Now there's a plot twist for you. ;P The question remains: who is the father? Deoky Shilos, Alden Courtney, or... the Maze? *gasp*
My reaction was the same as Aaryanna's. Talk about throwing in an unexpected twist. And seeing that you have done so, I now have Lara wanting to do interesting damage to both Deoky and Alden. :p But still... Pregnant? *dies laughing*

Eflair did her best to comfort Lara when she burst into tears and started sobbing. Holding her while she cried. All the while wishing with all that she was that she could kill both Deoky and Alden as well as those responsible for them being there. It was frightening to her. Eflair had never hated someone enough to want to kill them. Her people were peaceful and never resorted to violence, ever. Then when Lara finally started pushing her away and calming down she pulled back. "Eflair, I have to know," Lara said earnestly. "Can you remove what's inside me?" Eflair shook her head, indicating that she could not. Even though she could heal, she did not know how to do as Lara asked. "Gods!" Lara said as she tried to keep it in. "What kind of sick person does this to someone else?" "I'm sorry," Eflair said genuinely distressed. "I don't know. My people are peaceful and have been for centuries. Crimes such as what have happened here do not occur." Lara laughed wildly, making Eflair wonder if her mind was starting to break. "My people are not so kind," she said bitterly. "People like Deoky and Alden are all to common I'm afraid." She sobbed a bit and then got up, pulling out the weapon that Alden had given her. "I need to ask you one more thing Eflair." She said grimly. "You said you can't get rid of what's inside me, but can you kill another person? Because if it's the last thing I do, I'm going to neuter that sick bastard! Both of them!" Eflair got up and followed Lara, wondering if she should have kept her mouth shut and then dismissed it. Even if she had said nothing, she would have realized something was wrong when Lara realized she was pregnant. It was incomprehensible to Eflair, that a process, one of bringing a new and precious life into the world could cause such pain. Oh how she missed the calm and kind beauty of her world. Where terrible things like she had encountered here did not exist. ***** When Clavis was spirited away from the two women he did his best to quickly find them. But instead he ended up running into Andrew who had yet to find Deoky. They had discussed their concern and worry that someone dangerous had been transported to where the girls were. But in the end they had been helpless to do anything about it. If there was any justice in this place it would have been Davis or Alden, who though far from kind, was at least not as horrible as Deoky. Finally the two of them had to rest. Exhausted from all the searching they both had done. Snatching fitful bits of sleep that was haunted by nightmares of finding the two girls dead. Later when they had rest they continued, discussing the problem of the traps being more difficult as well as the real concern as to just what had happened to Davis and Lara and Eflair. Both of them knew it was too much to hope that Deoky was dead. But still after he had been so quick and horrible in his attacks it just didn't make sense. Finally Andrew suggested that they climb up on one of the platforms that still remained to keep an eye out for the others. If they were still alive they were bound to travel close enough for them to see. Both of them climbed up and took positions on the platform, searching for signs of movement. ***** Davis was beginning to wonder if he was indeed in hell. Once Deoky had left he had spent hours trying to wiggle free of the strange bindings Deoky had used on him. But try as he might he could not get free. He had tried yelling and screaming, but his voice would not go higher than but a mere whisper. He could not hear what was happening from the small enclosed room that Deoky had put him in and it was maddening to not know what was happening. To be stuck lying on the hard floor unable to get free. For a short while he had hope that the others would find him, but when the hours passed and no one did he began to despair. In the end Davis did not completely remember what had happened. He clearly remembered being transported here and joining the others, but later while he and Eflair and Lara were waiting for Clavis and Andrew to return, Eflair had vanished only for Deoky to take her place. It had taken Deoky mere seconds to overcome both of them and when he had stripped his mind, something that he could vaguely remember happening until pain had taken over and he had collapsed, the rest was hazy and disjointed. It wasn't until later that he realized he was sitting on the floor of the maze with Deoky right in front of him. Though he did not know how he got there or what had happened since he had collapsed. But in the same moment that he realized just where he was and that Deoky had attacked him. Davis found that he could not move. And now he was trapped, being kept a prisoner though he didn't understand why. Davis finally broke down and cried, terrified that the others were dead. Then finally exhausted he fell into a troubled sleep. One filled with echoes of Deoky laughing at him mockingly.

