1.
It didn?t occur to me that people would imagine a normal forest instead of her home. I suppose that's the drawback of being the author, I already know what it's supposed to look like so I didn't think to put the descriptions first.
Well you certainly caught me by surprise with the description of Briana?s world. I don?t know what I was expecting, but nothing along the lines of what you described. Now that you?ve gone back and restructured the chapter I like it even better as it definitely gets you imagining what it must be like to fly among such trees. On another note, the way Briana keeps thinking about both Mersis and Drasis has me wondering if those two are going to pop up again in the story instead of being dead. I find that I am imagining that those two are prisoners of the Dark Lord she keeps referring too. So I am curious to know their fate. Anyway, excellent work on restructuring chapter three.
 2. That was an excellent chapter. I really like the detail that went into describing Briana?s world as it really made her race stand out as something that was completely different from the human world. The only suggestion I have is the same that Tical Blue already mentioned. I too was imagining that Briana was simply flying through another forest, but your descriptions were something far more than just a simple forest. It would definitely give the chapter a deeper impact if the descriptions were given first. Then your imagination would be of her flying among the giant trees you described.

 4.
See, I like sports. And I know enough about sports so that if my new girlfriend happens to be a Sports Fanatic, I can be one too. At the same time however, I'm not a fanatic myself. Meaning I don't care if I watch or miss the big game. This is just another reason why I remain the perfect guy. :animesigh [/FONT']
Seems like often the perfect guy is either one, living in a different country than you or two much younger than you are. Not that the age thing is a big deal, but in all honesty I?ve never gone out with a guy who was ten years younger than I am. ;) As for the virginity issue, I myself do not belong to a religion, but the people I know here who do belong to the LDS/Mormon church consider something like that a huge issue. It?s a sin for someone to have sex outside of marriage so being a virgin when you get married the first time is expected. After that it?s okay if you aren?t but you are still expected to only have sex if you are married to someone. So for many of the kids here they have been raised to expect their partner to be a virgin. For myself I really don?t care, unless the person is sleeping around all the time and even then it?s only because I don?t want to end up with some of those lovely STD?s running around. Or find out that they cheated on me while we were dating but that too is because I don?t want to be surprised by getting a STD from them because they in turn got it from someone else.
 5. I like pretty much everything that you have listed. Though I tend to lean towards those with more comedy in them as I always enjoy a good laugh. Probably the only thing I don?t really care for in any type of Manga is action and magic spells. It?s not that I don?t think the story doesn?t need it, it?s more of I enjoy seeing that aspect when it has been animated. It just isn?t the same when it?s drawn vs. actually being in action. Though I suppose it has to be drawn to eventually be animated. Anyway, the other thing I really like drama, something that will help the characters grow and develop due to the conflicts being brought up in the story line.
 6.
A what world would you like to visit today folks!

You make it sound like an attraction at DisneyWorld or something! Hehe, that would be downright awesome! ^_^
That actually sounds like it would be fun. Visiting a place that was like DisneyWorld in that you could choose to spend say a day or a week in the anime world of your choice. You could then either choose to stay or come back to the real world and go and visit another anime world. Seeing that there are so many that I would like to try out, this would be ideal. Then if I ever did find one that I really liked I could settle down and stay there, or just come back to the real world if none of them were to my liking.
 7. The date you choose isn?t far enough to really be considered the future in that respect. I might seem like a long time to you, but considering the timeframe of the planet, it?s less than say a second out of a single day. So other than some technological advances, unless we do as SunfallE suggested and have a third world war where we go nuts killing each other, I really don?t see much in the way of change happening in the next thirty or so years. Other than the more relevant one, at least to me, of being an old lady. It doesn?t hurt to be concerned about such things though, otherwise our great, great, great and then some grandchildren will have to attempt to clean up the mess we left behind for them. It?s not that easy though. It?s one thing to say, why don?t you recycle or do other things, when your local government for the most part is not interested in such things since they see little to no profit in such things. Though I suppose you can do your part by commuting when possible, using light bulbs that take less energy, conserving water, etc. If nothing else, at least you will know you tried.
