2. Since they would be working together in sector one, both Jared and Sandra were going over the plans for when they arrived. Sandra had already given Darren a list of the required functions that he had to attend so that he would be prepared for them. Normally Sandra found such things distasteful, even though politically they were expected, but in this case by following through it would again be making it clear that the High Council's decision in promoting Darren to the shipping expert position was final. "You're sure you want to do this?" Jared asked Sandra. "I know how much you hate attending any type of social function. Especially when it's nothing more than a bunch of pompous fools showing off their power and authority. And I'm positive that Darren has no interest either." "I'm quite sure. As much as I find such functions distasteful, if we are to end the ripples of discontent we must be clear in our support of the newest shipping expert." Sandra grimaced. "As much as I'd rather gut each and everyone of them, many of them in spite of being stuck up jackasses have nothing to do with the few who are causing trouble. And frankly, this isn't the first time that they've tried to undermine the Council's authority so replacing them is long overdue." "I agree, many of them have become too comfortable with the power they wield, believing themselves to be above it when they are not." Jared leaned back in the chair across from Sandra's desk in her quarters and continued with a mischievous grin. "But what has me surprised is that you are actually willing to wear formal dress for a candidate for the High Council and be Darren's escort to show support." Jared paused dramatically, "And here I remember you telling me that the day you were expected to wear that outfit was the day you told the Council just where they could shove it. I had no idea that there was someone who you would wear it for." He teased her, laughing when she blushed a bit. "Jared!" She sputtered. "That's not why...I..." She glared at him a bit before laughing as well. "That's not why I agreed to do it and you know it. A number of the politicians have been getting out of hand for quite sometime now and even if," she gave Jared a stern glance, "the Council hadn't asked me to take Darren under my wing so to speak while he settles in, I would have willingly worn that damn outfit to put an end to some of the nonsense they've been up to lately." Jared just grinned. "I know, but seeing that I can tell you actually do like Darren, from a professional standpoint," he said with a wink, "I just had to remind you of what you told me when you first became a candidate and saw the dress. Your language was pretty colorful if I remember correctly." Sandra turned and looked at the view of space as they traveled since it was quite different when they were in hyper space. "I know" she finally said. "But that was because I had no intention of wearing it to attend a function with Stevens." She did not like the way it was made. It was a beautiful dress in silver and blue, with shimmering blue silk that glittered with bits of silver. But the front with the low neckline made seeing down the dress too easy and Stevens was a pervert. She knew perfectly well where his eyes would be during a dance. She turned back to Jared. "But that's irrelevant. I won't be going with Stevens. He may be at some of the functions but I won't be required to deal with him and though you will be there, you are more interested in Darren so dealing with you won't be an issue either." "True, as much as I do on some level admire women who are beautiful, it's more like appreciating art than thinking about whether or not to ask them to dance. Besides, I'll be responsible for the security so I won't be paying much attention to the other stuff going on." Jared sat up straight again. "Well now that we are clear on that. I'll get to work on arranging the security for the list of functions you gave me that the two of you will be attending. And since I assume that Kerstin will be attending, I will see to her security as well." "You assume correctly. You will need to check out her escort as well and if she doesn't have one, I'm sure that you can take care of that duty, after all, since she's a woman. She won't be a distraction for you." Sandra teased. Jared just laughed. "Of course not, but seeing her with me will be a horrible distraction for Darren." Sandra frowned a bit. "I hadn't thought of that." She shrugged. "Oh well, it can't be helped. Their safety is more important than whether or not it might bother Darren if you escort his sister." Jared got up, "I agree. Now if there's nothing else Sandra, I'll get started on selecting the teams for the security." He bowed and then left her quarters. In a way he hoped that Kerstin's escort didn't pass security. It would definitely be fun to see how Darren reacted to him escorting her. Jared smiled to himself as he headed towards his quarters. All the stuff that would be going on in sector one was definitely going to be fun.
 3.
Most minors that smoke are influenced by friends, not movies or television. You can't blame everything on Hollywood. ;)
I agree. Honestly, even if they get the idea from watching a movie, the minor still makes the choice to go and find a way to be able to smoke. And in the end I remember having friends trying to pressure me into smoking more than any movie ever did. I never did smoke, but I don't even remember seeing a movie and thinking, oh that guy smokes, I should to! Besides, like it's been mentioned, it's not like it isn't fairly common knowledge on how harmful smoking is. For some minors seeing actors they like smoking is a turn off instead of an inspiration to go and start smoking.
