1. Nothing. Well, hopefully I'll be doing something, but I have nothing planned as of yet. I guess, I'll be trying to stay cool. I get real cranky during the summer because I can't stand the heat, and I get very little sleep. So the first thing I can work on is getting an air conditioner. I have a window fan, but I have to worry about the mosquitos that would always get in. For a fun summer, like I said, I have nothing planned yet. Everytime I do plan on doing something, something else would come and hold me back from doing anything. (Especially around birthday time.) I am thinking about going to a casino for my birthday though. If I do, I wish that it'll go well. It's about time for me to get some type of luck coming through.
 2.
I doubt we'll get reinforcements. If anything, this arc is tending towards
a sound defeat and retreat by our heroes. Chad's down, Rukia's down - and unlike the Soul Society arc, as far as we can tell they're just being left where they are. I can't see the Espada bandaging them up and throwing them in jail. And if Ulquiorra is half as powerful as it's been hinted he is, Ichigo has his work cut out, helpful hacks from Nell or not
. If Hueco Mundo is suddenly overrun by Vizards or Captains it'll be a bit *yawn*. The good guys need to lose this one, so they have more invested in the winter war.

While a defeat is at hand, and it is about that time for a retreat, but I can't see anyone retreating outside of Ishida. Ichigo and Renji are too rash and stubborn to know when it's time to bail.
But if they do smarten up and
decide to retreat, I don't see the espadas actually letting them go either :), although Aizen made it pretty clear that they're not worth the time, so maybe they will let them go.
(But that don't sound right or smart at all.) So I have to stick with my speculation of a rescue (2nd rescue) or something.
 3. Hardwired Guidelines Welcome to the Hardwired forum, where you can talk about gaming, technology and web development. There's a few guidelines to follow though. 1. Game specific topic deal with only that one game. A single topic is used for all discussion of that game and can be posted in regardless of its age. Please check the [thread=56766]Topic Directory[/thread] before creating a new game specific topic. 2. General topics have topics involving more than one game. For example, the [thread=57780]What Are You Playing?[/thread] topic is a general topic. Please look over the first two pages or use the search function to look for similar topics before creating a new general topic. If there are none recently active, a new one may be created. 3. To avoid revealing major plot elements of a game under discussion, please use spoiler tags. They black out the text between them, requiring others to highlight the text to read the spoiler. Example:
[spoiler]This is a spoiler.

Becomes:

This is a spoiler.

4. Topic that don't spark conversation should generally be avoided. Search topic, asking where to find something, are one example; simply use Google or the Ask a question topic instead. Favorite topics, asking what people's favorite whatever is, are another and are only permitted if reasons are given for people's choices. 5. When in general topic about gaming, such as " What is your favorite video game music" please refrain from simply listing information. This does not generate discussion and your post will be immediately deleted. If you have any questions, feel free to PM one of the Hardwired Moderators and we'll be glad to help.
 4. Aw!!! I misread it. Thanks for clarifying. So that takes away those questions. I haven't played either Metal Gear games so it would be nice to finally play those versions. I wish they would upgrade those as well, but it can't be helped and I'm asking for a bit much so.... I'll let it be. ^^ --------------------------------------------------------- So I finally got my hands on MGS3:S about three days ago, and I have to say if feels a lot better with the camera being adjustable. One thing though, they took that adjustable camera away during the last fight. Kind of upsetting, but "shrugs" it don't really take away much. I haven't tried online mode yet, and I don't think I will either. I'm not a fan of playing games online, especially when I don't trust many people. I like the addition of Demo theatre as well. To be able to keep going to Ocelot being a show off is something I could look at all day. Well not all day, but for quite some time before going to another demo. The secret theatre was crazy as well. There are a couple I didn't particularly care for though.
Sokolov and Sokolov, Snake and the that guy kissing.
