1.
I don't have standards; I merely write posts and you know, when people reply in a thread they usually do this thing called read other peoples' posts and then reply to what they said or actually consider what they said? I guess that's foreign here, lol. I think it's fine what many have said in this thread; the problem is none of them take into consideration what I said. I still see someone saying "Beauty is subjective" and it's blatantly obvious that they didn't read my post. I suppose that's their choice, if they choose to not read my post; but then I am told apparently that I cannot write long posts as if it's some murder to what I am saying. If you don't want to read my posts, that's your deal, but that doesn't mean I can't reply to others' posts and point out their fallibilities.
Or people simply respond to the opening post instead of every single point that was brought up. You're assuming they didn't read your post and even if they did they may still be of the opinion that "Beauty is subjective" Reading your post doesn't automatically mean that they are going to agree with your point of view. Or that they didn't take what you said into consideration. It means they think "Beauty is subjective" and nothing more. ;) And in the end it still is since I'll find something beautiful where you will find the same thing ugly. Both of us are correct of course. Because it is based on what we perceive as beautiful and therefore is subjective.
 2.
This is true Beauty...
No this is:

Anyway... As for the topic... others have hit on it but it really varies a lot since there are so many factors that depend upon how you were raised, culture, etc. So in the end it really is in the eye of the beholder. Personally I prefer inner beauty in the sense that a person's personality and soul is beautiful. There's just something refreshing about an honest and kind person since sometimes it seems that they can be so hard to find.
 3.
That was not directed at you, forgive me for not clarifying. I did give you three of the reasons though, I understand what you were saying.
Fair enough. ;) And I have to agree, those actions are pretty stupid and go beyond simple insults. Also, this is directed at you Copycatalyst, lets not degrade into personal insults. I've removed your last post for that reason. Even with the swear filter there's no need to tell people off. So lets quit using personal attacks please.
 4.
Forgive me for having self respect and honor.
You missed the point. Forgive me for actually wanting to understand why you were so upset. Since like I said before, you had not clarified that it was going beyond mere insults. :animesigh
 5. Jared didn't waste any time, immediately taking his team to the entrance Kiva had specified on the map, the one closest to where the map indicated that both Kerstin and Daniel were being detained. Without hesitation he motioned for the member in his team that had the explosives, and a moment later the electronic lock had been blown, resulting in the door opening up. Moments later they were in and it came as no surprise that the alarm did not sound. Jared had already figured that Kiva would have disabled as many systems as possible when she obtained the map of the facility. In many ways, it really was a facility. Jared was sure that Blaine had altered things for his own comfort, but many of the wealthy liked using an older style of military bases for building estates. Taking advantage of the ability to turn them into their own personal fortress. And the room they were in indicated that Blaine was no exception, the storage area was full of supplies, most of it illegal. He could arrest him on the spot for what was in that room. Representative or not Blaine had no reason for keeping restricted military weapons on the premises. Jared didn't need to tell the squad what to do as they immediately took out the surveillance in the room as well as the security defenses with well aimed shots. Jared left four members of the squad there to secure the room and to take out any of Blaine's hired help since they were bound to come there for supplies once they realized what was going on. Especially since by now he was sure that Daego had set up a distortion shield to prevent Blaine from simply turning off the transport shield and escaping. Just as distortion shields were designed to prevent ships from orbit attacking a ground based location, or transporting troops directly to a location, they were also used in sting operations such as this one. It was something that had the Resistance bases on Earth been on the surface instead of underground would have been supremely useful. But distortion shields did not work very well through solid dirt and rock. But here, it would be perfect. A moment later after glancing at the map Jared took the rest of the team out into the main hallway, instantly stunning anyone they saw while simultaneously taking out all surveillance and security defenses as they headed for the back up stairs should the lift malfunction, using the stairs to head for the third level where Kiva had indicated that both Kerstin and Daniel were being held. When