He sat there. On the stone cold bench that was the only friend in the room he lived in. He was hunched over, his elbows resting on his knees as he twiddled his thumbs. It was an interesting feeling. The silence that is. Kasa enjoyed the silence. It was peace in the middle of chaos. It was the eye in the middle of the storm. It was nice. He heard the rhythms of his breathing almost in unison with his heart beat. He looked up now, his hands moving to the firearm at his side. It was a Glock 22, the magazine recovered by the officials so he wouldn't be a hazard. His hands played with the trigger, grip, and pulling back the bridge. His peace was interuppted by the sound of footsteps. He could tell it was two men coming. When they arrived, the door opened and found a man sitting there twiddling his thumbs. The first man was dressed in a uniform and held an AK-47, pointing it at Kasa. "Come on, you're needed." After no movement, the man aimed the gun closer. Kasa sprang, he grabbed the AK with both hands, one hand removing the clip and then twisting it. The man's hand on the grip was let go , but he still held onto the rifle with his other arm as it was twisted behind his back. Kasa then pushed him into the wall, still holding his arm. His free hand on the man's back to make sure he wouldn't move. "Don't worry, it's not anymore experiments." Kasa looked at the scientist outside the door. Slowly, he released the man from the hold and followed both of them out, and down the hallway.

Special Ops Soldier 1 Name: Kasa Gender: Male Brief Bio:A master of the environment. Also, a master of hand to hand combat and firearms, he's one of the best they have when it comes to close combat. He takes up a fast style with fluid movments to get rid of his enemies the quickest way possible. But he's also a tactition. He replays the situation over and over, just to make sure the job is done successfully and right. There is always an objective with him and he'll do nearly anything to get it done. He's very calm, not letting panic or anything get a hold of him on a job. Kasa is no heartless soldier. He has no need to kill each and everyone of the hostiles he encounters. As his style is stated, he finishes them as quickly as possible. Wheather that leads to killing, or simply knocking unconsious, he's no mass murderer. He's also determined to not take civillian life and stops nearly anyone who tries. Before Daphner Run, Kasa was a lowly local police officer trying to make the world look like a better place. He worked hard day after day and soon sought that nothing happened depending on his efforts. Thrown into a depression, Kasa let his determination drop and hardly did his job with any motivation. He over heard a talk one day of the new experiment, and later told his boss about it. He was sent to the lab, claiming he wanted to help save lives. He volunteered to become what he is today. Description: Standing at average height with a slightly muscular build. Kasa has short, nicely cut brown hair and brown eyes. He usually walks around in casual civilian clothes to 'blend in' with the crowds. He doesn't like being noticed, and hates when people watch him. Items/Weapons:He carries around two hand guns. In his bag that he carries around is a knife and a few tools for in the field, including a couple silencers, laser sights for certain occasions, a scope, and extra ammunition.
If he suddenly starts speaking like Hulk Hogan for no reason at all, then I take back everything bad I ever said about Naruto.
Won't we all? lmao..

Well, living in Michigan I havn't seem many famous people, but I've been surprised by a few. I remember one time at Target I swear I saw Wee-Man(I don't know his real name.) and I'm not just saying that because of the person's height, it looked exactly like him. Plus, I heard recently, they're filming the new movie Whip It, or something like that in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area, so I might get a glimpse of Ellen Page. ;)

As Zen said above, you need to work on proportions. There are some improvements from your past post, which is good, but your anatomy is in need of some practice. So, just keep working at it and you'll get it.

Very nicely done. Lmao, it had a good number of laughs. Some of the parts were really random, and I mean really. But in the end that just made it better. And to jump on the bandwagon like everyone else, the Sam and Frodo bit was hilarious.

Looks pretty interesting. An RP as a side story would be pretty cool as well. But, it's got a very unique setting should I say? Or maybe it's concept, either way can't wait to read the first part.

Well, glad to see you're feeling better and that the people at OB helped ^_^

Sorry for the double-post, but I said I'd have some new stuff up in a few days. So, here they are: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/Schoolgirl.png This was just a random drawing I did, but also one of the first where I added a background, haha. I think it came out pretty good. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/GoW-1.png This was a drawing based off a Gears of War soldier I did when my family and I were out at a restaurant one night. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/Cima.png This is actually a character design I'm using for a manga that I think I'm going to start soon. And no that's not a cape, it's the two ends of the scarf lol. >.> And to top this post off, I'll throw in some of my gfx work. They were all made for another forum, which is why there's a different name on it lol. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/KreNaruto2.png http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/Kreaznchickv2.png http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/KreMusicv2.png http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/KreFLCL4.png http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/KreSimon2.png http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/KreFLCL2v2.png Newest to Oldest order.

Art My sketch dump - Couldnt think of a more exciting title -_-
Kre replied to Alucard's topic in Creative Works
Ooooh...Some very nice stuff. I don't really like the first one, but that's either because of the leg issue, and I'm just not into the joker horror-ish things. x.x. Other than that, I'm diggin' the other two. Especially the last one, when drawing hands I can never get the mechanics to make it look 3-D. Anyway, great stuff, not sure why you'd be scared of posting them. -
Thanks for the tips and compliments. Tutorials, yeah they probably would help. Guess it's just me being too lazy to google stuff but whatever. I havn't really drawn anything recently, but I'll try and get some new stuff up soon.

