Over AIM DB gave me a lcteure on how Nomura and Ace are my slaves, but I'm slaves of DB, Fyxe and Indiff. I just wanted to dance. I was soooo happy. (>O_o)>

Vanyel knew she should at least try to talk to people, but her instincts were to simply blend in and say nothing. Though trying to blend into this crazy place wasn't exactly easy. So instead she focused on the map and the you are here dot as it moved with her. Even though she was heading towards the library she figured it would be a good idea to at least check out the laundry mat. After all she'd need to wash her stuff since she was wearing her only clean outfit. The room, when she came to it, didn't look all that big on the map but inside was another matter, it was clearly much bigger than the map indicated. It looked exactly like any laundry mat did, with machines all along the walls and several rows down the center, and just inside the door was a spot loaded with all the detergent and other things one would need. But even better was the realization that one didn't need coins to operate the machines. Who the hell pays for all of this? Vanyel just shook her head and turned to leave narrowly avoiding bumping into some other people walking down the hallway, oblivious to her presence as they continued on as if nothing had happened. She watched them for a moment and then continued. Shrugging it off since she hadn't wanted to talk to them anyway. But Vanyel nearly jumped out of her skin when the dot for Shiana appeared right behind her on the map and she immediately spoke. Causing Vanyel whirl in surprise and nearly fall over if not for Shiana catching her outstretched hand to steady her. "There you are," Shiana said after Vanyel regained her balance and she let go. "I swear, your thoughts are so damn quiet that finding you is a pain in the rear." Vanyel could tell she was waiting for her to say something but she was still to startled to think, her heart pounding painfully. Shiana seemed to see it and finally sighed a bit. "Sorry about that, I keep forgetting that you aren't use to people simply showing up like that. Anyway, I came to tell you that your beginner's care package has been left in your room. Most Espers bring their own clothing and other things that they'll need, but for those who didn't have a place to call home we take care of that for you." Shiana smiled apologetically, "It won't be the latest styles and such I'm afraid, but still if you dislike the colors or anything you're welcome to come to me and we can do some trading." With that she vanished. Damn! Vanyel thought. I hate how they do that. If only because she herself could not. Oh how much easier her life would have been if she had been able to teleport herself. I need to stick around, at least long enough to learn how to do that. Vanyel took a deep breath and then continued towards the library, stopping at her room to see just what Shiana had been talking about. On her bed was a laundry basket full of stuff. More clothes than Vanyel had ever owned. She didn't care about the colors. She just neatly put them away in the drawers and then looked at the stuff on the bottom. Some basic stuff like shampoo, deodorant and other needs which she took and put away in the bathroom. Then at the very bottom was some sheets for the bed and another blanket. A moment to put that in the bottom drawer of the chest, set the basket at the end of the bed and she was done. Now that she had clean clothing she wouldn't have to worry about doing laundry later that day and in the end Vanyel would rather explore a bit. Picking up her map she left again intent on making it to the library this time. Even if the room didn't look very big it would most likely at least have books on just what Espers were. A moment later she was there. The doors already open. Vanyel immediately walked in. Nothing could have prepared her for the sight that met her eyes. Vanyel had no idea how it was even possible, but the library was massive. Easily bigger than the entire building had appeared from the outside when they first arrived. How is this possible? Vanyel didn't even realize that she was gawking until a kind voice spoke up. "You must be new here," A female voice said. Vanyel turned to face the dark haired woman standing close to her. She hadn't even heard her approach. Hesitantly she nodded to her. "I thought so," the woman said. "Well my name is Sara and I'm one of the librarians here. Just come with me and I'll get you set up alright?" Again Vanyel just nodded, following her to what appeared to be a checkout counter near the entrance. Still gawking at the sheer amount of books. It was both thrilling and intimidating at the same time.