Hehe, sounds like Sandy is eager for the blood to be spilled. ;) It could get a bit repetitive, but at the same time it has been rather entertaining. I for one do not mind waiting. Though it seems that Rachmaninoff has already determined that those who put if off too long will regret it. Now I'm almost hoping someone does just to see what would happen. :p Either way, once we are ready, unless someone beats me to it I already know who I'm going to kill. And even if someone does there are plenty of other characters who need to die as well.

Now as for how the whole thing is progressing, Good Grief! You guys are brutal! After all that you've put poor Davis through I felt bad that I made it even worse. Though I suppose someone could end up switching Davis with someone else. But still! o_O I can see that this final round is going to be intense! And poor Lara. Attacked twice no less! I knew this would be mature, but I figured it would be like the last one. I was not expecting all these twists and more adult issues like rape and such. As for your post Bethany... I swear, as a parent it never fails to amaze me at how quickly one's kids grow up. :animesigh It will be interesting to see how this plays out and to see who finally makes it to the end. I know I'm looking forward to seeing how this finally gets resolved. :catgirl:
I'd say that with your creativity you're doing a pretty good job yourself and correct me if I'm wrong but some of the style or rather nature of how you've been writing up Deoky has me wondering if you've read Mercedes Lackey's fantasy books since though they are different the way you handle villains is similar to her style. Though Deoky seems to be far smarter than Falconsbane and a couple of the other major villains in her books ever were. ;) Uh oh, she called you by your real name Aaryanna, I'd run if I were you. At least I run when my mom does that! LOL And yeah I'm looking forward to seeing who finally walks out that exit and to any horrible posts by DB should his character die. :p

Well, if it's any consolation, if I made a hierarchy you would be among the elite. Maybe I will consider either pulling the article or adding some further disclaimer to it. If it's really bothering a number of you, I would rather just avoid having it become a problem, honestly.
This would probably work as a disclaimer if added at the beginning of the article:
The DeathKnight Hierarchy of ArguingĀ© should not be used to gauge intelligence. That would be rude.
Seems like that would work beautifully. ;) -

Edit: Why did you suddenly go back in time in your latest post, DigitalBoy? Besides, Aaryanna wrote that Deoky took off after raping Lara, he didn't stay for a fight... :/ I think we all have to start reading each others posts as thoroughly as possible from now, since things are going to go extremely hectic with the switch cards.
Hmm...I assumed that Andrew and Clavis chased Deoky and that's how they ended up in a fight. After Eflair healed Lara that is. So I wrote my post from that standpoint. So all DB would have to do is edit his to include the fact that those two chased Deoky. He would also need to leave out the part about Eflair informing Clavis about Davis. Since obviously Clavis already would have known. And since DB messed up first I suggest that he fix his post to better match, especially since I spent quite a bit of time writing up my post. :p [Yes I missed the contradiction as well] And I rather like the Switch Cards, they are forcing us to be more clever with our posts since we can't kill anyone just yet. I know I enjoyed yanking the rug out from underneath Deoky. *evil grin* EDIT: I'm going to change the opening of my post to indicate that Deoky couldn't resist going back and taunting them, resulting in both Clavis and Andrew giving chase. EDIT: Done, I've modified my opening. Now it's up to DB to finish repairing the mixup. *pokes DB*

