Finally..... I've been waiting for someone to revive this thing. But when it's finally revived, I lose track of what I wanted to say >_> For me, it's kinda hard to guess what's going to happen seeing that they have 4 months to train. I don't know if that's a good idea to show 4 months worth of training. I think that would actually take a turn for the worse seeing that I can get very bored just watching them train. I think it would also take away the surprise factor. (that's if they actually go show the entire 4 months) "shrugs" I'm weird.... That's all I can say until I can gather my thoughts about what I wanted to say about the last 3 chapters.

I've heard very little about this but I wanted to check it out because it's done by the creators of GitS (or so I've heard) and I'm into the vampire themed animes. I've caught very little of its OVA counterpart mainly because it came on too early / late and my eyes were always heavy. Anyways, is it anything like the movie? That Kai fellow resembles Cunningham on IGPX.
I avoid girls because they all have cooties.
LOL..... This have made my day. I haven't heard nor seen the word cooties in a long time. In any case. My opinion about the opposite sex. Meh, it's no different than my opinion about the same sex. I'm the type that is about equality so... "shrugs" However I do have more respect for women than men these days simply because of the past few months, from what I've been witnessing (news, environment, internet) lately, the egos. Bah, the ego's are crazy coming from guys. I can with a women that's stuck up better than a male that's full of himself. As far as attraction between me and women..... "shrugs" I haven't been looking because I'm pretty much just trying to get a few months of privacy. (I rarely get any at all so....) But whenever I do look for a girl and whatnot, I want the total package. (brains and looks... although, most of those are your stuck up females) Well, that's what I want, (what guy doesn't) but in all honesty, I'll settle for an average women with a brain. I had more I wanted to say, but I can't think right now.

^ I am well aware of Scar's intention about that incident. With that being said, I still don't have to like it. ^^ Speaking of all that and such. Just to clear things up for anyone else who feel the need to explain things to me. (Please don't take that as me being stubborn or anything.) I understand the concept of Fullmetal Alchemist very well, let alone most of the characters intentions as most if not all are explained in the series. But when I say I don't like seeing animals being killed, slaughtered and whatnot. I mean it, literally. I like animals over people in general. (Sad, but true)

What do you do when the power goes out?
Magus replied to CyberPandaLove's topic in General Discussion
This happened Thursday for about a good 3 - 7 hours because of a storm. (Tornado watch to go with it... So I'm pissed and frightened at the same time.) I can't really say that I do much because I'd be lying if I did. Only thing I really do when my power goes out is either joke around with my family or sit there, BORED AS HELL! I'm pretty sure y'all remember that blackout that happened in so many states. That was during the summer so when we were outside we usually played flashlight tag (at night) or something crazy. The thing I hate about blackouts in the summer is that I can't sleep worth a lick because it's so hot, and I'd be so sweaty. -
And that's where it's flawed at.... To me anyway. It seems to be focusing too much on comic relief and character development. While I don't mind the character development, I don't care much for the comedy. The level of it (comedy) this has to offer ranges from either sub par or down right corny. (I said it in a few threads before that I don't really have much of a sense of humor so.... "shrugs") That last episode that was shown Saturday was interesting simply because of it's character development. Other than that..... I still have no idea what the plot is or where this is heading to. (Sorry if I'm coming off as only seeing the negatives of this show, but that's all I can be if I find nothing appealing... right?) I'll give it 2 more episodes.

