Lucy read Ishild's hungry looks towards the bowl of soup, but didn't speak of that first, instead the things Ishild were wondering about seemed to be a more pressing matter. After taking another spoonful of soup and laying the spoon back in the bowl, Lucy took her amber eyes from the liquid to the blonde haired girl in front of her. She paused for a moment, almost as if she was trying to make it more drawn out, but that was just Lucy's style. "Scavenging was good. Zlota was good." Lucy mentioned in her near monotone voice, swirling the spoon around in the soup a bit before continuing. "Maya sneaks out onto the scavenging trips, you know?" It seemed almost like a statement rather than a question, but the change in tone on the last word made it apparent. All while talking Lucy kept her naturally cold gaze on Ishild. It wasn't a sign of being unfriendly, but Lucy always had a somewhat cold look when it came to her eyes, it was something this winter had crafted over the years. But, before Ishild could answer Lucy's question, she had picked up the spoon, turning the handle towards Ishild, obviously offering a little bit of the soup to her.

Lucy had made her way from the frigid garage to the common room on the ship. It was here she lowered her goggles around her neck, and placed the soft hat into the pocket of her jacket. She shook out her blueish hair and removed the gloves from her hands before placing her slender hands against her cheeks, trying to warm her face up as fast as possible. It didn't take her long to head towards the cafeteria area, looking for something to eat and or drink. She passed Julian and Maya on the way, giving Maya a slight look. Lucy was disappointed the girl snuck out onto the scavenging trips. Ask anyone, they would agree that it was dangerous out there and the incident today only helped prove that. As she entered the cafeteria, Lucy moved her gloves from between her body and her arm to one of her back pockets. Lucy grabbed a cup of the first thing she saw, and a bowl of whatever food they had out and headed out across the room. Her amber eyes found one of the many empty tables and Lucy made her quiet way over there. Her pale hand gracefully pulled the chair back as she sat down. With a slight clank, she set the cup and bowl down before sitting in the chair and stirring the soup around with the spoon that she had obtained. She looked down at the soup, wondering if it was even hot still. Lucy rubbed her hands together one last time to summon some warmth before she took the first spoonful of the soup.

The sound of an explosion was audible to the red haired girl as she looked out from the rooftop. Her orangeish eyes peered out in the direction. Taking an acrobatic leap, she made her way from the top of the building to the streets. Rather violenty, she pushed her way through the people, crossing the streets At the last block, Charley broke into a sprint, pulling the handgun from her waist again as she rounded the corner to face the two Alpas. Charley really didn't expect to see what was going on. A slight look of surprise cracked through her emotionless exterior. She noted the remains of the suit, not attacking the two at first, at least one was needed for research. Instead, she called out; her gun pointed at both Fox and Hilde. "Stop, right there!"

Lucy and Zlota were both helping Ron out with the main sled when Zlota randomly walked away to go find Maya. The light blonde haired boy looked at Lucy, his face showing obvious curiosity. The dark haired girl didn't even respond, not knowing where Zlota was headed, nor what to say to Ron for that matter. Instead, her gloved hands secured the last rope on the main sled, tieing it tightly so nothing fell off. She pointed at the knot, indicating to the new Ron how to tie it correctly and handle it correctly in as few words as possible, as that was Lucy's style. In actuality, Ron was looking at her even more confused as Lucy often didn't speak in complete thoughts, making it harder for the other parties to understand; so when Ron spoke up, Lucy stopped moving and just stared at him. "What?" Was what Ron had said. This had never happened to Lucy before, when similar occurances had happened, most would just walk away to seek out someone else's help, instead Ron had replied. It was rather awkward for the young boy as the girl's cold amber eyes seemed to burn a hole in him despite the cold weather. Finally, after the long silence, Lucy spoke up, pointing to the rope and the sled in general as she did. "That's how you set it up. Simple." The boy seemed to nod, now understanding a bit more of his new responsibilities. But Lucy's thoughts were elsewhere, wondering where Zlota had run off too. She was somewhat annoyed that Zlota would run off when Boris asked her to get the Scrap to help. Lucy sighed, scratching her blueish hair before turning around once more to Ron, who was basically just standing there, not sure what to do. "Good luck." Lucy said to him before walking around to the others in the room, checking to see if they were set up correctly.

