Well, I've had millions upon millions of best friends, but, my one and only true friend will always be Autumn from North Carolina. *hugs Autumn* Anyways, when I first moved to NC, I didn't really know anyone, so I was very, ver shy. And I mean VERY. XD Well, of course a lot of people came up to me to talk to me, which some of them are my very good friends, but Autumn was the very first one to ever be so nice to me, so we became best buds until I had to leave to England. We became friends in my freshman year of higschool to my junior year when I had to move to England. I miss her a lot and I wish I didn't have to move, but we always keep in touch and I know she always thinks about me, so, Iknow we shall never forget each other. Heh..my other good friend, Remy, he always made me laugh and always did the "Captian Jack Sparrow" accent for me because he knew that I loved it. He always used to say, "Tu invites mi fiesta en mi los pantalones." Go figure that one out. XDXD

Well, this year, I don't know what I'm getting, but my madre y padre always get me something that they know I would want: anime, manga, video games...anything that they know I would like. My dad knows what Ilike, but my mom is the person who always gets me something that she knows I would like, hence me liking her better. Lol. XD Anyways, as for giving...well, I didn' get any of my friends anything because I am downright poor. That's right, you heard me: P-O-O-R. XD Actually, one of my friends is an OBer, and I realized he didn't have a banner and avatar, so...I made him a set with Link and his screen name. Needless to say, it wasn't very good I thought..u.u; But, he PMed me back saying that he loved it. I was like..woah...really?? XD But, yeah.. I'll prolly get some anime stuff and video games..you know, the whole shebang. *ex dee* XD

Yeah..I thought it looked kind of boring and plain. I did do this without experimenting, so..yeah. XD Anyways, I made this banner and avatar set for my friend and I did way more stuff than on the Yuna one. I made little green twinkling stars, changed the colors of the background, did a ripple effect on the background and added a little sparkle. I think it's little better than the Yuna one: As you can see, I kinda saved it before you told me about it, Imi-san, so it's still pixilated, but I thought it was pretty cool. Heh.. I'll work on the Yuna one when I get a little better. It's slowly coming... but it's coming. XD Oh, and I was also wondering if anyone knew how to make a line border for your pictures in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I don't know how, so if anyone could help me, that would be great. XD

]Haha. I bet you're happy that someone finally replyed to your post. Too bad it was someoone like me, though. XD Anyways, I tried to look up a picture of Naota, but I don't know who that is because I don't watch FLCL, so I picked up the best pic I could find. I'm new at this, so I understand if you dont use it. Here it is: Sorry it's kinda pixilated... my bad. XD Anyways, I put your OB screenname because I didn't know what you wanted me to write on it. And I also used the star effect because I thought it was pretty cool. Heh heh...stars...XD Anyways, I hope you like it and I don't mind it if you don't use it because I know it sucks. Lol. I had to teach myself, so, it's coming along...slowly, but it's coming. XD Well, PM me or write in this thread to let me know if you want me to change anything. *bows*

Well, Ive always had Photoshop for sometime now, but I've never been taught how to use it. XD :animeswea So, this one Yuna banner was my first attempt at making stuff from photoshop and I want to keep practicing so that I can do some other cool stuff with it. It was my first attempt, so I know it sucks and no one's ever taught me how to use it, but I know some tools and what they do. So, without further ado, this is my firt banner that I ever made: Kinda pixilated, I know. Heh heh... Please tell me what you think about it and tell me what else I could do to it. Remember, this was my first try by myself, so, I know it's bad. Plus, I'll also be adding other works when I make them. XD

Yay!! Imi-san replyed to my thread!! XD This banner/avatar set looks really cool!!! Thanks so much!! Although, I am having problems on how to use these...can someone tell me how or provide thumbnails of these??? I want to use them soon!!! Arigotou!!