 4.
James and Charles keep me locked up in a basement, I can't leave even if I wanted to :(
That explains a lot, and here I thought that I was just imagining things when I thought I heard strange noises around here when it's quiet. As for why I am here...like I said before stalking Des is too much fun to quit. ;)
 5.
Between waiting for Kiva to get to the point where Erica is exposed, along with finding out the other stuff Erica told Kiva, to all the crazy stuff on Reflection...This is definitely going to be fun! :catgirl:
And that doesn't include what I'll be throwing into the mix, what with my objective and all. Which is going to be lots of fun. And other than this comment that's all the hint you're going to get. *evil laughter*

 7. Jared decided that he would wait until they arrived in sector one to inform Darren that he would not be staying in the usual quarters set aside for the shipping expert for the High Council. Even though the location was close to where the High Council resided and had excellent security, he was concerned that those who had protested Darren being made the shipping expert were a serious problem. For them to go so far as to try to get their own people into the internal security forces made letting Darren stay on the home world too risky. Especially since their sole intent was to assassinate Darren. And Darren unlike others who moved in the higher social circles, did not have the connections nor the understanding of what to do to protect himself from such attempts. He was far to new to the game. Which was why the High Council had assigned him the task of not only protecting Darren but of tracking down those who were attempting to find a way to do him in. The changes Darren had made, as well as making it simple for the top executives of the three major shipping companies to be tried for treason, made him too valuable to lose carelessly to an assassination. From the royalties that Darren did not accept to helping cut down on illegal smuggling, to the recent ending of the profiteering going on due to the attacks. No single shipping expert had ever had such a profound impact on the economy of the Versilan empire. Jared wondered if Darren realized just how much money he had saved both the High Council and the military. Money that those who were corrupt were angry about since they felt like they had been cheated. It didn't matter to them that they were cheating the people or the government, some of the fools were unbelievably arrogant when it came to thinking they had a right to 'cheat' others. And once they arrived in sector one, Jared would make sure those who thought they could assassinate Darren would regret it. And ironically Darren's popularity with the regular people would make that task easier since a fair amount of those who would kill for money were not interested in such a high profile target. It still would be hard enough though. Since there were plenty of people, including Darren's own father who didn't care about the consequences. Blindly believing that eliminating Darren would somehow return things to how they were before. The fools failed to realize that to do so they would have to take over the High Council since the new protocols were there to stay. Even if Darren was gone, nothing would change. And that was something that the High Council had told him directly when they gave him the assignment. So in the end the petty disagreements and stupidity was pointless. Taking care of things was going to be fun since the High Council had already issued him the authority to deal with those who were involved. Jared smiled, it would be interesting to see what he uncovered as well as seeing their reaction when they realized that they had gone too far. In his opinion it was time to clean out some of the more corrupt politicians. It would only take a couple of examples to make the others realize that they had been far from smart. They should have taken the dismissal of their protests against Darren more seriously. In a way Jared was glad to have the files on those that were under suspicion. Using transport doors while in hyper space was not possible and until they arrived in sector one he could not visit the Conqueror, even though they were traveling together. So though he could speak to Stevens, they were for the moment unable to get together. And Jared liked to be busy. If he didn't have work to do then he always found some way to amuse himself. And without the work to be done, Darren would have been an irresistible temptation. But instead he had been focusing on making sure to go over the files completely. Jared smiled a bit, once he got to sector one there would be plenty to do. Between tracking down those responsible for attempting to get into position to kill Darren, to keeping on top of the security for Kerstin, even if she wasn't targeted, once they realized they couldn't get to Darren that would change. To spending time with Stevens to tormenting Darren... Jared would be anything but bored when they arrived in sector one. It would actually be quite a bit of fun and on top of that he was looking forward to meeting Kerstin. After keeping her informed and dealing with her. Jared found her rather carefree and forward manner entertaining. If nothing else it would be interesting to see just how Darren reacted to him talking to her. Jared smiled again. Being in sector one was definitely going to be fun.
 8.
The Hauler maze is a pain. I had to do it soooo many times and then I forgot to save. T_T So I had to do it a whole bunch more! It sucked. I don't remember how to do it anyways, I just remember that my Hauler went opposite directions of what I did.
