You sing totally different melodies while in Wolf form. The ones you sing as Wolf Link don't bring Epona to you. ;)[/FONT']
Is that something that they altered for the Wii version? Because I have the one for the GameCube and if you howl the melody when you are next to the plant that you play when you are in human form to call Epona...Well...
Epona does come to you when you are a wolf too. You can even speak to her in your wolf form just like you can also speak to the other animals in the game. The only difference is you can't ride her when you are a wolf.
Of course this only works after
you get Epona in the game again, until then it doesn't work for Link in either form.

DeathKnight:[/B'] You forgot to mention that you?re not good at admitting that you?re down right funny at times and extremely loveable. :p
I'll second that. As for myself, my biggest thing I'm not good at is computers. Fortunately most of it is designed for total idiots and for those other moments there are plenty of people who do know what they are doing. And most of them are nice enough to not point out how easy it is suppose to be. I'm also not good at drawing, though my lack of interest in becoming an artist probably figures heavily into that.
Yes, games cost money. Thanks for clarifying that. So, you can bend over and let Sony rape you for $600 if you want, while applauding at each thrust, but I'll wait until there are some games worth playing.
That just made my day Charles. :rotflmao: You have such a nice way of putting things.
Think about it. Now, I know some of you may not be Xbox fans either but lets put it into perspective. The PS3 costs $600, correct? Correct. How much does the high-end Xbox 360 cost? $400? Yes. Howa bout the HD DVD player? $250. Boom. You've just payed more for an Xbox 360 than you would've if you bought a PS3. Not to mention paying for Xbox Live if that's your cup of Joe. Howa bout the wireless headset? $60. See what I'm saying here?
I have thought about it and instead of forcing their customers to buy stuff they don?t need they?ve given them the option. HD DVD players isn?t a new thing and who wants to fork out the extra money for a feature they may already have? There?s a whole world of consumers who already have an HD DVD player and don?t want to pay the extra for something they don?t even need. Sony?s trying to ram the whole thing down your throat instead of giving the buyer options like Xbox did. You?re going off of the assumption that the person buying it doesn?t have any of those items. My parents are a good example of this, they love to watch movies but don?t play any games whatsoever. So when my bother picked up his Xbox he didn?t waste an addition $250 for a HD DVD player that he didn?t even need since he lives with my parents still. And even when he moves out, he?s not much of a movie person and doesn?t really plan on getting it at all.
The fact remains; games cost money. You need to spend money to enjoy your games. Its a fact. Its always going to be like that so all I can say is suck it up and stop bashing Sony for being so blunt with their pricing. (Among other things, but all systems have defects.) If anything I applaud Sony for slapping that $600 sticker on the system. At least they're not slapping us in the faces like Xbox and Nintendo with hidden 'fees'[/SIZE']
The actual price of the game isn?t the issue here, it?s the stupid way that Sony is trying to force the whole package on everyone as if it makes them a better choice some how. Xbox and Nintendo aren?t putting out hidden fees, they are letting the customer pick and choose to some extent what they want. Where Sony?s taking the attitude of we provide everything unlike the others, when I reality it just shows how inflexible they?ve become over the years. They?re bogging their customers down with stupid expenses without any consideration to those people who only want to play games and don?t give a damn about all the ?our system does so much more? junk. I don't even use HD for anything so why would I want to fork out the extra money for it? That?s about as dumb as buying a truck that can haul stuff when all you need is a car to get to work. Why pay for stuff you don?t need when you can go to Xbox, buy the basics and then later if you do need the stuff you can just upgrade. Sony on the other hand is outright trying to screw you over from the very beginning and trying to make it look like the others have hidden fees, instead of realizing that they missed the chance to cater to their customers needs. About the only faith I have in Sony is that they are continuing their streak of missing the mark when it comes to really being there for customers. I don't have any faith in any of the companies, I never did. I just go with the one that gives me the best options along with games I actually like. And Sony is a long ways away from that at the moment.

