No need to worry. MGS3 is still a great game. It's just that I have no need for it anymore. (And I like MGS2 over MGS3) I've got everything that I needed, and there isn't no point in keeping it anymore, if you're going to continuosly get bored of it. (I could try it on Extreme, but "shrugs") I also have the 1st MGS, but can't really play it (no FPV, and it's hard for me to adatp), so I'm gonna get MGS: Twin Snakes for the GC since they have a FPV.

I heard it had a similar style of play of a MMORPG or something, and I've never been interested in those types of games, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I've been real skeptical about Xenogears because of my experience with Xenosaga.. I think it was Xenosaga I or something. (Start off fighting in the street I think) I couldn't get into that game what, but I heard a lot of positive feedback on Xenogears. I've had so many chances to get both Vagrant Story and Xenogears in the past, but around those times, I've hit crossroads... Wondering if I should get Metal Gear Solid 3 and Devil May Cry 3 or Vagrant Story and Xenogears..... And with me not being a big RPG fan, and a vivid action fan, DMC3 and MGS3 won me over.... (And now MGS3 is being sold back.... Go figure. I could've been playing a game that took up a lot more time instead of beating the same game in about 5 hours and getting bored.)

Heh, I guess over the next several months, I'll be doing nothing but playing old games, that is, if the money is flowing right. Anyways, I can't really play any of the old consoles because I got rid of most of them, or they don't work. NES, SNES, Genesis are long gone. I do have the Sega Saturn along with a few games (Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, and Virtua Cop) in the basement sitting on the shelf somewhere, and chances are that the console itself doesn't work anymore. I guess if anything, the only oldies I have are FFVII and FFVIII, and then some old games on the PS2, but those aren't staying much longer. (Getting rid of them on Monday) Honestly, though, I'm playing catch if anything. I started out pretty late with the PS1 and PS2. By the time the PS1 came out I was still playing SNES, and Genesis games. I did ended up getting the PS1 at the same time I got my N64 though. And when the PS2 and Dreamcast was out, I was still playing the N64 and PS1 games. And now the N64 is missing parts, and my ps1 don't even have a lid that can close all the way, so I just use my ps2 for backwards compadability. Eventually, I ended up getting a Dreamcast as well, but that console is messed up now, and even if the console was still in good condition, the best game for it "coughs Shenmue coughs" was scratched up pretty bad, so there was no more hope in going back to playing that either. And now that the ps3 and the like are out, I'm still catching up with the PS1 and PS2 games. You would think that I've had all those old games by now. Nope, because of me being narrow / simple minded, all I wanted were fighting and action games. The games I had for the ps1 were Spiderman, Spiderman 2: Electro, Tekken 3, Tenchu and the Tony Hawk series. I ended up selling those games eventually. The games that I own now and still play every once in a blue moon are FFVII and FFVIII. I do have Chrono Cross coming in the mail soon, and I'm looking into buying Xenogears and Vagrant Story. (Sadly, all I can do is wait for them to stock up.)

Hmm.. I guess so. Then again, in the anime they also said[spoiler] Jineh was part of the Shinsengumi. They just never mentioned what unit he was from.[/spoiler] (bah, already, I have to go back and re-read it.) And after reading all of this, there was still no word about who the 2nd captain was. I know it's just wishful thinking, but I could definitely see more OVA's coming out about being released. With Yahiko and [spoiler]Kenji.[/spoiler]

So I just got done reading the series. It took about 3 weeks for me to finish because I would noramlly forget about reading it some days. To begin, this is definitely a good manga, and worth checking into, that is if you're looking for some action and a nice story to go along with it. Transitioning from manga to anime, I would say the anime did fairly well with delivering the conversations and whatnot, but then again that's just my opinion. However, there is one thing I found a little shocking.. I might have misread it though (I'm pretty certain I misread it, or it could've been a misprint in the translation since I've seen so many errors in it.) but between the chapters of the Kurogasa and the 1st appearance of Saitoh it was said that [spoiler]Jineh was the leader of the Shinsengumi[/spoiler]. (Correct me if I'm wrong) Anyways. The artwork was nicely done, but here's where most of my problems came in at. The characters were drawn nicely, it was the action seen that kind of screwed things up a little bit. Most of the action that was drawn in this, you can barely tell what was going on because it was sort of bunched together. And after reading Bleach (I know, I shouldn't compare) and whatnot, the way the blood was drawn, it looked like a lot of dust or something, and you could barely tell where the strikes were aiming at. I mean, you can see that uhh... let's say Kenshin was struck in the face by a sword. Yes, he'd been struck in the face, but where exactly... The way the blood was drawn covered the wound from a impact from the cut... I think that's what I'm trying to say. Onto the Jinchuu arc. Definitely a good arc, and it had a nice ending, but I like the Kyoto arc a lot better. The arc was really over-hyped (but still good nevertheless), or atleast that's how I feel because everything felt unoriginal at this point. I thought I would hate the part about Sanosuke [spoiler]meeting his family[/spoiler]. I kind of found Sanosuke annoying because he talked so damn much, but this little segment was funny. [spoiler]The exchange between Sanosuke and his father was really funny. (Reminds me of Ichigo and his dad from Bleach)[/spoiler] The final last few fights..... That's where it felt unoriginal at. Well, I take that back. It's just that I didn't really get anything out of them. The last fight between Enishi and Kenshin however, is where things got unoriginal.. [spoiler]The made it seem like Enishi could fly or something with this jumping in mid-air stuff. And the "nerves" stuff... [/spoiler]Made it seem like another Yu Yu Hakusho or DBZ moment. [spoiler]And when Enishi snatched... his "nerves" (or was it his ear drum?) out.. Is his fingers really that small to do that?[/spoiler] I liked the way it ended.... sort of. Put Yahiko in a headband, and he'll look like Sanosuke. Kenshin looks funny with a haircut.... Real funny. But yes, it's real sad that this arc couldn't get animated because it would've been great to see what Enishi's [spoiler]Watou-jutsu skills[/spoiler] look like.