There are a number of reasons why your Hauler would have gone the wrong way. Only the steady one obeys your commands and even then, if you're going to fast it decides which way it wants to go. The rest of them have quirks, including an Ill-Natured one that always goes in the opposite direction that you tell it too.
Back to the Albel thing. I have only 7 characters in my party. Or at least one extra space. So do I just go to the Urssa Lava Caves? Where are those by the way. I just got back into playing the game yesterday after about 7 or 8 months.
As for Albel, If you only have seven characters then you should be able to get him. The problem is whether or not you remember how to get to the
Urssa Lava Caves. A quick way to at least get you on the right path is to just out side of the Royal City of Airyglyph, there is a member of the dragon brigade there. If you approach him, he'll give you a ride to the Bequerel Mountain Path. You want to go up the path and enter the Mountains of Barr. Shortly up that path there is a cave underneath a water fall that goes inside the Barr Caves. Shortly after entering the caves there is a path that goes to the right. Take it. The entrance to the Ruins of Barr should be there, just head straight in the ruins to get to the Urssa Lava Caves and then pick the straight path again to get to where Croswell is. If you spoke to Woltar in the Mining Town of Kirlsa, then Albel should be in the cave with Croswell.
I'd head there and talk to Woltar first just to be sure. In the end you might have to wander around a bit to familiarize yourself with the area, but once you do you'll find him. Now I'm assuming that your group already has these characters:
Fayt, Cliff, Sophia, Maria, Mirage and Adray.
If you have seven characters and are missing one of those that I listed, then you are out of luck, since those six are default characters that you get no matter what. And the reason you can't find Albel is because you simply haven't reached the point in the game where the one you are missing automatically joins your party. Since both
Mirage and Adray
don't join until later in the game. Or rather one of them may not join you until you are headed towards the
Ancient Ruins of Mosel in order to head for the final area of the game.
Without knowing exactly where you are as far as the game goes. I can't really say for sure if you can get Albel or not.
 9. It would still take them a while to reach sector one, even with the clearance that military vessels had allowing them to simply pass through a sector unchallenged wouldn't make things that much quicker. Though by now Sandra was sure that the Transcendence had already arrived. Though the Tempest would still be on it's way. Still they would be there soon enough and at least the view in her quarters as they traveled was quite impressive. It was a pity she had no one to share it with. Not that she was lonely, but unlike Stevens and Jared, she did not jump in and out of bed with just anyone. Even if it was meaningless and only meant as a passing moment of pleasure. Sandra was, to her annoyance, a bit outdated in that respect. Sandra wanted more than that, but she was too use to being in charge and though the outdated notion that men were more capable had never been much of an issue among her people. The idea of sharing power was and both men and women were equally reluctant to be in a more equal relationship. But that was what bored her. Sandra liked the challenge of making a more balanced relationship work. She didn't want to be submissive or to be in charge. Sandra wanted someone who challenged her as she challenged them. She liked things that required effort since in the end they were far more rewarding. Sandra laughed at herself as she stood there watching the view of space as they traveled. It had been a while since she reflected on her lack of involvement with someone else. I wonder why I'm even thinking about this? She wondered. Maybe it was because even though she did find Jared attractive, she was not the type to throw herself at anyone. Or perhaps it was because knowing that Stevens and Jared were entertaining themselves, it reminded her that the betrothal between her and Stevens was empty and meaningless, a political tool and nothing else. When she wanted more than that. Even if she had a lover, they would never share the same power that she did, even if it was another member of the High Council. It would not be the same. There was something else that was bothering her too, an odd feeling that she had not been able to track down. And that was frustrating her as well. Because the last time she had felt like this it had been due to developing feelings for someone. And that also irritated her. Sandra sighed. For all their technological advances, when it came to caring for others they were in some ways every bit as primitive as the humans from Earth were. She laughed at the idea. Well not quite that bad. About the only good thing was she had finally gotten a handle on her irritation with Stevens. Sandra was still disgusted by him, but by doing those small things required for his position, he had quit making such a nuisance of himself. It was amazing what a simple bow of respect, even if one did not truly mean it, would do. Though she got the feeling that later he would make an issue of things. It's a pity I can't drug him and let him simply think he got what he wanted, she thought with a sigh. Though if she was lucky he would forget that he had told her he would have her one day. Once again she sighed, at least she would not have to carry their child. Even if most Versilan's considered carrying their child to term a special occasion, she had no intention of doing so. She did not want to feel connected to it at all. Then she sighed again. I'll be glad when we get to sector one, she thought. Since to much free time always had her thinking about things she would rather forget.