Charley waltzed her way up the spiral staircase. It wasn't fully spiral, there were spots where it squared up, but it still twisted upward. It was dark in the abandoned building save for the few spots of light that shined through the irregular windows on the stair case. As she walked up the stairway, slowly, in anticipation of movement, her handgun poised at the stairs above her. Charley's orangeish eyes were wide open, not blinking even once; if you blinked, you couldn't see. And that was a spot of vulnerability. The hammer to the handgun clicked back, and using her own weight, Charley busted the door to the roof open as she walked inside, looking around for the target. And suddenly, through the corner of her eye, a flash of movement and she quickly turned around. Her eyes went wide in surprise a bit at the fact that the hunted Alpha was attacking her instead of running. The attack was easy to see coming and in turn, she wrapped the man's own arm around his neck, dragging him to the floor as she strangled him. His eyes bulged from his head as they frantically looked around the roof for some hopeless means of escape. His legs shook and shimmied as he struggled to break free in his last moments of life. And through those final breaths he murmured. "P-Please...Don't kill me..!" Charley hesitated for just a second, and he took a large gust of air. She shook her head as those emotions of confusion and the memories of the child who said that rose to her head. She closed her eyes. "No!" Charley yelled out, making one final and violent pull. The man's neck seemed to move in the opposite direction from his body, his eyes glazed back and all movement stopped. Charley stood up, slightly out of breath and readjusting the coat on her torso. "Maybe I'm just getting soft..." She shook her head once more, the calm and ice cold emotion came back over her face as she picked up her cell phone, dialing one of the many encrypted numbers. "This is Bennett, the target's dead, mission successful." The voice on the other side murmured something along 'Good job' and 'See you soon' before Charley hung up, sliding the handgun in the back of her waist band and setting both her shirt and jacket over it to cover it up. She took one last look at the body, and quickly turned back. That was another sign of weakness, and there could be no weakness.

Lucy watched Maya and Ishild's conversation in silence. She had always gotten up early, usually before the others were up. It gave her an opportunity to enjoy the silence without being in the deathly cold outside. And so, that's how Lucy began every morning. When Maya woke up, immediately calling out to Ishild, who still slept, Lucy couldn't help but smile. Soon thereafter, the little girl ran out of the room, and Ishild got up. Lucy's dark eyes followed Ishild until she remembered her morning task, and she looked at Zlota. Boris had asked her to see if Zlota could help the scavengers in the afternoon hunt. So, once Ishild left, the dark haired girl stood up, keeping her sharp eyes locked on Zlota. As she approached the Scrap, Lucy smiled a bit. "Come on, let's go, it looks like you're helping us today, Zlota." She faced the Scrap, beckoning towards Zlota. The two traversed the hallways, Lucy leading Zlota to where they needed to be. Her gloved hands zipped up her heavy winter jacket as they approached the meeting point for the Scavengers. Some were already here, Lucy frowned slightly knowing the fact that she had been up for quite a awhile and could have been down here helping. As her sharp amber eyes found Boris amongst the people, Lucy led Zlota over to Boris. "What shall you have us start with today? I brought Zlota like you asked." Lucy asked in her somewhat monotone state of voice.