Deoky fully intended to get to the others since torturing them would make it possible for him to regenerate himself, but Andrew was impossibly quick, forcing him to detour again and again. And though his wound wasn't too serious it was maddening how he couldn't get to the others. As he proceeded a quick glance showed that he was approaching the platform where Alden was still standing, smoking a cigarette and simply watching. Furious Deoky launched tiny slivers of darkness at the platform he was standing on, cutting the supports. Alden barely had time to realize what had happened before he was sent tumbling down into the maze with the rest. Cursing under his breath as he landed on top of Andrew. In that moment Deoky slipped away using the knowledge he had gained from Davis to easily avoid even more traps. Though now the others were between him and Davis and Lara enough that the time it would take to circle around would prevent him from getting to them before Andrew or Clavis and Eflair did. If only Eflair had stayed dead! With out her Lara would be still be in shock from what he had done to her and Clavis would have died, leaving their minds helpless to his power. Still, they would all die, Deoky paused for a moment to tear strips from the sleeve of his shirt quickly binding the cut Andrew had given him. Using a tiny hint of his power to seal the makeshift bandage. I shouldn't have gone back and taunted them, he thought. It had been too tempting to resist, gloating in their faces when they realized just what he had done to both Davis and Lara. He had not expected both Clavis and Andrew to immediately come after him. Still it didn't matter. Deoky always won. And this time would be no different. ***** Eflair had never seen such terrible wounds as Clavis had, but that didn't stop her determination to heal him. If anyone had the ability to stop Deoky it was Clavis and she knew she had to save him. It was hard to carefully mend the horrible damage from where the sword had pierced him as well as Deoky's hand but she poured her power into him, even though after just healing Lara it was exhausting to do so. But in the end it payed off and Clavis's wounds closed and the pale look on his face faded. "Thank you kind maiden." Clavis said simply as he sat up. Catching her before she could fall and helping her stand up as he did so. "We must hurry and attend to Davis while Andrew is dealing with Deoky." "Won't Deoky simply do to him what he did to Davis?" Eflair asked. "No," Clavis said as they hurried to where the others were. "Andrew is a warrior, and though my protection can be broken, his own determination will make that difficult for Deoky to do." When they finally got to where Davis and Lara were, Lara was soothing Davis who seemed to have the mind of a child as he kept asking in a tearful voice just where his mommy was. "Stand aside Lara," Clavis said firmly as he exerted his power to sooth Davis's troubled mind. He was not a telepath but even he could sense the extent of the damage. It was a wonder that Davis could even speak. He suppressed the rage he felt over what Deoky had done as he approached Davis who had stopped crying and was looking at Clavis. His expression one of hope. "Do you know where my mommy is?" He asked him. Clavis knelt in front of Davis who was sitting on the floor against one the walls. "I'm going to help you find her all right?" He reached out with his hands. Grasping Davis's firmly when he hesitantly reached out. A moment later Davis fell asleep as Clavis's power soothed him. Gently he lowered him to the floor. "I'll need all of you to guard me while I do this." He told the others. "Healing damage like this will take time." Then he turned back and went into a healing trance to begin. ***** Alden had been caught by surprise when the platform had collapsed and he fell face first on top of Andrew, barely missing the sword he had been holding. With a curse he pulled free, shoving Andrew aside. "What was that for!" Andrew said angrily. "You're the one who hit me! And thanks to you Deoky got away! And just why the hell did you do nothing?" Alden sneered, "Don't you get it fool? Even if you stop that freak you'll still have to kill your precious friends if you want to get out of here. The moment you kill Deoky for them is the moment they will kill you." "You're the one who is a fool," Andrew said sharply. "Once we deal with Deoky we will find a way out of this together." He pushed past Alden and started to head back to where the others were. Even if it wasn't possible for them to all get out, he was going to try. He came to halt when Alden shoved him again, sending him sprawling. "You're such an idiot." Alden said scornfully. "I could have killed you just now." Andrew got back up and sheathed his sword, then he took a few steps forward and surprised Alden by punching him in the face, sending him sprawling. "You're such an idiot." Andrew said mockingly. "I could have killed you just now." He ignored Alden's angry expression as he got back up. "You should listen to yourself. You're pathetic, waiting for us to deal with Deoky so that you don't have to." Alden started to reach for his gun but quicker than he would have thought possible, Andrew whipped out his sword and with a single step had the point at his throat. Alden hadn't even gotten his guns free of their holsters. Alden froze. "Toss those contraptions aside or I will kill you." Andrew said coldly. Swallowing hard, Alden did as he was told, breathing a sigh of relief when Andrew withdrew the sword once he had tossed his guns aside. "I expect you to at least steer clear of my friends since next time I won't spare your life." Then after making sure Alden was staying put Andrew left and headed towards the others. ***** With a smile Deoky crept up on the others, using Alden as a delay had worked perfectly, and the timing couldn't have been any better! Clavis was clearly doing something to help Davis and Eflair was exhausted from healing Lara and Clavis. Slowly he crept forward, intending to take Lara out by surprise. But at just that moment the blue light once again surrounded him. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Deoky screamed in frustration as he found himself some where else in the maze. ***** Andrew had not walked very far when the blue light that had taken Deoky earlier took him this time. A moment later he found himself right behind Lara. Quickly he ran in to join them and then once the others explained that Clavis was healing Davis, he took up a stance to guard them. Relieved that Eflair had managed to heal Clavis. *****

