Comments issue should be fixed.. minus a couple glitches here and there. We're still working on it, please be patient.
Understood, I was begining to wonder if I was just imagining things. But I see that I was not the only one having the problem. I'm like SunfallE in that I don't understand what is involved in setting up a new server or on how it accesses the databases, so I do not mind waiting as it is obvious you all work very hard on this site. And like you said in the other post, other sites are really slow and have endless problems, that's what I like about this one. The problems are few and far between. Excellent work.

This whole ordeal was a bit on the surreal side. Why are they giving us weapons? Kei thought. Are there so many of these creatures that they need our help? Hell! They don?t even really know who we are! Or do they? Kei looked around at all the weapons and ammo in the room. Kei noticed a set of guns, he looked over at Brady questioningly. ?Go ahead, regular guns won?t work, just be sure to get plenty of ammo while you are at it.? Brady said. He turned back to open a long silver box. Kei picked up a small backpack with ammo and put it on. He also fastened the holster belt around his waist and then fastened the lower part of the holsters around his legs to keep them from slapping around. He was a fairly decent shot with a gun and it would give him a back up if something happened to the blade Brady had loaned him. He turned back to see Brady putting different blades under his coat. He turned to Kei handed him the other blade and said. ?Always need a partner.? Kei found a set of sheaths that strapped to the back. He put them on and then put the back pack back on over them, making sure he could easily reach up over his head and draw the blades. ?I?m trusting you with the gunners spot, you miss one it?s your ass.? Brady said as he turned the key starting the engine. Kei got in and positioned himself. ?I?m a fairly decent shot,? he said. ?And thanks for loaning me your blades, I?ll be sure to be careful with them.? Brady just raised his eyebrow at that statement and turned back to what he was doing. ?God I love this car.? Brady said to himself. Kei just settled in and waited for what was going to happen next. Ruby watched in horror as the troll picked up an enormous rock. ?Damn!? He swore under his breath. He moved in behind the troll and stabbed it in the spine but not in time to stop it from throwing the rock. In short order the troll was dead, but Javen was pinned by the huge rock and despite their efforts, it was too heavy for them to move. ?Here? Javen handed Ruby a map showing the way out of the cave and into the forest. It also showed that they would be crossing a desert and then a marsh before reaching what looked like a temple on the map. Ruby listened as Javen finished explaining what they were suppose to do. Damn it all to hell! He thought. Javen ordered them to leave and Ruby walked over and knelt next to Javen. ?I told you to leave.? Javen whispered. Ruby took out a small seed and handed it to Javen. ?What?? He started to ask. ?If anything else should come for you while you are pinned here, eat that seed.? Ruby paused and then continued. ?It will give you a quick and painless death as no man deserves to be eaten alive. You can keep it, or toss it. It?s up to you.? Ruby got up and left without looking back. He didn?t really want to be in charge, but at least he did have some command experience from being a mercenary. He paused before leaving the caves into the forest and whispered, ?Go quickly my friend to what ever awaits you in the hereafter.? Ruby could tell that the elves were upset. They must be blaming themselves for what happened. He thought. He had seen it all too often on the battlefield. He watched as Suzu?s blade changed to say ?Eternal Avenger? Hell! He thought. That?s the last thing we need. Magical blades were useful, but all too often the damn things had a mind of their own. He preferred to avoid them if possible as they usually attracted trouble. ?Listen up everyone.? Ruby said. They all turned to look at him. ?I didn?t ask to lead your group but I intend to honor Javen?s last wish before he died and continue the hunt for the Scion. You might be wondering why Javen asked me to lead so I?ll tell you. Before I joined your hunt for the Scion I had just finished a three-year tour as a mercenary Captain. I was working in the Inn as the last battle I was involved in; the front line was completely destroyed, including my company; other than a few men. There were so many of the enemy that we were literally overrun.? Ruby paused and then continued. ?I want to find the Scion so we can put an end to the madness the war has caused. I?ll do my best and I?m counting on each of you to help me. And one other thing?Sashanea and Kalysta, stop blaming yourselves for his death. There was nothing you could have done.? Both elves were expressionless but he knew they were blaming themselves. He had been around elves enough to know that they were feeling that way. Their very body language was showing their distress over the subject. Ruby turned to leave and stopped. The others who had started to follow him stopped as well. ?Before I forget, the map shows that we will be crossing a desert after the forest and then a marsh. I may not be able to read what is on this map, but this symbol,? he pointed to one near the edge of the forest, ?I?ve seen it before and it usually means there are Orcs around so everyone be careful.? He looked at each of them in turn and also said. ?Any suggestions?? They had none. ?All right, lets go.? They left the cave entrance and began to work through the forest, keeping an eye out for Orcs.