So last Saturday kicked off with the 2nd season, and I must say it was a good start as well. It's just a nitpick, but I wish they would've started from the beginning simply because I missed the last episode. (Takashi vs Cunningham) I wanted to see it so bad, but unfortunately that was the time Detroit was under a winter storm warning taking my satelitte out. But as I said, last Saturday kicked it off very big. Team Satomi started off as the underdogs, and are being seen as champions, or in most eyes, 1 shot winners or something like that.
You can see there's alot of miscommunication going on with the team, and I think most of it is coming from Takashi being over confident.
One thing that still gets to me that they did in the 1st season is, when you know something big is about to go down, or they're about to make a comeback or whatever, and you're at the edge of your seat. They do that damn To Be Continued garbage. (The only other anime that's ever had me at the edge of my seat was Ghost in the Shell: SAC) And everytime they do that I'm ready to launch something at the tv. (To me, that's good stuff if it makes me react like that)
Rurouni Kenshin overrated!? *falls over and dies* Seriously thoguh did you watch all of the Kyoto arch. That was the highlight of the series.
Lol. Perhaps that's just fanboyism / girlism. (no offense) I like RK just as much as the next person because I'm a sucker for samurai animes, but there is that brink of overhyped-ness there. It probably didn't meet her expectations. (Like how I was expecting so much out of Naruto, and see it as being overrated) And lets not forget that reply is like 2 years old. (Maybe her views have changed by now.) From what I've seen of SDK (only the 1st volume, and I'm not so sure if that was the 1st volume), I do agree that it's nothing like RK, but then again I can't really say seeing that I've only seen 4 episodes. Back to what I was saying about not being sure if I've seen the 1st volume and whatnot. How does this series start off? Because I rented what was "supposed" to be the 1st volume, but I'm inclined to believe that it was probably the 2nd or 3rd volume. (or a misprint because it had Demon Eyes Kyo on it, and it stated that it was volume 1) The episode started off with
Kyo (yea, not Kyoshiro) and 2 other characters, maybe 3. (guy with a bandana and a girl) And I can't remember if that guy who looks like a girl was with them or not. But they met this ninja for the 1st time and such.
Another episode on there was dealing with a tournament. Anyways, from that volume I've seen, I didn't really like it. Sure it had nice animation to a certain degree. Where they went and got sloppy at was when they would do something like freeze frame or whatever it's called during most of the fights. (As I've said before, I'm a sucker for samurai, action and whatnot but you can't cut fights like that and expect me to not dislike it.) Didn't really get the story especially since I think I was jipped $5. (I could've held onto that for something else)

Well that was quite an experience. I just beat the game, and to be honest, I don't really have much of a problem with the game. Hell, I like this one better than the 1st, but that's just me. And I'm not that much of a fan of the series, so "shrugs" You can also call me a cinematic freak. The little fighting sequence between
Cloud and Sephiroth took the cake.
The reaction commands were pretty nice, but they could've made it a little more challenging like the QTE's in Shenmue. I know one thing is for sure. I am never entering that door that takes you to Xenmas again. As I am typing this right now, my 1st finger and middle finger is a little shaky because of that one attack Xenmas did with the
thousand lasers and you're pressing the triangle and X buttons together rapidly.
Overall, the game was pretty good. I just didn't pay much attention to the story. (I never do in any games ^^)

Hmm... what did I do when I was bored in high school? (I don't get bored that much in college because everything is almost hands on or pretty fun in some type of way.) The only thing I could do was either sleep, draw, or just put up with the boredom. Those were the only choices really. Most of the times I either slept or put up with it though because most of the times if there is a class clown in your class, you can always count on him / her for some excitment. (sp? that word don't look right at all) When I'm bored around the house..... That's an entirely different story. Seeing that I don't really hangout much anymore. (I'm not a hermit, I just find the places my friends / family want to go rather boring. The mall... been there, done that. The movies.... old news. Go out to eat.... Done that all my life and I am tired of it.) So majority of the times, I either sleep, (possibly the best thing to do when bored) play some game, (which can grow very tiresome at some point) go on the computer, (which can also become tiresome) or go weight train, work on my car. (Trying to fix it up like those cars on Fast and the Furious and such ^^)
Anyone here like the game? The original for the Playstation was a BIG hit, and when I got the REmake for the Gamecube, wow, it was just.. an amazing remake, I must say ^_^ Who else here enoys Resident Evil Video Games? I own all for the Gamecube which include: 0-4 plus Code Veronica X and I have RE: DS for the Nintendo DS, and it rocks too lolz... Anyone a fan of RE?
Big hit indeed, but sadly for me, I'm no fan of the series. It was either the 1st or 2nd (I don't remember which one because it's been so long) that I borrowed from a friend because he said it was scary.... Unfortunately, I'm not phased by the horror genre. (If anything, I laugh at the people in the games getting killed by zombies or whatnot) What turned me off from the game and the series altogether was that gimping camera system. I hated any game that had that type of camera system thing because I found it so hard trying to get use to the controls with a camera like that. However, I am trying to get my hands on RE4 for the ps2. But I doubt I'll end up liking that one as well simply because I've never been a fan of the genre.

