well, in my case...growing up... i never spoke to anybody b/c i was afraid they'd laugh at me or something. but i'm not shy at all now, b/c i don't really give a flying ---- what anybody thinks about me anymore. so yeah, i agree w/ that theory that shyness is mostly a result of ridicule.

cd burners make no sense. i mean, if you're burning a cd, you're breaking the law as far as i know, unless it's something you wrote yourself. as someone who was once an active participant in the "black market" (though we didn't call it that), i can tell you that they will listen to no one. they are the law unto themsleves. it's too huge & has too many people involved for the police to even make a dent in it.

on the streets again. it didn't work out w/ my last roommate. he turned out to be a disgusting perv. i can live w/ crack heads, alcoholics, prostitues, but not disgusting pervs. so i finally caved & went to caratas homeless shelter. once again & am the youngest & the only white girl. i played my guitar endlessly to retain my sanity. after awhile, a bunch of people gathered around to listen. when i was done, some of them actually gave me food, which is practically more valuable than money to a homeless person. this one guy came up & started making requests, but i didn't know any of the songs he asked for. finally, i said, "hey, i know a song you'll know. but i might mess up b/c i just figured it out last night." it was "angel" by jimi hendrix. i played it, & i didn't mess up. i'm feeling your pain, seph. i'm at the library right now. i don't know how long this will last. i'm praying for a miracle.

imo, reincarnation makes the most sense out of any afterlife theory. the continual perfection of character... it can't be accomplished in one lifetime. i feel that i have an old soul. i must've lived before. & vegitto4, if reincarnation is true, it doesn't necessarily mean that we'll come back as human beings, or even 3rd dimensional creatures, for that matter.

hmmm.... silverchair. i have fond memories of them. i was fifteen, sitting on the bus, listening to the first album, the song "isreal's son", i think, since i just turned it on... & my crush talked to me for the first time. he was the hottest guy i'd ever seen, w/ a misfits t-shirt & black boots & a mohawk... he said, "what are you listening to?" i thank silverchair for that moment.

i say just let them be. cops have more important things to worry about. the whole drug sweep thing is ridiculous, too. do you have any idea how much manpower that wastes? & it's been going on for years & years.

*sigh* i was a gymnast for 7 years. i wanted to go to the olympics. once i started competing on a higher level, though, it wasn't fun anymore. the coaches were obsessed, the team got all over your a*s whenever you screwed up, girls were anorexic & bulemic, & went in to competition w/ fractures & ended up having to put metal rods in their bones just so they could keep competing... it was a real "varsity blues" type situation. i finally decided to quit. i started b/c of the love of the sport, not to win medals. now i just train alone, don't compete, & i love it again. it's better this way.

well, i have the same problem piro does. you might think it's nice to get hit on all the time, but guys can be such pervs. but, thinking on it, i used to be really ugly, nerdy, & scrawny, & all the guys dissed me, so i my current situation is definitely the lesser of 2 evils. plus now i have the self-confidence to hit on people myself. for all you people who have trouble talking to the opposite sex, you're psyching yourself out. you've got to relax & think of them as an equal, not a member of the opposite sex. we're all people after all. i know, it's easier said than done, but you have to practice. talk to them as much as you can, eventually you'll feel comfortable.

it got 3 1/2 out of 4 stars in my newspaper's movie review section, which is a miracle b/c the critic is this artsy-fartsy sort of guy... so it must be good.

yeah, it's on digital. once you get it, there's a guide that lists the names of the channels & the show listings, so you should be able to find out what channel it is from that. or you could go to "menu/search/dragonballz".
