1. Hmm.......I'd say go for the $30 PS2, as long as it'll run right, and save for the PS3. Unless you like handhelds a LOTS, I've heard that the PSP isn't worth that much, and the games aren't that great. I'm saving for a PS3 as well. :D
2. My first anime ever was "Zoids: Chaotic Century. I didn't even know it was anime :animeswea - I didn't know what anime even WAS until I began watching Inuyasha, which was my second anime. I think it drew me in because I thought it was different, and I really liked it. Thinking now, I suppose the first season of Digimon was the first anime I ever saw, since it's listed in Otaku as one, but I consider that more of a cartoon than an actual anime, so I'll still count Zoids: CC as my first anime. :animesmil
3. I got FFVII for Christmas after I found out PS1 games can be used on a PS2. So I got really far in it, and tried to save - and I couldn't!! The people I talked to forgot to mention I need a PS1 memory card to save. :animeangr So I bought one, and then it was defective! So I finally found a PS1 card that works, so I'm happy again. :animesmil Now I just have to beat it.....
4. Sadly, I don't have any handhelds or a Gamecube, so I miss out on a lot. :( But I enjoy my PS2 FF games, and funnily enough, my dad loves watching me play to see the movies. :catgirl:
5. I haven't gotten to play any of those games yet. Sadly, I'm still moving up into the gaming world. :animecry: I've got lots to learn yet.
6. If anyone wants to see screenshots for Advent Children, MyO member Evil Monkey posts some awsome shots on his site. Check 'em out!
7. I actually got my PS1 in order to play FFVII and FFVIII. :animesmil How's Vagrant Story - maybe I'll check it out.
8. I guess you've got a point. I kinda like the idea of random battles like in FFX - or were we going to be able to see them?? Sometimes I get so confused!! ;) Anyway, it forces me to level up and fight. Sometimes I get POed at it, because I keep trying to do something, and instead I keep fighting, but that's not often. Maybe that's part of the reason I like FF...... I think I like FFX better than X-2 because there were so many different options in FFX. I especially liked the Sphere Grid. It made the random battles easier to bear, because then I'd just think of all the sphere levels and items I'd get out of it.
9. Yeah, it really bit that it was delayed, but I'm hoping it was worth the wait. But I know I'm going to get it no matter what. :animesmil I wanted to get FF Online, but I wasn't able to. :animecry: I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not, but once I'm able to get it, I'm gone!
10. I like anime because of several reasons. Some of them are very serious and in-depth, and make me think about things. Others are more light-hearted, that I can watch when all I want is a good laugh. I like it because it's different, and because most of American shows are complete garbage. With the rise of reality shows and bad rip-offs, I find it refreshing to watch anime. While it's not always greatly drawn, or the plot isn't always wonderful, it's mostly orignal and fun for me to enjoy. :glasses:
11. Hey! I'm a huge fan of FF - I actually played FFX-2 first, by mistake. It's what got me into the series. After that I got FFX, and then FFVIIand VIII. I've beaten X and X-2, but I'm still working on the others. FF12 looks like it's gonna be worth the wait. What do you guys think? :p
