Last minute people. Meh, I know I use to be one of those people, but that was way back in my elementary school days when we had those science fair projects. Now I'm dealing with people paying bills at the last minute, right when everything is about to happen. Now I can't do much to help out since I don't have a job to support my folks either, otherwise, I'd gladly help out. Stubborness is another big issue I'm getting pissed at lately. Basically in my house. I'm mainly quiet about the topics that come up in my house. (Such as bills and relationships) Sometimes it can escalate to some stupid argument, but most of the time it ends with someone acting stuck up. (Anyone saying "you need to get out more" I agree with you. Whether it's a drive or a walk, yes I agree.)

So, I finally got my copy of the game. (FINALLY) I had to sell the majority of my games (and a few animes) to get it too. Only thing though is that I'm missing the bonus disc. (which brought the price down to $50, so it was either a take it, or leave it deal.) What's on that disc by the way? In any case, I've only played like a good 10-20 minutes of it. From what I've played it is interesting to say the least. That auto function is a nice thing for it especially if I ever get to lazy for some things, but I probably won't rely on it too heavily. I haven't had the chance to fuse any demons yet. I'm going to start over though because I was just toying around with things, and I probably missed something already. I did have a chance to get a Fairy, Shikigami, and a Kodoma (sp?) to join my side though, and I did get pass the 1st boss. So it is a fairly decent game so far. Graphically speaking, I'm still getting use to this whole cell shaded graphics in a RPG. I mean I was just playing FF8 yesterday, and in comparison, they don't really stack up too well, but like I said, it's just a matter of adapting. Music. Meh, I'm not much of a fan of it, but like DMC3, it seems to fit, so I can brush that aside. I look forward to seeing how this game will turn out.
No... because Michigan, USA is reknowned for eating meat pies. I, personally, don't like them. But I'm a pumpkin pie man myself :']
That's something new, and I've been living in Michigan all of my life. Unless we're talking about the hamburger pie, (that's the only meat pie I know of.) which my mom rarely cooks anymore. I'm not much of a pie person, but every Thanksgiving, the only pie I would touch is Sweet Potato pie, and I only eat 1 slice of it so... I'm with Desbreko when it comes to cake > pies. Although all of the sweet stuff messes with my teeth, (sensitive teeth... so the dentist says...) so I just stay away from both of them.

I've always heard that you'll regret not going to your prom. I'm pretty sure almost everyone has heard that before. Well, I didn't go, and don't regret it at. I didn't participate in any of my high school events. Mainly because I didn't really care for the school. And at most of these events something always jumped off. With the prom being no different, a fight broke out. (And I think a fight broke out before the year I graduated as well. And afterwards... My school has a history of fights breaking out at proms for some stupid reason.) Over some he said she said garbage... I think. Forgot the details but it's somewhere along that category. If I were to ever go to a prom, I'd probably wear a royal blue suit. Too many people wear black, white, or cream colored tuxes a little too much here.
A new con i just thought of is that i'm trying to buy the complete series of eureka seven. but it only has volumes that are $20 a piece. it be easier to have a complete box set.
In most cases, that could be true, but it also depends on where you're shopping at as well. Some sites are selling volumes for about $7-$10 a piece while the whole boxset is around $80-$100. And then there are times where you don't have enough money to buy a whole boxset, so you just buy as many volumes as you can.
-
As far as music goes. I'm not buying anything. I let my family buy / download all of the music, and I just listen to their stuff. All of it is mainly gospel, so I'm pretty content with it. However, I am buying (or considering to buy, once I get some good money rolling around.) a few movies and tv shows. 24 - I just can't get enough of this series. Even having all them stupid people that makes me yell at the tv can't keep me away from it, and there are quite a few people in it that are stupid, to the point where they deserve to get killed, and whatnot. With all that being said though, it's highly addicting, and I just have to see everything without the commercials. Friends - I didn't really start watching this series until season 5. (maybe 6) And what they're playing now are all over the place. I don't know if they're playing the shows in order, and I have to see it from the 1st season. (I didn't even know that started in 95 until season 10 rolled around.) I also like to see the bloopers to these tv sitcoms for even more laughter. The Protector, Ong Bak - Pretty much anything Tony Jaa related. I can watch these movies pretty much all day, everyday. It was good to see a martial arts movie without the use of wires, making everything look phony. If I could've kept the movies from blockbusters, I would've, but unfortunately, my folks wanted different movies. That's all for now.