 10.
also, yeah, Davis is going to have one hell of a case of post-traumatic stress over this one :animesigh Also, indifference, this game must've kicked *** for you. Both your guys survived right up till the end, and one even won!
It's rather ironic actually, since in the first Labyrinth, I was the first to 'lose' a character. The very first one to die was mine. I kind of knew at that point I wasn't going to win and sure enough my other one was taken out as well. So to turn around and have both survive to the last round surprised the hell out of me. Though when Aaryanna_Mom killed off Lara I figured that lowered my chances greatly since that still left four other cards that could be used to kill Davis. And even then as I said, due to your gruesome post, which had me believing your character had died, I figured Aaryanna would use Eflair's ability to kill Davis not end up saving him and the rest of the universe. And that surprised me since what she did never crossed my mind. As for the characters, other than my own I rather liked Rebecca, so I killed her off since I didn't want to feel sorry for her later. lol And since I knew Deoky was not mine, once there were hints as to what he was like... I took liberties with that. I made sure he was one totally sick and evil bastard when I had him kill off both Vanya and Rebecca. And Aaryanna took that to a whole new level by having him totally clobber Davis and Lara. Helping to build the stance that would have people scrambling for the chance to kill him, provided I didn't get to it first. But Sandy beat me to it! *curses* Eflair sort of just grew on me since she was so weak, but she kept ending up creeping back in as people made her a powerful healer which was a nice contrast to the more obvious fighters like Clavis, Andrew and Deoky. In the end if mine had died I would have probably gone for either Eflair or Clavis to win. lol Especially since my hunch about Clavis turned out to be right. I was positive that he was either Aaryanna's or Aaryanna_Mom's character since I know they have access to pictures from the series he is from. The fact that they even used his name Clavis and that he is a guardian in the series Angelique cinched that fact. That and the picture they used is from the art book cover and it's a hard book to find. I know since I have it. ;) So it is ironic that 2007DigitalBoy created a evil warlord and Aaryanna_Mom a guardian without the other person knowing what they were doing. That was great fun. Since in my opinion their characters led to the others being developed more. Even poor Davis who was being used for his knowledge. He was the not so typical innocent caught in the middle. Instead of the more cliched must save the woman from the clutches of evil type of deal. lol Anyway, that was great fun. And like Aaryanna_Mom I loved how the cards were done and everyone making it to the end just made it even more fun since that just raised the stakes, leaving it open for anyone to finally win. And all the different stuff that ended up in it made it interesting if not a bit wacky. Mind control, sex, rape, violence, graphic battles and a baby no less! All of it made for a fun ride. So thanks for a very enjoyable and fun game Rachmaninoff. ;)

 12. I take it that Eflair was your character then? Since you say you were so close Sandy? Good lord, I can't believe that Aaryanna choose to let Davis live. After seeing what 2007DigitalBoy wrote I was convinced I was screwed. I love how you did her death though. It made her passing very powerful and meaningful. Showing that Eflair was anything but weak. And I can't say that I'm not surprised that 2007DigitalBoy killed off the kid. *snicker* I figured he'd do that. And turning Davis into a monster like that was rather interesting. And the sheer gruesomeness was rather interesting. lol Anyway... I hope all of you like the final post. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I know that what Rachmaninoff sent me was not it. I tried to make it more than a simple closing post. Either way, even if Davis did survive, after all that happened, that guy's gonna be a wreck for a very long time.