Of course like mopst people i have not forgotten where i came from i still love all the classics like Tiny Toon adventures, Animaniacs ,Teenage mutant Ninja turtles 90'S version,Transformers, Tom and Jerry, looney tunes, Darkwing duck ,chip and dale's rescure rangers, Tale spin, ducktales, and so on and so forth with all the classic cartoon i've seen i could go forever. But anyway it's always great to talk about the good ol days.
I was racking my brain trying to think of the good ol days since I didn't really watch a lot of anime when I was younger, but Tale Spin, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Gummy Bears and Chip and Dale's rescue rangers were shows I watched every chance I got. I just loved Darkwing Duck with his I am the terror that flaps in the night and Talespin with Don Karnage and his future victim person sayings. Those were good times I just loved watching those shows. It?s great to see them finally being released on DVD.

Lately I have been arguing with myself about this and it's about a question that has no answer, not a trick question but an actual question that has no real absolute answer... My question... Do you think there's such a thing as a question with no real absolue answer?
No need to argue over something like that. Just take a look at all the questions centered around religion to see that they can't agree on an absolute answer to just about anything. So my answer to your question is yes. ;)

The problem is that you're so small in the whole thing that you can never really tell where you are. --Chris
When the scene first starts though you can see well enough to make sure Squall is moving in the right direction. Every time I've played it I've just kept moving him over towards where the others are, it won't let you climb up once you reach them, but so long as you are over there you shouldn't die. At least the couple of times I've played through that spot I never have. I didn't even know you could.

An excellent read that makes me wish I had the money to pick up all the volumes instead of having to wait until I can afford to get a couple more.
If you ask nicely I?ll loan you mine so you don?t have to wait. :p It?s been a while since I read them but I agree with everything you said about them. I don?t mind that they didn?t follow the manga?s with the actual show, but there are parts I wish they hadn?t left out. Some of those scenes where Daisuke kept turning into Dark while he was at school were totally hilarious. And they had more of the aspect of Wiz
posing as Daisuke as well.
Though I suppose if they had really tried to do it justice it would have required two seasons instead of one to really squeeze everything in there. Not that I would have minded. Hmmm? Now I feel the urge to re-read them.

In places where most people would use the Hawkeye, I shoot without it. And still hit. :p
Being able to hit them isn't really the issue for me. I got the
heart piece when showing the kids how to use the bow the first time through since even with the gamecube version it's pretty easy to hit your target.
What's fun is what SunfallE mentioned, nailing them long before they even know you are there and I rather like the little
red cross lines making it feel like you have a powerful sniper weapon instead of just a little bow.

Well I just started the fourth dungeon and like you SunfallE I have five of the special moves as well. I even found the cave of ordeals Des mentioned but for now I?m steering clear of it. I haven?t finished the fourth dungeon, but I?m really liking the setup and how you figure things out. Also am I the only one who thinks it?s got a bit of a tomb raider and Indiana Jones feel to it? Not that I mind, it just seems so different with how it?s been done. It?s making it the most entertaining of the dungeons so far. I loved the part where you picked off the monsters with your bow and the item to make it where you can zoom in on them. I rather enjoyed that part. I also enjoyed the third dungeon, and though the boss was easy to figure out, I was rather impressed by the sheer size of the playing field so to speak. At first the fight seemed rather boring, but then it picked up in pace and was more interesting. And of course now that I?ve found out more about the storyline, well the game is picking up nicely.
Say someone here (probably me, because, I mean, come on people.) gives you an amazing gift idea, and you go for it, and your girlfriend swoons as soon as it's presented to her. When she asks you where you got the notion for such a marvelous symbol of affection, you say, "Some guy on the internet suggested it." Not very smooth, eh? I know that you plan to put all your own affection into the gift, no matter where you get the idea, but I think that, looking back on it in later times, you'll appreciate the memory more if it was all of your own design. Just food for thought.
Actually a few of us would think it's sweet that the guy cared enough to ask for help instead of just grabbing the first thing they found for a gift. ;) I'd definitely ask her friends or family if you can and failing that, just do the best you can to pick something out. It will be a hundred times better than the boyfriend who because they didn't know what to get or because you haven't dated for long, ended up getting nothing. Which is pretty awkward when you've gotten something for them.

1 - How do you feel about the statistically low amount of Star Wars porn on the internet? 2 - If you came face-to-face with whatever diety you worship, what would your reaction be?
1 ? Never thought about it since I have no interest in porn for the Star Wars series. I prefer mine to be from another venue altogether. So in the end I hadn?t even noticed that their was any porn for Star Wars. 2 ? In my case it would be a God doesn?t exist scenario, in which case I?d probably just laugh at realizing I was right to begin with. And then I?d just move on since for me it wouldn?t change my life in any real respect. 3 ? I have never snorted something hot out of my nose, nor cold for that matter either. I take it that it?s an unpleasant experience much in the same way accidentally getting water into your lungs is? As for my questions? 1 ? Have you ever broken a bone? If so how? If not what was the next worse thing that happened to you? 2 ? What do you think of pets and do you have one? 3 ? If you were given several million dollars, what would you do with it?

