There's no one book that can teach you how to draw well. Many will find themselves confused with the many different concepts in them, and I was one of them. To improve your skill, you will have to try something easy first, before you step into tougher boundaries; you must first learn to walk before you can run.

Then should you be supporting her on this? You shouldn't. That is why you ought to stop her from taking cover behind others all the time. Its okay, occassionally, but definately not all the time. I would seem to me that the concern here isn't the fear from inexperience, but what she feels is or not suited for her. The person who does the dumping ususally comes up with the reason first; the rejectee should be the one feeling more hurt since he/she didn't make that choice to break up. Since her problem seems to be purely upon extreme nervousness, not fear. She will need time to curb that, but she must take that first step to even see a breakthrough.

Based on the fact that most 'Anime-based' games do not really fare as well as their programme counterparts, the deduced factor is the continued reused and worn-out story lines. Generally, fresh programmes start out better than the evolved versions; Street Fighter Series did much better as a game rather than its television release. It is true vice-versa with the many examples expressed above. But of course, fresh 'Anime' games, like Disgaea, with its original plots would do better than the 'Anime-based' rip-offs. I do hope that the Disgaea Anime would not suffer in such an event, though...