2007DigitalBoy (sorry for calling you out.) said something about watching 10-15 animes (and being under educated)doesn't make you an anime fan in the "Anime Pros and Cons" thread. And that made me remember an argument I got in with this guy about the same thing, well, almost the same thing. I told the guy I didn't like Akira, and so that didn't make me an anime fan. I always thought an anime fan was someone that enjoys the animes they watch. Apparently, my defintion is still flipped and flopped. So, what is an anime fan?
I'd say the biggest con of anime is having to put up with Narutards and the like. I don't know about others, but where I live Naruto is HUGE within the goth community and there's always people wearing Naruto shirts and stuff. What's sad is that, unlike Dragonball Z, most of these people know tht Naruto is anime, as well as the BS on AS, and proclaim themselves 'anime fans' when a great deal of them have seen no more than 10-15 shows. Even if your just watching stuff that's out in the US, there's no excuse to be so freaking undereducated.
I agree, somewhat. I'm one of those people that have seen about 10-15 shows (maybe 10-20), and is undereducated about a great deal of anime stuff. (that, and because I'm picky with my animes :)) Does that make me an anime fan? I'd like to think so, but I'd consider myself just a casual fan because I don't dwell on it too much. I agree on having to put up with "Narutards" as you put it, but in my case, anime fans in general. Fans that becomes obsessed with shows, and characters to the point to where they become real defensive when you mention one itty bitty negative comment about something or some character(s) they like. And then we have those fans that has to say some fanboyish comment. "....... ROXORS" or "...... PWNS". I've never been to a convention, so obviously, most of my anime experience comes from the internet, so, and one has to wonder if an anime online community is that bad, are they much worse offline.

I'm just going to keep my mouth shut from now on when trying to predict the outcome of mangas. Now I have to eat my words about Ulquiorra (or Espadas in general.) not letting Ichigo just up and leave, but then again, I guess I should've seen it coming, oh well. I was beginning to wonder what was going on with Grimmjow seeing how he's been absent for quite some time.
Perhaps another betrayal? Like with Renji in the Soul Society arc.
What was the deal with
them girls at the end of the chapter beating on Inoue?
Jealousy?

Anime Your "To Buy" list? (anime and manga edition)
Magus replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Otaku Central
I don't really buy manga's since most of those would end up just sitting wherever I toss them for quite some time, and then being thrown away afterwards. But as far as anime goes. I haven't thought about it too much, but I should start considering to buy more of them since it seems like AS is killing off the animes that's airing on it. (weeknights) And there's not much that really interest me on that "On Demand" thingy. (there my only access to anime at the moment) Anyways, [strike]Dragonball Z - Actually, the whole series. Ranging from DB to GT. I've been craving some mindless screaming, dragged out fighting as of late. I use to have these on VHS, but I decided to record over them. I may just decide to get movies 9-13 instead though seeing that I haven't seen those yet.[/strike] Edit: Changed my mind. I don't want it anymore. Ronin Warriors - This one was pretty good, but I caught this one on Toonami from the midpoint to near the end of the series. Something happened in between causing me to miss the rest of the show. (I don't remember what it was. I probably stopped watching it because I was always hanging out after DBZ went off.) So this is one that I need to see from the beginning. I'm actually hoping that On Demand would put this on one day. Yu Yu Hakusho - Like Ronin Warriors, but slightly different. I saw the Spirit Detective Saga, Chapter Black, and Three Kings, but missed out on the whole Dark Tournament. Well, I did see some episodes of that saga, but I missed the majority of it. That's about it at the moment. -
*Shocked* r2 did the forbidden. :) I combined your thread with the oldie. The last pokemon game I played was Silver, and that was a long time ago. Now I just don't play portable games. Not saying there's anything wrong with them, but I'm not interested at the moment. Although, I do need to go back to playing them though seeing how easily bored I get these days. *Shocked to see myself posting in a Pokemon thread*