they got to the third floor it was just as Jared had thought. The inside was done like the inside of a massive estate but more importantly Blaine's security had finally responded and were waiting for them. Even so, they were no match for a well trained assault team and within a few minutes all of them were sprawled on the floor stunned. Jared took a moment to study the map and then he split his small team into three groups. There were three possible routes for getting to where Kerstin and Daniel were being held and he did not want Blaine's security to escape with them via one route while they were coming down a different one. With a nod to each Jared took the center hallway leading to the spot while the others each took the hallway's to the right and left of the center one. It took them a little time since there were still pockets of security moving to cut them off as well as other employees simply doing their business. Jared was almost to the location when a party came around the corner of the hallway, clearly in a hurry. It was a party of seven, two of them carrying Daniel who appeared to be unconscious while the others were keeping an eye out, their weapons drawn. While the one who seemed to be leading the group was steering Kerstin down the hallway, tightly gripping her right arm with his left hand. It was a toss up as to who was more surprised. But Jared and the team gave them no time to respond, instantly stunning those who were carrying Daniel as well as the others. Clipping Kerstin with a stun blast when one of them attempted to grab her and use her as a shield. At the same time Jared got to their location and pulled out his hand held computer to check both Kerstin and Daniel the other two teams showed up from the same direction Blaine's security had with Kerstin and Daniel. Jared looked up after determining that both of them were simply unconscious. "Finish sweeping this area of the facility and then fall back to the entry point." The two smaller teams nodded and left. Jared opened up a line to Kiva. "Team Alpha, this is Team Beta. We've secured both Kerstin and Daniel. Once we've done a sweep of the area we'll be pulling out." "Got it Team Beta." Jared turned his attention back to both Kerstin and Daniel. Before they did anything those disruptor restraints had to be dealt with. He took a moment to pull up the override codes and then transmitted the signal to release the locks. He nodded to one one of the team members who took all of them off. Then they picked up both of them and headed back the way they came. Meeting the other team who was still keeping the storage area secure. "We're pulling out," Jared told them. "Got it sir." The others who were doing the sweep would await instructions from either Kiva or Daego as he had left them with instructions to continue guarding the storage area. But not before briefly contacting Daego to inform him that they were now under his command. Other than those who were carrying both Kerstin and Daniel, the rest would stay until they were no longer needed. Moments later they were outside and heading towards the edge of the distortion shield. Seconds later Jared's hand held computer beeped indicating they were clear. Jared immediately requested a transport door to the Creator, stepping through it the moment it opened. Then once they had helped him take both Kerstin and Daniel to the sickbay he dismissed all of them. Then once they were under the doctor's care he contacted Stevens letting him know that both Kerstin and Daniel had been recovered. Hopefully in just a short while he would get confirmation that Blaine had been caught as well. But more importantly, now he could finally give Darren some good news for a change. As well as William who was bound to be pleased that they had been able to recover Daniel as well.
 6.
I am not insulted by his words, but by his actions. All I said is that if his actions go further than cowardly piddeling, then I may have to confront him, not necessarily fight. If it does turn into a fight, I will not be the one to start it. Forgive me if I seem a bit stubborn, but I have to keep my principles. I refuse to be the victim of a coward.
So just what actions are we talking about here? So far you've mostly talked about insults and in my opinion those are not worth being this upset over. Those words are coming from an idiot who is too blind to see that there is nothing wrong with your relationship. But honestly, you're coming across as pig headed and stubborn since you've yet to list anything besides insults. And refusing to respond to verbal insults does not make one a victim. I'm trying to understand why you are so angry, or feel that your honor or pride has been hurt, but I just don't see it.
 7.
Sorry, but I'm far too prideful to not handle my own problems. My ego may be a bad thing in your eyes, but to me, it's all that I truly have. My honor and my pride. Unfortunately for this individual, I'm a fighter. However no one's going to die, and hopefully, no one will be getting hurt. I don't want this to turn into a physical conflict, but if it doesn, I have no problem with settling it..