So I started playing MGO, and I have mainly two pet peeves about it. One, is it just me, maybe it's because I have all level 1 skills, but does it take everyone else like one hundred shots to kill a single person while you sometimes die in like 3? Also, is it just me or do your skills level up like REALLY slowly?
-
Right, so I decided to start one of these. In this thread, as the name suggests, I will posting my art. Anything from drawings to banners and the like. So, I guess with that, I'll start posting. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/Altair-1.png This I did AWHILE ago, back when AC was like, first announced. Not my best, and yes, I noticed I messed up on the knives at his waist. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/Jo-1.png This is a pic of Jo from Burst Angel that I drew. I did that sometime in 07 I think, so not that far away. In my opinion it's probably one of my best drawings. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/LookinDownTheBarrelofaHotMetal45.png This drawing I drew while listening to the song 'Dani California' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and that line in the song stuck. So, I drew what I imagined. My scanner didn't pick up the lines the best though. x.x http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/Rurouni922/OfficerTequila-1.png This I did awhile ago as well. Not sure exactly when...But it was a little after I rented Stranglehold on my 360 and I enjoyed it. So I did this drawing in the middle of class. >.> Creative criticism would be greatly appreciated, and I'll post more sometime :D

Well, I went over to my friend's house, who just got a PS3 like two days ago. He rented MGS4, and when I got there he was playing it. After about an hour or so of watching him play, I asked if I could start a story mode, and he let me. The beginning was amazing, but also really cliché.
I mean, Snake coming disguised as a Militia-man, and then all of them dieing.
But the animation was still amazing and it was a pretty cool beginning. The thing I don't like about the cut-scenes, is, as everyone's said: They're really long. It annoyed my other friend who had also come over to skip the cut scenes where
Snake meets Meryl.
Not exactly sure if that needs a spoiler tag, but oh well. So all of a sudden these guys bust through the wall and start shooting me. And that's where I stopped. Ah yes, and the scene where Snake first sees Johnny. That made me laugh. Spoiler tags should only be used if you are revealing things in the story that people wouldn't know without playing through the game. I'm sure that those who know the background things about MGS4 will know that Snake will eventually meet Meryl. ~Korey

Well, if you still do requests, I would like to see my death where it starts out with me walking back into my apartment. Then an assassin busts in with a firearm of some kind, doesn't matter to me. I dis-arm him and then starts a Bourne-ish hand to hand combat fight. Fast paced and brutal hand to hand, but not brutal as in fantasy gorey. Eventually it ends with us backing up to the balcony, where he picks up his gun once again and I push him off the balcony as he puts some rounds into me, killing us both. If you do it, thanks. You seem to be a good writer from the passages I've read ;D

If you mess up, just rewind time to fix your problem - Prince of Persia games No matter what, you can't jump diagnolly, you must jump straight, then left or right to get to your goal. - Prince of Persia / Assassin's Creed A helmet can prevent being killed in one shot to the head - Bourne Conspiracy.
-
Yeah, so it's confirmed. There's a new Prince of Persia game coming out for PS3 and 360. Although, it's also been confirmed that the new game is totally different from the three based off the Sands of Time game. In the new one you play as a whole new person and it's a whole new story. The game is supposedly coming out near the end of 2008. Anyone else hear about this or anything related and are waiting for it as much as I am?
And you should post up the banners in your own thread anyway! You're never going to learn and progress if you keep them stored on your hard drive without showing them to anyone, haha. Comments and criticism are a beautiful thing. You learn A LOT from it. ;D!
Yeah, I DO have an art thread that's like three years old haha. Posted in it once or twice when I basically first started doing some Photoshop banners. Perhaps I'll resurrect it from the dead and post my pieces that I like. =D
What got me into art/graphic design? It was back in 9th grade, so a little over 4 years ago, and I discovered this one really interesting website. At the time I was really into anime, which I no longer am, so I was interested in finding anime websites. I found theOtaku. And then OtakuBoards. Haha, as surprising as it is seeing the current condition and activity level of the Art Studio, OtakuBoards and many GFX artists on here actually got me really interested in art. Nomad and Kenji were actually two of my early influences, I really admired their artwork and banner/art making abilities. At first, I was using MS Paint, which is just awful. I know, hahah. Then I got Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 which I still use to this day, but only to add borders to tags/artwork, hahaha. I was never really good with PSP 8.0, and I was only making artwork every now and then. At this point, I thought making signatures and LP digital artwork was fun, but I never really took it seriously. Then, I finally got my hands on Adobe Creative Suite Design Standard. I was always just messing around with Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS, but this time I started getting more serious towards the art field. It's been about a year since I got Adobe CS Standard, I have since then purchased the upgraded version to CS2. I'm also planning on getting my Bachelor's in Art/Commercial Design within the next few years. And it's all thanks to OB, ha.
As Alucard said, that's pretty impressive. I too plan to get a degree in some sort of graphic design, although I'm having trouble deciding whether to go farther with illustration, computer graphics, or music. I was basically raised around Photoshop, with my dad who worked as a photo re-toucher for some car companies, and now works for a newspaper in Atlanta.(I don't get it seeing how we live in Michigan.) I would use some of the banners I made for OB, but sadly they exceed the size limits :(
Haha man, DBZ, the show which is so influencial to most manga geeks out there but few who like to admit it. -_-.
Yep, definitely so true. Don't see why though, most people were like five at the time, and that's why they liked it. But, who knows eh?
