Bah..... As Ikillion said. The name of the topic is "old anime you miss" We're just going along with the topic. Why try to spoil the thread with this "go buy it" attitude? (Even though it's common sense) Jobs aren't so easily to come by these days... don't forget that.
Your right they never aired the 3rd season of RK. People stop complaing about Outlaw Star. Whole collection $40 uncut. Just buy it. Youd be surprised about how much CN cut out.
Couldn't this be said about all anime? If you're going to target those who're complaining about missing Outlaw Star, then you might as well target everyone else as well. Most if not all can be found in a store. With that being said, and I've already said it that I WON'T be buying any animes for a long time. I have too many blank tapes around the house. Even though $40 is cheap for a box set, I just won't put out the money. I have other needs....
I don't know why people rag on rap/hip-hop artists so much. Most arguments I've heard is that all they do is sing about girls, sex, or drugs, but seriously. What do you think other singers do in their free time? Get over it. As for Eminem, I like him. I also hate how people put down rapping because it supposedly requires no talent. Try to rap something serious off the top of your head and make it sound good. You probably can't. To be at the top of your game in any music scene, you have to have talent, and lots of it.
I agree with you when you say most of the arguments that you've heard. It's like the only reasons they can come up with. But honestly, I'm starting to agree with those people. And I use to listen to rap faithfully. When you hear rappers rap about money, sex, cars.... or rather fortune and fame over and over, it tends to become very tiresome. Of course this can be said about other music genre's as well. Which is probably why I listen to latin and a little bit of reggae... (Mainly just Sean Paul) because I don't understand a word that's being said. (I should sig that ^^ ) But about Eminem, talented. Probably the only rapper I'll listen to nowdays. (Cousin has my 2pac cd's.) I like how he talk's about his life or whatnot.

Errr.... I can only think of 1 at the moment, and that's Yu Yu Hakusho. I know, they just took it off last month or something like that. But that was too late of a time slot for it, and I still haven't seen majority of the dark tournament. Besides, I'm not up for buying any animes for the moment, which is probably why I have a short list. (some loyalty to anime eh) Another one would be Outlaw Star, mainly because I haven't seen it. I guess the same can be said about Gundam Wing, but I don't care much for mecha. Only mecha anime I really liked was Big O (hopefully, they'd put that back on one day.) I have tons of blank tapes here so no buying dvd's for me for a bit.
i felt sorry for chad when ichigo had casted him aside because he is not powerful enough to fight with him by the way i hope chad doesnt get the full body armour as i personal think he looks better with just the arm. i also agree with Raiyuu in saying that chad must higher his speed by the way has renji has his bankai been completed to its highest level (you know when he was fighting kuchiki byakuya it wasnt completely finished or was it just weaker the his?)
You know it's pretty hard to read run on sentences.... In any case, I want to say that Byakuya is the only one who can do that. Mainly because you didn't see anyone else use a
2nd level Ban-Kai
other than Byakuya. If they could, they would've have done so already. Especially with the fight between
Hitsugaya and that arrancar...
forgot his name.

I visit the forums everyday, but not hourly. It's more like: Sign online, open internet explorer, check anime news network, check otakuboards, move on. So I'd probably say it's more like a 10 minute thing, that is if I may post something. Other than that, I just keep coming back at random times of the day.
I believe it starts airing on Adult Swim sometime this year. I'm interested to see where KT takes Bleach next. He's given us his long-range plans, i.e. that
Aizen will attack in about four months and everyone should train up
. But the Soul Society arc covered two or three months, story time, and took years to conclude in real world time. So these four months of training can't only contain training, surely? After all,
Ichigo's already powered up, and Chad and Renji are getting there
. So something has to go pear-shaped in order to keep the story interesting. I'm anticipating
an Ichigo-Grimmjow rematch, for one thing. Grimmjow pwned Ichigo before, but Ichigo wasn't exactly firing on all cylinders - he was essentially trying to fight Grimmjow without letting Wichigo out. So I suspect when they fight again, Grimmjow will underestimate him spectacularly - and I'm especially looking forward to his expression when Ichigo's mask comes out
.
Yuppers, starts this fall. Can't say that I'm not stoked about it, but I also feel it's going to be a little rushed.... "shrugs" I can't really say anything about where the story will go from here within the 4 months of training. (I've never been good with predicting things) Seeing that there will be no chapter to be released this week. (source from Bleachexile) There is a new volume though with
Uliquiorra (sp?)
on the cover... so maybe they'll reveal something dealing with him.. "shrugs" As far as the
Ichigo and Grimmjow rematch
, I don't know. He does seem like the type to underestimate people. Maybe he'll give a bigger reaction than
Byakuya
^^

"Since My Baby Left Me" sorry, couldn't resist.... Tupelo Mississippi Uhh... I'll start off with an easy one. tals aogrnd hint - movie

Speaking of
Chad's training
. I hope they reveal alot more. Because of what
Urahara
was thinking to himself has me intrigued.
Chad being able to use the power of Ban-Kai....
This is just saying he can use the power instead of going through the
transformation of a ban-kai
right? Urahara's an interesting fellow.....

