks like a hospital. Though I've never seen one so grand!" She declared. Just then the voice they had heard called out again. "Is someone there? Please, someone help me!" The female voice said. Ian headed back and followed the voice until they found her, a woman who was trying to crawl across the floor in a room with several beds for patients. What's the matter with her? Ian wondered as he walked over and knelt down beside her. "What happened?" He inquired of her as he took notice of the tears streaming down her face. "I'm not sure, I think I died twice and then something brought me back, but now I can't feel my legs!" Ira continued to sob. "I don't know what to do!" "Well perhaps they have some of those chairs with wheels that I have seen before." Charlotte said, "Let me see if they have one." She walked over to the other doors in the room and started opening them one by one to look. Finally, in the last closet Charlotte found what seemed to be what she wanted. "Well that's odd," She said to herself as she started moving things aside. "How in the world can one fold a chair?" Ian wondered what she was talking about when the horrible sound of things falling down caught his attention and Charlotte let out a shriek as she fell backwards when the stuff in the closet came crashing down on her. And then as she tried to move and cut her hand on something that had fallen next to her, she shrieked again, only this time in pain. "Charlotte!" Ian exclaimed as he ran to help her, snatching up some of the bandages that had fallen to wrap up her hand that had been cut. "It burns Ian!" Charlotte cried as she pulled her left hand up against her chest, cradling it. Ian looked through the stuff to see what had cut her, picking up a narrow glass container with a strange substance dripping out of it now that it was broken. What is it? Ian didn't know what to do, there were so many things in this place that he did not understand. "My God!" Ira exclaimed. "You need to find a doctor and fast! That stuff will kill her!" "Are you sure?" Ian asked. "Quite." Ira said grimly. "I don't know what idiot stored poison in the closet with the other supplies, but there's no mistaking the universal sign for the stuff. She needs an antidote and quick!" This card allows you to poison one soul, making it die automatically after three posts unless one of those posts removes the venom by some mean. OOC: I believe you all know the drill, the owner of Charlotte had better cure her in the next three posts. Even if Charlotte is not in the posts in question or even mentioned, once three posts have gone up after this one, she dies. Hehe.

Jared for the first time was carefully set up in the observation room of the Creator, the conference table changed into a holographic display of the three planets they would be taking along with all of the ships represented on the display. He was already linked in directly with Sandra who was on the bridge and Stevens who was also set up in the observation room of the Conqueror. Everyone was ready, even Crystal who was set up on the bridge of the Creator to oversee all of the medical aspects of the battle. He looked back at the display, they had already made a short stop and positioned the three aspects of the fleet so that their exit point from hyperspace would put all three sections of the fleet in the position to attack immediately. It was but a short stop and the agents in the sector responsible for suppressing any news over detecting the hyper space signatures had done their job as no alarm was raised or transmissions indicating they were coming had been detected. "All right everyone," Stevens was saying moments before they arrived. "Remember your targets, priority goes to taking out any Messenger Ships as well as to neutralize planetary defenses. You'll have a brief moment to immediately target any ground troop facilities before the distortion shields are raised so be sure to take it." "Remember," Stevens said, knowing that at Vallon Drace would be listening in from his position of being with the troops on standby. "The three representatives are to be taken alive, anyone else is irrelevant." Acknowledgments came from all parties who would be leading the battle and then at the appropriate mark the fleet dropped out of hyper space, taking the forces there by surprise. Immediately Jared shifted his attention to the section he was leading that was taking back the planet where the special plants for explosives were grown. Jared almost laughed out loud when he realized that not only had the New Alliance not increased the defenses for that planet, but that the immediate scans indicated that most of the military presence was gone. I wonder where they moved them too? He wondered as he issued the orders for the defenses to be disabled and then the transports to head for the ground to seize the main buildings. His part was turning out to be far too easy as the Battle Ships surrounding that world launched the troop transports. "Well, what have we here," Sandra said as she looked at the readouts in front of her, ignoring the connection to Jared and Stevens for the moment. "Target the new construction and take it out at once." She commanded the bridge crew, even as she looked up to the holographic monitor connecting her to Stevens and Jared. "It seems that the New Alliance was in the process of building more training facilites for troops." She advised them. "What is the status on the facilities at your locations gentlemen? Initial scans indicate that there is a lot more in terms of troops than there should be." "That would explain why my group is encountering little to no resistance at all Sandra, the troop facilities here are pretty much vacant. I'll know as soon as the transports land, but it looks like they simply freed the slaves and left a token force to keep things in order." Sandra crossed her legs and leaned back a bit as she observed the battle, her fingers flying over the input for the terminal as she issued orders and directed the path of the attack. They were not expecting us to come here. She thought as she watched the powerful lasers of the Creator take out several of the new facilities being built before the powerful disruption shields were raised. "It's the same here Sandra," Stevens commented. "It looks like most of the troops were moved to the main world to assist with the construction. Just as it looks like most of the fleet that was here was sent elsewhere." Sandra had to agree, the last intelligence report they had gotten indicated that there were close to thirty Battle Ships but so far, unless they were hiding elsewhere in the sector, there was only the fifteen that her section was dealing with. And here we brought the two flag ships along with fifty Battle Ships to be prepared. She shook her head as one of the enemy Battle Ships exploded, close enough to the Creator to cause a brief tremor to run through the deck. "I'm going to go ahead and launch the transports, with the distortion shields raised on the planet, they'll need to land at the outskirts and take down the generators so we can transport the rest of the troops to the surface." Sandra pulled up the com link to Drace. "Sub-Comander Drace, you are to launch at once." She ordered. "Understood Commodore," Drace said with a formal bow. Sandra cut the link and went back to overseeing the battle that was raging, yet another Battle Ship exploded, leaving the number of ships still fighting at six. Damn stupid fools, she thought as she pulled up yet another link to send a general broadcast, the same one that had been issued within moments of the battle starting. A demand for them to surrender. This time, it was heeded and the remaining ships came to a halt, powering down. "Start the clean up gentlemen," She said even as she watched the transport ships launch and head for the surface. "It seems that the representatives can't be bothered to answer the call to surrender." Though seeing that even a surrender would gain them no mercy, it did not surprise her. Sandra leaned back even further and smiled as she watched the report indicating that the first of the troop transports had landed on the surface.