Name Lucy Nere Age: 22 Gender: Female Profession: Scavenger Appearance:Lucy's hair is a dark shade that seems to shine almost blue in some light. It extends to just below her somewhat pale lips. Lucy's got somewhat of a sharp face, and her sharp eyes accentuate that. Her eyes are dark reddish brown shade and often lay relaxed. While out scavenging, Lucy wears a very heavy coat and baggy pants to stay warm in the frigid temperatures.Accompanying these is a tan scarf that she wraps around her neck and mouth and a pair of boots that were made to survive the snow. When in the Skycleaner or the dorm she often doesn't care what she wears as she doesn't really care about clothes; she'll just grab whatever is around, or lack there of. Personality:Like some of the other "civillians" of the Skycleaner, Lucy's a very quiet person because of her loneliness. Ever since her parent's death aboard the Skycleaner her personality changed and she tended to bottle those emotions up, leaving a cold exterior, no pun intended. That's one of the reasons she decided to be a scavenger; time to be by yourself as you look for useful things. Although she's quiet, she doesn't mind being spoken too and is in fact very disciplined and obedient as well as loyal to those close to her. Background: Lucy was born and raised aboard the Skycleaner. She dormed with her mother, and the family often met up afterwards to do various things before her parents went out to scavenge the area for things useful to the inhabitants of the Skycleaner. Despite the hardships, Lucy had a fairly decent outlook on life and didn't really understand how drastic the situation the world was in; afterall, she didn't know anything else besides the winter. By the time she was around ten years old, both of her parents were killed when a wave of snow toppled onto them during a hunt. It was this time when Lucy took a change and started her lonesome life. At first, she avoided everyone as much as possible, but gradually just stopped caring. Lucy retained her quiet demeanor, but she didn't mind interacting with others. However, the way she acted, not many chose too. Lucy decided to be like her parents, and be a scavenger, not only did it give her more time to think by herself, but in a way she was possibly saving lives and preventing others from going through what she did. Around her twentieth birthday, something happened with the dorm situation and she was moved from her current dorm to another, which the inhabitants included a woman mechanic, a child, and what appeared to be some metal "being." They introduced themselves as Ishild, Maya, and the Scrap being Zlota. Over the next two years, Lucy was starting to come out of her "shell" after being around the three of them. Why are you Searching: Lucy searches for nearly the same reason she started being a scavenger. She doesn't want people to experience loss, or she wants it to happen as little as possible. Once she found there was a way to make this everlasting winter end, she eagerly hopped aboard.

Name: Charley Bennett Age:17 Alpha Power:The first of Charley's abilities, if you could call it that is the fact that Charley changes gender when coming in contact with sweat from the human body. Whether it be Charley's itself or from another person, or from exercising, or simply standing outside on a hot day with the sun over head. However, with this change come Charley's abilities : When in male 'form' Charley wields Super Human Reflexes and when female, wields Increased Acrobatic Ability Appearance: A Female Charley and a Male Charley. No matter what gender Charley currently is, Charley usually wears a jacket of some kind, usually like a casual blazer and various pairs of jeans and lastly a nice pair of tennis shoes. Charley's clothes hang rather tightly, not skin tight, but tight enough so that they don't become a nuisance while being mobile. Personality" Charley's a fairly calm person, the physical and emotional training from Topotech has crafted Charley into a controlled and calm person. However after a certain task, Charley's become a more sensitive person, and often expresses emotions more than in the past. Charley believes you have to craft your ideals by yourself, it doesn't come from one's parents, their employer, or even the faction they're with. That could partially be the reason why Charley's opinion about Topotech is what it is. Charley also carries around a picture of her family which includes her father, mother, and herself as an infant. Charley's very attached to this photo and sees to it that it's not forgotten anywhere or damaged anyhow. Biography: Charley was actually born a female, in a hospital, like most infants of middle class wealth. It didn't take long for her parents to noticed the first of her "abilities" as Charley seemed to change gender when physically active for some time. They assumed that's what caused it, and Charley still thinks that way today. Both of Charley's parents were Alphas, one possessing her inherited Reflex "upgrade" and the other possessing the inherited Acrobatic prowess. At the age of around seven, it was tipped off a family of Alphas lived at Charley's house. The house was burned, Charley captured, and both of Charley's parents missing. The Agency took Charley in, immediately starting to mentally break her down so she could be used as an Agent in the near future. Charley's training went flawless and she was crafted into the Alpha hunting tool of Topotech. Charley went through her share of missions, capturing, killing, anything her superiors asked. However, on her last mission, she was tasked with eliminating a "weak" Alpha; a little boy. For some reason as the boy begged for his life, her emotional state changed and she ended up sparing the boy. All the emotional augmentations had worn off, and she started to dislike what Topotech was. In fact, Charley's next thing she's planning on doing is leaving the Agency, which Charley is currently planning. Hope that works for you, Chibi. If I'm asking for something too big, or something doesn't seem right, PM me. ~Rurou
The 3 minute vizard rule seems to have come out of nowhere though.
I thought they were just being smartasses.