Kei could see that the creatures would be upon him before he could get to the safety of the locker room door. Damn! He thought. At least Heart had managed to get the others to safety. He debated making a run for it when another one of the students entered the gym. Before he could cry out a warning the other student pulled out a set of blades and swiftly took out one of the creatures. ?Use this.? He said and tossed one to Kei. He caught the blade without a second thought and swiftly cut the remaining creature down. Where the hell did he get this? Kei thought to himself. It was the nicest blade he had seen since he left his country and came to attend school here. He didn?t get to think too much about it as after a few questions and following him to find out what was happening he took the blade back and then turned around and handed it to Kei once again. Heart followed him as well. Kei was confused but he wanted to know what the hell was going on in this school. And just what those strange creatures were. And why was he worried about someone being scratched? Were they infected with something? Within a very short time they ran into more students from his class. But after hearing a bit regarding headquarters and hiding it from the media he was beginning to wonder if the others weren?t even students. Kei mind raced furiously with the possibilities until he caught the tail end of Ross saying ??Kei Winder?and he is so happy to be here.? Kei just raised an eyebrow at that statement. I really need to pay attention. He thought. This is just too confusing. He waited until they finished explaining a little and then followed along as they headed towards where the others were. Well this is certainly the strangest first day of class I?ve ever had. He thought as the hurried down the hallway.

Sena was disappointed that they had not had the chance to fight those of the light yet. And he wasn?t too thrilled about how things had turned out. He had wanted a chance to torture the neutral or someone, he didn?t care who. Interestingly enough Alcina seemed to change even though she had changed back. That?s because since she used her powers of Lust on the neutral it was like a poison and now that he was killed by one of us she has gained power from the kill. Destruction said in his mind. So she gains power every time we kill if they have been poisoned by her power of Lust? Sena asked. Yes, all of you will gain power from those you kill. Destruction said. Sena smiled. That was interesting. He wondered how much power he would gain from completely destroying the girl with blue-black hair that had been chosen by the light. Destruction laughed delightedly in his mind. You never forget someone once you have decided you want to kill and torture them do you? Sena just smiled even more. Just thinking about all the things he was going to do to her was enough to get him excited. The desire was so strong it was almost unbearable.

Ruby handed the torch to Javen and followed as they started to explore the tunnel. When they entered the large cavern filled with bones and armor he was careful to avoid stepping on anything that would make noise. It made no difference, as there was already a Troll there as it immediately stepped into the light. When Sahanea talked about blinding it Ruby smiled to himself. He reached into one of his pouches and tossed a small item among the dry brittle bones. He pulled his sword free of its sheath. It had been awhile since he had run into a Troll. They looked clumsy and slow, but they were surprisingly quick. Ruby grabbed a torch from a sconce in the wall with his free hand and reached over to light it from the torch Javen was holding. He waited for the others or the Troll to make the first move. When the time was right he would throw the torch into the dry brittle bones with the item he had just placed there. The others would understand and shield their eyes, the Troll on the other hand would be blinded by the sudden flash, giving them time to move in and finish it off. Ruby waited for the moment to strike.