I was wondering if anybody else is coping or trying to cope with a lost family member or close friend. If you have, I know how you feel. You feel sad :animecry: and angry :animeangr for those of you who know a friend who's family member died. You don't know what to say because you don't want to make them feel worse. It's very hard. I know. I've been there.
It?s been long enough since my brother died that I no longer feel like I am trying to cope with it. At first it was horrible and I went from sad to angry to all sorts of intense feelings for the first couple of years. Now as time goes by it?s more of sadness that even though I don?t think about it all the time, it?s always there when ever I think about him.

Everyone is the protagonist of their own story. My question is, who's your antagonist, or what are you trying to accomplish? Is it internal or external? Let's hear about it. I hate that I have to go first, cuz mine is so lame, but it's an internal conflict. My antagonist is my own self and I'm trying to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. Nothing I'm doing now is satisfying, so I need to figure out what is.
Well besides the obvious one of myself, I would have to say mine is a girl who lives close to one of my friends. Apparently she is determined to save him from my wicked influence (since she is religious and I am not) and she literally stalks both me and him when ever we get together to do stuff, whether it?s homework or going out with a whole group of my friends to see a movie. And given a chance she?ll butt in and then spend the whole time bad mouthing me. It?s kind of entertaining and yet annoying at the same time. And the rest of the group finds her pretty annoying for it as well. She behaves more like a jealous ex girlfriend even though she?s never dated my friend and he and I have never dated either. The only good thing is that recently his parents pretty much got tired of her antics and her showing up at their home when ever she knew I was visiting and gave her the option of staying away or having legal action taken against her. Though whether or not that will really keep her away is yet to be seen.

I personally have no interest in joining myspace, but I?m not necessarily against it either. As often as I actually use a blog, myOtaku suits my needs just fine.

Name: Sandra Tessa Luciana & Jared Waldo Scorer Age: Sandra is 50 years old and Jared is 45 Gender: Sandra is female and Jared is male. Race: Both are Versilan. Loyalty: The Versilan Empire. Description: Sandra -- Jared Weapons: Both Sandra and Jason are fully versed in the various forms of disruptors and laser weapons available to the military. Being officers, both of them are also trained to use special explosives. Although they do not use weapons such as swords, guns and other more primitive weapons. Both have received standard training in using such weapons should the need arise. Though their experience is with holographic representations of such weapons and neither one has actually handled a primitive weapon. Special Skills: Being a commander of her own battle ship, Sandra is well versed in military tactics and leadership. Being the only daughter of a member of the High Council, she has also received training in politics as she is a likely candidate to replace her father and thus become one of the members who rule the Versilan Empire once her time serving in the military is completed. Recruited by Sandra to serve as her sub-commander, Jared is also well versed in military tactics. In addition to his training he is also an expert interrogator and is quite ruthless in his pursuit of resistance members. Personality: Sandra is resourceful, dedicated and a bit cold at times. She is accustomed to power and has little to no respect for individual rights, even of her own people. Though occasionally she has a warm side. Jared is ruthless, cruel and takes great pleasure in using others to satisfy his own needs. His dedication to always following through with his duties as a sub-commander before anything else makes him an ideal officer; since unlike others who enjoy tormenting others he never allows his personal agendas to interfere with his sworn duty. Short Bio: Jared stretched as he got up out of bed to get ready for his shift. If felt like only a few days since the resistance had managed to snatch Celestia, Jason, Daniel and Kim from their grasp, not six months. He sighed, in spite of the military?s efforts and the huge bounty on both Celestia?s and Jason?s head, neither one had been captured yet. He quickly finished his shower and toweled himself dry, another moment to dry his silver blonde hair and then he was back to his room to put his uniform on. A quick check in the mirror to ensure that everything was in place and then he was out the door and on his way to the bridge. He ignored the greetings from the crew as he was thinking about their newest mission. Now that the encryption program had been re-written to prevent a system wide virus from deleting everything on the ships main computers, they were back on track to finish preparing for the invasion of Earth. If only Celestia hadn?t written that program. Never in the history of the Versilan Empire had a virus been created that could disable a battle ship. Jared sighed unconsciously. That program had resulted in the military revising things and delaying his pursuit of Jason. If it wasn?t for the fact that the High Council wanted her alive, well he would make sure she only lived long enough to regret having ever wrote it. ?Good morning Jared,? Sandra said as he walked onto the bridge and took his seat next to her. ?Commander,? Jared replied with a nod of his head. ?Come with me sub-commander,? Sandra said as she got up and left the bridge. Jared followed her into the small conference room that was just off of the main bridge. ?Take a seat,? Sandra said indicating the one across from her as she sat down at the small table. Jared did as he was told and waited patiently while Sandra logged into the computer terminal located in the table activating a screen built into it in front of both her and Jared. ?I want you to take a look at this report,? Sandra said as she opened up the file for Jared to read. ?Keep in mind that this is still classified.? Jared looked down at the screen in the table, his eyes widening in surprise as he read what was in the report. ?But that would mean,? he started to say. ?Exactly,? Sandra said, cutting him off. ?High Command is concerned with this new development and for that reason we are going back to Earth to investigate this matter further. You also have a secondary objective that I will be assigning directly to you. I?ll be sending you the full details later.? ?And that objective is?? Jared asked. ?You are to secure Jason?s sister provided she hasn?t already been picked up by the resistance. But our information indicates that she is still on Earth. Commander Crystal will be joining us as well to take care of the other part of your objective once you?ve acquired the earthling.? She said. Jared smiled. ?Understood commander, I?ll start getting prepared for when we arrive at Earth.?