 8. Besides what Aaryanna and her mom already mentioned, the only thing that seems off to me is using this:
The alien who had threatened Jason left the room though the door next to the screen.
instead of some form of description for this character. It seems to be a little bit repetitive to keep referring to him as the one who threatened. Also you might want to separate this paragraph a bit:
He stood there his emotions warring between fear and rage. He wanted to scream! Jason knew he could do nothing to stop them yet he could barely stop himself from trying to somehow save Celestia. The alien smiled as he watched Jason struggle to control himself. Surprisingly this human was rather attractive, he smiled to himself even more, perhaps the captain would let him keep this one for himself when she was finished interrogating him. He turned back to pay attention to the first interrogation.
to make it clearer that there are two different people as to what they are thinking. When the sentence ?Surprisingly?? starts it?s not immediately apparent that you have switched to the alien with Silver Blonde Hair, so it?s a tad confusing and you have to re-read it to make sure you are clear on which character it is. Other than that keep the chapters coming. Which reminds me, did you want any help in preparing the RPG? I have some pretty good ideas if you?d like to hear them. :)
 9. I don?t draw myself so I can?t say that anyone has told me my fan art sucks. But every now and then I get a comment telling me I suck for stealing fan art and using it in the wallpapers I create. It?s kind of funny in a way since the pictures in question come from an art book and the person claiming that I stole from them actually stole from the anime artist who published the book. So in turn I end up turning them in for plagiarizing from an art book from a series by claiming they drew the picture. Personally, and others have mentioned this, I think people are a bit of an idiot when it comes to critiquing art so harshly, either they one, don?t know how to draw themselves, two are just a jerk, or three, haven?t a clue what they are talking about. They assume that since your art may look off to them that you suck when in fact a lot of effort when into your art and they themselves are too ignorant to recognize that. They are also hiding behind the screen of being online instead of saying that too your face. As for myself, when I look at someone?s art I try to tell them what I like and what I don?t like. Not to be mean, but to try and give them something that might help them improve. If I don?t see anything that feels off, then I stick to what I like about it. I never tell someone that they suck, not only is it rude, but it certainly doesn?t help them improve.
 10. I have a request, could you perhaps upload them to a place like imageshack so I could see a larger version? I?d love to tell you what I think, but with such small pictures it?s kind of hard to see the details. Unless that is their correct size, in which case you can smack me.
 11. Before today I would have said no. If I had dreamed of anime in the past I do not remember it. But last night I dreamed about Now and Then Here and There. If you?ve seen it, then I?m sure you can imagine what type of messed up wacky dream it would be. It was very disturbing as instead of being in another world, what was happening in that anime, was happening in our world. Countries and people as we know them were gone, destroyed by the insane leader waging war in that particular anime. Everywhere I went cities and towns had been destroyed, their people enslaved. I was just an ordinary citizen who had somehow managed to escape, but there was no where to go as very few people had survived the madness.
 12.
This is the 1st law of Alchemy we all know what happens to Edward and Al The question I pose to all if you if someone you loved was dead would you make the same sacrifice as they did but this time you could it right and bring the person back correclty but you still lose your parts. would you? and let me also state this their is no Philosopher stone to bring you body back. would you still perform the Alchemy? do you also beleive that when you lost something in Alchemy something greater is gained? or have you just lost everything vaulable to you?
Would I bring someone back? No. As much as death hurts, on some level I don?t think it?s right to cheat it. Do I believe losing something in Alchemy results in something greater being gained? Absolutely not. For one thing, even though this question is hypothetical, it?s still not based in fact. Alchemy does not exist as portrayed in the anime show. And if it did, I still do not think losing something like your legs or other parts means that what you gained is greater, even if it is someone?s life. By being allowed to cheat death, on some level you make life meaningless. If you can simply bring someone back, the fact that they may die becomes irrelevant.