I'm assuming that he meant that all the switch cards have to be used. Either way I'll wait to find out since I just used mine. *evil grin* Now I'm going to go and hide since I just know my mom's eyes are going to pop when she realizes what I just wrote! XD Though the idea's weren't mine, I was just going off of what indifference had Deoky looking forward to doing to them if given a chance. :p *pokes indifference*
Hey! *protests* Uh, wait, I did say that Deoky wanted to do that to both Davis and Lara didn't I? Oh boy, your mom's gonna clobber me! LOL I see that all of you are off to a good start, talk about a surprise since I was expecting people to have been eliminated as well. Still this just raises the stakes since it makes it harder to know who's still left in the game. But most shocking of all is that Aaryanna wrote a post like that! *pokes Aaryanna* :p
I kid. ;D
Still poor Davis and Lara. Deoky is certainly one mean little ****!

Well, part of the idea was that Lara would have woken up at some point (prolly not too long) and been freaking out or something, but i figured if I got too graphic I'd scare the kiddies (or, in this case, the mommies). I tried a minimalist approach, lol.
I don't know about that, she was drugged so even if she did wake up she wouldn't have been coherent enough to object. And later once she truly woke up when the drugs wore off, she might not even remember it. But yeah, I know what you mean, I kept the sexual encounters that I included toned down due to kiddies and mommies. lol *pokes Aaryanna_Mom* ;)

