1. I call it soda. I don't always drink soda, but, when I do, I prefer Dr. Pepper.
 2.
I will never consume any alcoholic beverage. I have seen what it can do to people and it disgusts me.
Yeah, I feel the same way about naivete so I hear you. I enjoy a good drink with company or a beer after a long day. There's nothing like some Shiner Bock, Guinness, or Newcastle from the tap with a cigar while watching a basketball game. Talk about taking a load off. Don't even get me started on whiskey. I've never wandered into getting wasted with specific emotions or yearnings in mind. It seems to be rather arbitrary depending on exactly what the goings-on of the evening are and the mood of my peers as to if I think it might be appropriate to get wasted. When I'm down, I find myself pulled more towards smoking a cigar, reading a book, writing, or some other activity for some reason.
 3.
I really wonder why Texans are trying to whitewash aspects of American history that are not as bright and colorful as other ones.
Don't look at me, man. I didn't vote for the Republicans on the SBOE. Plus, we're fightin' it. Viva Tejas, baby. I actually don't have anything more constructive to say other than that it pisses many of us off too. I've been talking with student organizations at my college to do a protest in Austin but, eh, summer hit at the wrong time.

 5.
Way too much punctuation in this post.
And not nearly enough smug arrogance.
 6. This is how I write a paper: I open Microsoft Word. I write the paper. I save periodically. I print the paper. I save a final time. I close Microsoft Word. The longest paper I had the displeasure of writing was a History final that came in at 36 double spaced pages. Asshat professor. I usually require some kind of droning music to keep me in the mood for writing the paper. It keeps me focused without being distracting.
 7. Who: Hi! My name is Kenneth. Where: I have lived in San Antonio, Texas my entire life. My house recently burned down. I am living in a rental house until my house is rebuilt. What: I am an English major seeking an eventual doctorate in the subject. I have another year in my undergrad then I will probably attend either the University of Texas or Rice to go through my master's and doctorate. I smoke a lot of cigars. When [i.e. Back Then]: I started off spamming. Then I did some other stuff. Otaku Big Brother II was fun. Why: Never gonna give you up. Favourite Things About OB: The game.

 9. I am currently fighting baddies in Dragon Age and doing multiplayer in CoD6. Both are very good games to pick up. Very different though.
 10. The news of this hit right around when Obama announced his intention to send more troops to Afghanistan but I swear for the life of me I saw more about Tiger Woods that day than the troop surge. I did read an interesting news article about how Tiger's choice of mistresses/women [read:all white] was being 'widely discussed' in black communities. I'm not sure if that's true or not, though.
 11. 16.
Cigars and pipes should ALWAYS be lit with matches. Always.
I'd disagree, but to each their own. I've never had an impact on taste with butane torch lighters or soft lighters on my tobacco. Bic lighters are a terrible way to ruin a good cigar or bowl of pipe and it's depressing to watch people light up their stogie like that. :( Also, it's not to say that I dislike matches as there's kind of a nice touch to sitting in a humidor lighting your cigar with a match that's hard to replicate with a lighter. Alla: I write mainly on computer for the same reasons - I feel the editing and composition of the paper is easier on a computer with the tools given. Poems, however, I usually do strictly by hand first for some reason.
 17.
I read books. Not online magazines and stuff, but books. Books that are 7 inches thick. I actually still have the 5 inch thick bedtime story books I read when I was 3.
Books will never be old-fashioned. I wrote out a short story by hand recently and that kind of sucked, but it was old fashioned. I light my cigars or pipe with matches sometimes if my lighters are out of fluid. Also, homemade salsa? Good ****.

 20.
indifferent perhaps
I feel very neutral regarding this and have no strong feelings one way or the other regarding Twitter or this thread. Thank you for your time.
 21.
Yep. I call and text and mess around on my phone when I drive. Who cares? If I get into a wreck, I get into a wreck. I'll deal with it when it happens but so far I've stayed on the road and paid enough attention.
There have been plenty of deaths related to texting while driving. You know, the kind of thing you get convicted for.
 22. I can talk on the phone adequately, but I try to keep it to a minimum. Txting I only do at red lights since, well, I've dealt with avoiding cars whose drivers are texting while driving - those guys drive terribly, jesus. Haha, my best buddy received two tickets for running the same stop light twice in two different cars in under two weeks - both times he ran the light while talking to me on the cellphone. Poor guy.
 23. YOU DESERVE A REPLY! I have been following this game with a great degree of closeness since I love BioWare. Additionally, anything remotely considered to be a spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate is something worth playing. I'm looking forward to the dynamic storyline that BW has tooted about so much over this game's development - how choices are really important to the overall story. Granted, every RPG that has come out in the last five years usually says something to that effect, but I trust BioWare considering the differing paths you could take in BG and KOTOR. October seems a long ways away.
 24. I'd still hit it. :animesmil This kind of speculation seems to be a fun exercise for some people to go through, but I'm pretty sure that she is a she, information on her background considered.
 25. People who always stop at yield signs really get on my nerves. You don't have to give up the right of way to nothingness, you know. It won't strike you, seriously. Similar to Lunox, I despise people who have a sincere problem with the music I play in my car when I'm courteous enough to give them a ride. The ultimate offense are people who bring their own MP3 players and listen to them - I'm anal about this to a fault, it feels really disrespectful for some reason. I don't like people who won't try new or exotic foods - for some reason Texas is full of white people who are scared of anything that isn't Americana. I love Indian, Japanese, and Vietnamese food. There's nothing wrong with branching out to things that aren't thrown onto buns or deep fried.