I have a question for you all...lets say you have 2 VERY good friends, one of them being your girlfriend. Well, you soon learn that an ex that they both have in common has raped them before. BOTH of them, not just one, but at two different times. Now, my question is, how would you feel? Would you want revenge? Or would you do something different? Please, post your thoughts on this, cause I SO want to kill the effing bastard.
How would I feel? I don?t know someone close to me, but I work as a volunteer at a women?s crisis center and I deal with domestic violence victims all the time, including rape. It?s a sad, sick, disgusting world where others will do such harmful things to another human being. Would I want revenge? Sometimes I wish I could, but in the end I do not. The best thing to do is to not only be there for your friends should they need a shoulder to cry on, but to also support them in prosecuting the person responsible. The very best revenge you can get is to either get them put in jail and thus forever labeled as a sex offender to make it easier for anyone else who is attacked by them. The very worst thing you can do is try to take matters into your own hands. The person has already shown that they have no issue with doing what they want and if you get in the way, you could get hurt.
In this instance, I don't care how big the idiot is. Peope have messed with me enough that even if they weren't my best friends, I'd still beat the everloving crap out of him. No joke. Jerks like that deserve to feel their own wrath. That's why I'ma vigilante, but unfortunatly, it's illigal. Too bad, because that jerk would wake up in the hospital in the ICU. Untill the real law steps in, just theaten him, and if he does it again...USe your judgement.
You should, because no matter how much you think your rage will let you be able to stop them, unless you are willing to do some serious harm that would get you in trouble, I can guarantee that all he will do is beat the heck out of you. And even if you are willing to seriously harm them, they may still be too much for you to take on. And in the end you will go to jail for assault and that jerk will still be out and able to do what he wants to another victim. Unless this person is bothering the girls, threatening them is also a mistake and extremely foolish. You could escalate it into an even worse situation than they were already dealing with. By all means if he?s after them again, then I?m not saying you should sit still and do nothing, but if that?s not the case and he?s just a jackass who thinks he got away with it. Following a legal course is the best way to really put the hurt on them. Because often these scum think they are above the law and that no one can touch them. And being put in jail only to become someone else's ***** is quite the wake up call.