Jared was doing his best to hold his irritation in. Even though he could and would put duty first, it was still annoying that after all this time Jason was going to end up out of his reach. The fact that the High Council had even bothered to bring up a matter that he already knew about meant that it was likely they had already decided to keep Jason with Celestia. And the logical and cold side of him saw it perfectly. Everything they had seen indicated that the two of them working together were unbelievably smart. Altering the transport doors so that they were capable of movement. Something that their own scientists had been trying to figure out for centuries. Fragmenting transmissions of complex programs, the one that had been used to disable the Crimson and the Tempest, in spite of all the security precautions in place to prevent such a thing. In the end Celestia's and Jason's skill was far to valuable to risk losing. Especially since the specifics from the shielding of the resistance base showed that it had been modified as well. Making it possible to hide without needing the harder to get and far more expensive shielding. Even the newest messenger ship the Transcendence had not detected it until it was practically on top of the location. Researching new technology as well as making improvements on current technology was expensive. Requiring not only high tech laboratories in order to test things, but also paying lavish salaries to the scientists doing the research, and even then that was no guarantee that anything would come of the research. Ironically, if they had not been planning to take over Earth, it would have only been a matter of time until one of the governments on Earth did as they had, capture both of them to in order to make them work for them. They would not have enjoyed freedom as they had for much longer. Jared had extensively checked them out before they had moved in and seized both of them. Many of the superpowers on Earth already had both of them in their sights. Though he doubted that either Celestia or Jason had realized this. Jared sighed a bit as he continued with the preparations to leave sector thirteen and head back to sector one. Even though the professional side of him understood the decision just fine, the other side of him, the one that had been looking forward to having Jason again was angry. And even then that side was also angry at himself for allowing it to affect him. It wasn't like he was forced to be celibate, Stevens had certainly made sure of that. He was even more active in that respect than Jared was. Then because he was finished for the day he wrapped things up and headed for Darren's quarters. He could have just left a message to answer the one Darren had sent him earlier, but he chose not to. It would, at least for him, be amusing to see Darren's reaction when he told him that he would be staying on the Creator for the trip to sector one. He was so impatient to be elsewhere that it was rather funny. And as he waited for the door to open to Darren's quarters, he smiled as he knew perfectly well that Darren was unbelievably fun to tease since he made it so easy. It would make a nice ending to his day to have a little fun at Darren's expense. Well at least before he went to Stevens quarters that is. That would be more fun than teasing Darren. Once he was inside, Jared wasted no time at all since it was obvious that Darren was upset and trying to hide it. "Darren," he said with a mock bow. "I presume you wish to know why your request to head to sector one was denied and if there is anything else you need to take care of correct?" Darren, who was standing next to the view of Earth merely nodded. "It's simple, in about a week the Creator will be returning to sector one, and since a transport will not have the security clearance that we do, even if you left on one, we would still get there before they could, making taking one pointless." "If there's nothing for me to do here then why can't I take the transport instead?" Darren asked clearly frustrated. "Because the security on the Creator is better. Surly you don't think we'd entrust your safety to a mere transport do you? Your sister would never forgive me if I allowed anything to happen to you." Jared smiled at Darren's reaction to him mentioning his sister. "Besides, I know how much you adore spending time with me as well and who am I to deny you that pleasure?" Jared laughed when Darren flushed at the implication. And then caught up in the moment he slowly began walking towards him, noting how he still got the same look of panic as he backed away. Once he was a few feet away he stopped. "I told you before Darren, to stop being in a hurry to get back to your ship or to your other duties. Just as I also know that you feel as if you are being harassed, but what you don't know is that if I had really wanted to, you would have been mine a long time ago. Even if you are innocent of any wrong doing. I had hoped that you would be smart enough to realize the politics behind forming alliances that you disagree with, but obviously you are not. Were it Stevens who had taken a fancy to you, this conversation would have never happened, he would have already had his way with you." Jared ignored Darren's obvious distress as he collapsed to the floor sitting there with tears running down his face. "I can't!" Darren said. "I don't understand how anyone can. It's one thing to agree to work together, but why must you and Stevens make it more than it has to be? Forcing others to do things they don't want to?" Jared just smiled. "I would have thought that was obvious. We do it because we enjoy it." He turned to leave and then stopped and turned back to face Darren. "One other thing Darren, I have been charged with seeing to your security once we arrive in sector one. So if you have any special requirements, such as visiting your sister on Reflection, you'll need to run them through me." Then feeling rather pleased with himself he left. Because if he stayed, innocent or not, he would have had his way with Darren. That and he was due to meet Stevens in his quarters in a short while. Jared sighed contentedly. At least if he couldn't have Jason, there were other things he could enjoy. And tormenting Darren was definitely one of them.