To be blunt, it sounds like you're every bit as pig headed and stubborn about how they have hurt your honor and pride as they are about disapproving in who you date due to what race they are. If you really say you are going to 'settle' it if they start it. That's no better than them refusing to let go of the racial hatred towards you or your girlfriend. Remember... Pride goes before the fall. And right now it looks like your fall is going to be pretty damn painful. So just as they need to grow up as Retri put it. You my friend need to let go of that pride and get help from authorities if need be. Vigilante justice never works.
 8.
And you guys call SunfallE ruthless? My vengeance extends across the continent.
Allamorph, the day I actually see you being vengeful... is the day the sun comes up in the west. But since you still seem to want to dispute it, and believe me it is fun to watch. But still even out side the game she's got vengeance down pat: Post Also... You're being to literal. No one in this entire game has really been ruthless. They may have plotted and manipulated well, but ruthless? Not one of you. She's still going to get my vote though since she was the most surprising in how she played the game. At least in my opinion. lol :p Oh and you're welcome for the smack. Rach's expression was priceless, I assure you. lol
 9.
Thank God, I'd gotten to the point where it was instinctive like touch typing to just click "No" and work from there. Why people ever had those message receipts was beyond me.
Though I'm glad they are no longer automatic, I am glad the option is still there. But then I always use the receipt function when it's a pm that I need to know if a member read it or not. The rest of the time I never use it though. Also as for the changes... I am loving the updates. One of my favorite functions so far is when you highlight the text and add color or bold and it stays highlighted so you can apply several things without needing to highlight it again. As well as how it stays in place. Before every time I highlighted and selected bold, it would jump back to the beginning of the post, forcing me to scroll down to where I was in the post and now it doesn't. Or when I'd try to insert a link/picture/smilie in the middle of the post and it would put it at the end of the post instead of where I wanted it, so I'd have to retrieve it from the end and manually put it where I wanted it to go. So it's nice that it doesn't do that anymore. Those so far are my favorite changes. :)
 10.
On a slightly related tangent, has anyone else noticed that James's earlier announcement has suddenly vanished? 11. Alright, I've semi tagged your character Clurr since you posted that he was heading for the library. And though Vanyel mentioned the teleporting class I avoided having him agree so that's completely up to you to decide if he'll join it or not. ;) If I got his responses wrong just let me know and I'll change it. 12. Vanyel had gotten over her initial surprise and fear from what had happened. If only because the idea of leaving such a huge library as well as having her own room and not worrying about food, was something that was mind boggling. The idea that anyone could afford a place like this was beyond her. And as she carried the small stack of books she had gotten back to her room she decided that she was going to stay. Even if she wasn't sure what to think about Liam. She had to learn how to transport herself and Vanyel didn't know of any other place that could do that. Vanyel was so lost in her thoughts about the basic classes she would start in the mornings in the library that she wasn't paying any attention to where she was going. At least not totally. So she was not expecting to go around the corner and run into one of the other's who was new like she was. And though the collision wasn't that great it did result in her books going everywhere. "Sorry." Julian, at least that's what she thought his name was, said. Vanyel just watched him as he helped her pick the books back up and then handed them to her. "Math and English huh? I didn't think they'd be teaching stuff like that here." Vanyel felt herself turn a little red, even if Levon had said he had been homeless, she was probably the only one who had next to no schooling. She couldn't help but feel self conscious. It's not my fault she thought angrily. Julian seemed to realize that he had said something that touched a nerve as he quickly changed the subject, "Uh yeah, about the classes, have you signed up for any yet?" "No, but the librarian Sara said there's a teleporting class being held in front of Esper Hall at 4:30 pm. It's being taught by a Miss Rose." Vanyel paused for a moment and then continued. "I'm going to it, you can always come too if you want." Julian shrugged. "I'll think about it. Anyway... Sorry again for bumping into you." Vanyel watched as he continued towards the library and then she turned and headed to her room. She wanted to put the books away before she headed out to the class. I need a way to keep track of the time. A long time ago she had stolen a watch, but when it broke she never bothered to get another one. She continued on her way until she came to the door to her room. Vanyel opened it and entered, taking a seat at the desk, neatly placing the books the librarian had given her for the class in the morning on basing reading, writing and math. Then she put the two fantasy novels she had picked out down as well. Curious she opened the drawers to the desk, the top one was filled with different types of pencils and pens as well as other supplies. The next had different types of paper for writing. Well that's handy, I won't have to ask anyone for stuff. Though a part of her was still feeling rather self conscious at having so much provided for her. With an audiable sigh she got up and went into the bathroom to take a moment to clean up. Then once the clock on the wall was at about 4:20 pm she left to head for the teleporting class.