So far I'm loving the game, although I think I've gone to the third temple a little prematurely - I still only have one special move and I haven't learned any more. My sister was telling me that she had learned one or two more by that stage, so I'm behind her I think, lol.
Hmm, you must have missed them because I?m about to enter the third temple and I?ve got three of the special moves so far.
I do agree with others in the sense that TP is just too easy in termrs of combat...this is disappointing when you also consider that fighting in the game can be so much fun. I would personally rather simpler dungeon puzzles and much tougher enemy battles in Zelda games. TP's dungeon puzzles are okay - nothing too complex yet, but certainly there is plenty of variety to keep things interesting.
If it wasn?t for the other unique aspects this game has to offer, the lack of more serious combat would be a big turn off. But the rest of the game so far has been so much fun that I really don?t care. It would have been nice to have that hard level though, as it would be fun to play it again on a more challenging aspect once I beat it.
Oh and...I have to say, now that I'm used to the Wii version, I don't think I'd want to play this game on GameCube. The manual camera just isn't worth what you'd sacrifice in play control. If you have no choice then sure, the GameCube version is going to be great. But if you own a Wii...I think the choice is a no-brainer.
All the more reason to play the GameCube version first. :p Then you get the best of both words, the Link who is left handed along with the camera advantages, and then later again with the new challenge of getting use to the Wii version. Though due to money constraints, until Nintendo has more than one game I like for the Wii, even Zelda isn?t enough to tempt me to fork out an additional $250.

So far the dungeons or rather quests as well have had interesting new aspects to them, but the first boss was terribly easy to beat so I hope that trend doesn?t continue through out the game. It was still fun since figuring out the dungeon was quite different, but the boss battle was rather anticlimactic in how it was so simple and easy to do.
I just finished the first dungeon and I agree, though fun, the boss battle was way too easy. And yet in it?s defense, it was entertaining to complete.
Well if you?re like me and miss a jump and land in lava.
which by the way, is pretty awesome looking as to how your character just slowly sinks in
that mistake takes quite a bit more than a simple quarter of a heart.
I?m not to a point where there is lava you can fall in, but now that you?ve said that I?m going to have to jump in just to see what you are talking about.
I too do not have the Wii yet, but I do plan on getting Zelda: TP for the GCN at Circuit City since they have a good deal going on right now for only $37.99. However, all of these negative impressions, such as boring intro, unorchestrated soundtrack, easy challenges and bosses are discouraging. [/size']
Well I haven?t played it very far yet so I can?t comment too much on the difficulty or lack of difficulty in the game. But as for the intro, Charles summed it up quite nicely, the opening may seem boring, but it?s setting the tone for literally sucking you into the game. You think you?re getting a grasp as to what?s going on and then the game yanks the ground out from under your feet. It?s very effective in totally immersing you in the storyline. Out of all the Zelda games I?ve played, I think the method of how this one opens is one of the best for it?s deceptive simplicity in setting the stage to pull you into the real story.
Well you know, I would love it if the game had a hard mode but in all honesty, Zelda's always been more about exploration than difficult combat. "Shadow of the Colossus" would probably be a great game for some of you to try if you want a Zelda-like experience with a higher difficulty.
As much as I?d love to see Zelda have different difficulty settings, it certainly won?t stop me from getting the games because in the end, each and every one of them has been enjoyable, regardless of the easy factor as others would put it. And even then I would imagine it has to do with how quickly you figure things out. When I first tried to beat the final boss in Majora?s Mask, I followed the advise of the fairy and got clobbered many times before I went with my own strategy to finally take the boss down. I even had plenty of fairies and other stuff to restore your life and yet that final boss still kept nailing me. And the boss in the shadow temple in OOT was a pain as well. It would get a hold of you and once that happened if you didn?t have a fairy in a bottle, you were history. Something that also happened to me many times. Anyway, back to Twilight Princess, as Des put it the first dungeon set the tone for a far more impressive and unique experience in solving the dungeon and other than the boss fight being a little on the easy side, the rest of it was totally enjoyable and I wasn?t disappointed in it at all. If the rest of the dungeons are just as fun and innovative I can safely say that this will end up being my favorite out of all the Zelda games.

The only advantage I can really think of with the GameCube version is the ability to use a free-look camera.
Well putting aside all the talk about the Wii version, for a poor college student, the biggest advantage is you don?t have to buy a new system to play it. ;) Especially if you already have a GameCube. And speaking of the GameCube version, I just got my copy today. I?ve only played it for a few hours but it?s fantastic. The whole package has a much more polished look , even the rupees have a more three dimensional flair to them. The landscape, from the water to the flowers and grass, it all looks great. It?s defiantly a step up from the previous 64 Zelda games. I?m also liking the set up for accessing your items and how you can easily change your view. I?m still getting use to the wolf form, but it?s definitely quite interesting. The only drawback, I have finals this week so I can?t play it as much as I would like.