You should try out Riviera : The Promised Land. It's an RPG for GBA that's a great game in my opinion. The battle system is pretty unique, although it does hold true to the turn based RPG style. The moving system is unique as well, but you might not like it all that much. It's kinda hard to explain too. It's got a lot of "traits" I guess most Japanese RPG's do, humor and quirkiness included!

When did they say it was exclusive to the 360?

I have to admit, after thinking ODST was going to be crap, I'm going to change my mind. In all honesty, I didn't think Halo 3 was that great, or atleast the multiplayer, and I had a feeling ODST was going to be the same, however watching the little demo they showed got me pretty interested in it. As Magus said, the new Splinter Cell: Convictions actually looks pretty cool. Never been a big fan of the series and only played the first one like ten minutes and got kind of bored. :/. But yes, the previews looked somewhat of a Bourne-style (my favorite movies) which definitely a plus, like he said. Assassin's Creed 2... Aaah..Yes.. The one game I'm truly waiting for XD. I loved Assassin's Creed and this one looks super good. It looks like all the familiar stuff is there (judging by the gameplay video.) And they've added some new, cool, stuff. The graphics looks amazing and I thought the intro video was some commercial for some product using a masquerade as a little hook. The fight system seems totally revamped and looks twice as good. I couldn't care less about the flying machine, I'd rather run around the cities and see the environments xD. Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII. I didn't see any presentations on them, but I'm waiting for them also, and want to see some stuff on them, although I probably missed it. >.> There are a few others like Modern Warefare 2, but I'm not gonna go into details because I'm not "eagerly" expecting it I guess?

I've been busy with school this past week. Had like four tests on one day. >.>. I'll try and get something up soon.

Haha, yeah, I've been working on it a bit. I don't think I've done very many lately, but with the replies to this topic, it gives me a reason to post them. Only two xD

So far, I haven't really thought of a conclusion it would bring. But basically, that rat would be an information gatherer for the mafia. Clue them on personnel, movements, the sort. I haven't thought that deeply into it. As to who it would involve, like I said, I'm not really sure. It would surely involve my character, maybe a few of the other Police officer's who are being played by other OB members?
-
Regarding Korey's statement, I've actually thought a little bit about a plot, for me atleast, and it would probably affect a few other's stories as well. I was thinking of having a rat from the mafia inside the Police, seeing as how my character's wondering about how the Mafia found about his Police ties. This could then intertwine a bit with some other people's plots. If you've got a complaint about it, Korey, I'd be fine to change it a little, but I thought I'd ask before I did any drastic.

I agree with Shinmaru, this show does look pretty promising after watching the first episode. Also, I'm a sucker for Bourne Identity style plots too, being a huge fan of the Bourne series; both movies and books. First thing I noticed when I opened this was the beautiful animation. No more crowds with people idly standing around, they actually move in Higashi no Eden. As well, the environments are stunningly rendered and even the scene at the beginning with the taxi pulling up surprised me. I'm looking forward for some beautifully rendered fight scenes too. Hope that's a possibility. Now Akira does have quite the personality I wasn't expecting. He is a jokester and like Shin said, he's got a charming personality. Unlike the Bourne movies, this episode's riddled with quite a bit of comedy and even a Bourne reference, which I chuckled at. All in all, I can't wait to see Episode 2. ~Rurouni.