Kei watched as Heart finished practicing and then came over to take a seat and rest. Other students began to enter the gym, some in uniforms others who were not. Heart had barely sat down when a chilling screech came from somewhere in the school. Kei jumped to his feet at the same time Heart did. The other students froze as well looking towards the entrance to the hallway. ?What was that?? Heart asked Kei. Kei shook his head. ?I don?t know.? In all his life Kei had never heard anything like that before. Something was wrong, he started to move towards the doors, which were open to the hallway and stopped when he caught movement. Heart was right behind him and accidentally ran into him, she started to say something but Kei motioned her to be quiet. Heart followed Kei?s instructions and said nothing further. Heart stood behind Kei and slightly to the right so that she could get a better view of what was moving in the hallway. Kei couldn?t make out what it was but its movements were unnatural. Thinking it might be some type of animal on the loose he pulled out a band that was tucked into the sash around his waist and in a matter of seconds pulled up his long hair and specially bound it at the nape of his neck like he did for martial arts competitions. He motioned for Heart to slowly move backwards as it was better to avoid confronting wild animals that were loose. One of the creatures moved close enough to the door that Kei and Heart could see that it was black with red patches on it. He heard her gasp in surprise and then stifle the sound to avoid attracting its attention. What the hell is that thing? Kei thought. He watched, as the thing seemed to be considering entering the gym. Some of the girls at the other end of the gym caught sight of the creature and began to scream in panic. Instantly the creature turned towards the noise and charged the panicking girls. Kei swore under his breath and intercepted the creature with a powerful kick to its side. It went flying across the gym and hit the wall. Within a matter of seconds it was back on it?s feet and lunging towards Kei. Kei grabbed the closest thing he could find, one of the chairs. He threw one directly at the creature and while it knocked the chair aside he swung with all his might with another chair hitting it in the head on the side. The creature was knocked over by the blow and before it could get up again Kei closed in and used the chair to ram one of the legs through its head. There was a sickening wet crack as the skull gave way and black blood splattered all over the floor around the creature. ?Kei! Watch out! There are more of them!? Heart cried out. Kei turned to see more of them coming in from the hallway. Damn! He thought. If only I had my blades! Kei grabbed another chair and prepared himself. ?Heart! Get the others into the locker room and barricade the doors! Quickly!? He said. Heart didn?t even hesitate, she ran over to get the girls who were frozen in panic into the locker room where they would be safer. One of the creatures saw her running and turned to chase her. Kei cut the creature off with a swing of the chair sending it flying. The two remaining creatures began to move in on Kei. I need my blades! Kei thought. Chairs aren?t going to work for long! He slowly backed up towards the door where Heart was dragging the girls to. If he was lucky they could all barricade themselves inside.

You are asking for advice on how to get rid of the club. So I will tell you how to do so. If you are attending a school that receives funds from the government then the only way to remove such a club would be for your school district to not allow any non-curriculum clubs. The reason for this is because of The Federal Equal Access Act, which requires most schools (Specifically those who receive Federal aid, private schools are not subject to this act) to permit clubs of all religions, and none. Included might be groups, which deal with Atheism, Goth Culture, Heavy Metal music, Satanism, Wicca and other Neopagan religion. Any school that receives Federal financial assistance must abide by this act. If you really want to know more about the act then here?s a link to more information on it. The Federal Equal Access Act. Unless the people who belong to the ?Youth for Christ? are being disruptive the club cannot be denied from forming a club as their right to do so is protected by The Federal Equal Access Act. It can?t be denied based on other people?s perception that it will be disruptive, or on the misconduct of those who are not students or a member of the club. So if you really want it gone, you will have to convince the school district that it and all non-curriculum clubs need to be discontinued. If they remove only the ?Youth for Christ? club then members of the club will be within their legal right to sue the state for violating The Federal Equal Access Act. This law was put in place back in August 1984 and since then several religious clubs have successfully sued the school districts and won the right to have their club. If you attend a private school then they have the legal right to deny any club they choose.

