I'm really sorry about that guys. I really didn't think it would've been such a problem.

I can't believe I'm doing this to you guys, but can you skip me? I'll be able to join next round, but right now I can't do anything on my laptop, other than send emails, and that only happened recently. We had a lot of trouble setting up the internet on my laptop and now I can't do ****. I'm really sorry. I didn't know this would happen.

Ok, so to be in line, I need to book a spot? So then I book spot 18, since jiggly wants spot 17. Then I just check up on the worm every day or so to see if anyone's done and then I post my part according to what they did? Alright. Doesn't sound too hard, even for a n00b like me. We'll see what happens and hopefully I get it right.

Hmmm.... I can't really think of anything that I didn't like that I've watched so far, but then again, I haven't really watched all that much anime. Some were confusing and could've been better, but none that I hate.... I'll have to get back to you guys and this one.

Hey there everyone. Does anyone know of any sites that host fanmade DVD inlays and labels for the discs? I used to go to anicovers.com for they've closed down their site for some reason and I can't find the 2nd new site they were going to make. I've also gone to animecoversfan.com but that's mostly french covers and it's difficult to get the English versions since they don't reply to their PM's. Or maybe instead of an specific sites, does anyone know where I can create my own site where people can submit to a database or do you guys think I should just create a forum site that allows people to post their stuff? What do you guys think? [Sorry if this type of thread has been posted before but I searched and couldn't find anything.]

Anime Name an anime that you can watch over and over
Metal Paw replied to meka2003's topic in Otaku Central
What is the one anime that you could watch over and over without tiring of it? I think I could watch FullMetal Alchemist, the DB trilogy and Yu-Gi-Oh! constantly and I won't get bored with it! What you guys think? -
Unfortunately it's currently off the air and there are only two DVD releases of it (one of which has some good episodes, but there's only 3 per disc). Luckily season sets will be coming out sometime either next year or the year after that and you can probably find some episodes online.
Oh...ok...cool. I'll see if I can find someone who has them and watch them and if I like, I'll buy. But, yeah, anime usually only comes with three on a disc.

Does anyone know where I can download fansubbed anime?
-
Watch Justice League Unlimited. It has a really complicated storyline with a sequential order (albiet with a lot of filler, but lots of animes have that with the exception of Fullmetal Alchemist), beautiful animation with amazing shading and lighting effects, and really causes you to think (I got surprised and even a bit confused at a few points in the series, and I generally can predict animes pretty well).
Really? Ok, I'll give it a go.
-
Why? Why, they ask me. Well, the American cartoons are so fill of crud; they have no story line or plot; they have no sequencial order; the graphics a terrible and there's no shading and lighting difference. Whereas anime, there's a story line; the graphics are excellent and they're jus plain cool. With anime, you miss one episode, you might not understand what happens in the next one while as in cartoons, you can miss 50 of them and you'll still understand. Cartoons don't require you to think much either. With anime, you get all worked up and you think ahead, trying to figure out who the bad guy is, what's gonna happend next, who's gonna die, that kind of thing.

Anime what is the first anime you watch? how does it impact on you?
Metal Paw replied to domyoji's topic in Otaku Central
The first anime I ever saw was DBZ. The first manga I ever read was Rurouni Kenshin which I lent from a friend. And now, I am trying to download anime from the internet cause where I live, they don't show anime on the TV so I only see what I download.