The outside greeted me coldly and harshly as I departed from the building. I reached into the pocket of my coat, pulling my black leather gloves out. It was freezing out! I pulled the collar of my coat over the bottom of my face, its false fur bringing what little warmth I had a little closer. I readjusted my items, pulling my handgun back into my left hand. I knew it'd come in handy soon, things were going to get messy. With my hands towards my sides I took off at a speedy walk. My footsteps were the only audible sound in the night. The rhythm going back and forth. That peace was broken by the sound of screeching tired which were about a block away. Myself, I was a block from my original point. I turned myself backwards, seeing the black sedan pull up. I broke into a run, but it was too late. Two of the four men were already heading after me, their suit clothed arms reaching into their jackets, pulling their Berettas and what not from their holsters; ready to shoot me down. After all, its their orders. The chase was on. Two muzzle flashes flared, each depositing a lead bullet into the atmosphere that traveled at thousands of miles per hour. My arm muscles roared as I launched myself over a fence and directly through a nearby house's window.Shards of glass sprinkled around my figure to the wooden floor. I headed for the stairs immediately; Jesus these guys were fast. My senses perked up, and I dove to the ground. It was just in time for the house owner to appear in the doorway to his bedroom with a double-barrel. It's force rippled the air, and sent the two mafioso sprawling to the lower floor. I cursed, getting back to my feet and running the corner in time for the shotgun pellets to rip apart the wall. It was times like these, adrenaline in my blood, anxiety running freely in my mind, the feeling of possibility of death, it brought me back to the days with the government. My mind snapped back to reality to find myself shooting through another window in the house. My right foot kicked up on the sill and launched me through the hole in the house's frame. I pounded to the grass with a grunt, my legs buckled underneath my weight and I rolled, sprawled onto the lawn. Only for a moment, my reflexes worked at their best getting me back to my feet as I ran off, hopping my way through a couple of lawns before I made my way to a parallel street. And still, only one question raced through my mind. 'How did he know I was with the Police?'
-
EDIT: Read Korey's post and that probably works better for me.
-
Well I'm not really looking to gun down a cop lol, so sorry. xD
-
Wait, took the wanted hit on Drizzt, what do you mean?
-
Well, if you want to you can use me, but you're gonna be responsible for contacting me, haha. My guy's basically in the middle, being hunted by the mafia, and being chased by the Police. Planning on making things a little deeper in my next post though, so I don't know.

Like the majority of people, I'm gonna go for Shy's. Been wanting to do a Battle Royale-ish RP lately.

"Haha, you're fucked now, Rurouni!" The ugly black piece of metal in my hand came up and cracked the man across the face. As he toppled to the ground my handgun pointed directly at his face. The room was dark, not pitch black, but dark. light bounced off the sweat on my face and both blood and sweat on his. My breathing was some what erratic, a side affect of the adrenaline pumping through my blood. "Listen, and listen real good." I paused for a moment, collecting myself."You're going to tell your little "family" to quit following me and trying to take me out, alright?" The man, who was laying on the floor with his limbs tied to a char reluctantly looked back up at me, his vicious smirk ever so visible even beneath the steady flow of blood from his nose and lip. "Little family?" He laughed. "You're calling the mob little?! You yourself should know by now we're everywhere in this city, especially after all of out men you took out for those jerk-off cops." I motioned forward one more time, my gun still pointing at him threateningly. "You're going to tell them if they don't stop gunning after me, I will cripple you. Do you under stand me?" He chuckled."I said do you understand me?!" "What're you gonna do to us?" He laughed again."Now you don't have the protection of the government. You see, the only reason we couldn't kill you before is because you were with the Police, now you're free game." I looked at him one last time. This was it! It was deliver the message now, and then leave. "You didn't touch me back then, because you couldn't. The reason stands. Now, you're going to relay my message." I walked over to him, helping his chair back onto its four legs. I reached into his pocket and pulled out a cellular device. I went to his 'Recent Calls', 'Received Calls' and called the first number. The person who answered was easily distinguishable as a mobster. "I'm at 244 Washington Avenue." With a final press of a button, I put the call on speaker phone and set the man's phone on his lap. I then lowered my weapon and took my final steps from the building out into the streets of this cursed city.

I'd be interested in this, although I usually don't come up with any ideas, some end of being pretty good when they show up. Atleast in my opinion at least. But yeah, count me in.