I don't think I'm going to attempt the original Metal Gear games either. I can't get myself to go back to the old games from way back when. (I know. Why didn't I just stick with Snake Eater? Because I wanted the new camera, and it's also none of your business :) ) Overall, the game is still as good as it was before. (better, being able to adjust the camera) But I still like Sons of Liberty a little more. Both of them have areas where I hate playing through, but there's something about being on a hanger/strut, whatever they're called, that I like more than being in the jungle. One more thing. The song that Ocelot first makes his appearance (And almost everytime he comes strutting through). What is the name of that tune? Because I can't find it for nothing. Edit: Now I'm frog hunting, and I'm having a problem. I think it's a glitch or I'm looking in the wrong spot. According to this frog location guide at games, in Dolinovodno, the frog is suppose to be on the other side of the bridge on the top post. Now I've ran back forth on this bridge about five to six times to make sure I wasn't blind or anything. That frog isn't there. Possible glitch on my end?
 5. Meh, it's getting a little too old to see these girls becoming so attached to Sasuke.
But I'm going to assume Karin (that is her name right?) is one of those females that flaunt her body to be manipulative to get what she wants. [strike]SLUT[/strike]
So far, I'm not seeing anything special about the two new characters though. (In terms of personality.)
Maybe that new guy at the end of the chapter will be more interesting.
I happy that they're taking time away from Naruto and company to focus on Sasuke and all (I would've been more happy to see them focus of Akatsuki a little more.),
but since Orochimaru's been out of the picture
, it just seems a little boring.
 6.
At this point I am expecting either Soul Society to step in somewhere, or a quick save from Urahara and Youruchii. (sp?)
Seeing that there's always been some type of quick save in desperate situations. Maybe I'm taking Ichigo a bit too lightly, but then again, I just don't think he can beat
Ulquiorra
at the moment.
 7.
That's all for now, though honourable mention goes to the Metal Gear Solid series, the Grand Theft Auto series [more for the humour of it than the actual quality], Ace Combat: The Belkan War and ZoE: The 2nd Runner for having some of the best voicework in PS2 games ever[/B']. In my humble opinion, that is.
I didn't think there was a soul alive that actually thought MGS had bad voice overs, but to each their own. I respect your opinion, and I'm not going to question it (sorta), but I am a bit curious as to why you think MGS has bad voicework? In any case, I also can't stand Tidus voice in Final Fantasy X. In fact, I couldn't even continue the game because of how horrible I thought his voice was. I mean, when he's actually narrating his own story, that actually sounds decent, but most of his conversations with the other characters, and in battle (atleast I think they did some talking while in battle. I haven't played it in quite a long time.) was horrible. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Edit: Nerdsy point it out to me, and I figured I was misreading from the start. My apologies Dodeca.
 8. Back again. Like last time, I just want avatars, so it'll be less time consuming on the avy and banner makers. Also like last time, nothing too fancy, but nothing too plain either. I still gotta have my name up there somewhere though :) Take your pick of the pictures below. Grimmjow Byakuya Superman If you have better pictures feel free to use them.
 9. Songs to stab my ear drums eh. Honestly, I've been growing tired of most music for quite some time now. My list is fairly short though because I only listen to Sean Paul (Reggaeton) and Alicia Keys every once in a blue moon. (And then my random moment of listening to random songs by old schoolers such as Prince, Michael Jackson... Mainly a trippin mode from me.) I also listen to Gospel so... "shrugs" But in any case, let's see. Songs that really gets on my nerves... Any heavy metal. I've never been a fan of heavy metal, and to just hear people screaming to the top of their lungs about things I don't care to understand. Sometimes, I wonder what do people see in it, but hey, to each their own. Rap, well, not all rap. I'm a fan of most 90's rap music, (Mostly 93-98) and every once in a while some Run DMC. But nowdays, it's just really tiring or ridiculous to keep hearing the same things being said in every song. But if I do listen to some rap songs, it's mainly Eminem or some fast pace music. (Twista, Bone Thugs n Harmony) But to list a few songs that I can't really stand though... I can't name any songs in the heavy metal genre. I don't know any names. - I think they like me. (Stupid title... I can go on about this all day if need be.) - White Tee - Most songs where they have song type of silly dance to go with it. (Lean wit it rock wit it.) - This is Why I'm Hot And then some other random songs that I've heard - Chicken Noodle Soup (Another stupid title that I can go on all day about.) - Breaks my heart (I don't know if that's the name or not, but it just kills my ears.) But as I said, I don't really listen to music anymore outside of the rare occasions of Sean Paul, Eminem, Alicia Keys, and Gospel.