Decided to round off the round with a nice little summary of how our characters are feeling right now. And boy, is Alden feeling something... please don't hurt me too bad! In any eent, a post just as crepy as any of the deaths, lol.
Seeing that Rachmaninoff wrote a post with Alden drugging Lara and setting it up for something to possibly happen, if anyone is going to get hurt it would be Rachmaninoff and not you. lol It's rather ironic that this time around we've had sexual elements to the story in addition to the gore and violence that the first labyrinth had. And for all intents and purposes, since Deoky bent Rebecca's mind to his will, that was rape as well. Such lovely characters we have in this event. lol
Why wait? Why don't we just move on? I say start it on today (Saturday), if you have time for that.
I agree, especially since 2007DigitalBoy did that nice little summary of what the different characters are thinking and feeling, well other than Lara who wasn't awake and couldn't realize just what she was feeling. lol Anyway, I'm all for getting the next round going today instead of tomorrow. Anime What's Your Favourite Anime Theme Song and Why?
Horendithas replied to a topic in Otaku Central
Welcome to OtakuBoards Stormheart, I will be closing this thread for a couple of reasons. First OtakuBoards emphasizes quality discussion in its threads. To meet the site's standards, make sure your posts are clear and have a point that adds to the conversation. Also, use of proper spelling and grammar is important. Something your opening post does not do. Second Favorite threads, asking what people's favorite whatever is, are another and are only permitted if reasons are given for people's choices. Something you did not do since other than to mention that you like the song from the Full Metal Panic opening and the Angelic Layer ending you gave no reasons as to why you liked them. Third asking others to list what they like fails to follow the second reason, listing something with out giving a reason as to why it is a favorite. Take some time to review the Rules the FAQ as well as the IMPORTANT: How to Post in Anime Lounge sticky.
... I am not degrading him in any way. I am just telling him he has some information wrong. There are way to many misconceptions in ssbm >_>. And besides its not lile we are at each others throats...well I'm not at least..its just a friendly debate.
Wrong, telling someone that their tournaments are crap or that they have zero good players is not only rude but unnecessary. And shows a definite lack of sportsmanship when it comes to playing games or any type of sport. It's easy to discuss the points between different levels of playing without looking down on other players like a snob. It also reflects poorly on those who do play at a more advance level instead of encouraging others to want to learn more. And even then, there's nothing 'crappy' or wrong with playing with different rules or for less money. And another thing to consider, it also falls under the rules here about not abusing members or staff since flaming others is definitely not acceptable here.

The list is great, but you might want to change the Aaryanna to Aaryanna_Mom since we already have an article on Aaryanna. ;) And speaking of articles, I know perfectly well Rachmaninoff isn't likely to cough one up so I'll work on one and put it up later. -
And I have played my death card. My dual death card that is. Hehe. That was fun! I've been waiting for the right moment to use it. :p Now I'm curious to know if Darren has a dual death card as well. And in the end...that post was way too much fun to write since I had so many ideas as to how Deoky would enjoy killing the two women. In the end having him enjoy watching them die slowly and painfully seemed fitting for his character. After he had his way with Rebecca of course since that too seemed to fit his character. *evil laughter*
-
Things were not going as Deoky had planned. They had at first as he cleverly kept Vanya unaware as well as turning Rebecca into a mindless puppet but then the traps became even more and more difficult, like the one with the gun turret. That had actually required him to use quite a bit of power to escape from. And to protect both women at the same time was starting to be draining. Especially after they encountered two more of the traps with the gun turrets. As much as he was enjoying toying with them, regretfully it was time to stop as his own life was far more important. It wasn't like he couldn't make his own version of the Maze when he got back to his own domain. Oh the fun he would have when he did so. Deoky smiled at Rebecca who in spite of his control was hanging onto him tightly pressing into him and sneaking in caresses in an attempt to get his attention. Cleverly running her hands underneath his clothing and then pulling back when ever he looked at her