IGN Article Atlus has announced a new entry in its "Persona" branch of the Shin Megamitensei series. The latest issue of Famitsu has first details on Persona 3, which is in development for the PlayStation 2. In Persona 3, you play as a 17 year-old boy who's just transferred schools. Immediately after entering his dormitory, the character comes under attack of a Shadow, a new enemy introduced in Persona 3. Shadows have the ability to summon Persona demons. After coming under attack, the main character inherits this ability as well. The main character is unique amongst Persona users in that he has the ability to switch between Personas rather than just summoning a single creature. He ends up becoming leader of a special extracurricular force attempting to defeat Shadow. Other human characters, including fellow students Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori, have the ability to summon a single Persona, and end up joining the group of Shadow fighters. Persona 3 takes place in Minato Ku, a town consisting of a harbor area called Iwatodai and a man-made island called Port Island. Your school is located on the island while your dorm is located in Iwatodai. You take control of the main character during each day of school, starting with arrival in the morning and ending in the afternoon as you head back to your dorm. Between classes, you can investigate the school grounds, and following the school day, you can do the same in town. Players get to experience school life in Persona 3. The game lets you work through a year of in-game time. Most of your activities on weekdays take place following classes, but on weekends and holidays, you can make appointments with other characters in order to strengthen your relationships. The relationship with your "Comyu," short for "community," has an effect on your battle with the Shadow. Even on days where you don't have an appointment, you're free to just wander around town, visiting shops as you like. This is true even during summer vacation. The game includes summer school, a summer sports meet, and other events for your time away from school. Other characters go through school life as well. On the days prior to a big test, your allies will lock themselves away in their rooms and concentrate on studying, meaning they won't be able to help out in the fight against the Shadow. Characters will even get sick and miss classes. This might seem like the makings of one of those Japanese school-based love simulation games, but Persona 3 provides the expected Megaten-inspired twists. The world of Persona 3 does not use a 24 hour clock. When the clock turns midnight, the world enters "Shadow Time." The Shadow roam the streets during this time, providing the perfect opportunity for you to do some exterminating. Normal people who don't have Persona summoning abilities turn into coffins during Shadow time and lose all senses. Some do manage to make the transition in human form, and end up serving as targets for the Shadow, who like to feed on their spirits. During Shadow Time, you and your party members get into battle with Shadow creatures. Battles begin by all party members making use of a pistol-shaped summon device to call out their Persona (this is unfortunately done by the characters aiming the device at themselves and firing). You can also opt to skip out on the Persona transformation and use weapons to directly fight the Shadow. Emerge victorious from a battle, and you earn new Persona Cards. These cards hold your Persona summons. By taking two or more cards to the game's Persona Room, you can combine cards into a new Persona. While you lose the previous Personas, you earn a powerful new one in its place. Directed by Katsura Hashino (director of Shin Megamitensei III Nocturne), and featuring character designs and art direction by Shigenori Soejima (character designs for Devil Summoner, art direction for Stella Deus), Persona 3 is set for Japanese release on 7/13. A US release has yet to be announced. Old news, no doubt. This article was posted in March 2006 ;). In any case, this is my first time reading and hearing about the Persona series. I take it that this is another one of those rare gem games since I've never heard anyone mention the series before. I also see that it's a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series which I've been dying to get my hands on. ($60 for used games... There's gotta be a place that sells them cheaper.) I'm quite interested in this game because of the Persona summoning itself. I read at gamespot that you have to
shoot yourself in the head to summon a persona.
(spoilers for just incase measures) I didn't see any articles about the release date yet. I would post some screen shots, but I'll wait a bit for that. I'm quite curious to hear opinions about the older games as well. Are they worth checking out? (that is if they're findable and atleast in the $20-$30 price range)

I don't play board games these days. If I could, I would, but everyone is either too busy or too tired to play any board games. My brother tells me he's going to challenge me to a game of chess or checkers, but we never get around to it. Thanksgiving use to be board games galore though because my family would meet over at my grandmothers' house and my cousin would bring alot of games to play, ranging from Jenga all the down to Clue. Clue and Monopoly are some of my favorites though.

Oh, crud pucker. Banner thieving ;) As long as you said it was cool though.
-
I used your avatars last week Keyblade :) Changed it recently. (Wednesday) Both sets of banners look prettiful. I'll use them if you don't mind. The Ulquiorra banner looks familiar, but oh well.
-
Both sets of avatars are prettiful, but Keyblade, I'm not Oblivious =D. Thanks again though. ------------------------ This time I'm asking for a couple of sets if you don't mind. Like the avatar's, nothing too flashy, but nothing real plain either. Set 1 -------- Picture: Grimmjow
So Ulquiorra's ranking is finally revealed. Number 4, so does that mean Noitora is #1 since he stated it? I haven't seen an Espada that lies yet, lol, so...

Poor Ichigo, stabbed in the chest yet again.
Isn't that where his powers lie or something like that?
I still stand with a quick save or reinforcements coming around. Sure, Nell can heal Ichigo, but I don't think that'll actually at this point.
Aw crap, my fault Sephiroth, can you repost or re-edit your post again. I thought I clicked reply with a quote and instead clicked the edit function. Wifi, that's being able to play games online right? I can't speak for everyone, but I'm one of those who don't play games online. As far as your other question (which I edited by accident.... *curls in a corner*) I always thought the ps3 wasn't backwards compatable. (Since that's what I was always told) I never heard people talking about it's backwards compatability.