 10. So my copy of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja arrived yesterday, and I have to say it's definately a game for the fans of the series. However, to me, it's just not all that great. I particularly like DBZ Budokai 3 more than this (and the Street Fighters series), but then again, Budokai 3 beats out most if not all anime games. I like the idea of using the whole environment and whatnot. (It's good to see someone is actually taking notes from Power Stone.) What else.. I actually hate the idea of using one button as the attack button. (I didn't like it DBZ:BT, and I don't like it here.) It makes things a little bit too easy. Sure you have the kunais, shurikens, that can be tossed at the press of a button, but I still like the old school style of a punch and kick button. I pretty much beat the game with everyone, but Sakura and Naruto. I can't stand them :) and refuse to play as them. Err.. When it comes to they're moves.... Mainly speaking about the super moves... Most of them looks pretty good. The dialogue can be stupid at times as well. But overall, it's average. (Like most reviews said it was.)
 11. So I have another order of games coming. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. I was in the mood for a fighting game, but not your average Soul Calibur or Tekken type fighting game. Gulity Gears was sold out, and so that only left either that Street Fighter Alpha Collection (or was it anniversary?) or Naruto. I went with the latter (obviously) because I haven't played it yet. For MGS3: Subsistence, well, I traded Snake-Eater in because I already beat it (everything was unlocked.), but I was still craving it, so what better way to get back into the series with the newer verison... That, and I couldn't think of any other game that I really wanted.... "coughs"
 12. I was just watching Voltron earlier. (The 5:30 time slot, eastern time.) And I was thinking to myself, how did I ever get into this series? While it was good back in the day, but when watching it now, ugh, everything just seems so corny lol. Listening to Pidge's (I think that's that kids name.) voice is really hard on the ears to. The dialogue ranges from obvious to stupid as well. I'm not going to touch the animation or action. (it is old afterall :)) But with all that being said, seeing Voltron again was pretty nice, but I can only laugh at what I saw in it back in the day.
 13.
I'll be honest and say upfront that this isn't a terribly innovative show. When it comes to long-running shounen action series, Prince of Tennis falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. However, it does have its merits and ends up being oddly addictive.
That's agreeable, and I'm the type that don't even watch sports animes. I'm not saying that they're not good or anything. They just don't appeal to me, or rather, I don't want to see a basketball or football in cartoon form. (Nor am I interested in them.) But when I saw the 1st episode of this show, I was more interested in the series. But that quickly died after watching the 1st episode as well. :) While the episode itself was catchy, and the animations looked pretty good. It's not one I'm willing to stick with. One thing I don't care for about the series (I've seen about 2-4 episodes... so I don't know if it holds true to the end or not) is that it has a tendency to do that freeze frame (There's gotta be another word for that.) type stuff during it's matches that is also seen in Samurai Deeper Kyo. That's about it.
 14. I agree with BK here. At this point it does look rather bleak for Sony, but I've never been the type to count anybody down and out until the end. For me, like BKstyles, I don't really have any reason to get a Playstation 3 at it's current price. I mean there's MGS4, which could get more consoles to be sold and whatnot, but I won't buy a $500-$600 console for just 1 game. And lets say Final Fantasy XIII actually do become a multi-platform release, I can't see Metal Gear Solid 4 holding up the Playstation 3 all by itself. Sure there's God of War 3 "supposedly" which I haven't even heard or read about. And then two other games White mentioned that I have no idea what they are. And then there's Heavenly Sword. Honestly, if they do ever come with a God of War 3, I think that would be the only game to actually help MGS4 keep sony in the running.
 15. In this day in age, it seems I am always mad. I try to brush most things aside, but there are quite a few things that'll just push me over the edge. Animal abusers - Or any kind of animal mistreatment. I hate seeing it. I hate talking about it. (I know, I know...) I don't watch anything with it in it. I don't play games with it. I grew up always loving animals, and to see people out there just treating their pets like dirt is something that'll have me pissed at anyone around me. Put it this way, I care about pets moreso than people. Fanboys / Fangirls - I'm not saying all fanboys / girls are bad, but every once in a while (lucky me, I seem to run into them weekly.) you just have those that just urk the hell out of you. The ones that can't be reasoned with because you don't particularly care for something they adore. Opinions don't even matter to them. Those the main things that just pisses me off. There's a lot more that gets under my skin, but those are just petty things. I normally hide it when I'm pissed at petty-ness though (keep it boiled in).