I pick other as everyone on the list has the capacity to be a horrible villain. Evil, cruelty and other such things do not fall under just one gender or age group. If you seriously think about it being evil is a choice one makes and anyone can do it. It?s true for both anime and for real life. Bullies among children are of both genders, and in teenagers. And murder and other crimes are committed by both sexes. Each one may have areas in which they might excel, but all of them can be true villains.

Kei walked into the gym to find that Heart was practicing for the volleyball game. He quietly found a spot to sit and just watched, as he didn?t want to interrupt her training. Once she was done he could ask here where the game was being held. She continued to practice and when she noticed him sitting there watching she just flashed him a smile and continued what she was doing. Kei pulled out the cell phone his aunt and uncle had given him and quickly called leaving them a message that he would be at school till later due to the game. He put it away and pulled out his homework. It wouldn?t take him very long to do the assignments given to him. He quickly finished the assignments, got up and left the gym briefly to put his things away in his locker and then came back and sat back down. He continued to watch Heart, prepare. Kei figured the game would be quite interesting as she was obviously in good shape.

Lovely. Ruby thought. He could read the inscription just fine, though he sure as hell wasn?t about to tell anyone. Last thing he wanted was for the two elves to realize he understood their language just fine. He sighed. He had wanted to come to look for the Scion but he didn?t feel to keen on exploring an underground passage that the elves themselves had warned was dangerous. They were usually quite accurate in their warnings. One of these days your curiosity will be the better of you. His inner conscious nagged. Oh shut up, he thought back at it. Sure he was like that. It was part of what started him on the path of being a mercenary; he wanted to know what war was like. Well that and other reasons as well. Ruby ignored what the others were doing to a certain extent and focused on keeping watch for other predators that might be attracted by the blood spilled when they had killed the Kalsin. Whether they went in the door or continued on their way someone had to keep watch. He sighed inwardly, knowing his luck they would be going though the door, but then if the Scion were so easily found they wouldn?t be looking for it, as someone else would have found it already.