I don't really download music so I couldn't say, but if it is being shared illegally, or rather without the consent of the owner of the CD or the company that produced it then of course it's illegal to download the music. The only thing I don't agree with is the statement that making a copy of a CD that you paid for legally is illegal. If you are making a copy for your own personal use, then I see no issue with that at all. If you're making it with the intent to give someone else a copy who had not paid for the CD then yes I could see it. But just for your own personal use? That's just greed on their part to expect you to buy the same CD twice so you have a disk at home and one that you use in say your car or a different player in the home. Plus I like to make a mixed disk since I don't have an ipod and use a portable CD player, so I like putting only my favorites songs on a disk to carry around. It's more accessible than carrying around ten disks and switching them out just to listen to a different song.

"At this rate brethren, well be here for all eternity if you keep aiming to save souls instead of eliminating them from this game of Paraxis's." Jachym observed. "Even Celesta is following that tactic. Though I suppose it can't be helped if some of you have already been eliminated and are merely scrambling to save your own skin." He laughed. "I'm sure each one here has their own strategy Jachym." Paraxis spoke up. "It's too soon to know just how things will play out." Jachym bowed ever so slightly to Paraxis in acknowledgment before turning to set his own plans in motion, idly toying with his power card now that the mortal soul Christopher was dead. With a smile he tossed it into the pool once more. Naomi was wondering just what was going to happen next when she found herself along with Charles and the pregnant woman and the man who had told them to stay away, still brandishing the twin knives that he had pulled out. It took them a moment to realize that they were inside an enormous building made of crystal, open at the center with multiple levels that went up and an enormous fountain running in the center. Tables and chairs and potted plants were all around the fountain. Other than the sound of the water it was deathly quiet as the four looked at one another, wondering just what to do. Alarmed Ian looked around wildly for the two children, furious he turned back to Naomi and Charles. "What did you do with the children?" Naomi started to respond and then she staggered a bit as something seem to hit her and for but a moment she felt the oddest sensation as if she could feel all the water around her, even her own body as it was rushing blood to where she had sprained her ankle. What the hell? Water is far below us and yet appearing as if by magic nearby to spill out of the ground and flow to fall off the edges? Dizziness overcame her and she clutched Charles tightly until it passed. "We didn't do anything to the children," Charles explained when it was obvious that Naomi was feeling unwell. "How could we? We were brought her just like you were." "Don't lie to me slave!" Charlotte snapped. "I don't know what you've done to that poor girl with you or the children, but I'll make sure you are appropriately dealt with." "Charlotte." Ian slipped his knives back into their sheaths. "He speaks the truth." "What? How could you know that? For all you know they could have killed them and brought us here to kill us too!" Charlotte protested. Naomi laughed bitterly, "Just listen to yourself you whiny Bitch! Instantly assuming that we would be so heartless as to kill children." Without even thinking about it or even realizing how she had gained the power to do so, Naomi tapped into the water flowing from the fountain, causing it to shoot upwards even higher and then come down in a huge splash that soaked Charlotte and Ian. H...how did I do that? Naomi wondered. She had just thought of wishing she could shove the arrogant woman into the water. "Gah! You! You!" Charlotte said furiously at a loss for words. She looked around and then seized one of the potted plants sitting on the table closest to them. Without a word she threw it at Naomi, striking her on the left arm. Once again Naomi tapped into the water, only this time it rose up out of the fountain and then literally shot towards Charlotte and Ian, knocking both of them head over heels. "You stupid Bitch!" Naomi yelled. "I would never hurt children!" Angry she pulled free of Charles and limped off in the opposite direction of the two who were still getting up. Charles looked at the two who were still getting up after being hit by the water and then at Naomi's back as she continued to walk away. How did she do that? He wondered even as he stood there trying to decide just what to do next.