 16. IGN Article A hands-on article from IGN
Hil's Take How many times can a company get away with remastering the same game? Apparently, as many times as it'd like if we're talking about Team Ninja. Building on the success of Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox, Team Ninja offers what promises to be the ultimate version to PS3 in Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Having beaten the original Xbox Gaiden three times and Black once, I thought I'd had just about enough of Team Ninja's brilliant action title. I was wrong. Sigma takes the meat of Ninja Gaiden Black and adds plenty of next-gen crackle. The intro level, which has Ryu Hayabusa attempting to infiltrate a ninja fortress, is crisp and colorful. The action, which was tightened to a frenetic pace for NG Black has been cranked to 11 on PS3. Ryu moves with such awesome speed it's a miracle that the camera can ever keep up. And yet the camera, once a sore spot for the Xbox game, is actually more intelligent this time out and (at least for the most part) keeps the action on screen. If you've mastered Ninja Gaiden Black, the first level poses no true surprises. The items have their old placement, though the swank HD graphics do make the health potions easier to spot. The brown ninjas are the primary enemies on the first level, with some of the tougher white-clad ninjas thrown in to offer a tad more difficulty. The combat remains challenging, requiring lightning reflexes and ample use of the block button. The only significant change, at least to the first level, is the addition of a new weapon: Dual katanas. The dual-wielding katanas are awesome. Though the True Dragon Sword is said to remain the most powerful weapon in the game, the dual katanas are probably going to become a fast favorite for old and new fans alike. If you thought dual-fisting weapons in Halo 2 was sweet, just wait until you get hold of two swords that are each nearly the length of Ryu. With the increased reach and the exceptional speed of the dual swords any halfway decent Gaiden player can easily swath a path of destruction and look cool doing so. One of my biggest concerns regarding Sigma was the use of the Sixaxis' tilt functionality. Fortunately, this is only used when casting ninpo (magic) and works fairly well. When you cast ninpo, just shake the controller up and down to quickly charge the attack. Because Ryu is locked in place during ninpo attacks, the need to shake the controller doesn't disrupt the action and actually keeps you more involved throughout the sometimes lengthy casting animations. Of course, the real curiosity is how Rachel, the top-heavy warrior woman, controls. I'm happy to report that fans won't be disappointed. Rachel's massive war hammer is far more effective in her hands than it ever was in Ryu's. After all, Rachel has been using the hammer a long time. So expect the powerful weapon to have much quicker attacks. Though Rachel can't unleash ungodly high combos like Ryu with his new dual swords, her combat flows well and feels distinctive. The demo only allowed us to play Rachel inside the church, battling a handful of fiends. Most striking is Rachel's ninpo attack, which at full power unleashes a radiant blast that can lay waste to pretty much every fiend on screen. That, however, isn't as cool as her grappling hook. Where Ryu has unlimited shuriken to throw around in combat, Rachel can fire a grappling hook from her wrist. Shooting an enemy knocks them back and is a great way to break enemy combos and give Rachel some spacing. You can also perform some limited swinging by jumping and casting the hook. This isn't a platforming element (Rachel's three missions are said to be combat-centric), but instead is a way to gain quick altitude and alter Rachel's attacks. There's still a considerable amount of Sigma left to be seen. Rachel has three full-fledged playable chapters intermixed with Ryu's original sixteen. There are also some surprises thrown in for long-time Gaiden fans, including new enemies and bosses for both Ryu and Rachel. One secret Tecmo let slip is certain to get Ninja Gaiden fans pumped for Sigma.
Early on in Ninja Gaiden, Ryu's village is being attacked by the evil Doku. A beautiful CG cut-scene shows Ryu battle against Doku and lose badly. In Ninja Gaiden Sigma that CG cut-scene is gone. It's no longer necessary -- because now you get to fight that battle!