Jared was in Sandra's quarters going over everything he had found out in regards to the video that Blaine had sent to both Darren and William. Even if the co-owner of the bar Larry hadn't known anything, confirming that Andris Raster was involved was a good start. All they would have to do is track his movements since it was likely that he'd eventually lead them to Blaine. Getting into the full surveillance records normally would be an easy task for someone like Kiva, but Jared wondered if local authorities would even allow her access due to the High Council being under arrest. He could get it, but unlike an Elite Specialist, for him it would take time. Not a lot but still it would require time to get that type of access. "That pretty much covers it Sandra, the only thing we need to do is track Andris's movements since he's likely to lead us to Blaine. Normally I'd leave that up to Kiva since as an Elite Specialist she'd get instant access to the surveillance records, but with all that's going on it's possible they'll refuse to recognize her authority." Sandra just smiled from her position on the sofa across from the chair Jared was sitting in. "Oh that's really not an issue at all, if she does encounter a problem Kiva can simply have Stevens authorize it, at the moment, due to Martial Law being issued. Stevens, Dakar, Zach and James have that authority." Sandra paused to set down her drink on the small side table. "However, I seriously doubt that Kiva will need Stevens' assistance. I would be very surprised if she did. She's proven to be extremely resourceful as well as good at her job. Honestly, if I'd known how skilled Kiva is I would have recommended her to be promoted to the position of Elite Specialist a long time ago. Even if I am just a candidate I can offer recommendations if I think the person has the necessary skills and demeanor for the job. I may not be happy with the information about the alterations being exposed, but I find no fault with the degree of professionalism she follows. In a sense it's supremely ironic that Kiva has surprised everyone with how through she is with her job. I'm quite certain that those who are responsible for hiding the truth about the alterations would have never agreed to her appointment if they had realized what would happen." Jared laughed, "True, and even if it is surprising as hell that the leader of the Resistance turned out to be Erica no less. I have to agree. I think it's fair to say that she's probably one of the best if not the best of all the Elite Specialists." Jared got up. "I need to get going, I think I'm going to go directly to Stevens to see about the surveillance records since I'm in no mood to deal with the bureaucracy to get them." Jared bowed slightly and left Sandra's quarters, he hadn't gotten very far with a chime indicating he had a new message sounded. Without stopping he pulled out his hand held computer and retrieved the message. Moments later he did stop, well, well, well. Sandra was right. Jared immediately contacted Stevens. "What is it Jared?" "Kiva has located what she believes is Blaine's hideout. I need a full assault team to meet her in one hour." "Done. I don't care where you yank the team from I'll give this mission top priority." Stevens took a moment to send Jared the authorization. "Anything else?" Stevens asked when he was done. "Issue a warrant to arrest a citizen named Elos I'm sending you the details. I could do it when I get back but I'd rather it goes out immediately since once Elos gets wind of what's going down they'll vanish." "Got it I'll have Zach get on that immediately. Stevens out." Jared pulled up the records of the locations of the assault teams, finding one that was the closest and would cause the least disruption when pulled from their current assignment. Then he sent the order for them to meet him in transport room number four in fifty minutes. He took another moment to shoot off a message to Kiva that he would be at the specified location in one hour with a full assault team. Finished he headed towards the weapons locker to switch into full body armor. Blaine was likely to have all sorts of defenses and security in place and his usual light armor just wouldn't do. Finally fifty minutes later he was facing the team that had assembled. Jared took less than five minutes to explain who the target was and who they were looking for and one other thing. "One final thing to remember, once we arrive you are to follow Kiva's and Daego's orders without question. Their orders are absolute. Kiva is in command here. Understood?" Jared waited until they all nodded indicating that they did. "Good, then lets get going. And remember we want them alive, Blaine has a lot to answer for." Jared turned to the transport technician who at a nod opened up a door to the specified location. Without hesitation Jared went through the door, closely followed by the assault team.

To Hells: Please don't... While I don't really have a problem with alluding to sex, or even in-depth depictions like DB does, (And I know Indifference is capable of *cough* MAZE *cough*) this RP seems too light-hearted to have all the sex. God knows that since the rating system was used, there's hardly any RPs that don't have the "S Tag," plastered on the front of it. And while most of those RPs never actually need the S because they never use it, I know of at least 2 (and I'm guessing more) people who would willingly turn this RP from the light-hearted fun thing I signed up for into some bad role-playing porn... I don't mind make-outs, I don't mind people ending posts with things like "They entered [Insert Name]'s room and closed the door behind them to insure their privacy." (Not that that's a good example, but I'm tired) And etc. But maybe I'm just being bitchy, eh, whatever, but I've never been one to take part in writing sex. (That's just too weird) And you could definately count me out for this RP just because of the simple fact that I'm a guy and my character is a straight female... That's a bit awkward writing sex scenes anyway, so I'll just stay out. (Not that I wouldn't anyway.) Okay I'm getting redundant and I'm starting to rant... (too late)
I'm sure it goes without saying that you were most definitely not one of the two I was referring to Darren. ;) And yeah I agree, I don't mind innuendos or implications. But beyond that. No thanks. I rather like the style of implying it but nothing else. And believe me it's pretty easy to imply a lot without ever including anything in the story. Or rather anything that's too descriptive.
As for the sex thing, it's true, this rp is meant to be fairly light-hearted - but that's where the old saying 'sex is comedy' comes in XD
Nothing wrong with comedy and the idea of you actually managing innuendo's with out the rather graphic follow up is an interesting concept that I'm curious to see. lol Oh and Darren that graphic of beating a dead horse was perfect. lol

I take it back DB you've got more than one here that's painful to watch. It must be your charm that attracts them.