 13. Meh, someone else will have to catch Shayla in a lie since Vanyel does her best to keep any thoughts out. I'm thinking it's going to be funny when Aaryanna's character Tasha arrives though, what with that Charm thing of hers. That's gonna confuse the hell out of Vanyel since being interested in guys or girls is something she doesn't think about. lol Anyway...I'll be back later with a post so we can get to chapter two. I'm eager for Takuya's and Aaryanna's characters to show up.
 14. Crystia didn't know what to think about Fluff's forward behavior. She hadn't been around children since her brother had been killed two years ago. But that didn't seem to bother Agent Fluff who chatted like a little mad thing, asking her questions left and right. Was it true that terrorists didn't take a bath? Was it true that they killed their own? The questions went on and on. Until finally movement in front of the cafeteria as they approached it caught her eye. It was Grape Ape limping along with Drei assisting him. What the? Agent Fluff just gave him a strange look. "What ya limping for Old man? Did you trip and fall or something?" "Steady Grape Ape," Drei said even she placed her hand on his shoulder, clearly suppressing the urge to chuckle. Grape Ape sighed, "Just ask Mother what happened Fluff." Then with a pained look he continued down the hallway. Crystia just watched them go and then followed Fluff who had already entered the cafeteria. Some form of commotion reached her ears and she followed her to find out just what it was. She had barely entered the room when many of the agents there looked away, with perhaps the exception of Janus who watched her every move. It was obvious that he wasn't going to trust her anytime soon. But then her thoughts were interrupted by something touching her leg. Startled she looked down to see a small white dog standing up on it's hind legs for lack of a better word, pawing at her for something. Since when did we have a dog here? "Oh Aaryanna!" Fluff called out. "Come back here this instant!" She ran over to pick her up. "You naughty dog!" She smiled at Crystia. "Usually she always obeys, unless you have something she wants. What's in your pockets?" Crystia pulled out a small bag of carrots that she had gotten earlier at lunch time to have for a snack during the afternoon. There was still a few left. Fluff laughed. "No wonder! Aaryanna loves carrots!" She set Aaryanna down who went back to begging Crystia standing up on her hind legs and waiting. "Go ahead. So long as it's fresh veggies she can have it." Crystia looked at Mother who nodded and then pulled out the carrot, offering it to Aaryanna who took it and immediately ran to find a spot and lie down to eat it. "Anyway," Fluff spoke up. "What's the plan for the Event that we're suppose to do?" A couple of the other Agents patiently explained what they had suggested so far. "Oh I don't know," Fluff finally said. "Those could be fun I suppose, but what about my idea for a Bermuda Triangle Challenge?" She proceeded to explain to them what she had already explained to Crystia. Becoming impatient when no one said anything immediately. "Well? Come on people! If we're going to stop those stupid terrorists we need to get cracking!" Agent Fluff said in her most bossy, know it all fifteen year old voice. Crystia just stood there, not sure what to do. Even if she had an idea she wasn't sure if anyone would even listen to it. Finally with a sigh she went over to get something to have for dinner.
 15.