I don't play that much gun-toting video games, but I would have to say that I have some from various games. Like Vincent Valentine from FF VII because he is like the coolest gunner ever. I always used to like it whenever he shot at something because he always made it look cool. Heh.. half-vampire guys always get to me. And Yuna from FF X-2 because she did look a little tougher with two cool guns instead of being a summoner, but, I have to say that I did kind of miss summoning aeons all the time. XD Do gunblades count as gunslinger?? Just wondering...XD

Yeah, thanks, Imi. Gah... I couldn't find another picture that was just like that one. It was either too dark, too small or it was on a PS2 cover. XD Well, I found this one, which works for me because it's pretty cute: If anyone wants to use the first picture or this one, then go ahead, by all means!! Of course, I still want all the same things, like the writing and the avatar picture on the bottom of my first reply, but you can also use this one or the other first one for my banner. Arigotou to everyone again!!

Mine states that in KH, when some people (not everyone) didn't really like Riku that much because he turned bad in the end. But, actually, in the end, he realized the error of his ways and went back to being the nice person that he really is. So, my custom title means that even if Kairi, Sora and everyone else forgot what Riku actually set out to do; which was save Kairi and take her with him everywhere, I will never, ever forget that we all make mistakes and lose the path that we were on and that I will always remember his true purpose, which was a kind and caring one after all.

Anime Name an anime that you can watch over and over
Riku replied to meka2003's topic in Otaku Central
I could watch FMA over and over again. I just really love that show. Every episode can make me laugh or cry at a moments notice. And there's so much mystery, I love how the puzzle slowly unravels. Also Kare Kano!
I totally agree with you, ominous-aura. I could have seen an FMA episode a million times, but I won't stop laughing or crying because I really love the show. Also, Fruits Basket, D N Angel and Hayao Miyazaki's films because all of them are so addicting and I also like the music to these animes as well. -
I totally love FMA because of the fact that there are some things in there that make your heart feel for the characters. Like, if something happens, you can definitely feel remorse for the people involved in it. Well, I would have to say that my favorite characters are Ed and Al, of course, but I totally love General Havoc, Huges, Riza and of course, Mustang. It's funny to see them all together. Like in one episode, Mustang was just about to fight Scar, but Riza tripped him and shot in his place. After Scar had left, Mustang said, "Why did you trip me?!" and Riza replies, "Because, Sir, you're USELESS in the rain." And Mustang went all depressed and said, "U...useless?!" LOL!! I thought that was so funny!! My favorite episodes have got to be episode 13, Fullmetal V.S. Flame, because I totally liked the whole show! The fight against Mustang and Ed, when Huges showed his little daughter's picture, when Mustang had an idea that when he becomes boss, all girls will wear mini-skirts and when Riza taught Black Hyate that he shouldn't use the bathroom inside. XDXD That part was so funny!!! But, my favorite plot was the Shou Tucker and the chimera. That made me cry so hard because I had grown to love Nina when I watched her during the episodes. And also Alexander!! That cute doggie always made me laughed when he jumped Ed. XD All in all, FMA is, by far, one of the greatest anime shows ever and I hope it's popularity doesn't go down for a long while because Ed and Al totally deserved it. OH, and so does everyone who worked on it. XD

Yay!! A Fullmetal Alchemist Caption!! XD Ed: "Hey, look!! A UFO is right beside our train!!" Two men: "Yeah, sure, you little brat!" Ed: "Oh, umm..then...look!! Your boss is wearing...*gasp* GRANNY PANTIES!!!" The man on the left: "Gah! I told him not to dothat again in front of people!!" The man on the right: "D..do I really have to look?" XD I thought that was so funny!!

I know that I already posted something in this thread already, but I totally forgot another game which I killed the most time on. Sad, I know it's going to be... :animeswea Well, the other game that I killed the most time on would have to be...dun da da dum!! Kingdom Hearts!! Haha, everyone prolly knew I was going to say that...XD :p Anyways, I had beaten that game a year ago, but I didn't want to stop playing it because I wanted to get all the Keyholes locked, I wanted to beate all the tournaments, get all the summons, play all the cute little mini-games and get everyones final weapon, which by the way, looks really cool. And, I was also very determined to get the ultra secret ending movie, which was very worthwhile after spending so much flipping time on it. Well, after I did all these things, beat the game and saw the seret movie, I put it down and I was so proud of myself, but then I realized that my characters levels weren't at 100, so..I played throughout the whole thing again. And even after all my characters got to level 100, I continued beating everyone in the Coloseuim, including the Ice Titan, which I beat about ten times; the Rock Titan, which I beat about seven, and Sephiroth, which I beat about....ahh, let's say twenty. Hey, I like fighting Sephiroth and even after you beat him twenty times, he's still a very good challenge. :bash: :blackeye: And, I beat the End of the World over and over again, that includes the Behemoth, all the little enimies in that last room and all the cool forms of Ansem; which it was actually very annoying when he repeatidly said I couldn't beat him....heh.. yeah, right, Ansem. :raspberry Anyways, I actually spent many months and hours playing the ending of that sucker because I couldn't get enough of how cute and sad the ending was. And, yeah, I don't mind if you say that I had a lot of time on my hands because actually....I did. XD