don't worry, I didn't start writing, and won't till the dead hours. I would like to give a warning though - to all people who are planning any sort of lesbian relationships - rememer who you're RPing with O_O XD Just a fair warning... :catgirl:
Duh DB, I think most of us have seen enough of your comments to know exactly who we are RPGing with.
WOW, lesbians. DB this RP is utter gold. GOLD do you hear me?! Yes! l am read to get goin people, yee-haw! I think DB means around 3 A.M. believe me, it gets empty then.
I swear Prem, watching you at times is damn painful.
Anywho, boys aren't what i meant, I was talking about myself >_> being the big fan of lesbianism that I am, though honestly, I'm waiting with baited breath for the 2 gay relationships that have to happen (not between certain characters, I just know we'll have at least one per gender. If Clurr's character turns out to be straight, by god, joe will turn out gay faster than I can snap my fingers XD)
I think it's a given that if the players don't add some form of sex that you will DB. Obviously. Just don't forget the rating you gave this RPG. Not that you can't request that it gets changed, but don't be surprised if I smack you for it. Anyway, that does bring up a point for my character. I'd watch the tagging for relationship type encounters since Vanyel's likely to set someone on fire if they touch her in a manner she doesn't like. Not that she won't eventually thaw out, but right now she's still far from trusting. Don't get me wrong, I don't object to the idea, only that it wouldn't fit her current state of mind. :p

Crystia had expected to be tossed into a cell and honestly she really didn't care if she was. It couldn't possibly be any worse than living as a terrorist had been. She had most certainly not expected Grape Ape to simply hand back her mod rod and set her lose in the complex. It was to be frank puzzling. But then when she had been attacked by Gavin for an instant she wondered if not putting her in a cell to be briefed had been intentional, that in spite of her wish to leave her life as a terrorist behind they would kill her anyway. But then Grape Ape had interfered and stopped Gavin. Something that relieved her as she had not wanted to fight with him or attempt to talk to him either. Crystia doubted that he would believe her side of the story. She was not the one who blew his cover, she had already known. She had realized it shortly after contacting Mother, during the investigation. She had spent most of the week looking for ways to keep him from being exposed. Crystia had tried to use I'm Not Noruma's mistakes to pin the blame on them instead. It had almost worked, until Sephiroth claimed he had found evidence in Gavin's computer. There was nothing she could do except leave as she had already been planning. She stood in the room she had been assigned to, both Gavin and Throne, her new roommate having already left. There wasn't much too it, a small desk two small chests and a type of army bunk bed set. Crystia sighed. I guess I'd better wait and let Throne decide which bed he wants. She didn't want to start yet another fight. She walked over and peeked out the window, the view one of a tiny garden and pond down below. Did I make a mistake? She wondered. No. The mistake was joining the terrorists in the first place, for believing them when they said the slaughter of my brother was due to the CTU standing by and doing nothing. How long had it been? Two years. Almost two years since a random shooting claimed the life of her brother right before her eyes. Shortly after she had been approached by one of the terrorists, Crystia had believed their lies that the CTU knew about the impeding attack and did nothing to protect the innocent people in the area. But with each terrorist attack, with each slaughter she began to question their methods. Her brother, she was certain, would have been horrified to learn what she had done since then. Even if the CTU had stood by and done nothing, he would never have condoned such violent acts. Crystia was wondering what to do next when the sound of footsteps entering the room caught her attention. She turned to face the door. It was Throne, carrying some duffel bags along with a half eaten turkey sandwich. Without a word he tossed the bags on the bottom bunk bed and then set his sandwich down on one of the chests before opening the top drawer. Then he paused and stopped turning towards her. "I didn't think to ask you, but I do you have a preference as to which bunk to use?" Crystia shook her head. "No, I do not." Throne gestured to the one he had placed his bags on even as he picked one up and opened it to start putting things away, "Then I'll take that one." Throne finished putting the contents of one bag away and then reached for the other. "Where are your things?" "I don't have any." "Well that's a problem, you're going to need something to sleep in as well as a change of clothes to wear while one is being washed." Throne paused as the sound of someone knocking at the door. "Come in." It was Mother, carrying a small bag. "Ah, there you are Crystia." She walked over and thrust the bag into her hands. "I noticed that you didn't have anything so I found you some pajamas as well as couple of basic uniforms to use. I figured that going back for your things was out of the question." "Thank you." Crystia stammered. "Oh you're welcome." Mother smiled. "If you need anything just let me know okay?" She waited until Crystia nodded before hurrying off. Crystia looked into the bag, in addition to the clothing Mother had included some very basic things like shampoo, soap, a comb for her hair and a few other things. Crystia pulled out a clean uniform and set the rest of the stuff on the top bunk. Then she took what she needed and headed into the tiny bathroom to take a shower. Even if the other terrorists didn't like to bathe, she had always preferred to be clean. ***** OOC: By the way Gavin, I've never seen MIB, the Animated Series, so I've no idea what K's persona is like.

