I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad about this, but here is some of the cast of Bleach dub. Ishida = Derek Stephen Prince - This guy is the VA for Shino in Naruto. He was also Lin from Cowboy Bebop. (Different Alias) Ichigo = you ready? Johnny Yong Bosch - O_O!!!!! Can this guy really play this role? I mean I never seen the sub, but judging from the manga...... Anyways, this guy is a former Power Ranger and also Vash the Stampede, and currently the VA for Renton in Eureka 7. Rukia = Michelle Ruff - She was that Ayase girl in S-cry-ed. Other than that, I don't know anything about her. Orihime = Stephanie Sheh - She's the VA for Eureka in Eureka 7, as well as the VA for Hinata in Naruto Karin = Kate Higgins - That one been known for a while Yuzu = Michelle Ruff - Look at Rukia Isshin = Patrick Seitz - I don't know him Tatsuki = Wendee Lee - Who don't know her. Faye Faye from Cowboy Bebop. Can I see her playing this role..... probably not. Source Like I said, I'm not sure if I should be happy or not with this. But I can hear all the comments now.

I have seen the anime as well, (on WAM) and I will admit that it does have it's moments. The
mob as a teacher concept was an interesting one
, but like Dagger, comedy in animes don't really grasp my attention. Mainly because they're either corny, not funny, or I just don't have a sense of humor when it comes to animes. (Why I kept watching it is beyond me. Nothing else on.... Nothing to do... etc.)

I got FFVII: AC 3 days ago. The movie was pretty good. (Good enough for me to watch 3 days in a row ^_^) For real though, those fight scenes were over the top, and that's all that is really needed for me to be hooked. I didn't really pay much attention to the storyline (hell, I didn't pay any attention to the storyline in the game) because I was so hooked on the fights. Reno and Rude were funny.
Whatever that thing was that dropped on Rude's head
, I found it to be hilarious. I laughed so hard till it brought me to tears. The only thing I didn't really care for was the heavy metal. I'm not a fan, but as much as I dislike heavy metal, it actually fit those fights. It's just a little nitpick, but it didn't really matter. All in all the movie was definitely good. It made me want to play FFVII again that's for sure.

FFVIII is by far my favorite out of the whole FF franchise. Even though the whole stocking / drawing spells thing takes hours, (draw magic till you're at 100 from each new monster...... That's long in itself.) I do like it over the materia concept thing as well. I still haven't beaten it either. Last month I just brought the game again. But yeah, the game is time consuming with the whole [draw] concept. By the time you hit the 5th new monster, you're ready to take a break. That is if you're like me anyway.

That's very nice Keyblade, but I have to ask. What happened to the circle for the more alchemic feeling? In any case, sorry to put you through the hassle, but seeing that I'm not feeling Mustang at the moment. (He still one of my favorites) I need characters that really suits me. So I'm cancelling this request for a new one. Meh, one would think finding FMA pictures would be really easy because of it's large fan crowd, but I can't really find anything. Anyways, instead of 1 character in the banner, we're going with 3. (Greed, Lust, and Envy) The pictures I found aren't good at all so if you have pictures, would you use them? Theme wise.... we'll try an alchemic theme Background - Something that looks villainous. (not sure if that's the word I'm looking for) Text - Fear "shrugs" Avatar, we'll use Greed (with my name of course) and matching background. Sorry for the inconvience, and the sudden change. And thanks in advance. I'll edit my original post.
Anyways, if you give me a chance, I would luff to make this set for you. I mean, it's got the loveable Mustang in it... what more can I ask for? XD Anyways, I also wanted to ask before I started... would you mind if I also added an alchemy circle in there? That way, it's more... alchemic... I guess. :/ Also, if I can't find a flamey font... would you mind if I used something more interesting? Because I have a few in mind that I think you would like.[/SIZE']
Yes to all. I had a hard time thinking of how I wanted it setted up. And I'm still not even sure if I want it like that. (the way asked) So by all means, go for it.

Edit: Cancelled original request. Newer request is a few reply's down. Sorry again.