smiling coyly. Clearly she had but one thought on her mind and a tiny part of him regretted that he would not be taking her with him. Her exotic beauty would have made a fine addition to his harem. Regretfully he turned away, looking for the right spot to let them die. He wasn't going to take Vanya anyway, so losing her was nothing and if he found the right trap he could still tap into the power of her death to replenish himself. It was his other pastime, torturing the innocent and basking in their terror and pain. Such things only served to enhance his power and it had been far too long since he had enjoyed that pleasure. Ideally, finding another turret trap would be perfect, letting the Maze slowly rip them to shreds, prolonging their agony. It would be delicious. And to his delight he could sense more of them. He was going to really enjoy this! Then as Rebecca once again slid her hands under his clothing provocatively, this time going down instead of up he was caught in an intense wave of desire as her clever fingers did things that made him moan. In that instant he decided to take her. If he couldn't bring her with him, he would at least be sure to have her before he let her die. It took stern control for him to force her to pull her hands back as he looked for a spot clear of the traps. But when he found one, it was child's play to make Vanya think she was tired and that he would be watching her while she slept. Then while Vanya was out he took his time, bringing Rebecca and himself to the brink again and again, taking in the power of her emotions and desire as sex was just as potent for raising power as death was. When he finally came he nearly changed his mind about keeping her. Never before had he experienced such powerful lovemaking. And he trembled a bit at the thought of having her to take when ever he pleased. But as he pulled free of her and got dressed, he knew that he would not. Deoky could sense that there were many more turrets ahead and he would need all his power for himself. He smiled charmingly at her as she got dressed as well and then gently prodded Vanya awake, smiling as Rebecca once again attached herself to his arm, her thoughts already on enticing him to make love to her yet again. They continued on their journey and instead of avoiding the next turret Deoky deliberately entered the chamber, smiling when the door slammed shut and the first 'glitch' cut Vanya's face. Then, smiling cruelly he went into a full meditative state, separating himself from real time, situating himself so that he could still see and experience what they felt as he was still in their minds. And yet keep himself free of the trap in the process, such a move took far less power than riding each 'glitch' in an attempt to destroy the turret and stop the bullets. At first they didn't even realize that they couldn't see him anymore, blindly trusting in him to save them. But as the pain from their cuts grew, his hold on them in that respect diminished and they realized that he was no longer there. They began to frantically search for him, desperately calling his name. Deoky basked in their terror and pain as each tear occurred, he reveled in how they still thought he would save them, even after the turret had mercilessly left them covered in cuts, blood flowing down their bodies. And when the sheer agony that followed as the turret then took out their kneecaps and other more vital spots resulting in them screaming in pain as they collapsed to the floor and slowly bleed to death, then and only then, did Deoky finally destroy the turret. Appearing before them as they took their final breaths. Gloating cruelly he smiled down at them. Waiting until he felt them die in his mind before moving on. Never had he enjoyed such pleasure as he had since he came to this maze. Fully charged from having taken Rebecca as well as from their deaths he continued though the maze alone. Now if he was lucky, he would find the rest of the people here. Nothing would please him more than to slowly destroy Clavis and then strip Davis's mind, taking all of his knowledge from him before killing him. He would take Lara before killing her as well. He would even enjoy forcing Eflair to heal his wounds before he ripped her to shreds. Humming contentedly Deoky continued through the Maze, his senses alert for any sign of the exit as well as for the others who were still here.
Everybody on the OB is a little bit lazy, and usually don't post in th Art Studio. [/B']
And quite a few people on OB aren't artists either. So they have no reason to post in the Art Studio. ;) So even though we may pop in on occasion we don't really pay much attention to this area. Though I rather enjoyed the graphic tournaments that have been held in the past since it's fun being part of the judging process of them by critiquing the work, even if you know next to nothing about art.

