well...i suppose it's good to see both the anime and read the manga, because they both have something extra the other doesn't. oh and i'd suggest you look into other Clamp works, they are so beautiful, and i recommend reading X. the series is up to 17 volumes so far, and the bishounen are beautiful ^,~

that's very true, i mean who knows what bad rumors float around on the internet. i heard that there was only 10 mangas, then i found evidence of an 11th manga, so who knows...and it's good to read fanfiction because it feels in that gap that the manga left, and plus i can read more about Krad, even tho it's not visual ^^

well, i don't take what you're saying as rude. there are a lot of episodes of course, but that makes the series all the better as you keep watching it ^^

oh man, that sucks! i thought that it was a good thing when they introduced him to the manga, but now i know that the manga will be over soon *.* poor Krad, he's my favorite character, and they barely had him in the manga too...

well, i have to say that that part in Saiyuki was sad, but not nearly the saddest moment. Hakkai has been so angsty since then, lol! actually, that shouldn't be funny, huh?

haha, i guess most people would say Ayame isn't hot ^^;; My friend has that shirt, well i think it's the same one, it has Yuki in his dancing uniform used at the banquet ^^

Shonen-ai/yaoi is the best thing that ever happened to anime! i mean there is hot guy on guy action, how can it get any better then that? okay, so my fav Shonen-ai series are [B]Gravitation[/B] which has a nice couple between Shuuichi and Yuki ^^ i think [B]Boys Next Door [/B] was a good one also, it was very sad and angsty, just the way i like them ^^ i did think the relations between Amou and nomonori in [B]Juvenile Orion[/B] was too kawaii~~! in [B]Demon Diary[/B] , i could just imagine a EclipsexRaenef pairing, i mean it was just waiting to happen, lol! i do have to say that my favorite shonenai manga woulkd be [B]Yami no Matsuei[/B] . i know, it's not a real coulpe, but i love it when Muraki is all over Tsuzuki, it's just so hot!

you know Gwynva, i never thought of it that way, i mean i wouldn't have thought that and i'd say that part from the Rurouni Kenshin OVA was the saddest moment of anime history in my book *.*

firemac, i so feel you on that issue about the dubbing! i mean, dubs are worse then subc to me, i mean yeah the voices for the english anime sucks, but it's nothing when you see how edited it is compared to the manga. i hated how they turned Sanji's cigarette into a candy, but it's funny when you can see a trail of smoke left behind from it XD i wanna watch the Japanese version so much! so far, i've seen the first 3 movies, and the first season on 4kids, and i'm looking forward to the original. i really do like One Piece and my favorite character is Sanji followed by Shanks ^,~

yeah, Furuba is definatley one to check ou ^^ all the characters are awesoem, and impossible to hate, but there a select few that are hot such as Shigure Hatori and Ayame ^^

yeah! Getbackers is an awesome anime and manga! of course the anime is kinda slow, but it has Akabane dong his stuff, and he rocks! the manga is pretty good, but unfortunately, i have only read 1 volume...

well now, i think that a manga whether it be Shojo or Shonen, is totally awesome! i love both and i'm a girl, and i have no clue how girls can't like FUruba, it seems like it would appeal to them more them\n guys due to all the g\hot male characters in it ^^ i personally think Shigure is he best and most hot followed by Hatori and Ayame. for the record, the manga is way better because it goes all the way up to volume 18 and the anime only has one season and ends around the 6th manga. i own volumes 6, 8, and Japanese version of 17~ i love it so much because it reveals the all time secret of Akito ^__^

yeah, Yukiru Sugisaki does 3 series that i know of: DNAngel, Lagoon Engine, and Candidate of Goddess. unfortunately, she hasn't finished any of the manga series..but hopefully she'll get to work on DNAngel, it's such a good manga! and the anime for it literally sucks, because it has nothing to do with the manga, it's just like they took the characters and their names and put them in an alternate universe with an alternate storyline, and that sucked, well i thought it did anyway...

'ShinsenGumi Imon Peace Maker' i have never heard of that one, but it sounds awesome! i read the first 3 volumes of PMK, but i didn't knw there was a sequel. i love the Japanese history! i gotta look into that ^^

haha, i'm sure i would feel the same way if i saw the anime for Chobits. i read the manga up to cvolume 3 and i liked it, but i like the other Clamp works much more ^^ yeah, Kitsunekami, you are right, the Hellsing anime ain't that great, but i like the colors they used when Alucard was killing everyone! of course it can never bee as good or graphic as the Hellsing manga ^^

in my opinion on the variations between the FM manga and anime, i'd say i'd pick the manga! the manga is defnately more detailed and in most animes, they change the Japanese names to English ones, and i am mad about that! i mean, they shouldn't change the names just so ppl can pronounce them easier! that's an assumption that is not necessary, i like the original. now, the reasons why the manga of FMA is better then the anime is that the anime has filler episodes that never occured in the manga, so they are pretty much making it up. plus, you understand more of what is going on when you read the manga. and like a few of you said, the anime stops short at 52 episodes while the manga keeps going and is still being published in Japan. of course, i have only seen the first season of FMA anime, but so far, it's pretty good to see them in motion, but the manga is definately more important in my mind ^^

exactly riht Kitsunekami, Doujinshi is mostly based on a yaoi lover's fantasies about the characters they like froma series. they do a pretty good job at it actually, and the drawing is so pretty, varying between artists, that is ^^

mine was Furuba! i first read it when my friend Shinjuu let me read her volume 2 and 3 of Furuba. i got hooked on it afterwards, and no i have read 17 volumes of it ^^

Furuba(Fruits Basket) is my all time favorite and was actually the first manga i ever raed ^^ the characters are just so awesome, and everyone has a good side to them, or a reason for doing what they do. the guys are hot too especially Shigure, Hatori and Ayame ^^