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Magus replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
While we're on the subject of nit-picking at Naruto, does this show always tend to go at a slow pace? Take last Saturday's episode for example.
When Sasuke won his fight
they spent entirely too much time just to think to themselves about Sasuke's abilities. Maybe that's a good thing to some, but when you spend like 7-10 minutes (that might be exaggerating a bit) doing so, something is wrong IMO. I have problems with the memory thing, but that is for a discussion some other time. -
Lol @ Dagger. Well to be honest, episode 11 was the only episode that I found actually good. Anemone is probably a little too trippy for my taste though. And episode 12 was way out the way with the trippiness. I kind of found that episode to be a little pointless though.
All 3 of them were knocked out right? Did that giant cloud thingy put all 3 of them (Renton, Eureka, and Anemone) in the same dream or something?
I haven't given up on it though seeing that I need to kill time for 1:30 (Samurai 7's repeat)

I see what you all are saying, but poor Halo lol. That's a no win situation for Halo. If Halo 3 is made on a similar basis to Half-Life 2 people are still going to bash on Halo. (I don't really mean bash like it sucks or whatever. Just harsh criticism) Saying they did nothing but copy off of Half-Life, and then we have those who want the game to be similar to Half-Life. (Really a no win situation) But nevertheless I understand what y'all mean by it being repetitive. Thanks for clearing it up.
-
I'm looking forward to Halo 3, but I'm not getting my hopes up. In fact, the only game I have high hopes for is MGS4. To all who're talking about poor gameplay. What exactly are y'all looking for in terms of gameplay? I mean all you can really do in FPS's is run and gun, so I'm not really understanding what makes the gameplay in Halo so repetitive. If Halo is repetitive, wouldn't that make all FPS's repetitive?

That's a nice rundown of the trailer. I just saw the trailer on Attack of the Show. I have to say it lookded pretty interesting.
I'm assuming Gwen Stacy is the lady that Parker was dancing with? (Assuming that she's also playing the role of Felicia Hardy?)
I want to say that they're following the story of the cartoon, and just tossed in a few extra's. If the story is anything like the cartoon, I look forward to seeing the ending.

I see what you're saying, but that's not what I'm really talking about. I'm sure that Kakashi is the laid back type while Sasuke is this cold-heart character. What I mean is, in the manga, when they are shocked or have a shocking expression, they would have that character saying things in captial letters. (OH NO) We knew they were yelling or were shocked. However, in the anime, they have the same shocking expression, but they would talk as dull as ever. But as I said, it hasn't been that way in a bit since the start of the 2nd test of the chuunin exam. (missed the 1st part) Edit: Just realized everything was capitalized. But still, they leave the expression of being shocked or yelling because they leave !!
This is a continuation of a conversation r2vq and I had in another thread, but I've decided to continue over here since this is the thread it belongs in. Anyway, I can't stand Naruto's English phrase "Believe It!" Though, due to a point made by r2vq, it is probably the most reasonable translation of his original japanese tag of "Dattebayo", however, I still find it rather annoying. The only problem is, it's either that or removing it completely, which is not a good choice either, (point also made by r2vq) because it would cause an uproar about Naruto's loss of a tag line. How does everyone else feel about this?
Let's see. I do have a problem with "Believe It", but I've never seen the original version because I don't have that type of time to download it. However, I do read the manga. Anyways, as I said, I do have a problem with it, but normally I either put up with it or turn to another channel. (No, I'm not that much of a fan of the series) My main issues with the dub though is that there is no emotion. (Well, they seem to be getting a bit better now) Back when it first started, I found myself nearly halfway asleep everytime I heard Kakashi and Sasuke talk. (I am repeating myself) They sounded too dull near the beginning of the series.

I listen to it every now and then. I won't say that I don't like rap. It's more like it's getting old to me. Granted some of it sounds okay and all, I just wish they would rap about something new. Crunk - I think this is the heavy metal or rock n roll of hip hop. It's all good though. Need to act a little wild in life lol. But for real though. The way people bob their heads up and down in metal / rock is kind of the same how people dance wild in crunk. Do I listen to it though..... not on a regular basis. Hyphie - You threw a new type at me. Never heard it before. DJ - Don't really care much for it. Freestyle - It depends. Eminem, LL Cool J and Fabolous for now are the only freestylers I'll listen to for the moment. Other than that..... nope. Underground - I've heard my share.... it's similar to mainstream to me though. It's growing tiresome. Battling - Depends on whose battling. Isn't krump the same as crunk? Like I said, I've grown very tired of most hip hop.... Actually, I'll take that back. I'm tired of most genres (outside of rock, metal, country because I don't listen to those) because they're grown tiresome. But when I am listening to rap / hip hop you'll usually catch me listening to Eminem, 2-pac, Bone thugz n Harmony (I like fast rappers), Twista. Outkast, Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J, DMX, Run DMC. You can see, I listen to mainly early-mid-late 90's. If they're considered as rappers (Daddy Yankee) then I listen to alot of latin / spanish rap. Granted I don't understand what's being said and I plan to keep it that way simply because I don't want to hear anymore songs about money, cars, girls. Speaking of latin rap / songs... If possible, can someone recommend some latin singers / rappers?