 13. Now that your story has gotten along a little further I?m finding it interesting. The only thing that seems to be missing is more on what or how the characters are feeling. The descriptions and dialogue is fairly well developed, but on some level I don?t feel connected to the characters as it seems like too much of what they are feeling is taken for granted. Take Ria, she?s looking to be quite the mean character, but on some level I don?t see what makes her tick. Though I suppose that later you might be explaining that. Anyway, good job.
 14.
Now, keep in mind i'm not talking about any random child picked up by deciet on the internet. I'm talking about those girls who put up headlines like "its nice...to be naughty" with pictures of themselves scantily clad on their web pages. You can't say that they just didnt know any better. Behaivior such as that is asking for that kind of attention.
I?m not saying that this type of behavior isn?t going to get them in trouble, only that they lack the maturity to make safer choices when putting information about themselves on the internet. Even if it attracts attention, it?s still someone who is considered incapable of making decisions for themselves.
go on myspace and browse around. i can guarantee that 75% of every underage user on there has innapropriate and self degrading things on their sites, AND overexaggerate their age saying they're 20 or older. (my 12 year old neighbor down the street said she was 22 and all the little girls on her friends list had similar ages.) Just look at a few and you'll see my point for blaming them. SO, if i were to put up pictures of myself dressed like a slut and overexaggerate my age on the internet and put up buddy icons all over my page suggesting sexual innuendos, i'll never get picked up by a child molestor, will I?
Actually a lot of predators want children incapable of defending themselves. So if a 13 year old is lying and saying she is 22, for some types of predators, that?s a turn off and they will look elsewhere. It?s one of the reasons that police working to catch online predators will pose as a teenager who is usually 16 or younger. So ironically, lying about your age can actually protect you, especially if you are only 12.
That is why in those cases, I shed some blame to them. Its common sense that you don't lie about your age and wear revealing clothes. Its common sense that such things will get you the wrong kind of attention, girls like THAT are asking for it. Oh, and thanks for the page, I thought that boys were generally molested by people they know or random predators, not people who find them on the internet.
I already mentioned that kids are not born with the knowledge that doing such things is bad. Common sense differs from religion to race to country and so on. It is not instinctive. If any blame is to be placed, it would have to be on parents or other adult figures for failing to properly educate their children on the dangers. And yes some kids are still going to do it anyway in spite of being told. But they are not asking for it. They do not truly understand what they are asking for. Many of them do it to impress their friends or to appear grown up when they are not. It?s why they are not considered adults and why we have laws about statutory rape. Whether she or he wants it is or is asking for it is irrelevant. And basically, no one deserves to find out the hard way that they were an immature foolish child. As for the page, you?re welcome. There?s a lot of misconceptions about Internet Predators, which is why I posted the link. ;)
 15.
Being long-winded.
That is the truest and funniest post I've read in a long time. :p And just so there's no confusion. You know we love you Fasteriskhead, right? ;) Anyway, I've probably best known among my friends for analyzing things and picking movies apart. I'm a psychology major and I find I can't help but attempt to analyze things especially since movies are so out of whack with the real world. It's something I try to leave behind online though I don't know if I succeed or not. The other thing I'm known for is being intimidating. I think I got that one from being the one who will point out that someone is cheating in a game. My other friends will politely ignore it where I outright embarrass them for doing it. I suppose it's okay since my friends seem to find it hilarious, though the person cheating usually ends up never coming back to play again. They tell my friends that when I?m there they feel intimidated. Not my fault if they are going to cheat.
 16.
How important is it to you to play a character in an RPG? (That is, play a specific character, rather than generally contribute to the overall story while writing for several characters.) And from that, how important is it to play a character that you have created? Would you rather play a canon character from an existing story, or play a character that the OP of the RPG has created? Please don't reply to this as a numbered survey. I'd just like to hear some thoughts on the topic. My questions are just to get the conversation going.