In this case i'll say this, potential and actuallity are two totally different things. Men and women both have the potential to be just as strong as one another, but in actuallity men, on the whole, are stronger than women. Do you now see how that is not a contradiction? If women were usually stronger than the other, then it should be men and children first. But it's not that way, and rightfully so.
That makes more sense than comparing capable to strength. But I am curious as to the part about it not being a case of women are stronger and the rightfully so bit. Why is it rightfully so? What brings you to the conclusion that it's right that generally men are stronger? Putting aside the actual physical aspects, what else makes you believe that? Is it religion or some other factor?
As for strength not being more capable, i suppose that makes sense it certain situations, but those weren't the ones i was talking about. I was trying to give an example, but (haha) i didn't. I should've gave a specific example. I didn't mean to say that physical strength made you more capable in "life." In most practical terms it does, but there are situations where it doesn't. And of course there are way too many other things that you need to be successful at life, but i won't even try to get into it. The rest of this argument is pointless, as there's no way to prove your point.[/FONT']
Ah, but I didn?t know that. ;) And now that I do your original post makes more sense instead of coming across as a contradiction. Besides I?m not necessarily looking for you to prove your point, just to understand what your original one was.
I don't fully understand what you mean by your second paragraph...i don't think i disagree with it, or ever did. ::shrug:: Anyways, if you would like to bring up more of my contradictions, please do. I'll explain what i meant...or simply admit that i'm a crazy person that constantly contradicts himself... ^L^ Hell, i'll just admit it now. I'm a crazy person that constantly contradicts myself. =D
That?s fine, I was getting the impression that you yourself thought being stronger made you more capable. But not anymore since you explained further. That paragraph comes from dealing with idiots who have more muscles than actual brainpower. And the mistaken belief that many of them have that being stronger makes them more capable. As for contradicting yourself, don?t we all at some point? ;) But there?s no need to point anything else out as you?ve clarified what you meant. Well other than my question about the rightfully so part as I'm curious to hear your response.

My personal opinion on this matter is that they shouldn't act like true equals because they aren't. To say men and women are equal is to imply that you can judge the two sexes, and you simply can't. Men and women are different, that's all there is to it. Does that mean one has less potential than the other? Of course not. Does it mean one should have less rights than the other? Nope, it's not the case. But it does mean that we should treat each other differently. The man should always protect the women and children first, simply because they are, on the whole, more capable. Now, if it's obvious that a woman is stronger than a man then it should be the other way around.[/FONT']
Nice contradiction you?ve got going there. Being stronger doesn?t necessarily connect into one being more capable. Maybe at lifting weights but not on the entire playing field called life, which is far more than simple strength. First you go on the tangent that neither one has less potential but you then turn around and nullify that statement by saying man should protect the women and children because they are more capable? Aren?t you forgetting the ?Does that mean one has less potential than the other? Of course not? remark at that point? Don?t be fooled into thinking that being physically stronger makes you more capable somehow. I?m sure that?s not what you meant, but you are contradicting yourself quite a bit here. Your whole argument would make sense if you were saying people are not equal, forget the plumbing, and then take a closer look to see if they are really more capable than another person. Because in that sense, you could apply this to guys as well since obviously there are going to be guys who are stronger than other guys and the same goes for women. Anyway, as for the topic, I see nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out. Usually the people I run into who think guys should be the one asking the girls are either going by what their elders tell them or by their religious views. The main religion here in Utah teaches their members that the men are the one who goes out and provides and the woman is the one who stays at home. And that it?s the man?s responsibility to ask the woman out, offer his coat in the cold, etc. It didn?t make them any more capable, as all these boys are doing is what others before them have done. They are following instructions instead of thinking outside the box. I?ve even run into a few who think a girl who asks a guy out is too forward for doing so. So plenty of girls simply won't ask a guy out for fear of being thought poorly of for doing so.