Bah, I didn't want to post until 232 came out, but I'm bored and haven't had much to talk about here lately. (no offense people) In chapter 231, it was pretty interesting to see
Ichigo in his mask
, but it was also a teaser because they only showed him do 1 little thing. (probably because I'm not interested in the other fights at the moment.)
It sort of seem like with all the arrancar's that are on Earth now, and with Ulquiorra MIA. It seem like he (Ulquiorra) is after Inoue. (I'm just going by when Aizen seemed interested in her.)
Oh.... wow..... You're going to bring tears to my eyes with good stuff like that, and I'm not the type to cry ^^ I'll be waiting for the avy. Thanks again.

Wow, last time I posted in this thread was when Sai first came into the picture, and I think this thread and the Naruto thread in the anime section were still combined as one. I also grew tired of Naruto's rashness at that time as well. In any case, in the Naruto anime thread, a recent discussion came about with the sharingan vs byakugan. And people were talking about the weakness of the sharingan or rather that condition to obtain the mangekyou (is that the name?) sharingan. I have a question about that. If that condition is to
kill your closest friend
, then why does
Kakashi
have that ability? Who did he kill to obtain it? As far as I know, those closest to him are already dead. I am currently thinking that maybe that condition is either a fluke, or it only applies to the Uchiha clan. And if that's the case, I never recalled
Sasuke killing Naruto
, so why do he have it?
Has anyone but me noticed the simlarities between all this new rap garbage and hair metal? I mean basically the same thing is hapening here as in the 80's. People are coming out of the woodwork and their main goal is to get a vidieo on mtv. Then thy have "made it". But really their music is garbage and has no meaning whatsoever. There are a few less know guys who are real good(like metallica was). All thats really left is that there has to be an end to it. Just like Nirvana killed hair metal. Does anyone agree with me or si this some dumb conspiracy?
I don't listen to metal, so I fail to see the comparison, but I do have a general idea of what you're talking about. Honestly though, what you're saying is a little old. (Most forums talk about it all the time, and it leads to arguments.... Perhaps that's why I figure it's a little old.) I think ever since the year 2000 came in, rap took a detour, or rather everything they were / are rapping about is the same thing that's been said long ago.... They're just adding they're own style.... (IMO, some are trying to copy others style, but whatever) And I've grown tired of it. Anyways, as Amelia stated, it's going to sell because people like it. If you don't like it, there's no reason you should sit there trying to force yourself to listen to it, right?

I can't find the site I normally get my pictures from of this guy, but I would like some sort of ninja type (or japanese type) theme for this one. Not entirely sure about the font style for this one. But for the text, I want it to say Ultimate Warrior of Myth. I'll let you decide on the color of the background. I trust ya. ^^ Link for banner Link for avatar If you feel you can use the link for the avatar as a banner, feel free to do so, because I thought it might be too hard outline over or whatever. Thanks in advance