 13. Davis did not know where he was when he woke up, nor did he understand what the female computer voice meant when it congratulated him on competing the Maze. How had he managed to complete the Maze? After Andrew had been horribly crushed he had been overwhelmed by pain, like he had when Deoky had assaulted his mind. And once again he could not remember what had happened since that moment. He only had a vague impression of somehow feeling Eflair?s presence and then nothing. The room he was in was empty other than two of the sleeper like contraptions they had woken up in, though both were empty, but as he finished looking around and thought about getting up he froze at the sight of an enormous screen along one wall. His eyes widened in surprise as he read what was on it and then tears flowed down his cheeks when he realized that there was a list of names, names that though he had barely gotten to know them he would never forget. And to each side of the names was the word deceased indicating that they were dead. Davis could not stop crying as he read the rest of what was displayed on the screen nor when he read the questions. He looked away, disgusted at what he had read. ?Why?? He finally asked. ?Please clarify,? the female voice responded. ?You don?t need me to clarify!? He yelled angrily, ?Just tell me why!? ?Please clarify or move to the next question,? the cold emotionless voice said. Davis ignored it, ?I don?t understand, how could we have done this to ourselves, how could this be our fault? I refuse to believe that we chose to create this place! So I?m asking you, why?? ?Move to the next question please,? the voice said. Davis laughed hysterically. ?If what is listed is true, you?re telling me that in the end we did this to ourselves.? ?That is correct,? the voice responded. ?But you don?t know why.? ?Correct.? ?And all this time, you?ve yet to figure out how to restore the souls that were lost in spite of bringing countless thousands here only to die.? Davis said, his voice tight with barely suppressed fury. ?That is correct,? the voice responded. Davis got up and walked over to the sleeper, opening one and then started attempting to yank the cover off. ?Please clarify your intentions.? ?I would have thought that was obvious.? Davis replied sarcastically. ?I?m going to smash you into tiny pieces to make sure you never bring someone here again!? He ignored the monitor in favor of trying to pry the cover off. ?Is it your intent to choose choice number three?? ?It is.? Davis said grimly. ?Even if doing so will result in termination?? Davis finally managed to pry part of the cover off, flinging it at the monitor, cracking part of the screen. ?Does that answer your question? Just die already!? He walked over and picked it up and started slamming it into the screen again and again. Screaming at the monitor, telling it to die. Until finally he collapsed, exhausted. But other than to destroy one section the rest was still working. ?Why can?t you just die already?? Davis said as tears flowed down his cheeks. ?If the life forms of this universe chose to place our knowledge into a monstrosity such as this then it would have been better if we had never existed! This is not some damn game show! So yes choose number three! I do not want money/fame/or glory. I do not want to be returned to where I came from with my memories erased. I want choice number three, the destruction of the Maze!? ?Understood, initiating self destruct.? On the screen a timer appeared, Davis sank to his knees. He would rather die than go back home as if nothing had ever happened. But then when the countdown reached zero he was caught in the blue beam and then found himself back where he had been before it started. Back in his office at the university where he taught history. Why? He wondered. Why did it send me back? Did it really destroy itself? He shuddered. No one would ever believe him if he told them that in the distant future, life as they knew it would be over. That in a vain attempt to survive they would attempt to transfer their minds to some super computer that would then using the knowledge it had gained do what it had done. Building the center that controlled the Maze. Attempting to find the meaning of life or rather what had been lost. Davis curled up in a ball, miserable, unable to forget what had happened, wondering if the Maze had destroyed itself or if it had merely transported even more innocent people there only to start yet another challenge. He sobbed, not caring if his students found him like that. One was not meant to cheat death. And the Maze in Davis's mind just proved it.
 14. Welcome to OtakuBoards Mitsuki, I will be closing this for several reasons. The first being that before posting a new thread it's a good idea to read this first: IMPORTANT: How to Post in Anime Lounge where you will find that checking the thread directory to see if there is already a thread on the show you wish to discuss exists is a good idea. Since if one does you are expected to post in the existing thread instead of creating a new one. You will also see that we require the use of spoiler tags like I have added to your opening post since not everyone has seen the show. Anytime you are discussing things that would spoil a show for someone who has yet to see it. Always use spoiler tags. Instructions for how to use them are located in the How to Post in Anime Sticky I linked to earlier. And finally OtakuBoards emphasizes quality discussion in its threads. To meet the site's standards, make sure your posts are clear and have a point that adds to the conversation. Also, use of proper spelling and grammar is important. This is even more important in the opening post of a thread. For example you could have taken time to explain a little of what InuYasha's about. But since there is already a thread for this show, just follow the link in the thread directory and post there please. If you have any questions feel free to pm myself or another member of the staff. ~indifference Thread Closed