Getting past the border between sector one and seven had gone exactly as planned and in only a few days they would be arriving at the main world in sector seven. Unless someone managed to get clear of the strike force that had taken down the border, their arrival would be unexpected. Especially since undercover operatives had been tasked with making sure that any potential alarms would not be set off as they traveled through the sector. And even if they were alerted as to their intentions, they would be no match for the size of the fleet approaching. Sandra, though it was not necessary, was currently on the bridge at her station and going over all the details of the upcoming battle. She had already done it many times to fine tune and make sure that everyone was fully prepared. It wasn't until she realized that Jared was chuckling at her that she finally looked up from what she was doing and over to where Jared was sitting. "And just what do you find so amusing?" She asked when she realized that he really was laughing at her. "At your serious expression Sandra. We won't be arriving for several days and yet you're still going over the assignments as if you only just issued them." Jared leaned back, crossing his legs as he smirked even more. "In other words, you need to relax a bit before we get there. You'll be more focused if you do." Sandra turned her chair so she was facing Jared, "Are you trying to tell me that you have no reason to review the plans for the battle? Not even the ones for the section of the fleet you will be commanding?" "Not at all Sandra, I've already done that and I intend to do so again before we arrive. What I'm saying is that there is only one element that concerns me about the upcoming battle and that is our newest Sub-Commander Vallon Drace." "Then perhaps you can enlighten me as to why Vallon Drace concerns you." Sandra leaned back herself as she cocked her head to the left upon finishing her statement. Her own eyes reflecting the amusement she felt over Jared questioning Vallon Draces's involvement. "I have no concern over his actual ability to lead or rather to fight. What I am concerned about is whether or not he'll remember to take the representatives alive as ordered." Jared laughed a bit. "You are not the only one to have heard about him, and after looking though his service record, it's clear that using him to capture the three is a potential risk." "I know Jared, that's why I assigned him the task." Jared's eyebrows shot up, "Then why did you say you want the representatives alive?" "Because I do. Even if he fails in his mission to capture them, when word gets out that he is the one responsible for leading that aspect of the battles, I expect the representatives in others sectors to start having second thoughts about backing the New Alliance." Sandra smiled. "It's simple really, if he captures them as ordered, they'll be sent to sector one, interrogated and then tried and executed. If he fails, I'll use his reputation to put fear into the others who would be so foolish as to oppose the High Council." Sandra laughed delightedly. "It's rather ironic in a way. He reminds me of you actually." She laughed even more at Jared's slightly offended look. "I only mean that both of you are known for being vicious, him in battle, you as an interrogator." "Then you understand my concern Sandra, if he kills them, who will I interrogate?" Jared said with exaggerated mock seriousness. Sandra just laughed even more. "Don't worry Jared, we'll have plenty of traitors who would benefit from your expertise." "Good." Jared said shortly. "Blaine was such a disappointment after all, cooperating and taking all the fun out of it." Sandra just smiled even more. "Oh I know, and that in itself was rather amusing, to see one such as him so easily handing over information. Anyway, I'll keep what you said in mind Jared, but until then, I want to finish reviewing this." Though as she turned back to her station, Sandra found herself feeling a bit more lighthearted. In that respect, Jared's skill as her Commander was something she never wanted to do without. There weren't enough people around who could freely laugh at her and talk to her as though they were equals. And now that she was a Council member, she expected that it would stay that way. It was unavoidable, but it was also a bit lonely at times.