*Steals Indiff's mod-rod and zaps himself with it*
I'd be careful when it comes to that sort of thing. With your luck you'd end up accidentally banning yourself you know.
I thought the reference to ML was cool. ^_^; I'm gonna have to refrain from using ashke and ke'chara now... Hehe. [now wants to pull in a Stefan]
Glad you like it. It's why her nick name is Ashke. But beyond the name she's nothing like Vanyel. But there will be similarities since I was creating her for an RPG based off of the Valdemar series.
As well as being influenced by playing Dragon Quest VIII Journey of the Cursed King
Ah, so that's where you got the idea for the charm power. You planning on developing her with similar skills like Jessica has in the game? That would be pretty funny actually. I'd be curious to see how you adapt them to fit in the RPG. As for the teacher bit. No worries DB, it's not that hard to simply choose a name from random to use. It's not like they have to be as developed as regular characters after all. When I get to it they'll be a lot like the librarian. You'll know their name and a tiny bit about them but not much else.
 16. After that post I would have been surprised if it was not my job. To take care of Kerstin and Daniel that is. lol
 17.
As well as yours indifference. Especially since I adore Mercedes Lackey! :catgirl:
I figured you recognize Vanyel, she's a bit different than what Mercedes had in mind but still there are similarities. Though if you've read her books then interaction with Vanyel for you will be a piece of cake, just imagine a little bit of Skiff in there and you'll have her down pat.
Yes, I've RPed with both Aaryana and Takuya [/B'] in the past and I trust them, especially since Takuya has an absurd amount of rp excperience here on OB, and I don't know how much action aaryana's seen, but she was great in the Maze. I trust both will make fine additions to Esper Jam!
Heh, I've been RPGing with Takuya and Aaryanna in Silver One and both are excellent. Plus Aaryanna is part of Survivor. If you're wondering what she's capable of DB, she was captain of the Mercenaries when her, Darren and Alexa produced their horror play that won. There's a link to it in my signature if you haven't read it yet. I find it supremely ironic that I'm the adult playing a reserved teenager and Aaryanna, a teenager, is playing an adult who of all things has the ability to make people infatuated with her. I'm thinking that Charm ability of her's is going to wreak havoc. Especially since she's indicated that it's practically out of control. lol
 18. Meh, I don't mean to make my posts so long. It's kind of hard to cram all the ideas I have down into a shorter post. This RPG is practically begging for the possibilities of a place like Esper Hall to be explored. Anyway, I think I got Liam Eldren down all right, having him be slightly know it all by finishing what Vanyel was thinking for her. If I'm off just give a yell DB and I'll edit it for you. As well as you Wet Cement if you feel that I got Levon's responses wrong. Oh and by all means Clurr, feel free to have Julian associate with Vanyel. So long as her responses are a bit reserved she's pretty easy to work with. And even then, it's not like we can't make use of the edit button if needed. ;)
 19. Vanyel had been clutching her new library card in her right hand, gawking at the sheer amount of books to choose from. When without warning for a split second she felt as if something had flattened her, it was the oddest feeling. But it happened so fast that if not for finding herself suddenly sitting in a chair in a completely different room with the other people who had been on the bus with her, she would have thought she imagined it. Just as Vanyel had never expected to end up in this bizarre place or that rooms could be bigger on the inside than they were on the outside. She had never in her wildest dreams imagined that someone could transport her against her will. And the realization that someone had caused her to freeze in fear, her library card falling to the floor as it slipped from her numb fingers. Hell! If not for the fact that the person spoke up immediately, declaring himself to be Liam Eldren, the leader of Esper Hall, Vanyel would have lost what little control she had over her ability to start fires. And even then only the sudden interruption by completely new people kept it from happening. Within moments of the adults arguing Vanyel could see that some of the others who had arrived at the same time she did were angry, but she only wished to get the hell out of that room. Nothing good ever came from adults arguing. And the moment the girl Shayla got up and left she seized the opportunity to go with her. Relieved to finally be out of that room. It