 15. Now that his father was dead, the child didn't know what to do. He dropped his father's hearts and just stood there. His mother was dead, his cruel father was dead. Now what? On the floor behind his father was one of the other four he had sensed here. Wrapped in terror instead of evil like his father had been. He did not know how he knew what to do, he just did it, kneeling down and reaching out and touching the bindings on him, dissolving them with but a touch. But they couldn't move. Confused he instinctively reached out to talk to him mind to mind like his father could, but like his body that too was bound. Well that won't do, the young man thought even as he removed those as well. Then once he had done so he asked him. "What do I do now? My father is dead." He waited while the man with red hair slowly sat up and backed away until there was no where to go. He waited patiently since he could feel the man's terror beginning to fade, if only a tiny bit. "Well?" He asked again. "What do I do now?" "I don't know," Davis finally stammered unnerved by what he had just seen. "We were trying to stop.."He choked on the word Deoky and then skipped it. "We were trying to find a way out of this Maze." "Leave..." the young man said. "Yes that is also what mother wished. To leave, but mother is dead." "I'm sorry." Davis said. "Why? You did not kill her." The young man stood up. "I must find the way out, for mother. There are still three more here, do they wish to leave too?" Only three? Davis wondered who else had died while he had been trapped here. Slowly he stood up. Taking a moment to steady himself before answering. "Yes they want to leave too." Without a word Deoky's son left, uncertain as to what to do Davis followed him. They did not get far when Andrew startled them by leaping down from above slashing in an attempt to kill Deoky's son. "Die!" Andrew screamed. Even as he knocked Davis out of the way intent on killing the child but Deoky's son merely sidestepped the blow, jumping back out of the way. "Why are you trying to kill me? I have not harmed you." "I don't know what trickery this is Deoky, but you will not continue your evil ways!" Andrew shrugged off Davis who was trying to stop him, telling him that it wasn't Deoky, but Andrew knew that Davis's mind had been shattered and he was not fooled by the blonde hair. He rushed him again. But he dodged each and every thrust of his sword. And then stopped, step siding a lethal thrust by Andrew and catching the handle of the blade and forcing it from Andrew's hand before he could realize what was happening. He reached back and prepared to rip Andrew's heart out and paused at the sound of Davis screaming at both of them. "Look out!" Startled both of them looked back at Davis who was frantically pointing at the ground. Huge cracks had appeared and were opening up underneath them, but it was too late. With a scream Andrew fell into the darkness along with Deoky's son. When the cracks had stopped moving, Davis finally moved forward to see what had happened. Deoky's son was no where to be seen, but Andrew was lying on the ground, semi-conscious. Frantically Davis looked for a way to get to him but there was none. Then to his horror the cracks began to close. He screamed at the top of his lungs, trying to rouse Andrew who was still dazed and then with a horrible sound of grinding and crunching the ground closed. 16. Damn! I wanted to kill that sick bastard! LOL Now I'm cursing the fact that I didn't have time earlier to write a post. Hehe, still that was a good one Sandy. ;) And now that you have done your post I am off to do mine. Expect it in a bit. EDIT: And done, Andrew is now quite dead. And I left it up in the air as to whether or not the brat still lives. Only two more death cards to be played and we shall see. Hehe.
 17.
I STILL haven't beaten this game. I stopped playing it for a while when I got Kingdom Hearts 2, then I came back to play it, couldn't beat the final boss still, and then I went to go train, but I forgot how to get back to where he was. :animecry: So yeah. Also I was never able to get
Albel the Wicked
, I don't know how.[/FONT']
If you are to the final boss of the game, getting Albel isn't possible. Since at that point you've already got all of your final team members. If you're planning on playing it again then one way to help you end up with
Albel is when you run into Roger and he wants to join your party, this happens when you are going to rescue the flower girl, Anyway, be sure to say no.
Also there are certain character interactions that determine who Fayt likes the most. One even that helps is when you first get Albel in your party. Go to Peterny and stay in the inn there as that will trigger a skit if you will. At the end you will be given two choices to a question that
Albel asks Fayt. Be sure to pick the one that says 'not really' as that makes Albel like Fayt. When you are done there, leave the inn and go down the street to find him walking there. Talk to him again and when he asks you a question about the war, you need to choose the option that his country should have been more ruthless.
There are other points that will help you end up with him in your party, but if you still end up with Nel or Roger, the moment you can return to other worlds, before you head to the
Sphere Company in 4D space.
return to Elicoor II and head for where
Croswell is. Albel will be there training since he's preparing to beat you. He'll challenge you to a fight and if you win you'll get the option to add him to your party.
There are other things you can do, but I'm not where my game guide is at the moment. ;) He's definitely one of my favorite characters and in my opinion, well worth starting the game over so I can have him in my party. 18.
Ah yes the matter of the baby. My thoughts are to make killing the child count as using your death card, leaving it open for two to survive the Maze. However, what is everyone else's take?