Kei followed Heart?s instructions and true to what she said the teacher was busy talking with her boyfriend on the phone. She took his detention paper signed it and practically shoved him out the door. It was the first time he had ever seen a teacher behave in such an unprofessional manner. Back home that would have gotten her fired on the spot if she had been discovered by the main faculty doing what she did. Talk about weird. He left the room and decided it might be interesting to watch the volleyball game after all. Perhaps the uniform Heart had been wearing was for that game. It would certainly give him a valid excuse to not go home. Last thing he wanted was another lecture from his aunt and uncle on how he should feel so privileged at being allowed to come to their country and attend school. They would probably be pleased that it appeared he was taking an interest in the new school so to speak. Kei sighed as he headed back towards the gym. Everything was such a headache, being forced to leave his practice blades behind since customs wouldn?t allow a teenager to bring weapons into the country. Being treating like a child by the teachers here. Hell he was probably smarter than most of the teachers as he had attended one of the top schools in the world! The classes had been beyond boring, as other than cultural differences and learning a bit more about the nuances in the language here he already knew what was being taught! He wasn?t a genius, but part of the requirement to be part of the martial arts team competing for the national championship required that you also have nearly perfect grades! Which meant he would have to do the stupid assignments here or it would reflect bad on his record when he finally returned. But what irritated him the most was the one teacher who tried to make him cut his hair short claiming it didn?t fit school regulations! He had been beyond tempted to send her flying through the school window even though they were on the second floor. She was beyond ignorant and had no idea what an insult her suggestion was! He had stood his ground as his religion and code of ethics could not accept her demand that he cut his hair, and she had dragged him to the principal?s office in an attempt to get the principal to force him to comply. Fortunately the papers regarding his transfer had specified that his religion and ethics in his country forbid the school from demanding that he cut his hair and the principal refused her demand. But the black look she threw his way made him realize that she was bound to give him grief over anything she possibly could. Talk about childish! At least the principal had seemed sympathetic and apologized for her rude behavior once she left the room. He had reassured Kei that he would never condone them violating his rights, as he saw no problem with him having such long hair. Kei sighed yet again as he walked down the hallway towards the gym. This was going to be a very long school year.
Well, I thought I'd dig up this thread and contribute to it again. A few people have updated their myOtaku intro images since this thread was last used, so it may be useful to others as well.
I had seen the images that you use on your site, but until I saw this thread I didn't realize that they were meant to be an introduction. So when I redesigned my site based on fan art another member drew at my request I made this to go along with my profile introduction. What a fool. Sena thought as he watched the neutral die. If he had just stayed away he would still be alive. At least for now, but he had been obsessed with Lust and just like Destruction had said, it was like a poison and he had been consumed by it. Even in the end the fool thought that she would save him. When Karne told him to help dig a grave to bury him he did as he was told. Personally he could care less about a grave, but if darkness wanted one then he would do as told. Obviously they still had aspects of their humanity if they felt no one should die like that. It made no sense to him. You destroyed your enemy and he chose to die without a fight. Not his problem. But it bothered him, something was off and he couldn?t tell what it was. First of all the waves of greed from Diane felt strange somehow and he instinctively knew it was not because she had changed back for the day. But he didn?t know why it felt off. And Alcina was attempting to hide it but for one trained as he was it was obvious she was hurt by the neutral?s death. Your companions are flawed. He thought accusingly at Destruction. I can understand a bit why Darkness would provide a grave but both Lust and Greed are unstable and unpredictable. Destruction just laughed. Of course they are! They are female after all. And how does that affect things? Sena thought. They posses the power of creation as all females do. It makes forming a bond a bit chancier than it does to form one with a male. Destruction said. Then why bother choosing them? Sena thought back. Once again Destruction laughed. Because women are instinctively more attuned to greed and Lust, as males are more prone to darkness and destruction. Destruction paused and then continued. I can tell that you don?t fully trust them. Good. The only one you should trust is Darkness. Karne is well suited to the task. Continue to keep an eye on both of them. Remember, even if their hosts are a bit off, their power is still quite useful to our cause. Sena sighed inwardly as he felt himself changing back to normal. He still felt a bit of the effects of the transformation but most of it faded away. He looked down and saw that his clothing was back to normal. He sighed inwardly again. Sure the neutral was dead, but he been hoping to look for those who possessed the stones of light. He waited to see what Karne wanted to do next.

Kalsin? Ruby thought. Well they certainly die easily enough. In fact a little too easy. He looked around expecting something else; his instincts were telling him that the blood they were spilling would attract other inhabitants of the forest. ?Javen? He started to say. ?I know, we need to get moving as soon as we can? Javen replied. Ruby continued to dispatch the Kalsins that attacked, he had killed so many and yet they just kept on coming. Just how many of them are there? He wondered. Everyone was doing well but for how long? Ruby was starting to feel nervous. He wanted to finish and put some distance between him and the corpses of the slain Kalsin. He didn?t want to hang around to see what would come to scavenge the dead. Once again a Kalsin attacked and once again Ruby cut it in half before it hit the ground. Another one advanced and he raised his sword to strike again.