Awesome, I'm getting really excited about this. I hope there's a good turn out for the marathon. :animesmil
I'll be sure to stop in briefly as well. I've only gotten to about episode seven so I really need to see the rest. I don't know if I'll stick around the whole time or not though. Still... sounds like fun.

The New York City skyline is to die for. I can't adequately put all my love for this city into words that would do my feelings justice. I went to Colorado for a week and while the mountains were placid and beautiful, it doesn't hold a candle to the magnificence of Manhattan.
City boy. :p I'd argue in the exact opposite direction. lol Boring artificial buildings don't hold a candle to the beauty of the mountains. ;) That and I hate the smog that often goes along with said cities. Yuck. I have to admit, that mountain view is part of what I love best about the University of Utah. When the weather is warm, it's pleasant to sit out side for studying or for lunch. I've spent a lot of hours doing just that.

Hehe, Beth is right, we need more of these Des! And how ironic that this coincides with Beth's Official OtakuBoards Whine Day event no less! It's a double whammy! And the whole conspiracy bit with the members carrying torches, wearing hoods and chanting? Oh that so brings up the image of a KKK meeting. :p Purging the boards of the element that is perceived as being inferior. Great imagery there with that, as well as once again making me laugh and laugh over the whole idea. Great stuff Des. I hope to see another article and soon.

Oh that's easy. Everyone knows that it's Gavin who's killing OB! :blulaugh: Along with the looking through rose colored glasses towards the past instead of the future and the incessant whining about the rules, the inside jokes and the zero tolerance towards newbies. The list goes on and on. In the end, I say we just clobber Gavin, that'll fix things for sure! lol

Have you heard about the Hello Kitty vibrators they sell in Japan? I had always assumed they were normal vibrators with a logo on it or something, but I saw them online recently and they are shaped like Hello Kitty. I'm the first to admit that I don't know a lot about the female anatomy, but can anyone explain to me how stuffing a cat up there would provide any sort of stimulation? Girls are weird. -Shy Edit: Here (link!) is what the darn things look like.
Haha! It was probably a guy who designed it or rather thought of it instead of a woman. So in other words Shy... Guys are weird! :p

Bad side effects OF Fanfiction and Watching anime
Horendithas replied to sayoeimomo's topic in General Discussion

Good fanfics do exist... as soon as you see one that doens't have 50 gramar and spelling errors in the first sentence... it should be good.
Good grammar and lack of spelling errors is no indication that something will actually be good. I've no doubt that there are ones out there that actually are good, but all you have to do is read a handful of Harlequin romance novels to realize that clean grammar and spelling is worthless as an indicator as far as actual quality goes. Though the lack of such errors is probably a good way to weed out the ones that are more lacking. If something had that many errors right up front, I wouldn't even bother to finish reading the first page let alone the entire story. -
I also attend the University of Utah in SLC, Utah. lol Though for a completely different major than Rach of course. Though as you can see here: Picture in this picture where they overlapped the different seasons... It's a pain in the butt to get around when the weather is bad. Only because I hate being cold though. So needing to run from one building to the next in the dead of winter sucks. And often, since it's closer to the mountains than I'd like it to be, in the morning, the breeze coming from the canyons just freezes your butt off. Like Rach, I too use the light rail system that goes to the university. Unlike Rach I live in a basement apartment and share it with one roommate. The lady I rent from is really nice and she never gives me or my roommate grief over having friends over on the weekend. Though it probably helps that she's very hard of hearing so even if the movie we are watching is a little loud, she can't hear it. I've never done the apartment deal or tried living in dorms. And since I get a pretty decent deal on the rent for where I'm at. I have no intention of doing so. I see no reason to move into something smaller, nosier, and more expensive to boot. lol

This is quickly becoming one of the weirdest threads of 2007, which is a good effort considering we're near the end of the year, lol.
Watching two teenage boys talk about masturbation is always weird James. lol
In any case, anyone who tells you that masturbation is wrong while they are simultaneously using a sex toy...ah, well, that's pretty self explanatory. Every time your mother tells you you're evil for doing it, just remind her of her rubbery friend.
It's true, and the idea that masturbation is wrong is almost laughable in a sense. Without getting too technical, not only is it fairly normal among both males and females, but for many woman, they need that extra stimulation when it comes to having a better sexual experience with their partner. In short, be more careful when your parents are around, also, don't bother to argue with them over the morality of the issue, in their eyes, you're still a kid and on some level they'll see you as being too immature to understand why they themselves use sex toys. After all Metalcore501, you are only 14.