This is just an example of the many twists that awaits those who have already played Ninja Gaiden. Of course, those new to the series can still enjoy the "ultimate" Ninja Gaiden experience. Though, more than likely, they'll be too busy getting their *** handed to them to appreciate the experience. I simply can't wait to start playing Ninja Gaiden again. I can't believe I'm even typing that, but yes, Ninja Gaiden has me hooked once more.
That article has 2 pages, but I decided to just get the second page because it talkes about gameplay. The first page talks about the features, which is pretty much the same as Ninja Gaiden: Black. It's said that there will be 50 missions, while 10 of those will be dedicated to Rachel. Pretty much everything's been tweaked a bit, other than that, that's about it.
 17. I just deleted and edit all the posts that weren't containing information to Devil May Cry. From this point onward, anymore off-topic content will be deleted. Kenshin DX, I was not nor ever trying to impress you. I post what I did to share with those who haven't seen the trailers yet. Keep your sarcasm to yourself. ~Phenom~
 18. And to get back on track with the topic itself, IGN has 2 trailers. The first trailer is the same trailer that was at the TGS (I think), but in a higher quality, and the second trailer is with actual gameplay footage.
 19.
Nah im just mad at Sony at the moment. I bought a $600 system for it's exclusives but that was a mistake seeing how 360 now has most of PS3s best sellers. 360 has a lot more exclusives than PS3 such as Dead Rising , Lost Planet , and Gears of War. Sony is doing a horrible job at the moment in terms of games. AT least can never get MGS4 and Final Fantasy they even lost Dragon Warrior. It's quite sad. It's good news for 360 owners but horrible for Sony. It seems everyone is fing Sony over. The only system that has all it's great exclusives are Nintendo. I mean this game was the reason I bought a PS3 now I find out it'll be on 360 a console I already owned way before PS3. You would be pissed to. Damn MGS4 better be the best game ever created.
It's pretty much Sony's own fault. It's already messed up that they have that $600 price tag (That's a utility bill). Some people (like myself) can't even afford that at the moment. And to top it all off, they have this stuck up attitude saying, "if you don't get the $600 console, you're pretty much screwed." Capcom understands, and capitalized on that situation as well seeing that they want their games to be played by everyone that can't afford or don't want a ps3.
 20. IGN Article March 19, 2007 - Nothing seems to go Sony's way these days. One of the PlayStation 3's bigger exclusives, Devil May Cry 4, is also coming to Xbox 360 and PC. To pour salt into Sony's wounds, Capcom announced that the 360 version would release simultaneously with the PS3 edition. "Capcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal," said Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. "This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises." Having sold more than seven million units on PlayStation 2, the DMC series is ready to tackle the next-generation of consoles. DMC4 introduces a brand new protagonist, Nero, who uses the mysterious "Devil Bringer" arm to unleash "non-stop combos." It's unknown if Capcom will offer unique content for each platform. However, in a press release issues today, Capcom stated that "each version of the game will be maximized to take advantage of the systems' strengths." No release date has been set for Devil May Cry 4, though the console version are expected to arrive sometime this year. I'm becoming more and more less surprised to see these top selling sony exclusives going over to microsoft, but for it to be on the pc... That's kind of shocking, but I am happier now that I don't have to cough up $600 for the console plus the game. Now I just have to cough up $400 unless Xbox get a price cut.... /wishful thinking :)
 21.
I don't think this is spoilerrific issue, as it concerns the gameplay and not the story. You have to visit the Graveyard and consume souls (the points you get from killing monsters) to the different altars to obtain the fusions. When you have them, you can consume more souls to the fusions in the main menu to level them up. I'm surprised you couldn't figure this one out by yourself...
So I'm a little slow. :animesmil I knew I could level up the fusions, but didn't know I needed a monster count to get more fusions. It was probably stated during the tutorial, and I just didn't pay attention to it. About the spoiler-ish stuff. My fault, it's a habit.
On a sidenote, Phenom. SMT: Nocturne specifically happens to be one of my favorite RPGs ever to come out of Atlus or the PS2 period. The DDS games were great, but I got a special place in my heart for SMT:N. Nothing beat coaxing demons to join your party and constantly fusing new ones to see who your next favorites are going to be.