Kei was walking towards the front entrance when a voice called out. ?Kei Wilder!? He froze. Damn! He thought. He turned around. Sure enough it was the annoying teacher from earlier. The teacher marched right up to him until they were nearly touching. ?You failed to talk to me after class and you deliberately ignored me earlier.? The teacher handed him a slip of paper. ?You are to report to detention young man and I?ll be checking tomorrow to make sure you attended, so get going. The class number is on the paper I gave you.? The teacher turned and left. Kei swore under his breath. He looked at the paper and turned around and started to look for the classroom for detention. ?Hey Kei!? Exasperated he turned to see who was calling him this time. It was one of the girls from class. She was wearing what appeared to be some type of uniform. He didn?t know what for though as it was different than any of the uniforms used at home. ?That?s your name right?? She asked. Kei nodded and rolled his eyes a bit. She just smiled and said. ?Of course you are. Because you?re so excited to be here!? Kei raised an eyebrow at that statement. She just smiled again and said. ?Sorry, I have a long memory. Where are you heading?? Kei considered for a moment and answered. ?Detention.? The girl frowned slightly and then said. ?Let me guess, the teacher felt you weren?t as excited as you claimed earlier.? ?Naturally,? Kei said. ?Though the fact that we were being treated like children didn?t matter.? He sighed. She seemed sincere enough. ?I wasn?t paying attention earlier so I didn?t catch your name.? ?I?m Heart Kelyn.? She said with a smile extending her hand to shake his. Kei took her extended hand and was surprised by her firm handshake. Well, she?s definitely not timid. He thought. ?Pleased to meet you.? He said with a slight bow. ?Perhaps we could talk later, but right now I have to get to the detention class or I?ll never hear the end of it from my parents. Do you know where this classroom is?? He handed her the paper the teacher gave him and waited for a reply.

Kei was glad when classes finally ended. God what a bore. He thought. I wonder if this place actually has any clubs or places where I can continued my martial arts training? Or where I can get a set of blades since I couldn?t bring them overseas with me. He wondered Kei sighed as he worked his way among the students to his locker. He left what he didn?t need inside and took the rest with him as he already had homework that he would be required to do. Kei slammed the locker door shut, causing a few students near him to jump. He ignored their reaction and turned to leave. Some of the other new students seemed to be flocking together and heading somewhere. Part of him was curious and another part didn?t care. He stood there, debating whether or not to follow and see what they were up to or to just leave the school for the day. ?Kei Wilder!? Someone said. Kei turned and grimaced. It was the annoying teacher from the first class. He had left the class without meeting with the teacher. Well that settled it for the moment. He turned and quickly followed one of the other students ignoring the calls of the teacher from behind him. He lost the teacher among the flow of students, but he also lost track of the girl Mae that he had been following. ?Hell!? He swore. He looked for a way out of the school instead. Maybe he could find out what they were up to tomorrow. Not that it really mattered, he was just curious as they moved different than the other students. They moved like they were trained. He headed down one of the hallways to find an exit.

Ruby had been near the Darkwood forest but he had never entered it. He would have preferred to avoid it, but it would be interesting to actually explore it. The others seemed indifferent but Sahanea actually seemed excited to enter the forest. Javen seemed to be well prepared as there was someone waiting for them inside the forest. He gave them instructions before they continued on their way. When it came time to follow the instructions he was not surprised that they were for a trail off the main path. ?Well Javen care to guess what can get us since we won?t be staying on the main path?? Ruby grinned. ?I know that I for one will not be staying behind.? Javen just smiled and said. ?I wouldn?t want to spoil the surprise. You?ll see soon enough what lurks within the darkness among the trees.? Ruby waited to see if the others were going to continue on the journey as well.

Kei stepped into the new school cursing under his breath. He didn?t want to go to a different country just for the experience. Hell! He had been in position to win the national martial arts competition back home! But his parents had refused to budge, convinced that he need a break from it. He sighed inwardly; you don?t take a break from martial arts training. But his parents just assumed it was a temporary thing with him. And even after arguing with them for days they still insisted he come. Kei walked down the hallway towards his new class, he was certainly getting some odd stares. Probably the way I?m dressed, he thought. They sure did dress weird here. He ignored the looks and once he found the room he took a seat in the middle towards the back of the room. He watched as the other students came in and then the teacher. The bell rang and the teacher started on the usual spiel of lets welcome the new students. Kei sighed and stood up when the teacher told them too. He watched as the first student started introducing himself and as a late student came in interrupting the process. We aren?t brainless little kids. He thought. This is stupid! ?Hey!? Kei looked at the teacher. ?I said you?re next, come on up and introduce yourself.? Kei ignored the teacher and just stood there. ?Are you sure you are in the right class teacher?? ?Excuse me?? The teacher said. Kei sighed and said sarcastically in a tiny child like voice. ?Hi, my name is Kei Wilder! I?m just so excited to be here!? He sat down as some of the other classmates snickered at his response. The teacher ordered the class to be quiet. ?I want to speak to you after class Kei,? the teacher said. ?Whatever,? Kei said. I?m going to clobber my parents when this stupid exchange program is up. He thought to himself.