"Stops from almost salivating" Hmm... now that I think about it. Cloisterblack probably wouldn't look that great to great with it in the 1st place. (I think it comes out too big or something along those lines.) I don't know, I'd have to see it. But it still looks great. I'm grateful. Thanks. Don't worry about the flames. Just thought I'd try to ask for something flashy for once. ^^ Keyblade, if you're still up for it, I'd still like to see what you can do with it.
-moan- Those pic's look awesome. As far as anything goes I am really a Final Fantasy Virgin. I have never played any game in the series and yeah. I still am really hyped for this game and all. Yet still those pics do look really awesome. The only thing I am a little bit confused on is that I though that XII was suppose to be comming out sooner, yet at E3 they come out with XIII and I am all confused. Are they going to skip XII and go straight to XIII?
I'm pretty certain that FFXII is going to be released before XIII because it's (XII) coming out for the ps2. SE hasn't really released much info about XIII. Atleast to my knowledge, they haven't. But I do agree that those pictures looks great indeed. I think I posted it in the FF series thread that the guys that did the work for FFVII Advent Children were behind this one as well. Edit: Bah, Dagger got to it 1st. Curse me for my slowness. >_>

Yea, just a banner this time. Depending on how it turns out I may be able to handle the avatar myself. That is if my mouse operates correctly without giving me some type of a struggle. Anyways, as I said, I wanted a banner of Alucard. Here's the picture I want. LINK Just the upper body of course. I'm not entirely sure how I want the background so I'll just leave that up to whoever decides to make it. I do want the text to say Untamed Warrior of Legend in flames. (If it's possible. If it's not then I'll just take it in cloisterblack in red)

Judging from that screen shot with the 6 on 1, I want to say it looks like it's going to be on a similar base to Kingdom Hearts. Just a bit more commands or something.
My bad at least it will be more entertaining then the 360 controller. Poor guy is being left out of all the fun that the Nintendo Wii and the PS3 cotroller can do. :stfu: (no reason why I added that smilie other then the fact that I just noticed a new viriaty. Heh man I was gone away for a long time)
Honestly, I never thought the controller had to be entertaining to enjoy a game. Maybe that's just me though. I'm a boring guy, so I don't care much about innovation. Maybe I'd take a change on the gameplay itself, but the whole tilting and such... It's really not needed IMO. (Like I said, it's just me, and I'm a boring person) In any case. I do agree with everyone about the price for the ps3. Hell, I'm still buggy about it, but I still like most of their line-ups though. Of course it's not convincing enough for me to cough up $600 for the console. I'm still not understanding the other version of it though. (I don't know all that computer tech talk and whatnot.) With all this stuff missing from the $500 version, will this stop me from being able to play and save my games? If not then I might consider in getting it because I don't play games online, I have a DVD player.... And then I'm wondering about the prices of the games themselves. With a console costing too much, what will the price range be for the games? $60 - $80?

Back when I was younger, my only goal was to become an actor, but that's changed alot since then. (Besides, I don't really care about the spotlight) I haven't even thought about goals since turning 18. (which was 4 years ago ^^) In any case, if I were to set a goal... It would probably be.... To be peaceful / at ease for an entire year. There are too many things that just pisses me off these days, and I'd just like to not lose it for 1 full year. And that would be all I guess.

Hmm... Come to think of it, I've never seen any animes with fillers. Sure I've seen Rurouni Kenshin but I haven't seen an episode past the last episode of Shishio's arc, and I've given up on Inuyasha a long ways before they could get to any fillers. (That is if they have any?) I do have a question about fillers though. Seeing that they are just stories made by someone other than the creator or whatnot, will those filler episodes be shown in America? (I.e. Naruto and / or Bleach)

