I would like to know weather the show is before or after the movie? Because I want to see the show I have the movie and it is one of my favorites.

Hmm my first crush would have been in grade 7. It was on my friend Vanessa she knew but was not interested as for other ones ....... well lets just say that I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Hmm I would say that my dad would be my hero manly because of all of the things that he knows how to do. I know that this sounds childish or something but he can fix anything and can't be made angry easily. I know that those are not as strong a reason as some of you and your choices but he is my only non-fictional hero.

I would have to say that I am a bit of all of them I hang out with all of those types of people. I guess you could say I'm like a diplomat.

I don'y know what the whole story is behind how and why anime started but as far as I know Astroboy is one of the first . It was origanaly a comic strip then a cartoon.

I thought that I would start this thread about Hayao Miyazaki. I do not know if this is the correct spot to post this thread so if it is not then I am sorry about that. But I just wanted to Know if anybody else thinks that his films are incredible and what their favorite film of his is if any. Some of his films are (in no particular order) Spirited Away, Castle in the sky, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving castle, Porco rosso, Kiki?s Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro, and Future Boy Conan. Those are just some of them there are a lot more but I don't know them all. And now to answer my question my favorite film by Hayao Miyazaki would have to be Princess Mononoke I just love the story about Ashitaka and San falling in love and Ashitaka trying to make balance between the forest and the humans. The characters are all great, so is the animation and the music is wonderful. Well that is what I think now what do all of you think?

Ok well I am going to go way back to the first anime that I had ever seen and that was Astroboy. But that was not what got me into anime the show that got me into anime was Princess Mononoke, one day at school my friend Rudy was like here watch this, so when I got home I put it on and I was amazed at how great it was. Then a little later he lent me Akira and Ninja Scroll. The last shows that sealed me into a fate of almost nothing but Anime were Trigun and Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin). But they still none of them accept Kenshin came close to the first time I watched Princess Mononoke.

I would go out into the forest and try to be alone when I died so that there would be no chance of me passing on this virus to my friends and family.

If I had $1,000,000 I would buy myself a piece of land thatis fairly large but not too big mybe 20 acers or somthing then I would build a 4 room house (1 kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom) then use the rest of th money to just live there without having to work.

Well I seen this and just thought that I would chime in. Looks: I would want my perfect girl to be about 5'10" thin but not so thin that I can see her ribs (that is a little sad that they don't get enough food so it depresses me) Umm for hair color I would say that dark brow or natural red would be fine and for her face a kind pretty face. And her eyes hmm dark green or dark blue. Personality: Happy-go-lucky, calm and collective, kind, sweat, and talkative but not expecting me to have a lot to say back, I'm a better listener then I am a talker.Smart and a bit active she has to like to walk because I do. Likes: It would be nice to have stuff in common. So Anime, relaxing on Sunday, going out Friday and Saturday, sleeping in the same bed (I said sleeping not sex even though that would be nice :animesmil ) music would have to be the one thing that we would both have to have the most in common but I like everything but rap, pop, and country, if they liked classical and punk rock that would be awesome, also if they were somewhat able to play an instrument would be great. Dislikes: what ever they want to you have to take the good with the bad Overall: I do no want a girl who is expecting me to pay for things (I'm not cheap I just do not have a lot of money and I need it for food so I won't die) or a person who tosses and turns all-night I wake up as soon as they move. And I do not like insanely happy people it scares me

I can not say that kind of thing has happened to me the whole being best friends to boy/girlfriend and back but I have told my best friend that I like her IN a more than a friend way but she said that because we live far apart and that we are such close friends and that it has not worked in the past when she dated friends that she did not want to date me :animedepr I hate that. But to try and make sense as to way I said that was to say that if you truly want to stay friends then just wait a while and then try to be friends again if you are important to each other then nothing should stop your friendship. ~peace and love

Princess Mononoke I don't know why but I can watch it constantly I just love the whole story Also I could watch One Piece, Inu yasha, Trigun and Kenshin.because I love the characters and the story I also have watched them over and over. I have no idea if that was the cartoon I saw or not I thought that it was because when I had seen the characters a little bit ago it reminded me of when I was but a wee lad.

HMM..... I would have to say that there are not too many differences in what I would expect from a woman or a man. Being a guy that is not overly large (in fact from what the body mass index says I am Under Weight for a woman of my height). I am still more than a match for someone who is going to try to fight me, Male or Female, although I prefer to resolve things in a none physical way because I do not like to injure others. I would ether try to get out of/avoid a situation like that with a guy. (I know that this sounds horrible but..) And with a girl I would try to charm her into not hitting me or I would just allow her to hit me because I would not hit her back :animenose . As for mentally I do not see men as more intelligent then women I only see people who are ether not as or more intelligent then me.

OK I know that this is a video game but it was also a TV show and I was wondering if anybody else has ever seen it or heard of it. When I watched it I was still very young and do not remember it well. I checked the thread directory for this show but it was not there that is way I am making this one all I want is to know if anyone else has seen this. Thank you for your time. ~Peace~

And who can blame them I mean when you see things like Yu gi oh, pokemon, DBZ and bey blade (don't think that I am hating) it just gets edited and aimed commercially to kids. So in an attempt to be grown up people denounce anime and condemn it to children.