Vanyel had not expected to find Joe so quickly or for him to confirm that he could pick up on her thoughts. For a split second she had felt the first stirrings of panic until she realized even if he could pick up on hers she could not hear anything he was thinking. And in the end, that was all she cared about. Other people's thoughts were painful, shrill and often so loud that until she finally figured out how to block them, there were times when she couldn't tell which thoughts were hers and which were others. And some of them, even now the memory of how cold and horrible some people's thoughts were was enough to give her an occasional nightmare. Still, if he could hear them, who else could? Vanyel had thought that her shield for a lack of a better word was good enough. Obviously she was wrong. Curious about this Esper Hall as he called it she asked him a question. Something she rarely did. Most of the time Vanyel preferred it if someone else did the talking since she never knew what to say. And moments later he obliged her by explaining more. Vanyel was still wondering just what to do when he handed her a map, explained that someone named Shiana was available if she needed assistance and then he quite literally vanished. Shocked she just sat there. You can teleport yourself? The most she could do was move something that weighed around five pounds. Any bigger or heavier and she simply couldn't do it. She looked down at the map, briefly watching the red dot and then taking notice of the names of the different places in the building. Sure enough there was a community laundry room, a cafeteria and even a tiny room with her own name printed on it. And her eyes couldn't help but stop at a room marked library. I wonder if they have any fantasy novels? She had a few of her favorites with her as she never got tired of reading them. But to have access to more? Torn she sat there, still looking at the map. She didn't understand why they would let her stay here. After all she had no means to pay for anything. Her education was at best spotty. By the time she ran away from the last foster home she had been in she had only learned the most basic of math and reading. If not for using public libraries in the winter to sleep in as well as helping herself to the fantasy novels to read, she probably wouldn't even be able to read the very map he had given her. And she hadn't written something in years and years. She'd never needed to. Still...if she did stay, she wouldn't have to hunt for places to steal food from, or find people to take money from. And she wouldn't have to use her power to steal the key to the showers in truck stops to get cleaned up. And most of all, even if someone like Joe could easily teleport around the lock to her bedroom door, she would have her own spot to call her own. Vanyel had not missed the tiny bookshelf in her room. It implied that she could have her own books if she wanted. Confused, Vanyel got up and left the office, heading towards the spot marked cafeteria, noticing how the you are here dot moved with her. Well that's useful. She thought. That will make finding things a hell of a lot easier. A moment later the dot Joe had indicated was Shiana appeared not to far from her. "Excuse me." Vanyel called out. The woman turned to face her. "Ah, you must be Vanyel, what did you need?" "I was wondering how one signs up for the classes?" Vanyel asked hesitantly. "Well there's always someone around in the cafeteria who can direct you to one. What did you want to start with?" "Teleporting," Vanyel paused for a moment, feeling embarrassed at her ignorance since she figured they probably thought she was already educated. "I don't really know how to write either." She finally finished. Shiana just gave her a knowing look, "Homeless were you? Relax! You aren't the first Esper to end up with out a place of their own due to their powers." She smiled kindly. "For teleporting just go out to the front of the building, there's almost always some sort of class being held there. To sign up for basic education classes, just go to the library. In addition to being able to check out books to take to your room for studying, the librarian can set you up for basic reading, writing and math classes. Anything else?" Vanyel shook her head negatively. "Well if you think of anything just come and find me." And with that, just as Joe had done she vanished, the dot appearing elsewhere on the map. Vanyel continued to the cafeteria and then once she had gotten something from the person overseeing it she found a table back in a corner to eat. Warily watching everyone as she ate the food, making no attempt to talk to anyone who was there. Then she took the small plate and glass back to the person who had given her the food and politely thanked them before leaving to head for the library. As much as she wanted to learn how to teleport herself, she wanted to see just what was available to read. As well as signing up for the classes offered there. She could decide if she wanted to leave or stay after she found out more. It wasn't like she could leave anyway, even if she found where the bus was parked, she didn't know how to drive it.

indifference was beginning to wonder if the traitor affair was finally going to be finished. With a sigh of relief she left the terrorist headquarters to head for her appointment. She had been worried that she would miss it altogether. It was a pity that things had not turned out as she had planned. Still it did not matter, soon that would be behind her. In no time she was finally to the meeting place, a very nervous Mother waiting patiently for her. indifference as always looked carefully for any signs that someone had detected that they had been meeting for over a week but other than a man wearing dark glasses, and eating waffles and some other members enjoying breakfast food at a quick stop near the OtakuBoards Newspaper thread. Nothing was amiss. "Ah, indifference," Mother said apprehensively , "I was beginning to wonder if you really were going to show up." "Unfortunately I was delayed," indifference replied. "Still it won't be long before Charlie realizes what I am up to. The sooner we leave the better. It's too exposed here in the OB Anthology and I do not want to end up like 2007DigitalBoy and Preminition." Mother nodded sadly. "Then lets get going then." It didn't take them long to get to CTU headquarters but before they could quite reach the main doors the alarms went off. "Oh dear," Mother said. "I was afraid of that, Ploppy's been feeling pretty bad since the traitor got away. Ploppy's been practically glued to the surveillance cameras to keep an eye out for further problems." A moment later the intercom to the entrance of the CTU came to life. "Hold it right there you terrorist scum! Get away from Mother!" Only moments later agents poured out of the building, some of them pulling out their mod-rods as they moved to cut them off. indifference sighed and pulled out her own, placing her right arm across Mother's shoulders. The mod rod held carelessly in her hand. "Allow me to take care of this," she whispered to Mother. "Don't worry, I won't harm you." Then placing her right thumb just over the ban button she yelled out. "Either you stop right there or I'll ban your precious Mother!" The agents came to a reluctant halt, glaring at her. "You do anything to harm mother..." Gurt started to say.. "Shut up." indifference growled. "I came here to talk to Grape Ape. Once he comes forth and talks to me you can have your precious Mother back. Now back inside all of you." Reluctantly they complied piling into the front room just inside the main doors with indifference and Mother following closely behind them. Then once the doors were shut indifference spoke up again. "Now, bring me Grape Ape!" Moments later Grape Ape charged into the main room. "What's the meaning of this indifference! Hiding behind Mother like the coward you truly are? Let her go!" indifference shrugged. "Fine." She removed her arm from across Mother's shoulder and put her mod rod away. "I only wanted to get inside the building before talking to you. I had no intention of harming Mother. But I had no desire to be shot in the back while discussing things out front either." She paused for a moment and then continued. "It's simple I wish to defect, to join the CTU." indifference just smiled inwardly at the gasps of surprise as well as Grape Ape's stunned expression. ---------------------------- OCC: Before anyone picks up on this...Aaryanna_Mom is going to post to cover the next part. So please, wait for her post.