Hmm... I mainly just watch anime on Saturdays (for adult swim) and every night while I'm going to sleep. (Seeing that they don't put nothing good on television at night anymore.) So, I guess you can say I'm partially addicted, but then again, I know when to hold back and such. Other than that, I'm mainly doing other things ranging from fixing up my car to playing some game. Your challenge wouldn't do much for me, but sadly there is just nothing much to do around my house but to be bored.
Microsoft were great, with a strong showing for Xbox 360. There are some absolutely amazing games coming out for that system, including titles like Bioshock and Mass Effect. So I was very happy with what they've been showing. Getting GTA IV is also a feather in the cap for 'em.
Honestly, day 1 of E3, I was a bit disappointed in all the line ups. (For Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo) Day 2 was still the same, but my opinion was altered a bit for Microsoft and Nintendo. Day 3, Sony has impressed me when they showed MGS4 and FFXIII. But now that E3 has officially ended, I can say I agree with you about Microsoft's showcasing was pretty nice. Again, E3 has officially ended. It had a rocky start (for all 3 consoles) but in the end it worked out pretty nicely. One thing I noticed is that a couple of games weren't shown at all. Killzone 3 and Devil May Cry 4. I was really looking forward to seeing these titles. 1 game I really thought looked good (other than MGS4) was Assassin's Creed. (that is it's name right?) No gameplay but visually speaking, it looks great. I probably will end up getting all 3 consoles, just 3 - 4 years apart from each other. I'm cheap.... so I'll be waiting for price drops. ^^ Edit: Heavenly Sword still looks good for a hack n slash.
And, how about the Super Smash Bros. announcement? From what I read a couple hours ago Snake and Cloud are going to be playable characters.[/b'] It looked like Nintendogs was represented as well. Neat stuff. Also, if these images are real-time (which they seem to be), then they say a lot about the Wii's potential power.
And here I had plans on not getting a Nintendo Wii...... but that comment in bold.... that's enough to tempt the hell out of me. I'm currently watching the E3 repeat for day 2 because I ended up going to sleep when it was on earlier. (Sad isn't it..... games are putting people to sleep these days ^^) Question. What's the deal with Okami? Wasn't that supposed to be released sometime this month?

There's not much I can really do this summer other than kick back for another year. (Frankly, I've been kicking back a little too long) Sure I've been working and going to college and all, but when done with that I usually just come home, come on the computer, play some type of game, watch some type of anime, watch a movie or just go to sleep. I would try to go to an anime convention but sadly I don't know any that're in Detroit. And besides, the gas prices are crazy at the moment. I may do a little looking into schools for construction this time around. Time for me to learn something new. I hear the money is good in that. I may even decide to get a new job. As far as hanging out and such.... I won't do the theatre's anymore..... (got into a fight the last time I went, and their prices are too high as well.) I may go bowling or something. Hell, I may even just decide to get in my car and just drive around in Downtown Detroit. In short, I'm not sure what I'll be doing this summer.

I didn't say they were the same. Let me rephrase what I'm saying. Since when can a misunderstood character not be a badass? You make it sound like someone that's misunderstanding can only be misunderstanding and carry no other uhh.... personality... (I think that's the word I'm looking for.) I hope you see where I'm getting at. So he pisses you off.... Big deal. That's the flaw of these favorite threads anyway. You're gonna run into them no matter what forum you go to. Fanboys and girls are gonna flop to these type of threads and say something along the lines of "insert character" is hot or "insert character" roxors, or such a such PWNS you / all, or state their undying love for a character. It's all old news, but you learn to put up with them.
-
What makes a misunderstood character not be a badass character? Why question someones judgment about who's a badass and who's not? It's all opinionated anyway. Some people may have a different meaning of "badass" I would consider Envy to be a badass as well, but he's not my favorite though. On-topic Alucard - The epitome of the word badass IMO. Honestly, he has one of those roles where you can question which side is he really on. Can't really say he does everything in style. It's more like he does everything always grinning. It's kind of hard to explain.... but "shrugs" you know what I mean.

With the 1st day of E3 wrapping up on G4, I have to say that I'm a little disappointed. I didn't really care much for alot of what was shown. 1st impressions about Metroid, Mario, and Red Steel..... meh.... Let's just say, if I were to judge it right now... I'd pass on getting Wii. As I've said in many threads, I am picky about my games. Sony and Microsoft's showcasing didn't do much for me either. As far as games goes.... Only 3 games manage to catch my eye. MGS4 - All I can say is damn.....
Raiden as the new ninja... Snake suicide. (or so that's how the trailer ended)
Wow.... Halo 3 - They didn't show much, but it was enough to grasp my attention Heavenly Sword - This kind puts me in the mind of God of War, but with a female leading character that is more acrobatic and less gore. What were your thoughts? What impressed you? What disappointed you? etc etc... Edit: Oh yeah, outside of what was shown today, is there anything else that you're looking forward to seeing?