IGN Article Sony Drops 20GB PS3 in States Consumers favouring the high-end 60GB model, ten to one. by Rob Burman, IGN UK UK, April 12, 2007 - Sony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed that its axing the $499 20GB version of the PlayStation 3 in favour of the far more popular 60GB model. Although there are still 20GB versions available in stores, Sony won't be replacing them once stock runs out. "This is based purely on consumer and retailer demand, which favoured the ($599) 60GB model 10 to one," explained SCEA PR boss Dave Karraker. For those existing 20GB PS3 owners, Karraker confirmed full PlayStation support will continue to be available. Furthermore, as is customary these days, Karraker also took the opportunity to take a swipe at Microsoft. "Current 20GB consumers will still be 100% supported with software and services," he boasted, "since all PS3s have the same basic architecture. Unlike if Microsoft were to stop selling their Core system, which would allow publishers to actually use their hard drive for gaming purposes, leaving the Core user out in the cold." Oooh, get you. The news is likely to be met with casual indifference in Europe, where the lower-end PS3 was never released. Good news, perhaps, but it kills any plans of me waiting for a price drop to be even cheaper. :)
No, Euchre. Oh how I hate Euchre.[/i']
Oh? Never heard of that one.
Another thing I hate, and no one can help this, not even me, but those random pains that spring up for no reason. Like just now, I was taking a nap, and then I woke up because I had a sharp pain in my chest. I was convinced that I was going to die and it scared the bejesus out of me. Stupid body, scaring me up like that.
That's one you should get checked out. I don't know if it was the same, but in mid to late Feb, I was having chest pains, and an achy (sp?) feeling that kept traveling to my back and arms. /off topic-ness.
I'd have to agree with poker sucking. There's another card game that all my friends play whenever they can, and I hate it so. More than once I've been stuck watching them play it for hours. I don't recall it's name, but it involves lots of nonsense and the word "renig."
Spades. I have another one. People who talk through movies. Especially the movies (or shows) where you're trying to catch the story. The moment when things start to pick up, or there's some type of deep conversation going on where you need to listen to every detail, someone just have to open their mouth. You tell them once, that you're watching this and they say "ok, my bad". 10 minutes later, they come back talking, so this time you tell them to shut up, and then they want to get an attitude with you.

Tough question. I don't really listen to the radio or look at videos anymore (it's been about a good year) so I'm a little in the dark, and what I have heard lately isn't all that great either. If I had to choose, it would probably be Eminem, but last I heard, he was done with music so "shrugs". Perhaps Beyonce. I heard she made 4 (5?) new videos.. Maybe I'll check out the radio one of these days just to get caught up with the times :animeswea .

The only movie I'm actually thinking about going to the theatre's to watch is Spiderman 3. Bourne Ultimatum and Rush Hour 3 will just have to wait until I actually see a preview or something. The other movies, bleh, I don't know, I haven't been interested in the rest of the movies just yet.
1.Naruto~this anime is just very addicting and awesome >3< I don't know anyone who doesn't love it!
Now you know one who doesn't love it. ;) Anyways, I've been growing pretty fond of Rahxephon as of late. I've heard all the Evangelion comparisons and whatnot, but I'm convinced that this is actually better (Granted that I never cared for Evangelion in the first place.) although there are some confusing parts here and there, and I have to re-watch it again to fully grasp everything. I guess I can finally add Bleach to my list of favorites as well. I do find it a bit overrated though. (I only watch the dub, so I'm not counting the voice overs.) But we're only at what, 25-26 episodes into the series? Anticipation is growing pretty high in terms of certain fights I want to see in motion. And going back to an old favorite. Dragonball Z. I'm a sucker for action, and this has lots of it. Mindless power-ups, screaming, and transformations. I can't seem to grow tired of it all. By no means have any of those reached top 5 calibur for me though. Just adding on. :)

Now 270 is a rather interesting chapter. Here we have Ichigo
fully powered, over powering Ulquiorra (maybe I am underestimating Ichigo a bit.), but Ulquiorra looking as calm as ever, not to mention, unreleased yet.
I've never been interested in the rankings of the Espadas, but now I'm kind of wondering Ulquiorra's rank. I think I have to retract a few statements.
One in particular, the espadas not letting Ichigo and friends leave, or perhaps Ulquiorra's just too nice, lol.
I look forward to the next chapter.