Ruby was still fighting towards the elf that was unconscious when Javen and the town militia started showing up. The orc left the elf and instead attempted to escape. Ruby cleaned up his sword and walked back over to the tavern where the other three were. He left the elf lying on the ground. She was uninjured and didn?t need his help. ?Ruby, you got a horse? Cause if you don?t then I will buy you one.? Javen said. Ruby grinned. ?No mercenary ever goes anywhere without a horse. It?ll only take me a minute to go get my stuff.? He walked into the stable, quickly prepared his horse and walked into the inn to grab a few things. He came back out and fastened his packs to the horse before walking out with him to where the others were. Once outside he quickly mounted and then sat there with the others while they waited on the elf to retrieve her bow and arrows. When she came back out Ruby couldn?t help but smirk a bit. Sure she may be good with a bow,he thought but take that away and she's weak. Admittedly elves weren?t as strong as humans, but it was obvious she didn?t have any training in hand to hand combat. Well, at least not very much anyway. She look at all of them and finally said, ?What!?? He looked away and coughed a bit to hide the fact that he was snickering a bit. ?Fine!? He heard her say, ?I?m sorry for being stuck up.? Ruby just turned to see what Javen wanted them to do.

Sena did as Karne asked and went to check on the neutral. He already knew that Lust had not killed him, so he was not surprised to find him gone. There were no signs of a struggle, which meant Lust had let him go. She?s a fool. He thought. Perhaps. Destruction whispered. But then she has not killed before and Lust is known for tormenting her hosts to bring out her full power. He walked back and explained to Karne, he was not surprised to feel how furious he was with Alcina. Nor was he surprised when the neutral walked back out of the darkness. Well maybe a little surprised that he came back so quickly. He started to move to attack but held back when Karne pushed the neutral so he was facing Lust. This time Lust didn?t waste any time and flew at him. The fight didn?t last long as she was quickly knocked out. The neutral quickly threw a smoke bomb within seconds of her blacking out. Sena pulled back out of the range of the smoke, coughing slightly and watched their shadows in the smoke as the neutral took off with Lust. He thought about taking them down but he didn?t have a clear shot. He already had permission to take the neutral down but not Lust and without being able to see clearly he could end up hitting Lust. Before it wouldn?t have mattered, as he never gave a second thought about killing others along with his intended target. But Lust was one of Karne?s members and he wouldn?t kill her unless ordered to or if she were to rebel against Karne. Sena sighed and let them go. As the smoke cleared he turned to Karne to see what he wanted him to do.

Sena sighed. Watching Lust was kind of.. Boring? Destruction whispered in his mind. I didn?t want to say it but yes. Sena thought back. Of course it?s boring to you, your methods are far more direct, but for Lust this is how she gets her power. It may seem ineffective or slow but each and every time her power is used on someone they are slowly destroyed. Think of it like a slow acting poison. Destruction said. Well that would certainly make more sense. Sena thought. About my clothes.. Destruction chuckled. I wondered how long it would before you would ask me about that. You are thinking that they leave you open and that by being so close it lets others see the best spot to strike. Sena didn?t reply, as it was exactly what he had been thinking. Destruction laughed again. Your literal mindedness to detail is what I like most about you. For starters, your clothing is no longer clothing in the exact sense. It is actually an armor of darkness. Armor? Yes. It may look thin and transparent but it is quite strong. The way it fits so closely is to keep it from interfering with your movements and the way it leaves nothing to the imagination is a distraction. And a weapon to install fear in others. Destruction said. Sena sighed and dropped the subject. He was more interested in killing and Alcina had dragged the neutral out of sight. She?s not going to kill him you realize that don?t you? He asked Destruction. Don?t worry so much. Lust?s host is not like you and Karne. She has yet to actually kill. When the time comes she will either kill the neutral or she herself will die, as Lust will abandon her for a new host. Right now she is taking well to her power so all is well. Sena said nothing more to Destruction, maybe once Lust was finished they would get to go and have some fun.