That's why I asked you since that's exactly what I thought, I was like, oh, now we have eight people here instead of seven. But now that the others have spoken I agree that the baby should be left out of it. That it is not part of the equation so to speak. As far as Death Cards go that is.
I am extremely sorry guys! I don't have time... My computer at home is down and I've been trying to get on at school, but my documentary is due on Friday and that takes priority. (unfortunately) I'm at my local library right now, trying to read up on everything, but its only a 15 minute session and I don't have the money for an hour session, so I doubt I'll get through any of the actual game posts. I just wanted to check the underground first. If everybody ends up using their switch cards and I'm the only one left, you can go ahead and consider myself (and my poor character) forfeit... Sorry again, but I really don't want to slow the game down. I'll try my absolute hardest to make a post tomorrow at school using my switch card. :animecry: TOO MUCH PRESSURE! D!
Sounds like someone is going to be punished by the Maze. Though just to venture an opinion. You could simply nullify their switch card Rachmaninoff and thus open up the game for the killing to begin. Though I'm terribly curious to see what the Maze would do to them. Hehe.
>_< dammit, Rach, I need answers! I don't know what to do with Andrew!
But we definitely need an answer...Especially since poor DB here is itching for some action. LOL! :p
 19. When Andrew suddenly found himself elsewhere, his blade suddenly cutting through air instead of Deoky he didn't have time to take in that Lara Servas was lying on the ground or that when he hit the ground he barely missed the sleeping infant on the floor. Horrified he tried to pull back, but it was too late as far too much force was behind his sword and only the fact that Lara was lying down saved her from being cut in half by his blade. His momentum from the attack that did not connect resulting in him stumbling forward and the blade instead connected with a shriek of metal sparks as it hit the floor with tremendous force. Andrew found himself stumbling over Lara's unconscious body and barely missing impaling himself on his own sword when the force of the blade's impact on the floor resulted in the tip of the blade pointing back up. Right towards his face. Quickly he scrambled to his feet, but other than Lara and the infant there was no one else. Then it hit. Clavis! He started to turn to find a platform to climb onto to see just where he had been moved to and stopped, torn between his desire to find Clavis and the thought that he couldn't leave the two unconscious and unprotected. "Shit!" He swore as he sheathed his sword and then went over to see if he could rouse Lara, ignoring the infant who was wrapped in what appeared to be part of a shirt. When it was apparent that Lara seemed to be alright, he turned his attention to the child. It was clear where it had come from since the signs surrounding Lara indicated it was hers, but how the hell had she come to term so quickly? Or how had she even become pregnant in the first place? Andrew ignored those questions in favor of removing his outer jacket and tearing off one of the sleeves of his shirt. Unlike the strange skimpy garments the other's worn his sleeves were easily wide enough to cover the infant and he took a moment to carefully wrap it up to protect it from getting chilled. It did not even occur to him to see if the child was a male or a female since he simply wrapped the sleeve over the material that was already covering the child. Then it hit him! Deoky had raped Lara! With a startled oath he placed the child back on the floor, backing away. Pulling his sword free. It was dark sorcery at work! How else could she have a child so quickly. Deoky had to have done it! Torn, he stood there his sword drawn, not sure what to do. I should kill the monstrosity! He thought. Even though the idea of killing an innocent disgusted him. He kept standing there, hesitating, struggling with what to do.
 20.
I assure you, I would never go through the trouble of fleshing out a character only to have them die first. If anything, I'll be pissed that they do, lol. Mostly, I wanted to level the playing field. We know a lot about Deoky, Clavis, and Alden, as well as a little bit about Andrew and Davis. Eflair and Lara, aside from not having much of an active role before, we knew nothing about. I know that I, personally, have a penchant fo rkilling the less developed characters, so I figured I'd even it out -- not to mention both are the weakest characters so their background had to have a little weight to it. Of course, for all you know, one of them was my attemot at garnering sympathy... :p Besides, I also left Davis on the verge of suicide and Alden completely unconcious with his balls melted off. I loved writing that part XD!
I know, I was just poking you. :p Since I love how the characters are more developed in this one. And I agree the part with Alden was too funny. Now I'm going to go and post and mess with what you just did. Oh what fun! I think you'll like what I have in mind. Hehe.
 21. Hey Water fox, perhaps you could explain a bit more as to why you want people's opinion? You say this is for a plot line, but a plot line for what? A story, a game, a manga you are drawing? You need to give us some more details as to what this is for as well as possibly including a summary of the story, details like that will help people know which symbol they think would be the most effective or appropriate for what you have in mind.