Anime What anime do you wish you never saw in the first place?
Riku replied to serenayasha's topic in Otaku Central
I wish that I had never seen The Winx Club (if that is considered an anime.. XD) because I thought that that was the most girliest show in my whole life and the voice acting really bit the dust. I'm not saying that it's a bad show, I'm just saying that I really didn't like it because it was too girly for me. For me, a show about girls turning into faries is just over rated. I think I've seen too many anime shows with girls changing into magical things and saving the world one villian at a time. XD This is what I think Winx girls look like when they change: :hippy: Kinda makes you wonder, no?? XD -
Well, I guess you can say that I am a KH fangirl, so I think that KH is ONE of the greatest games ever to hit the PS2, not the only one. Anyways, when I did beat the game, I had everyone's Ultimate weapon and all my characters levels were at 100. Perfect, eh?? ^u^

Oh my... a favorite FF character thread!! This will be so hard to choose...XD Well, I have a couple of favorite characters from various Final Fantasy games, so here goes... Aerith or Aeris from FF VII: Every enemy and boss battle that I went to, I always had Aerith on my team day and night. Like Cloud, I would never, ever switch her for someone else because I always had a really close connection to Aeris, even after she died. *Sniff* I cried the whole time when Cloud laid Aerith into the river and say her sank all the way down. It was so sad because she was one of the greatest characters of all... :bawl: Yuna, Tidus, Lulu, Auron and Rikku from FF X: Lol. I really like FF X a lot because it was one of the first Final Fantasy games that I ever beaten, so I had a lot of favorite characters in here. Yuna because she was so kind and had the most problems to face with, but she never let her Guardians down, especially Tidus. Tidus because he was always there for Yuna whenever she needed him and loved her with all his heart, and he kicked Seymore's a** when he kissed Yuna when she didn't want to, I was so happy :bash: :rotflmao:. Lulu because she was so full of wisdom and I totally loved it when her kawaii dolls would copy her moves when she cast spell on people. I would always laugh and say, "Aww..they look so cute!" And I had always liked her because she was the coolest and calmest lady in there. Auron because I always liked him from the beginning when I saw him. I was all in love with him and then when I figured out he was dead, I was like, "Rats..." :grumble: But, when they sent him and his sword fell down into the ground, I realized that my one and only Auron was gone... I miss him.. :bawl: And Rikku because she always put a smile on me and everyone's faces, even when the time was rough, she always made us happy. I always liked Rikku for her cuteness and her innocent energy. :p Anyways, there you go for my favorite characters from FF. But, I also liked Leon, Rinoa, Zell and Ivrine from FF VIII.

I haven't ever been one one before, but my idea for a really romantic date would be that me and my boyfriend would go to the fair and ride on the Ferris Wheel. Even though I'm scared of heights, my boyfriend would hold me and gently caress my hand, saying that everything would be okay and there's nothing to be scared of. And then, when our seat is in the sky, we would look up at the stars and maybe even cuddle for a while. Another idea I think would be a really romantic date would be that we would go to a park and bring a picnic; then, if there was a river, we would slowly ride in a boat and look around at the wonderful scenery. Then, we would lay down our picnic blanket under a tree, have lunch or whatever, and then I would lay in my boyfriend's arms while he would hold onto me. *Sigh*.... that would have to be the most romantic date that I would ever dream of... :love2: :animeblus :animeshy:

Since it is almost the dawning of the New Year, I would like a new banner and avatar set to go along with the coming of the new game Kingdom Hearts II, which is coming out soon. For the Banner, I would like this picture: And I would like these words: "Even if we are apart.... We will never forget.." written in a cursive-like font and in silver or another shiny color; whatever's best for you. And for the avatar, I would like this picture: And on the bottom right hand corner, I would like, "CloudsOnly189" and on the top left-hand corner, "Never forget...." written in small cursive and in blue-silver color. If you can do something like this, then please send it in. Arigotou to whoever makes this set!! You will be very appreciated!!

