i know how you feel. my great-grandmother & grandparents are extremely racist. my parents are pretty racist. when i was fifteen, my dad punched me directly in the face for going out w/ a black guy. the guy was so worried about my safety that he broke up w/ me. i never quite forgave my dad for that. but i don't worry...i am nothing like them, just as you are nothing like the people of alabama in the past. we can learn from negative example here. we know what NOT to be.

here's my advice...make the ribbons more prominent in the picture. they're the best part of ballet slippers. make them all twisting & curling, or resting over the slippers, whatever. you can do so many cool things w/ ribbons & it will make it look more 3-D.

that pic is adorable, transtic. i just love babies. i have two younger brothers: jon (20) & james (17). they are both blonde & blue-eyed & get lots of women. they're the two people i love most in the world. we are banded against my parents.