Once things settled down Ruby went downstairs to start cleaning things up. Even if he had agreed to go with Javin on his search for the Scion he was still working for the owner of the tavern. He explained that he would be leaving in the morning with the others and then proceeded to start cleaning up the mess. Sure the one member was wounded, but he didn?t like waiting till morning. Sometimes riders were only the foremost scout group and that meant there could be more close behind. Ruby sighed. He probably wouldn?t get much in the way of sleep before leaving. Hell the others hadn?t even introduced themselves. He wasn?t too keen on the kid who got hurt. He seemed friendly enough, but well, it was fairly obvious to Ruby that he was inexperienced. Well I guess he?ll get plenty of experience on this trip, if he lives to tell about it. He thought. And then there were the elves. Ruby didn?t really care for elves. It wasn?t that he disliked them personally; it was because he himself had a bit of eleven blood and he didn?t want others to know. Elves were harder to be around as he was very familiar with a lot of their ways and traditions and he always had to be more careful around them or they would realize it. He sighed again. Well he would worry about that later. Ruby finished cleaning up and as he started towards the stairs he heard a loud commotion outside in the town. Well looks like I was right about their being more. He thought to himself. Sometimes he hated being right. He grabbed his sword and ran outside to see what was going on. It looked like a party of Orcs were invading the town. He raised his sword in challenge and rushed to greet them. Within a short time he was out of visual range of the tavern. Dammit! He thought! There are too many of them! He couldn?t get back to the tavern until he finished off the ones attacking him. Orcs weren?t to terribly bright or fast for that matter and he was cutting them down fairly quickly, but if there were more they would be attacking the others at the tavern. He needed to get back! He continued to dodge and parry their attacks. He had taken a few blows but his lightweight armor protected him from any harm. Movement caught his eye as an elf came running around the corner. Obviously she was lost and she was weaponless as well. She stood her ground as an Orc rushed her. She tried to attack the Orc but he caught her wrists effortlessly. The Orc said something but Ruby couldn?t hear what it said. To his surprise the elf seemed to faint. Ruby cursed under his breath. He had to get to her before they decided to kill her. Probably the only thing saving her was that she was currently unarmed and not being so bright the Orc was probably confused by that. He started fighting towards where she was, but there were still quite a few of them between him and her.

Sena watched as Alcina wove her spell of lust on the neutral. Clearly he was greatly affected by her touch. This was definitely quite interesting. As Alicna circled around the neutral Sena felt a new power coming from Diane, one of powerful greed. That one hardly affected him at all as he had never hidden his innermost desire. His powerful desire to inflict pain on others was nothing new to him. Still it was pleasing to feel the waves of greed coming from her. Sena smiled until he felt her gather her power and interfere with Alcina?s attack. In the same moment he felt a wave of fury from Karne directed at Diane. True to his training he moved into position to strike if ordered to. It was instinctive to do so. He waited to see what Karne wanted. Karne nodded his head indicating it was okay and Sena moved back into a position where he could strike if needed. Good. Destruction whispered in his mind. Your instincts are excellent; though it is unlikely that Alcina or Diane will directly go against Karne. After all, we are strongest when we work as a team. Your powers work best when used together. Greed and Lust make a good team, as do Darkness and Destruction. It is natural that you feel loyal to the darkness, as it is your place to serve him. Sena continued to watch as the neutral fell further under the spell of Lust and Greed. He was curious as to what they were actually going to do to him. Destruction laughed. I think you will enjoy this.