I wouldn't know. Every site that I go to that sells games don't sell either game of that series or they want entirely too much for them. ($70 for Nocturne....) And I don't even bother trying to find them in stores, atleast not here in Detroit anyway. If there was ever a RPG that I really wanted, it was SMT. Either one of them would suffice.
 22. I don't hear (or see) too many people talking (or writing) about this game (nor the Shin Megami Tensei series....) unless I end up asking about it and whatnot. Anyways, I've had Shadow Hearts: Covenant for about a week and a half now, and finally decided to start playing it a little bit earlier today. So far, it's nothing too impressive, but I guess that's because I'm just now getting into the game. I just beat some spider looking monster. I do agree with Generic, about the voice acting. It's nothing spectacular, but it's not really bad either. The main character, Yuri, reminds me of Dante from the Devil May Cry series, mainly the 1st DMC. The judgment ring can get a little tedious at times, especially for one that's trying to adapt to this type of gameplay. I like the combo's thus far as well. The magic attacks, I haven't seen anything spectacular, perhaps, it's because I like the magic attacks in FFVII and FFVIII a lot more. This fusion that Yuri can do. It definately sparked my interest in what other types of fusions I can acquire. I see in the main menu that I can visit the graveyard at any time. Does that mean I can get these fusion monsters any time I want or do I have to reach a certain level to get the rest?
 23. Unfortunately, I can only name english voice actors. So far, most of my favorite VA's are all in Ghost in the Shell: SAC, but then again, I think this series is the best in everything ranging from VA's all the way down to animation, but that's a bias thing there since I'm a big fan of the series. Bias-ness set aside, one of my favorite VA's is Crispin Freeman for the role of Alucard in Hellsing. I don't think they couldn't have made a better choice for Alucard because he sold that series IMO. I like most of Crispin's work. I'm already liking him in Blood+ (except for that british... I think type voice.) The only time I don't really care for Crispin Freeman is when he's doing these comedic roles. The only comedic role I liked him in was S-Cry-ed as Straight Cougar. Personally, I think he needs to stick to the serious type roles. He just don't seem to be that great in comedies. If there's any VA I like over Crispin, it is Steven Blum. Of course he is basically known for his role as Spike in Cowboy Bebop, and of course that's where I noticed his performance in. Until I heard him voice acting as Makoto Shishio in Rurouni Kenshin. (I saw RK 1st, but didn't notice him as Shishio until after watching CB.) He can definately play one hell of a villain. (Shishio, Zabuza, and Orochimaru) I also liked him when he was Mugen in Samurai Champloo. Mr. Blum was hilarious in that series especially that episode where he
kept trying to force sex with that kunioichi
. I guess it's only fair that I name a voice actress as well. Well I don't know whole name, but she was Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: SAC. Mary Elizabeth... I'm not even sure if I got that right. If all that seemed bunched and rushed, my fault. I'm having a slight case of insomia(sp?) and it's 7:00a.m.
 24. Ok, after reading these past few chapters of Naruto, I have to say that I've been growing more fond of Sasuke as of late. He's not up there with Itachi, but he's definately catching up. I swear, after reading 346, one would think Sasuke has already obtained the Mangekyou Sharingan. Well, ever since
that encounter with Naruto for the 1st time
, I've always thought he obtained it, but then again, Orochimaru did say that Sasuke's eyes are better than Itachi's. (Not the exact words, but "shrugs" It was something along those lines.)
So they say Orochimaru is dead, or Sasuke took over him.
Whatever the case is, I still don't think
Orochimaru is dead. In some ways, I think there's going to be an internal conflict when Sasuke gets a run-in from either Itachi and / or Naruto.
Anyways, I don't know why,
but I think that guy at the end of the chapter resembles Kimimaro from the back.
25. You're right Chaos. (My games just came recently) It's been a while since I've last played both Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors. Although control / gameplay wise, I still think they're one in the same (in terms of button functionality), but I haven't really played either of them for over 5 minutes though. (Been busy playing Kingdom Hearts 2.) Thanks for the explanations though. Next time I get my hands on some more money, I just may try out the Xtreme Legends and Empire versions.