wasn't until they made it down the first set of stairs that she had regained her composure enough to speak. And even then she had not expected Levon LeVaughn to actually respond. She had been talking more to herself than anything else. Still, even if she hated talking to strangers, it was slightly reassuring to hear someone else's voice. Something that in the end had her smiling a tiny bit. But before they could start down the next set of stairs a realization hit her. "Shit!" Vanyel swore. Even as she checked her pockets frantically. "What is it? You lose something?" Levon inquired even as he started looking around to see if there was anything on the floor. Vanyel shot him an strange look. "I must have dropped it. Dammit! I have to go back and get it!" "What did you drop?" Levon asked. "I'll help you look if you want." But Vanyel was not listening, she had already started running back up the stairs. The librarian Sara had told her that if she wanted to check out books that she had to have that card. How could she have been so careless? It never occurred to Vanyel that she could get another card. All she knew was that she had lost it and that she had to find it. "Oi! Vanyel!" Levon called after her, but Vanyel was still too busy heading up the stairs. "Man... What could be so important that she'd climb all those stairs?" Levon finally shrugged and continued to head down the stairs once he could no longer see Vanyel. It didn't take her long, after all living on the streets had kept her in shape. But still Vanyel stopped for a moment to catch her breath before opening the door a bit. Sure enough right next to the chair she had been sitting in was the card Sara had given her. But more importantly, it seemed that Liam Eldren was still sitting at his desk. Vanyel swore under her breath and then focused on the card. There was no way she was going to enter the room by herself, but she could simply transport the card. "That's hardly necessary Vanyel, you're welcome to simply come in and get your card." Liam spoke out causing Vanyel to jump. "Though I suppose it's probably good practice." Slowly Vanyel pushed the door open to find Liam watching her with an amused look on his face. Damn if that isn't... "Annoying that we can hear your thoughts?" Liam finished for her. Stung Vanyel stepped back a bit. Tempted to simply forget the card and leave. "Now, now, don't be like that. Esper Hall is meant for people like yourself." Liam said with a more serious look. "Besides, considering that you taught yourself, your shield is actually pretty good, but like Joe told you, we can show you how to do it better. As well as teaching you to teleport yourself among other things." Vanyel didn't know what to say. Yes it was true, she did want to learn to teleport herself as well as eventually learn how to block everyone from her mind, but still. It's wrong to... "Transport others without asking?" Liam finished for her again. "Nonsense. There will be times when transporting someone without asking could save their lives. But I can see that right now you don't understand that yet." Liam looked at her thoughtfully, "Still perhaps an example would work best. There are lots of reasons why transporting someone else is useful. We can always discuss things later when you've learned a little more." Then without warning Vanyel found herself back on the lowest level of Esper Hall, her library card in hand. What the hell? That time she hadn't even felt the strange feeling of being flattened. But a split second later an odd feeling entered her head, making her feel as if she was not alone. What? See? Liam's voice echoed in her head. Wasn't that far easier than walking down all those stairs? Then the feeling that someone was in her mind vanished. She shook her head, still uncertain of what to think. When she finally looked up Vanyel didn't need her map to see where she was. Right in front of her was the door to the library. I still need to sign up for basic English, Math and Writing. She had planned on doing that after looking around a bit. I guess I should sign up first and then I can look at the books. Decided she went to look for the librarian Sara.

It's really the best way to deal with it since as far as I know there isn't a plan to add an 'ignore' feature like one has here at OB. Also, if someone is sending harassing pm's take a screen shot of the pm in question and send them to one of the moderators over at theOtaku so they can see just what is going on. I'm pretty sure that SunfallE handles the reports on comments and such so your friend can pm her here at OtakuBoards or at her myO account here: SunfallE Just host the screen shots of the pm's and send her a link. 22.
I had no idea Aaryanna would stuff it into her signature.