Kesnai Tsumi from the Fullmetal Alchemist ending is one of my favorite anime songs. And I always liked the ending scenes because it was so cool and sad, too. I also liked Melissa from Porno Grafitti and Ready, Steady, Go! from L Arc~En~Ciel. They are like the coolest band ever!! Woot!! Also, Rurouni Kenshin has some good ones and so does D N Angel.

Even though mine is really lame, I made it up at the spur of the moment. Right when I signed onto OB, I had just finally beaten FF VII after long months of putting it off and cramming it into a month. I was so happy that I finally beat it, so when I had to make up my username, I thought, "Hey, maybe I'll do something that has Cloud in it and defines that I adore him a lot!" So, that's where I came up with CloudsOnly189. CloudsOnly1 saying that I'm his only one (lame, I know, yeah?), and 89 when I was born. I was also thinking about using other names before I thought of this one: FF Angel: Signaling that I love FF and it's also my artist pen name. RikusSteps89: Lol. It's my flashflashrevolution.com name because I couldn't think of anything else. KingdomHeartsSavior: I just thought of this because I liked KH so much and I wanted it to be known. I think if I ever want to change my name, though, it will have Riku or Kingdom Hearts in it because everyone who knows me, has seen my profile, picture, avatar and banner or has seen my otaku site, automatically knows that I heart kingom hearts. Hey.. maybe my new username should be I_
If it's my favorite anime then I wouldn't care what anyone would have to say. If it's something that I haven't seen yet then yeah I'll consider the opinion... won't believe it 'till I actually see it though.
Yeah, I totally agree with you there, NinjaJedi. Anyways, opinions on what other people say don't really matter to me as much as they think it should. If I did care what other people's opinions were, then I wouldn't be the person that I am today, you know?? Well, if someone gives a crappy opinion on an anime that I really love to watch, then I would say, "Hey, whatever you say, that's your opinion, but honestly, I don't care." Like, one of my friends knows that I totally love Fullmetal Alchemist and Fruits Basket, so everytime I talk about it, he always has to say something bad about it, like, "Oh, that show is so totally lame," or, "I can't believe you watch that." He just has to let everyone know that it's not a good show, but I really don't care what he says because that's his opinion. Now, if it's an anime that I haven't seen, then maybe I'll listen to their opinion. But, I won't solefully agree with it until I have seen it with my own eyes. If I have and didn't like it myself, I'll agree with them. In the end, no, people's opinions don't really matter that much to me. If it did, then I would be doing stuff that depends on people's opinions, which would be so totally boring. :sleepy:

I would say that there are a couple of good bosses in Kingdom Hearts, some of them hard and some of them not hard, but really challenging. Here are my picks: Cereberus- Oh my gosh... that three headed doggie made me so scared whenever he did that meteor flame thrower thingie. I was running all over the place. And trying to climb on it's back was a total pain in the a**; but I was determined to win because he stepped on poor Cloud. Poor thing.. he looked like such a wimp when he got stepped on, I was all like, "You are gonna die now, Cerberus because you stepped on Cloud!!! :flaming: :rotflmao: Sephiroth- That long silver haired evil boy was pretty hard to hit at while he kept teleporting around to different places and hitting me out of nowhere. The moves that I totally hated was that huge aura move where it came out of the ground: totally sucked. And Sin Harvest.. holy crap, whenever I heard him say that, I Superglided may way on over to him and smacked him with my Ultima weapon. If I didn't get him in time, then I quickly got out a Megilixir and drank that sucker down or else have to start all over, which would totally suck. :moron: Maleificent Dragon- Three words: Flipping burgers hard. And that's really hard. I hated it whenever I got on her back to hit her and she all shook me off. I'd say I wasn't very happy. And she'd always throw green flames at you and swing at you if you were in front of her. Whenever Donald or Beast die, I was like, "Great. I'm dead." Took me several more tries to beat her than any other boss in KH. She was very challenging, but, when I finally beat her, I was still shaking and sweating and my heart was pounding, but I was increduously happy when she died. :angry2: :cussing: Yami Riku Fights- Okay, I always liked fighting Riku because he wasn't as hard as Maleificent the dragon, but equally challenging enough. He was always quick as lightning and did some pretty awesome cool sword moves, thought it sucked if it had hit me. I really liked the second one more, though, because it was a little tougher than the first one. I liked the beginning movie before it, where Sora blocked Riku's swing with the Olympia Key and where Donald and Goofy couldn't help me fight. Yeah... I liked fighting possesed Riku all by myself without any funniness going on, if you know what I mean. :bash: And, last but not least.... Ansem Boos Fights- He wasn't hard, but I liked the fact that you had to beat all the forms of him before he totally died. I was so happy when that evil sucker died. :smirk: Well, those were some of the good bosses in KH and hope that people who played that feel the same way. I would have to say, though, that the Colisieum Tournaments were pretty good when you had to fight Cloud and Leon together..heh.. I always didn't know which one to clobber first because I like them both equally. I was like, "Hmm....who should I take down first?? Cute gunblade holder? Or one-winged cutie?? Desicions desicions...." :love2:
I got mad when ppl called it "cartoons" even before I knew it really was something different called anime. LOL heheh... :animeswea
I know exactly how you feel. My mom knows that I love anime and that it's different, but my dad still thinks that I'm still a little kid who watches kiddy cartoons instead of doing something educational. Go figure. :lecture: :haha: Well, my very, very first anime was waaayy back ago when I still lived in hawaii and I was about....ahh, let's say four or five. I was at my grandparent's house watching T.V. I was always over their house cause they gots the cable. :rotflmao: Anyways, their cable company had a japanese channel that showed all kinds of japanese shows: dramas, sitcoms, late-time shows and anime; all in japanese. Well, there was this one anime show (I totally forgot the name) that had this little black-haired boy and his white dog. It was so funny because he would always do something to get him in trouble or he would always moon somebody. It was so flipping hilarious. That, my fellow otaku, is how I got into anime, but more funny, less mooning. The curry comercials were cool too; all them curries looked so good. :tasty:

Yay!! A christmas-y type of thread!! Lol. :animesmil Well, a tradition that me and my family always do is make christmas cookies throughout the whole week that christmas is on. We then decorate them and totally pig out and stuff out fat faces with cookies and hot chocolate by the fire. I'm the one that always eats the most of them because they are so good. :animeswea :animesigh :animesmil Another tradition that we always do is decorate our artificial (yes, artificial. But, I was so against this because I always love real christmas trees because they smell so good and christmay time, but, I lost, so we got an artificial tree. I d*** all those fake trees to hell! :flaming:  ) tree the same colors every year: blue, purple and silver. We do different styles every year; like blue and silver, purple and blue... you get the idea. And at the top, we always put an angel that we have used every year ever since we moved from Hawaii, which was about four and a half years ago. It's like it reminds us of our old home..*sniff* We also always make a birthday cake and address it to Jesus because christmas is when he was born, so it was his birthday. We always make it and sing happy birthday to him, pray and then eat it. The cake that we always make is really good and I really like that tradition. I'm a christian, so, that'smy favorite part of christmas. And the last but not least thing we always do is on christmas eve, me and my sister always open one present each year, just for the heck of it. I really like this part because if I open something that I really like, I'm always so happy with it. Last year, the early present that I opened was the GBA game, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. You can bet I was playing that thing throughtout the whole night. My mom and dad both know that I love anime, manga and video games and what series or titles that I like, so they always get me what they know I would love. Well, that's it for the tradtions. I can't wait for christmas!! I've already decorated my computer with a Sora background. He's in that cute little santa outfit, which makes him look so cute!
