my favorite commercial for awhile now has been for volkeswagon, i think. it shows this girl getting ready for a wedding. then it shows a guy in a tux speeding to the church w/ this dramatic music playing & you think he's late for his wedding. but then it shows the priest saying "speak now or forever hold your peace" & the guy from the car comes busting up in the church w/ this love-stricken look on his face. i think she should go w/ him, he was a lot hotter than the groom! (he's also on judging amy, which i started watching just to see him.)

bah! i knew you'd get there before i fixed it! but for once i would like to see the majority of my threads not closed. people always end up spamming mine for some reason.

this has nothing to do w/ radio, everything to do w/ closed minded religious people... one of the worst things i've heard was how jerry fallwell said kids shouldn't watch the teletubbies b/c one of them was gay. i watched it on purpose after that, for as long as i could stand it anyway. & there is nothing on gundam wing that even remotely resembles witchcraft. please, people, grasping at straws here. i think some people just sit around trying to think up stuff to bash. they have no lives. this reminds me of how my parents wouldn't let me watch scooby-doo.

on one hand, you don't know if the person you're talking to is a complete psycho who is just bs-ing you. but, on the other hand, if you're both being real, it can be very positive. you get to know each other w/out the superficial hang-ups. as long as you let the relationship progress gradually, talking on the phone after awhile & eventually meeting in a safe place, i don't see the problem. you just have to be careful. i actually went to europe back in january to meet a guy i was talking to online... but after we met we decided to just be friends... it worked out okay, & it was an experience.

i saw this on dbz today. they're all on the planet of darkness & goku hits his shin on a rock b/c he couldn't see it. he immediately grabs his leg in pain & says "owww, that hurt!" then, on midnight run, gohan & goten are running & videl's plane flies over them. the wind it generates knocks them flat on their faces. & earlier, goten falls from, like, four feet in the air & starts to cry. now, this kind of crap happens all the time. i can't think of any other examples, but there are tons. here you've got these great warriors who have been pummeled nearly to death by the worst villains in the universe, who knock away enormous ki blasts w/ one hand, & are able to lift buses & stuff, & here they are whining every time they stub their toe & getting knocked over by wind. does that make sense to you??? i figured if gohan could withstand a kamehameha from cell, then some wind wouldn't be able to knock him over, etc., etc. i know they aren't really wusses, but jeez.

haven't seen it, but it sounds hilarious.