Finally! indifference had been beginning to wonder what had happened to her fellow terrorists. It was troubling that it took them so long to finally speak up. Even if I'm Not Noruma was not the traitor, she knew that it would have been only a matter of time until they did betray them. She had proof that I'm Not Noruma had already been considering betraying them. "I see that you're still trying to play innocent I'm Not Noruma, but even if you were this intelligence that was forwarded by none other than Grape Ape proves it that your loyalty was questionable. You think they did it to cause problems. I think they realized that you were no longer useful or that you were a pathetic terrorist to begin with." indifference displayed the information for everyone to see:
[14:27] KazuwaNomura: How's your job-life going for you? And another question...Why were you even talking with the leader of our enemy in the first place? I believe that the traitor is indeed you." indifference looked around yet again. "A true terrorist would have never admitted to which thread they placed their bomb in. A true terrorist would have rather died for the cause than take a bribe or to even consider it. Also, your claims to be loyal are false claims. Your attempts to assassinate both Dagger and James failed as both of them are still living. Coincidence? I think not. At any rate, I suppose it is time for our leader Charles to decided just who is truly guilty and deal with them." Once again she leaned back and waited. Charles would settle things. He would make sure that the traitor as well as any would be traitors were dealt with. I hope he does it soon though. She had plans for something else later that day and she didn't want to miss the traitor being fed to the Beast.

I find it funny how indiff's char seems better at being homeless than Wet's. His needs to take lessons from hers lol. all of you were great. I find it funny how most of them seem to be at least slightly emo - that can only lead to hijinks :animesmil
Heh, well I do have a lot of fictional as well as real life examples to use. Trust me, there are more quirks to her personality that'll come out as things progress. As for being slightly emo. Feh, that's really not a term I'm into since that became a thing after I was no longer a teenager. You'd have to actually tell me how she's slightly emo since I made no attempt to make her like that. lol Anyway...just a note for the other players with characters who can read minds, hear thoughts, etc. Vanyel can keep people out so any thoughts heard won't be hers. For the simple reason she keeps people out as well as keeping herself in. She figured out how to essentially shield her mind. However, for someone like Joe, if he can use telepathy, her 'shield' is far from perfect so I would imagine he could hear her if he really wanted to. Just wanted to be clear on that. Also, it goes both ways, she won't be hearing the other student's thoughts either. That only happens when she's really stressed. Anyway...should be interesting once we get going. Especially with how wacky you can be DB.