Well first of all I?d like to clarify that I?ve done very little in the way of role playing. However I can state what I think based on what I?ve done so far. For one thing, I?ve never played an RPG where I wrote for several characters, so playing for a specific character is just fine. I?ve done one where I had to choose from a list and others where I had to make the character up. Both of them were quite fun. So to only play a character that I created, well it just doesn?t seem that important to me. On some level I think it?s fun to try and learn to be a character that you did not create, it requires a bit more creativity on my part to try and fit that character. To write in a manner that is consistent with who and what they are. As for playing a canon character or one that the OP created. Both sound like they would be fun. Again my lack of RPG experience is coming in to play so I have yet to experience the downside of both aspects. Overall, I?ve just been enjoying doing RPG?s even if the character is something I created or one that I picked from a list.
 17. It?s the right area of the boards for this type of request but the wrong section. With that being said?*moves to Art by Request* Also I would recommend reading the sticky in this area titled: Art by Request Rules You might want to clarify just what it is you want, you?ll have a much better response if you do. I also went ahead and changed your title to reflect what you are interested in. For future reference, I suggest you take a look at the Rules and FAQ which can be located on the left side bar of the forum. You can also pm myself or another member of the staff if you have any questions. I promise, we don?t bite. ;)
 18. I think everyone else has pretty much already mentioned everything I noticed, like rounding out her hips and boobs a little, to the one pixel line on her leg that looks out of place. Her right arm and hand do seem to be at an odd angle to me as if they were reversed? Perhaps giving her fingers like Retribution suggested would help with that? Anyway, over all, that?s one amazing picture. The choice of colors and over all effect is great. I especially love her hair and the tail of the peacock.
 19. The thing I like best about the hippy banner is the bright vivid colors. When I think of Hippies I think of tie dye clothing and that just reminds me of that. The only thing I don?t care for is the red of the symbol behind it. It just seems to clash a little. As for your first banner ever. In spite of the distortion of the background, the flames in the front look really nice. That have a good color and flow to them. Much better than my first banner, which I deleted so it would never see the light of day. :)
 20. Most recently the one show I watched that made me stop and really think was Now and Then Here and There. It?s about Shu a typical boy who is pulled into a strange desert world. Within a very short time he is drawn into a pointless war that really shows some of the true terrors of war like genocide, brutal torture, hunger, thirst, child exploitation and rape. It?s the type of show that makes you stop and think on how just insane war really is.
 21. Well your poems may be simple, but they convey the message just fine. The first one is a tiny bit confusing as I?m not sure as to what you are referring to with the statement: closing day. The second one seems to be put together a little better, but it seems like it ends too soon. I find myself looking for the next sentence or set of sentences to wrap it up so to speak.
 22. Another excellent chapter. I agree with Tical Blue, it is much easier to read now that you went back and made all the direct thoughts in Italics. I also agree with your mom, the way Briana bossed him around was perfect. It really fit with how I pictured her from the first chapter. Anyway, I look forward to the next installment.
 23. Well it may be the middle of summer, but one of my friends recommended the Mannheim Steamroller- Christmas album and I just got it in the mail the other day from Amazon. It involves a blend of Renaissance-flavored moods and instrumentation (strings, harpsichord, flute, French horn) intertwined with polite pop instrumental music. So if you like that type of sound, then this is definitely the album for you. I've enjoyed it so much that I plan on getting the rest of the albums they have done for Christmas music.
 24. The day I changed is the day my brother was killed by a drive by shooting. I was right there when it happened and there was nothing I could do. I say it changed my life because it made me realize just how fleeting life is and how you can?t afford to let arguments or other things hold you down. You think to yourself, I can apologize tomorrow, or I can do this tomorrow, but the reality is that for you or someone else, there is no tomorrow. So though the whole experience was horrible, and I still have the occasional nightmare, it made me appreciate the other things in my life more instead of taking them for granted. It also made me realize that the idea that bad things happen to others is just an illusion. It can happen to anyone at anytime, which is why appreciating what you do have is so important.
 25. There's not much to my desktop, just some pictures from the next adult video game I intend to get.
