the concept of android emotions has always fascinated me... i don't really see how it would be possible. obviously, dr. gero must've programmed them to feel emotions, for the necessary neurotransmitters to be released at appropriate times, mimicking human emotions. i don't get, though, why he would program them w/ love or compassion. it seems as though he would see these things as a weakness. perhaps the living part of them evolved naturally. your poem was interesting, SA18. interesting b/c no one really knows what goes on in 18's head. she's basically a closed book.

people discuss a lot of things other than anime here... i don't watch the show, but i read the comic, which is A LOT better. yancey bulter does not live up to the role, in my opinion.

me, i love getting up & speaking in front of people. all the attention focused on me. plus i write some damn good speeches too. i am such a show-off sometimes. when i think of how shy i used to be, it is rather astounding.

when goku goes ssj for the first time, & also the one where vegeta describes how he went ssj. those transformations always rule. i also love the one where krillin destroys the remote control, it was very emotional.

what vegeta says in the toonami version is: "i woke up one day & found i had settled down. formed a family. i had even grown quite fond of them." is that the one you're talking about?

so why didn't she kill him, then? that's what she said she was going to do if he didn't pay.

yeah, vegeta's pride was a good ep, as was the dark prince returns. shadow, i guarantee they have finished all the dubbing. they're just stringing us along. that is was you meant, isn't it?

oi vey. hmm, okay. i have been in the following dangerous situations... --homelessness during the winter. frrrrreezing! --driving down i-64 w/ no brakes. --someone firing a gun 16 times behind my apartment & having two of the bullets fly through my bedroom window. --pneumonia, w/ a 105 temperature. --getting attacked by a guy w/ a knife, the cops came & he ran off (i'm still pissed about that one, as i have yet to regain the feeling in my little finger after he tried to slice it off). --brought to the hospital w/ a blood alcohol level of .45...they said i should have died (yeah, i don't recommend this one at all, people). --having to sit in church three times a week, risking death by boredom. there are more but i can't think of anything else right now. see, i told you satan is trying to kill me... :devil:

i'm not so good w/ relationships. i have to be the dominant party, but then i don't respect the guy for being subservient. it's a lose/lose situation.

yes! many times! satan is trying to kill me! (j/k) seriously, though, i've had many near death experiences. but i don't want to talk about it now, maybe tomorrow.

i can't wait to see the one. & btw, 13 ghosts was just gross... like when that guy got sliced in half & the front half of his body slid down the glass... that movie was freaky, though.

now i wish that gohan had fought first & that vegeta or goku had fought dabura. b/c then dabura would've gotten killed & vegeta wouldn't have turned evil. that part was sad. :(

the first time i ever saw dbz, i swiped all my brother's videos & watched them in one sitting. all the way to through the frieza saga. i do not take phone calls during the hour of 5:30-6:30 p.m. i yell at my dog whenever he accidentally steps on my vegeta pictures. i have a fanfic that is over 200 pages long about vegeta. i am also desperately in love w/ him. there, does that answer your question?

why do they have to show those movies every friday? are they trying to drag out dbz or something?

when i'm depressed, i meditate w/ the breathing method, that always helps. i channel my negative energy out of me.

james, i know several people who have had est for md. no, shadow, i would not really kill myself. i'm not suicidal anymore.

last christmas i went to spain...haven't been anywhere since... & cecil, i am soooo jealous that you've been to scotland. i WILL go there before i die.