If Vanyel had known where the bus was going, she would have never gotten on it. She had been doing as she always did, skipping town. No matter how hard she tried, Vanyel always ended up needing to move on. Once the kids or gangs in any given town realized that she was homeless she inevitably became a target. It was either move to a new place or wake up to realize that they had found her hiding place and hope to hell that she could get away without having to... She sighed as she opened up the tiny backpack that she had. Everything she owned was in it. A few changes of clothes, a pretty black dress that she had stolen but never wore. A handful of books and a small portable cd player and some classical cd's, all of it stolen. If they weren't in the middle of nowhere she would have already left. The person who took them around the other day acted as if they had wanted to come here, as if it was somehow meant to be. But all she had done was take advantage of a bus with other kids to sneak on. Vanyel had quickly learned that the best way to move around was to stick with other kids since the bus driver always assumed they were together. She'd used that trick a lot as well as using her small ability to teleport something to steal the money to pay for a bus ticket. Vanyel had thought it was taking her to another part of town or to the next one. Not to this place. Carefully she pulled out her only clean outfit. She had already taken advantage of the restroom to clean up before going to bed last night. She took a moment to toss on a pair of blue jeans and a plain shirt. I wonder if they have a laundry mat? Vanyel hated being dirty and usually every couple of days she would wash what she owned at one of the laundry mats in the area. I guess I'll have to ask. She finished pulling out her stuff and put it away in the top drawer of a tiny chest next to the bed with a lamp on it. Then, after using her only comb to get the tangles out of her hair she resolved to try and figure out just what the hell was going on. That and she kind of hoped they'd give her something to eat. By now she would have already used her ability to steal something to eat. But if she remembered correctly the person who showed her around along with the others had indicated that the bus to this place only went into town once a week. And it was definitely too far to simply walk there. Vanyel had seen nothing else once the bus had left the town and she had no clue where they kept the food in this place. Vanyel finished with her hair and then left her temporary room to try and hunt for the person who had showed them around, Joe was his name if she remembered correctly. She hadn't really taken any notice of the others, she'd been too tired to care. But as she started to head down the hallway, she stopped. Vanyel didn't have a clue as to where she should even go. Now what? For a moment she started to panic until the sight of someone at the end of the hall caught her attention. Instantly she switched to her indifferent facade. Taking a stance as if she didn't have a care in the world, a tactic that she had learned out of necessity during her years on the streets. Vanyel continued walking down the hallway, picking a direction to take at random. She was sure to find food eventually if she kept looking. She ignored everyone that she saw, looking for Joe. She figured that if anyone knew what the hell she was suppose to do it would be him. He had shown her to her room after all.

indifference just laughed. "So you would have us believe that you were a traitor and now you are not? You did just say that you wouldn't give up any more information. Seems to me that you've simply become useless to the CTU." She looked at the others, "Have the rest of you nothing to say in your defense? I'm sure that the Beast would be pleased to feast on all of you before the day is through." indifference folded her arms across her chest and leaned back against the closest wall. "So far I've yet to hear anything that convinces me that any of you are trustworthy. The longer each of you remains silent the more convinced I become that none of you are innocent." The silence was deafening. indifference pushed away from the wall and gathered her things yet again. "I'm going out again. Waiting for all of you to actually speak up is a waste of my time as well as our leaders when it could be spent on his glorious cause." A moment later indifference had left again. Maybe today she'd actually find a CTU member to deal with. If there was one thing she had learned, it was that they excelled at hiding. Cowards.

You can count me out, since I never had anything to do with either group. I did voice out my opinions at the Complaint, though.
Heh, Other than Zeke I don't remember who else was even in that group. Well besides the obvious thread starter and others who replied. But people took that 'MAMA' bit out of their signatures so fast that in no time other than those who posted...I don't recall who else was a part of it. Though everyone I listed did become a mod with a few weeks of that thread being posted. You could even counter argue that it had the opposite effect since the call for my removal as a mod coincided with my promotion to Category Moderator only a few days after the thread was posted. But again, I'll argue that that's what's known as a coincidence. lol -
Who here has a journal? (No not a blog of sorts.)
Horendithas replied to Domon's topic in General Discussion
I've never had one, not even an online blog or rather the 'blog' I have done is sporadic and hardly qualifies as a blog in any sense. It's rather ironic since I've had pretty little notebooks for writing a journal given to me but each and everyone of them is blank. Still sitting on my shelves back at my parents house. Probably about the only thing I do have that resembles a journal is one where I've gone through periods where I write down the dreams I've had and then analyze them. But that's also related to work and dealing with patients who suffer from nightmares. Otherwise I probably wouldn't even bother and most of the time I don't. Well unless the dream is pretty strange. The rest I don't even bother with. And since I don't have strange dreams very often I have less than fifty typed up. -

Which members became Moderators as a direct result of these actions? It's news to me and I'm the one who authorizes all new staff appointments. That part might be best left out, because I don't think it's accurate. lol
I think he's referring to Eziekel and Sandy since both of them were not mods when the Complaint thread was posted but became one shortly after that thread went up. Though they could have meant other members who became mods as well. Since there's also Blayze, Jokopoko and Ikillion who became mods around that time. Still.... I do believe that's what's known as a coincidence. Instead of them getting modship due to the complaint. lol -
indifference just looked at The Boss as if he had grown two heads. Introductions? Feeding the beast the traitor's blood was more important than introductions. "Forget introductions, how about the rest of you speak up as to who you think the traitor is? Unless your silence is an indication that we should simply feed all three to the Beast? I'm of the opinion that the traitor is indeed I'm Not Nomura, but so far only The Boss has even come forward and stated that they too think this is the case." She shook her head in disgust. "What happened to your passion and dedication to the cause? Am I the only one eager to feed the fool who betrayed us to the Beast?" indifference looked around at all who were gathered there. Some meeting her gaze while others looked away. "This is pathetic." indifference picked up a few things to get ready to leave. "Instead of sitting here waiting for all of you to finally speak up I'm going to go out and further our leader's glorious cause. I sincerely hope that by the time I return someone else has voiced what they believe. Otherwise, my vote will be to simply do all three in. If they are too cowardly to speak up in their defense, then obviously they are not true terrorists." Then without a word she left the complex to go and either add to the war in the Art Studio or to find some helpless CTU member to strangle with her bare hands. Either one would do.