"Bellanna," Jachym laughed. "It seems that your strategy is full of holes dear sister." "You just tell yourself that Jachym, I for one will not feel any pity when you are swallowed up by the depths of your own seas." She replied a bit tartly. Jachym just laughed even more. "We shall see, in fact, why don't you watch? I think you'll find this next bit rather entertaining." ******************************** Christopher was trying to think clearly, but other than to vaguely remember stumbling into a home to look for something to treat the poison. Then someone getting him to drink something as well as putting a blanket over him and a pillow under his head. Christopher felt like laughing as a wave hysteria hit him. It must be someone else here, the others would not help me. He opened his eyes to see a man and a woman standing just outside the door to the home he had stumbled into. He wanted to move, to say something, but he was too weak. Then as a brilliant light grew stronger in the sky he was finally forced to close his eyes. When he looked again. They were gone and the house he was in seemed to be shrinking. Alarmed he tried to get up to go outside, but his limbs would not respond, even though whatever they had made him drink seemed to have cleared his mind, his body was still unresponsive and all he could do was manage a crawl. Christopher was almost to the door when the walls closed in enough to trap him. He could do more than cry a weak scream of pain as the walls relentlessly crushed him before everything turned black. *************************** Cho and Jamie were standing in what appeared to be nothing more than a white room that stretched endlessly. If not for the touch of their feet on the white ground, it would have seemed as if they were floating in a vast sea of white nothingness. They were wondering what to do when others emerged from the stark plains. "What happened to the houses?" A child's voice was saying. Cho shuddered. "Great, it's that damn kid again. Will I never be rid of children?" But before Jamie could even think of a reply to that more people began to show up. "I wonder what happened to the city Charles?" An older female voice said. "I've no idea Miss Naomi." Jamie recognized that voice, it was the black man who had thought he was attacking Ash when he found him lying in the street. One by one the emerged, including an older woman who's flesh was rotting. Disgusted Jamie pulled away, but she seemed unaffected by his reaction. There were eleven of them total, a fact that surprised Jamie and he wondered what had happened to the Russian woman he had met. But before he could say a word the man with the young child, and older kid and a pregnant woman, came to a halt. "What is going on here? What do you want?" He demanded. "Excuse me?" Jamie asked, "What in the world are you talking about. I don't want anything, other than to go back home." "Don't lie to me, I know that you have powers beyond an ordinary mortal, as does the woman next to you. And the one who's flesh is rotting, she too is unnaturally tainted. And him?" He pointed to Charles. "You too have something hovering about you as well." "How would you even know that?" Jamie gave him a measuring glance, "Unless you too have some ability as well." "Stop squabbling like a bunch of children!" And older raspy voice interupped them. As one they turned to look at an older black man who was struggling to stand up. "We have a bigger problem to worry about, some man attacked me earlier." He indicated the blood soaked bandages he had wrapped around his chest. But the one with the woman and the two children was not so easily swayed and he pulled a set of twin knives free from his clothing. "I think it's best if all of you keep your distance." Ian did his best to still the shaking in his hands as he held the knives in front of him He had already sacrificed yet another memory to the light, but to know more than the knowledge that some of them had been granted a power like he had, and that one of them was a murder, it would tell him no more unless he was willing to give up more memories. Something he was reluctant to do, what if it was his wife? Or the memory of Joshua that he was asked to give up? "Oh give it a rest!" Marta exclaimed. "We need to figure out what's going on here." "Do that on your own," Jamie said, giving Ash a harsh glare. "I won't work with someone who would manhandle a lady." All of them glared at each other, hanging back, unwilling to trust the others. At that precise moment the white began to fade as wherever they were began to fade into existence.
Meanwhile, the death toll is still at four, so care to try and do something about that?
Well you do have four people going for life points and only three aiming for Death. So how about I up the stakes a little? I have a hunch about why SunfallE healed Christopher so I'm going to find out on that. Hehe. Which means I am posting and I'd like to ask everyone to steer clear since what I am doing will affect every single character. And thus I do not intend to post pictures since it would be pointless in my opinion. Anyway, once I am done, since I'm being annoyingly invisible, I'll come back and edit this post to that effect so you'll know. And Shy, just so you know, I will not be forming the surroundings, so that will still be up in the air as to just what the new area looks like. You'll understand once you read my post. Anyway... Time to finish it. Hehe. EDIT: And it's up. As Beth said... Go wild with what the new area is like. All of them are together, but I've got them not trusting each other at the moment. Heh.