She's not the only one who's tempted to put that in their signature. I can't recall the last time a post made me laugh that hard.
Oh I agree, it is amusing. *laughs* It's making me want to poke both Sandy and Rachmaninoff since in many ways those two are a lot alike. Hehe, though I'm sure they don't think so. ^_~
You have no idea. Trust me, it's almost painful how much those two are alike, well aside from the fact that Rach is straight. Anyway, Rach I can simply hunt down and poke for real, but Sandy? I'd need one of those handy voodoo dolls. Anyway... people definately need to get the blood flowing. Or else you just might get a rather nasty surprise. *evil grin*
I kid, but still it's a tempting thought

 23. My previous post was edited DB for clarity. Anyway... Also, in regards to the thoughts about characters being emo... Vanyel isn't. There's nothing emo about her. She's not messed up or whacked out due to teenage angst, she's whacked out due to all the negative experiences she had from being homeless. There's a big difference. She may seem to appear to be emo, but she's far from it. She doesn't suffer from some silly notion that her suffering is more than it really is. Her suffering is real. She doesn't consider herself misunderstood or repressed. At least not in the same way someone who has everything they could ever want would.
And there you go! sorry it came out so long, guess I got out of hand ^^;; Darren, i hope you don't mind me using your character so much, but I think I got her personality right, and she's perfect for these situations. Anyway, I now introduce Liam, the crappy old man who wants your characters to join his side. As stated in the term list, there is a faction that follows his ways, and they are basically always trying to recruit new people to their side. I had the characters leave without saying anything, since I figure you want them to formulate their own opinions of the old man (though i see hate being the biggest emotion XD)
The post was fine. And a bit interesting as well since I wasn't sure what to expect from you. ;) Though I can say that hate isn't going to be what Vanyel's thinking. lol That sort of thing would freak her out, not make her angry. I'll probably wait until a few others post, but her reaction will be quite different than the others. At least I'm thinking it will be.
 24.
well, Wet also happens to be one of my favorite posters thus far, so i'm not going to complain. His char has great personality. i think he was being sarcastic[/B'].
As was I DB.
XD don't worry about it. We make fun of Prem because we love him (well, i do, I think indiff just makes fun of him, lol) Anyway, as you can see, I managed to recapture the computer room, so I'll get to the post. huzzah!
I wouldn't go so far to say I love someone, but DB is right. Prem has been around for a while under different names Caoimhe. And unless Prem feels otherwise, most of what's been said was meant in fun. Just as my bit in my signature about DB is. But my points about not upping the rating were serious since that sort of thing really does not interest me and the moment that changed, I'd be saying so long and moving on. And the idea of our characters going postal? I can't help but laugh since that is terribly cliched. So sarcastic or not (and online that's not as easy to determine if someone's serious or not) I'm just saying that would ruin the RPG in my opinion. DB has already confirmed this, but this RPG never came across as one where the characters end up snapping and going nuts. DB was pretty clear in the sign ups:
Everything from rivalries, battles, relationships, the hardships of life and love, and the ultimate mastery of the mind [/B']will be covered here.
It's all about growing up, which he also clarified just a few posts ago. So if I think someone's tossing out an idea that looks like they missed how I perceived the RPG was intended to go, or that they weren't really reading DB's posts. You can bet I'm going to say something. Being a mod has nothing to do with it Wet Cement. That's the point of the underground thread, to work out what you want to see vs what you don't. And I'm saying, no stupid Columbine High soap opera scene or gaudy graphic sex scenes either. [and yes I know you've already agreed to these points DB I'm just clarifying that having an opinion on it has nothing to do with being a mod] That and if someone's going to use icon's indicating they are with stupid and point them in my direction, or make any other silly assumptions as to my intentions, it makes them fair game for similar treatment. ;)
 25. Heh, that makes three now DB. You've gotta stop whatever it is you're doing to attract them. I mean postal rampage? *laughs*