Jared was almost to the first transport room when a chime sounded indicating there was an new message for him. He paused to open it up and retrieve the message. It was from William and attached was a copy of the very same video that had been sent to Darren. He took another moment to send back a short reply thanking him for forwarding the information and that he would look into it. Then once that was sent he continued on his way. Not even bothering to stop and change into any type of body armor since he doubted that he would run into any problems. That and he always wore a very lightweight armor under his uniform. If he couldn't take a squad, the extra armor would only weigh him down. And in truth he wasn't expecting too much trouble. Things were getting ugly in other sectors, but not in sector one. He did have a small disruptor with him and after checking briefly to make sure it was set on stun, he gave the transport technician the information necessary to send him right in front of the building where public terminal that had been used was located. Jared didn't care if protocol required that he transport down to a designated area. He was in no mood to work his way through the crowds or to deal with any troublemakers. Especially since according to the data, it was actually inside an exclusive bar. One that was known for being extremely picky about just who they would let in. And the surrounding area wasn't much better. Jared paused for a moment to forward a message to Kiva, to inform her of his intent. He included a copy of the video as well as all the data of how it had been sent and what the computer specialist on the Creator had found by examining it. The specialist on the Creator was good, but Kiva was better and she might find something in the data that the specialist had missed. Then he included the information that so far, all of the trip destinations she had sent him in regards to Elos were being checked even as the message was sent. He had been in the process of assigning people to that task when Darren had contacted him. Finally the message sent, Jared nodded to the technician in the transport room who opened the door. A split second later he was in front of the building, a huge set of double doors with two heavily built men standing on each side. If they were surprised by his appearance they were hiding it well. Jared ignored them and immediately moved to enter the building. "Hold it." One of them barked. "Just where do you think you're going pal?" Jared glanced at him contemptuously. "Fool, go back and try to actually pass your exams in basic education. If you fail to recognize the insignia of the second in command of the Creator then obviously you were too busy sleeping instead of paying attention during class." Reddening in anger the man took a step towards Jared, "Don't get smart with me, anyone could make up a uniform and toss it on. How do I know that you actually are who you claim to be?" Jared just laughed, "Lets get one thing straight, if any fool was running around impersonating me I'd gut him myself. But if it makes your tiny little brain feel any better, my name is Jared Waldo Scorer, go ahead, use your hand held computer if you actually know how and check the public records." Jared frowned a bit, "You'd better be quick though, or else I'll toss you in prison for hindering an investigation." Jared just smiled inwardly when the man paled at the mention of his name. What an idiot. Impersonating an officer of the Military is a crime punishable by death. Still Jared didn't like it. He could just stun both of them and enter, but then who ever ran the place would be likely to attempt to give him grief and he didn't have time for that or the resources at the moment to actually counter it if they did. But in the end it was unnecessary. "Right," the man said when he had finished checking the public records. "Uh, yeah, don't take it personal sir, but we get some pretty whacked out people around here. Go on in. Larry the bartender can take care of any questions you have, I've gone ahead and messaged him that you're here." "Good," Jared said before entering the building. Even though it was midday it was full of people and other than a few side glances at his uniform most of them ignored him as he made his way over to the bar. He looked around as he did so but didn't see any public terminals. Which meant they were probably somewhere else. With a sigh he approached the only man who was serving drinks. "You must be Larry." "And you must be Jared," He immediately answered. "What can I do for you sir?" "I need to talk to whoever is in charge since I will require access to your surveillance of the public computer terminals here." "Ah, that would be me actually since I'm the co-owner of this place." Larry replied. He motioned to one of the girls, "Hey Tess, take over for me for a bit okay?" Larry opened up one of the panels to the counter to admit Jared and motioned to the door leading elsewhere behind the bar. Passing through the small kitchen area until they finally came to a small office. One wall was a huge screen with multiple shots displaying things in the bar. Including an enclosed area that had two terminals in it. "That's the two public terminals that we have for our customers. I can give you access sir, but may I ask what for?" "No you may not, however if you require authorization I can provide you with that." "If you would sir, after all such records, even though they are the property of my establishment are considered private to a certain extent." Jared just smiled. He pulled out his hand held computer and pulled up the authorization the High Council had given him for the investigation. Even if they were under house arrest, since it was a different matter, the codes he had been given were still valid. A moment later, he prepared the formal request for the video records and copied it to a data chip. Then he gave the chip to Larry who sat down, put it into his terminal and accessed it. "Got it, sir. Just give me a moment and I'll open the files up for you." Larry quickly input the codes to bring up the menu for the surveillance. "There did you need me to find something? Or did you prefer to do it yourself?" "I will do it myself." Jared replied. Larry got up, "Got it, if you need anything else just let me know." Jared waited until he left to sit down and start looking through the files. It took him no time at all to find the footage of the person who had sent the video to both Darren and William. It was none other than Andris Raster, the petty official that he had secured a confession from in regards to Blaine. Making it clear that he too was involved. That his disappearance was not due to being scared by the current situation with Erica and the High Council. Jared copied the data from the bar's system to his hand held computer. So he is involved. That fool. Finished Jared left and headed to where the computer terminals were, but whatever Andris had done to make it look like the transmission came from elsewhere must have been a program since nothing seemed to be amiss. Still. He placed a top level security hold on the terminal in case Kiva wished to come down and examine the data herself. Once he finished that Jared explained to Larry that no one was to use the terminal, not that they could since he had locked it, but it would be better if people left it alone. Jared also told Larry that if anyone saw Andris again he was to contact Jared immediately. Then after he left the bar, before he called for a transport door he sent everything he had found out to Kiva, making sure to include the footage from the surveillance at the bar. As well as including the access code to the security lock he had placed on the computer terminal. If she didn't need to examine it he could always unlock it after Kerstin and Daniel were found. Then once that was sent he requested a transport door and stepped through once it appeared.