 22. Well, you've been busy. lol Still it does bring up an interesting question. Each of us, once Rachmaninoff posts indicating we can kill, has a death card. So I guess I'm curious to know if the addition of the baby in the mix means that killing the kid off counts as your kill. So if you could clarify that for us Rachmaninoff? I'd appreciate it since when the time comes I want to be clear on that. Also, it looks like 2007DigitalBoy is setting things up for both Eflair and Lara to be the first to die, telling me that those two are most likely
not his hidden character.
:p And I agree, it's time for a glorious all out battle! Oh and before I forget, that part where Lara clobbered Alden was perfect! Mean as hell but perfect. lol
 23.
Anyway, anyone else currently playing this? And if so what's your take on it? ^_^
I have this game and I like it for pretty much most of the reasons you listed. But for what ever reason I start it, get busy with school and then end up restarting it since I don't remember what I was doing. lol Still in many ways I like it better than Tales of Symphonia, at least the battle system that is. And I agree that the whole concept behind how the world is structured is pretty fascinating. Even if I haven't gotten to the end to find out just why it ended up like that. And yeah, Luke is an annoying little snot at first. Funny but annoying. He definitely gets better later on. Though I don't know if it stays that way. But so far my favorite is Jade Curtis. The skits with him and his
I'm elderly and need to not over exert myself statements
always crack me up. I should pull this out and play it since my finals are over and I won't be back in school for nearly two week. Perhaps I can even finally finish it!
 24.
well, I wrote this about Rachmaninoff, which by the way Nerdy you spleed hideously. If someone who knows him better wants to improve it, be my guest.
This is the same one DB already wrote, only I went through it and added a few things. Also if you want the silly poem I referred to Charles just let me know. lol Rachmaninoff Rachmaninoff (or Rach as he is sometimes called, or Darren, his real name) joined OtakuBoards on 12-16-2006 and semi-instantly became a major name on the boards. Unlike many new members, his post quality has always been superb to the point that he seemed like he?d been on OB for years already, and he has proven himself quite intelligent. Rach has posted all over the boards and contributed much to the community in his short time being on OtakuBoards. Earning him a spot among the Nifty Fifty awards event held in January 2007. Rach has been known to give his opinion quite profoundly in the Otaku Lounge and also exhibits an interest in anime and gaming, as well as posting in the Manga Workshop giving people advice on their works. Rach began participation in a few major RPG?s, namely Silver One and the legendary OtakuBoards Survivor 4: Starting on the LOL?s team and then later after being voted out of the game he was invited back to be a part of The Mercenaries team. Rachmaninoff, as his name suggests, is a major connoisseur of classical music and plays the cello, for which he has a lot of passion since he is currently working on getting his masters degree in music. His signature often features statements regarding music or classical artists. Rach officially married SunfallE online as of 03-08-2007, after sending her a silly poem asking her to be his online wife. Rachmaninoff is also a certified Desbreko fan boy as well as friends with both Aaryanna and Aaryanna_Mom. Outside and inside OB he is good friends with indifference who he has known a long time. He was also introduced to anime by indifference as well as myOtaku, which he joined on 05/02/06. His most recent event, The Maze, is an RPG based on the famous Labyrinth RPG by Sandy, which has gone very well.
 25.
Congratulations. People like you are the reason we're still in Iraq. You see, apathy towards government is equivalent to tacit consent to government actions. If you don't speak out against it, then you've also got a blame to shoulder.
Don't be so quick to point fingers Retribution. DB can't even vote yet and speaking out doesn't make a difference when someone like Bush refuses to accept the decision of the rest of the government. All the speaking in the world can't stop the president from being a jackass and vetoing the decision to withdraw.
it's because the GOP and Bush refuse to budge, refuse to compromise, and refuse to revise the strategy (or lack thereof).
Why give DB a hard time when the true problem is what you just stated? What annoys me is when people get on others cases about not being more vocal, especially when they don't even have the right to vote yet. DB can shout all he wants and argue his points all he wants and the stupid GOP and Bush don't give a damn. Oh and as for the actual topic. It's no surprise that Bush refuses to back down. I'm not even going to bother to get into how much he disgusts me. And even though I was vocal and did vote, we are still stuck in Iraq and it didn't make any difference whatsoever.