i have my own theory on this. Seeing as how the two are so utterly perfect rivals, I can't helo but think while one of the players created one, Rach may have slipped in the other. i could be wrong, though. In any event, it is awesomely coincidental that those two people would do such, lol.
I actually have a different theory, but then that's because one of the added characters (I won't say which one) isn't that well known and I know for a fact that two of the players do know about the series the character comes from. And pictures for that character aren't that easy to find. Or least the one they used anyway. So I think both characters were indeed added by players. But if Rachmaninoff slipped one in, then I'm fairly positive I know just which one it was. But if he didn't...It will be supremely ironic if it is just a coincidence. lol

That's a dangerous road to go into. You should really kill your favorites asap, because otherwise they will turn out to be so likable they eventually win!
Tell me about it. lol I can and will kill one of them off though since there is more than one that I like. But before that I decided to split the groups up some more. Or rather make them a tiny bit more balanced.
I wholly agree. Rach has managed to take Labyrinth into a whole new level, which was only expected. ;D
I agree as well, he had a good example to build on after all. ;) Anyway after my meddling with my transport card the groups are now like this: One: Clavis Davis Eflair Two: Deoky Vanya Rebecca Three: Alden Lara Hehe, now I get to look forward to seeing who Darren finally kills as well as writing up my own post where death occurs. Alden barely had time to even be surprised when a blue column of light appeared and took Rebecca away. And even though his scanner could not identify it perfectly, it was clear that some form of transportation beam had taken her. He looked for her, but it was obvious she was gone. Damn it! Did those who tried to kill us take her? Hell! With a snarl of rage and irritation he left the area they had been in and went through the next set of doors. He wanted to find her, but he doubted that he would. It was maddening since his scanner had gathered a bunch of the drug that had been used on him and her and he had put just the tiniest amount in her water intending to keep her a bit dazed and easy to control. But as he continued through area after area, encountering nothing but traps that he easily avoided, it was apparent that he really wasn't going to find her again. Alden was about to toss her drugged water bottle aside when another column of blue light appeared in front of him. But the person who appeared was not Rebecca. There was no mistaking the blond hair and blue eyes of Lara Servas, eyes that widened in fear and panic as she backed away from him. What the? What is she afraid of? "This can't be!" Lara was saying. "I saw you die!" She burst into tears as she turned to run away, convinced that it was some horrible trap. Lara shrieked in fear when Alden caught her arm stopping her. "What are you talking about? I'm not dead nor am I a trap!" Lara struggled furiously, terrified that what was before her was some trick, but Alden forced her to face him continuing to tell her that he was not dead. Lara stopped struggling, "But I don't understand," she said tearfully. "I saw your body ripped to pieces by..." She choked and started sobbing uncontrollably. "I don't know what you saw, but I was nearly killed by a drugged trap earlier, if you saw my body being torn to pieces then it's likely that you too were drugged and fooled." Alden reasoned. Lara looked up at Alden desperate to believe him, "You really think so?" "I'm positive," Alden assured her as he steered her towards a couple of chairs in the section they were in, one that was similar to the one where he had been when Rebecca had vanished. He got her to sit down and handed her the water bottle that had been for Rebecca. She took it hesitantly and then drank some of the water. Then as the drug started working she calmed down a bit. Then to Alden's surprise she threw herself into his arms hugging him tightly. "I'm so glad you're not dead!" Then as if embarrassed she let go and pulled back. "Did you want your gun back? I don't know if there's any ammo left or not since I've used it several times, without it I would have been killed several times already." "Keep it then, I have others," Alden said with a smile. "We'd best get going since this place has a nasty habit of springing traps if you linger too long in one spot." Lara nodded. She hoped that those she had been with would be okay. Especially after learning about what Deoky was from Clavis. I'd better warn him about Deoky! She thought. Something that as they continued through the maze she did. Telling him all that had happened to her since they had been separated as well.
A frightening thought, 2 still left. There will only be 6 players by rounds end and the possibility of more special cards floating around ;) But hey, this game has so many twists, we could be up to like 10 people by next round, lol.
It certainly has been more fun that the previous game this one was based on. The creation cards as well as the dual death card have left one without the ability to determine just what's going to happen and the character development has been pretty good too. Or rather we've had more fun with it. And I know that unless Darren off's Deoky I intend to play with him before I decide who to kill. lol

Personal harem XD I love it!
I just died laughing over that one too. Hehe. As for transports, I still have mine as well as my death card and Darren still has his death card as well. I probably won't be posting anything till much later tonight or probably tomorrow though. My only drawback is deciding who to kill since there are characters I like even though they aren't mine. lol

If he really wants to fool people like that, he should reconsider wearing plush turtles for hats. Everytime I see him being all judgemental, I look at that picture and think "Aw, that's adorable!" It puts everything into perspective.
Exactly! ;)
Now that you've mentioned a category for me, yes, yes I was. Yessssss.
Don't you mean a CATegory for you? EDIT: And just to be on topic, I will have been here for two years in July.

DeathKnight left out the tier of posters like him who make zanny lists poking fun at everything just to hide how lovable he/they truly are. :p And to make people like me just laugh and laugh when they read it. :3 And one other thing: *pulls out her mod rod and points it at 2007DigitalBoy* You heard him! Get to work on those rodents!

It seems that no one has been playing with Alden and Rebecca, so I just did, even if that rather nasty trap failed to kill them. And having Alden the type to use drugs to have his way with women just seemed like a nice twist for someone who is a criminal. Also, you might want to fix your post Sandy since you forgot that Liam was also with Clavis and Vanya. And I see that everyone seems to enjoy playing with Deoky. But then who doesn't like to play with a villain right? Provided he's still alive I know I will be sure to do so later today. lol