In terms of looks, "shrugs" I don't know. Never did any type of comparison. As far as personality. *Copy and paste from similar thread (Wow, they're just like me)
Hmm..... How should I start this.... Ok, I was chatting with a friend over AIM and whatnot and he said I put him in the mind of Mugen. I had to think about it for a bit and I was like...... damn.... he's right. I didn't think I was giving much about myself away. I guess what really showed that was I use to blow up over every little thing that was said to me. As for who I think I'm like. I would think I went through a metamorphasis within the past 5 years. (Well 6 if you want to start counting this year) Around that time (2000) I would say I was more of a silent type. Didn't care much for the spotlight. Never talked down on people. Calm and Laid back. Much like Kurama. Year after that, (01) I became more of the silent mysterious type. Didn't reveal anything about myself even when it came to meeting new classmates. Instead of being shunned from people. I tried to keep myself away from them. Had a few friends and I got alone with everyone so to speak, I just would never talk. If someone would step up in my face I'd talk down to them with the quickness. Of course I mean was like Hiei at this time. 2 years later (03.... skipped 02 because I was pretty much the same) This year is probably where Mugen kicked in the most. I didn't take too much from anyone. On or off the internet. If something negative was said to me. I'd lash out without warning. I was more blunter than ever. Said whatever that was on my mind. At the same time I kepted a cool head with it. 04..... (the crappiest year of all time) I became more hot headed and sarcastic together. (although I was sarcastic since 9 years old) I was colder than ever. Only thing I really cared for this year were animals. I tried to keep to myself but every time I tried. I was being bothered. I say was a mixture of Mugen and Yusuke Beginning of 05 I was almost the same as 04. I even snapped at one point. (but I won't get so far into that) Later on I was a little more level headed. I was still a hothead. Still sarcastic, still a little cold and a little more caring . At this point I'd say I was no longer similar to Mugen. I'd say I was a cross between Yusuke and Ichigo (Bleach) Now I'd still say I'm a cross between those two. Just add on alot more sarcasm and I'm still as hot headed as ever. And there you have it. Sorry if I bored you.
If I had to say right now.... I'd have to say my personality is all Yusuke.
Ya ya, I know some things that are ugly can be good, but still, I don't want gray eyes all the time, I still choose Sharingan. And they're basicly the same thing, eyes that can stop jitsus, find a way to beat the other person, see through illusions...ya. So if both of them are so much alike, why not choose the one that looks better?
Bah..... someone said it earlier, neither the sharingan or the byakugan can stop jutsu's. Now if you're saying that they can see through jutsu's. Ok, I'll by that. Now I don't have that much knowledge about Naruto, but if your eyes are sharp, wouldn't you be able to see through most things? You make it sound like people with just normal eyes can't be good enough to beat their opponent without the sharingan / byakugan. I never did give my choice. It's kind of a tough call since there's not much of a situation to judge. It would be a little different if the matchup was Neji vs Sasuke because as I said in my previous post, (also what Ezekiel said) it would depend on the user. But oh well, in this situation, I'd give the edge to the Sharingan. Sure you have a better chance in tracking your enemy with the byakugan. Sure you can see the opening points. But all that doesn't really mean much if you have nothing else to back you up. (A reason why I said it depends on the user.) Whereas the sharingan, you have things at your disposal to get you through. Granted I like both, sharingan is a little better IMO. There was something else I had to say, but I lost my train of thought.

I'm not too good with suggesting things, but seeing as you've seen Ghost in the Shell 1 and 2, you might as well follow up with the series as well. I can't explain it without giving away some things. But it is action in there, but I think what makes it interesting is the dialogue. I'm not the type that like politics and whatnot, but from their stand point, they made japanese politics interesting. That's the only thing I can recommend. Other than that, you may want to check out what's being shown on Adult Swim (the animes.....)
Also, who did yall think was the strongest Org. XII members? I was surprised that the first two (The Sitar one, and Xaldin, the Six Lance dude) were stronger than the two you fought before the last one.
I didn't find any of them that hard but there were some times that I've almost died against.... only one member of the Irg. XIII members and that was that guy with the six lances. Other than that, my only fight I found myself struggling with is the fight with Xenmas simply because my fingers are worn out after a certain attack. >_> The only fight I died on (like 7 times) was the fight against Sephiroth. That Heartless Angel or whatever it's called should be banned or something. >_< (I know, takes away the fun.... that's just my inner child talking.... I don't mind hard fights... Just wanted to throw the controller a couple of times though.)
Not that the Byakugan is perfect, it can be beat. It just is better since as a shinobi you are meant to have stealth, not fancy jutsus. The Byakugan breaks down stealth and it can basically do what the Sharingan can, block jutsus. And in looks I like the Sharingan better too. But in an assasination a prettier eye is not nearly as good as an eye that can detect shinobi. I truly think the Byakugan is better like you said and I will think that until someone can convince me.
I won't convince you. (Hell, I'm not the convincing type) But this does ties in with what Ezekiel said. (someone else might have said it before, but I came to his response first) It depends on the user. The Byakugan probably is better between the two or vice versa, but if you're a crappy fighter, then it will get you no where.