I'm pretty sure my dog beats everyone else's dog in the cute category.
*looks at your dog and then at Aaryanna* Nope, no deal. Though cute, Aaryanna wins. :p I kid, they're both cute. As for myself, I'm too allergic to pets, we had a cat when I was a kid and we ended up having to find another home for it since my allergies couldn't take it. She was a cute little tabby cat though and I was sorry that we had to give her up. Though I hear that breeds like Bichon's don't shed or produce dander, making them ideal for people with allergies. So once I finish school, start working and get my own place, perhaps I'll get something like that. Well once I find some way to get exposed first, to see if what I've heard really is true. I'd hate to get one only to have to find it another home as well.

DB, Shy did mention retooling the articles. And that's really a good idea since like you mentioned, you would change the one on the Panopiticon to include all three of the death card series. By retooling them they would be a different entry, he wasn't talking about literally copying and pasting them into Otakupedia. lol So it's really a great idea to semi-combine the two. It's not like everything that is written would end up over in Otakupedia, but stuff like the death card rpg are perfect to be re-written and turned into an entry for Otakupedia as well. Revelation hit on it as well, using the articles would also be great for adding to existing ones. Take Rachmaninoff's entry. At the time his RPG the Maze was current, it certainly wouldn't hurt to update it to show that it finished successfully.

Anyway...I too found the part with Jared surprising. Are you sure he's not sick indifference? :p It sounds like Blaine is stealing the show for being a mean bastard instead of Jared. lol Still it was fun to read. I felt bad for Darren though.
Nope he's not sick. ;) But A_M is right in that Jared doesn't get it. Though he is pretty angry about Kerstin since like Crystal he likes her. As a friend of course, she is a woman after all. I can say this much though, Blaine had better hope that Kiva gets to him first, if not, Jared will make sure he regrets kidnapping Kerstin. Besides, Jared's still a meanie as you put it. But this RPG is rated PG so there's no need to go into detail as to how he amuses himself is there? I've certainly hinted at it enough. :p

indifference looked at the remaining questions, displeased that one of their members had failed to answer the last set. Was it because they were a traitor and afraid to answer and therefore reveal who they were? "I agree with you Sakura for some of your deductions, but not for all of them. Even though our leader Charles told us to dismiss that pm that Grape Ape sent us, the one that clearly showed I'm Not Nomura, giving away the location of a bomb. For that reason number two is most likely them since they have admitted that they did indeed aid our enemy without meaning to." She paused to make sure she had the others attention and then continued. "However, suspect one is Raiha and Gavin is suspect three. Suspect one clearly said in one of their answers: I joined the second after Sandy, the little fairy beat me to the punch. And if you look in this thread here: Sign Up They did indeed sign up immediately after Sandy did." "The only question now is just who is the traitor out of the three? I'm inclined to believe that it is either I'm not Nomura or Raiha." indifference thought about what she had just said but something was not right. She pulled up all the notes she had and then it hit her. I'm Not Nomura had mistakenly sent one of their replies to the questions to her and not to Charles. I'm Not Nomura was indeed suspect number three and Gavin was number two. And I'm Not Nomura was the only one who had not answered the remaining questions. "I have something else to say here. I've changed my mind. Suspect one is Raiha, Suspect two is Gavin and Suspect three is I'm Not Nomura. That incompetent fool sent the answers to me by mistake once, it's been long enough that I had forgotten. Also, by failing to answer the last question, it makes them look like they are trying to hide something from the rest of us. Leading me to believe that they are the traitor that we are looking for." "However, there is also the problem that Gavin has not been around or online since the last set of questions was posted, so how could he have gotten his answers in? Either Gavin is trying to confuse us or somehow I'm Not Nomura got a hold of Gavin's answer's and sent them to me to make him look guilty instead. What are your thoughts on this my fellow terrorists?."
