yeah, but i don't think practically anyone would've bothered to find out who king kamehameha was if not for dbz. i mean, come on, how did all of you hear about him? & i guarantee that the writers of south park are not naturally well-versed in hawaiian culture.

what wrong w/ it, shyguy? i mean, look at lara croft, or rogue, or sarah from witchblade, for godssake. what guy in their right mind would not find them damn hot? a lot of drawn characters were made that way on purpose to be fantasies. i mean, they can never get fat, they're always in shape, the females are always curvy, the guys are always beefcake... what's the problem? the first drawn character i lusted over was logan from x-men, it was all downhill from there. :tasty:

you know, safer, we should talk more. it seems we are alike in many ways. & i have great empathy for your situation, believe me. but that's not too hard to figure out, if you've read any of my threads lately. this time is the refining fire. if you take a simple lump of coal--a blackened ball of decaying matter--& add raging heat & tons of pressure, a diamond will emerge. i came up w/ that metaphor a few years ago, & i have to keep it in mind. i'm not a diamond yet, but i will be.

jon, 20 james, 17 we get along famously. we are bonded against my parents, & are all completely wild. i'm esp. close to jon, he is [I]the[/I] most important person to me on the face of the earth & always will be. we tell each other things we would never tell anyone else. he beats up guys that mess w/ me (always behind my back, b/c he knows i'd stop him, but i secretly like it). i feel bad for those of you who don't get along w/ their siblings. i couldn't imagine that.

i've had "kyle's mom's a -----" stuck in my head for like a week now.

well. my hometown of powhatan, va, has the lowest murder rate in the state. LOL thank you, i feel so popular. hmmm... i noticed that in the poll almost half of the people would dump their friend after finding out he/she was gay (this surprised me, i'd think we'd be more tolerant of one another's differences in this day & age). but i also noticed that none of them had the balls to post why.

[/B][/QUOTE] ugh. that was bad. that whole ep was emotional, esp. the scenes w/ vegeta & trunks... others are: vegeta's original death by frieza, vegeta turning to majin vegeta, goku sacrificing himself during the cell games esp. the look on gohan's face after it happened. i haven't seen much anime, though, so there are probably worse/more emotional shows or movies.

i was watching the south park movie last night & i heard something i never noticed before. during the "kyle's mom's a [you-know-what]" song, cartman sings: "then on sunday, just to be different, she's a super-king [I]kamehameha[/I] biotch!" i LMAO when i heard that! i had to rewind it like four times! dbz has truly reached the masses...