Feh... 2006 IMO was a crappy year for movies. (as well as 2005) Atleast for my taste anyway. (Yep, I have no taste at all) I mean there were a few good ones, but that's just a few.[b] Fearless, Pirates of the Carribbean 2[/b] and that's all I can really think of that came out in 06. Mind you, I haven't been to the theatres in years (since year 2000... other than an incident that happened around that time) since most of these movies nowadays haven't sparked any interest. For 2007, I'm looking forward to seeing [b]Spider-man 3[/b] and [b]Bourne Ultimatium[/b] (and so far that's only 2 movies that really interests me.... so far, it's a gloomy start with movies), and then [b]Crank[/b], and [b]The Protector[/b] on DVD, and waiting to see [b]The Covenant[/b] on dvd when it arrives in the mail. Oh yeah... I think [b]Rush Hour 3[/b] might be coming out this year too. For music... wow... Nothing. I'm pretty much no longer interested in the music industry. I don't listen to the radio anymore since they play the same ol' re-hashed music. (in my case, R&B, hip hop.. whatever) I don't buy cd's anymore either because I'm certain my friends will have them (or my sister's friends), or I'll hear it somewhere in my neighborhood. The tv industry. Now we're talking, but sadly, I'm only interested in a couple of things on that as well. [b]24[/b] season 6 I believe. And then there's this black guy on George's team who has some vicious elbows. I can't remember his name, but he's a favorite of mine as well.

But to see this being ported to the PS3 (which I can't afford at the moment) with new gameplay has boosted my interest in the ps3. [b]Devil May Cry4[/b] - Not much to really say, I enjoy most of Capcom's hack n slashers. Xbox360 [b]Halo 3[/b] - Hard to explain. Just interested in it. Too Human (Or is it called Just Human?) Assassin's Creed That's it really. Not interested in Nintendo at the moment.

I really can't say that I'm looking forward to much since I haven't really kept up with what's coming out. I know [b]Blood+[/b] is suppose to air on Adult Swim some time down the line. I heard quite a bit about it. Both good and bad, and it's just one of those I have to check out for myself. So I'm looking forward to seeing that on Adult Swim whenever it's scheduled to air. Another one I'm interested in is [b]Black Lagoon[/b]. I've only seen a few images of one character, and the art / animation looked fairly nice from what I saw. I haven't heard much about the story. I just heard it was some girl weilding guns and has the mouth of a sailor. So I think that's something that should be checked out. And if there are any new samurai or ninja type animes coming out this year, I'm looking forward to seeing what they're about and whatnot. Other than that, that's about it.

Like I said though, I took a sudden interest in the series because of the reviews at Anime on DVD, and right now it cost $8 a piece at Right Stuf (right up my alley for cheapness :animesmil ). And seeing that I'm in the need of something new (and I'm a sucker for samurai types), I want to know if I'd be wasting my time if I were to be buying it? People were saying that the voices don't match or whatever. I don't really mind them not matching at times, but what I do care about is if there are voices in it that will cause me to cringe? That's what normally turns me away from most animes.

(I'm not even sure if that came out this year) So that's my game of the year. I didn't pay much attention to the story, but the graphics were pretty ^_^. Sometimes it can be a little edgy while in the middle of playing the game because I look forward to being able to use the surrounding enviroment, but there's nothing there that you can use. The soundtrack is nice. It fits the game. Controls were nice even though it's your typical button masher. For once I wish Capcom made an Onimusha game where you can jump. Difficutly. While the enemy A.I. is nothing compared to Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry 3, the enemy A.I. in this is definitely no slouch either though. That is when you start facing off against stronger / advance version of your normal genma's. And when they start swarming you, you'd start to wonder when they'll let up. That's all I can give. Hopefully 07 will be a little leninent on me so I can try out some newer games. [/b][/size]

When I was real young, I saw the old mayor of Detroit, Dennis Archer from a far distant, but never met him. I've also been to Joe Dumars Field House during a school trip, but guess what.... Joe Dumars wasn't there. At this rate I probably won't meet anyone, but "shrugs" I'd treat them like they're just a regular person anyway, so it's probably best that I don't meet any celebs.[/color][/size]

Ah.. that was the first time I've ever been glued to the television, and the first time I told my dad to shut up. I don't remember anything after that :p but I know I regret doing so because I had to wait for reruns to catch the rest of that episode. But that fight literally had me stuck in aw with the fast pace animation, the great music and whatnot. I probably would've had every phone in this house disconnected, people that was knocking on the door would've had to come back the later..... of course I'd have to be home alone for all of this though. :D [/size][/color]

[color=blue][size=1]I don't really think about it at all, mainly because all the anime I watch are all the animes that I've recorded off of Cartoon Network. And most of them are fairly old. Well, I take that back. I have my share of old with DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, and G Gundam. (if those are really that old?) Sometimes I do wish CN would put Ronin Warriors back on for one last time, just so I could record them. (I have a lot of VHS tapes in my stash for recording animes and whatnot :animeswea ) Then there's Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun for the midway. And Ghost in the Shell: SAC, IGPX, FMA, Samurai Champloo, and Samurai 7 for the new. So yeah, I don't really become all that nostalgic about animes since I don't really have much access to new animes. I can only watch my stash at the moment, which isn't much.[/color][/size]