Well it?s time for my two attempts. Not as snazzy as perhaps some of the others, but still fun to put together just the same. ;)

You?re welcome Sandy. ;) It was fun while it lasted. Though I?ll be keeping an eye on it to see who finally makes it out. The only problem I see is that I want all of them to get out! :p

I have this game and I agree, the voice-overs are definitely a vast improvement. In the previous one, in addition to the tinny sound to them, there were a couple that grated on my nerves anyway. Kalas in particular, and being the main character of the story didn?t help it either. I beat the game but I?ll probably never play it again. Anyway, I haven?t finished disk one either, due to school and such, but so far the storyline has been engaging. And I really like how they have you following
two different storylines, though on some level I assume they will end up being related.
I like the battle system for this one much better than the previous game. By having three people use the same deck and the way you either equip a defense mangus or one to increase your weapon, pretty much does away with the need to totally stock up on defensive items. So you can really have a lot of attack mangus in your deck and being able to stack special moves on top of each other is sweet. I only wish they had done the defense or offense so you could have one of each instead of having to choose. Anyway, I like it because the turn over for recovery items is much quicker, no wating for the deck to reshuffle, so even though my characters get pounded on due to the lack of defensive gear, it doesn?t matter. Though you?re right in that the time to pick the cards is on the quick side making it easy to be skipped. So I guess I?d like to be able to equip defense and offense along with a little more time to pick your cards. And by far my favorite aspect of the game is the three main characters Sagi, Guillo and Milliarde. I definitely like all of them much better. Especially the way Guillo and Milliarde love to snip at each other. And Sagi is actually adorable, unlike Kalas. ;)

I couldn?t save her. Joachim thought to himself. He looked down at his sword. What?s the point in even having this if I can?t save someone with it? Forgetting that the sword had already saved his and Callisto?s life several times. ?Hey! Why so glum! We?ll find an exit I?m sure of it!? Callisto said in an effort to cheer Joachim up, as he had been looking rather dejected since the woman had fallen into the river. ?Why are we even here?? Joachim countered. Callisto hesitated, stumped by the question. Joachim stopped and turned back to face him. ?You don?t know do you? So how can you say we will find an exit?? He said irritably. ?You?re right, I don?t know. But thinking like that won?t help us any. We have to believe that there is a way out, we were brought here by someone so there has to be a way for us to get back.? Joachim sat down and leaned against a wall. ?Maybe, but why all the dangerous traps?? He paused and then continued. ?I think they don?t intend to let us go. It?s like some game, watching us attempt to avoid the traps in this place. I bet we aren?t the first ones to have been brought here either.? Callisto sat down next to Joachim. ?Perhaps you?re right, but you could also be wrong. I wish I had an answer, but I don?t. But I do know that I don?t intend to give up without even trying to find a way out.? Joachim got back up. ?I know, I know.? He sighed. ?It?s not like we could stay where we woke up after all?I wonder where the others are?? Callisto got back up as well. ?Lets press on, perhaps we?ll find them.? Joachim turned to continue walking through the maze at the same time a door appeared in the middle of the passage right behind him. It immediately opened and before Joachim could even register what was happening he had stepped through it. He turned around to head back. Startled Callisto moved to follow but before he had taken more than a single step the door slammed shut and vanished. The sound echoing through the long passage way. He swallowed hard and looked around. Now what do I do? When Joachim had turned to continue along the passageway, his momentum had carried him through the door before he realized it. Other than the frame of the door, the other side had simply looked like the rest of the passageway they were already in. But when the door slammed shut behind him he was blinded by a brilliant flash of light and a sensation of feeling as if he were falling came over him, making him feel slightly dizzy. A wave of intense heat flowed around him as the light faded. Joachim gasped in surprise. He was in a huge underground cavern. A bright red glow gave the whole area a surreal appearance. He looked around and stopped when he caught sight of what looked like a giant dragon sleeping in one corner. He stepped back a bit and stopped when he realized that there was an edge behind him. Joachim turned and looked. There was an exit from the cavern on the opposite side, but the only way there was to jump from pillar to pillar. He looked over the edge and down, ignoring the wave of heat that came up. It was a good distance down, but there was no mistake. The pillars were surrounded by lava. One slip, he thought, and I?m dead! A rustling sound from the dragon caused him to whirl around. To his relief the dragon had only stretched and didn?t appear to have awakened. Joachim waited for his pounding heart to settle a bit before looking back at the pillars. I need to find one that?s close. He thought. If it?s too far, the sound of my landing on it could wake the dragon up! He spotting one that looked close enough that a simple jump would do. It was even close to what appeared to be a series of small pillars close to each other. Joachim began to move towards the first pillar.