So chapter 224's been out for a bit. I didn't really care much for this chapter.... I guess it's because it's slow or something. And
Hinamori
probably spoiled it for me. Not saying she's a bad character or anything. I just hate it when people get indenial about other people and can't face the facts. At the end of the chapter. When
Orihime
showed up, is that a skinny person standing next to her?
Ishida?
If this question was asked around May (2004) - Feb (2005), I would definitely say anger. I haven't been as angry as much as back then, but when I'm pissed you'd know it. I think this almost happens to anyone though. When you get so mad, you could feel the steam coming off of your neck, head, back, etc etc. At one time I almost blacked out from anger. (I normally warn people to not piss me off... on forums and real life. Because I could literally become untamable.) I would post what happened within those months, but it would probably bore all of you and it's pretty long. (and I don't particularly care much about my past... but if y'all to know just ask and ye shall receive) Now I'd say I'm pretty mellow. I have that type of attitude where I'd pretty much just say "I don't care as long as it's not involving me" (in some cases or rather depending on the situation, invovling my family. My family can pretty much handle themselves so.... ) I'd also say a strong point would be my sarcasm, but like Stark said, I'm not sure it's an emotion. I'm still a hot head, but not as much as I was back then.

Last time I was here, I said I was looking forward to the ps3. Well truth be told, I'm just going to stick with what I have now for the time being. (Ps2 and Xbox) I'm hearing prices will range around $500 - $700 for the ps3, and I'm as cheap as they come. Hell, I won't even pay $300 for the Xbox 360. (I didn't pay $200 for my XB or ps2) Then again, I'll probably end up going for the 360 1st. I'm hearing that it doesn't have any good games.... As far as I can tell, they look pretty decent to me. But then again, I probably don't have good taste in games. I have been growing tired of them as of late. "shrugs" we'll see what happens a little later on down the line.

LOL. And here I thought I wasn't curious, but I found myself highlighting it to see if anything important was being said. Thank you for the set thought.

I know I said I don't care about the series, but that doesn't stop me from liking one of the characters. Theme: have fun (but it has to fit Orochimaru) Background: uhh... have fun again Text: Diablo Font: Cloisterblack Picture: HERE Please tell me you have a better picture. Edit: Oh yea, can I get a matching avatar

What can I say about the 2nd episode....? Other than the animation was prettiful. I will stick with it for a little while longer because I was into it. My only gripe about it so far is Renton. As much as I like Vash, I can't stand his voice on this kid. (I'm pretty annoyed by Renton already with this helpless attitude.... Putting me in the mind of Shinji) It's very rare that you'd see me ever liking a kid as the star.... Especially whiny kids.

This could possibly take over my #4 spot (Yu Yu Hakusho) of favorite animes. I don't have much of a problem with the dub thus far, but in the episode that just past, the voices didn't sync with the character.... I hope I'm saying that right. In any case....
Is Kambei gay?
Not that I have problem with it, it's just the little exchange of words between him and Kuzo (sp?) can be misleading. Anyways, the fighting was nice.

I don't remember it very well because I was very young. I think around the age of 4 or 5. I just hear my mom talk about it all the time. I have an older brother who is a gymnist(sp?) and whatnot. Back then he use to flip off of walls, bricks, crates or whatever. One I saw him (or so my mom said) flip off of a bucket, and I wanted to try it. So I got on and then I came down on my right leg. (bucket wasn't stable) Turned out that my leg was fractured and was told to stay off of it. But me and my stubborn self decided to chase a squirrel afterwards..... (stupid) Another bad experience.... (I'm still pissed about it as we speak) Back in the 12th grade. I was on my high school football team. (I wasn't a star play or anything of a sort... just doing my part as right tackle) After 2nd down, meh, right after the play. I'm assuming these folks were trying to start a fight or something because I got clipped hard. One guy came from the right and the other came from the left. The guy on the left came at my upper body while the guy on the right came at my lower body. What happened was my right knee popped / snapped... Let's just say that was about 4 years ago. Haven't been able to play since then. I probably could play now, I just choose not to. "shrugs"

Jealousy.... hmm.... Nah. It's not in my nature to be jealous of any of my friends. However, I do regret not going after this girl when I had the chance and a friend of mine proposed to her (but it's all good though, we're all childhood friends), and seeing that I was laying low for quite a while that was all on me... so "shrugs" Other than that.... no jealousy coming from me.
-
Whoops..... forgot there were two of them. Yes, I am talking about Overdose. (I like it because it was basically a game I could blow off some steam over.) I haven't played the original. Knowing me though, I'd probably like the original as well. I'm assuming it's just pointless shooting like OD?
-
Ok I was a little ruf on them and sure the anime games can suck but still I think they should only stick to games nothing else.
You do realize that's all they review right? If you're talking about all the "so called" acting and whatnot. It's just for show. A mockery of most movies, animes, sports or whatnot.

I saw the previews of it on X-play, I think on Wednesday. While the graphics didn't really blow me away, but then again, I wasn't really expecting it to do that anyway. What I thought that was really impressive was the gameplay. Especially when I saw little snippets of Mugen's fighting. It looked very crazy, but yet so smooth as well. So yeah, I will be going after this game. It got a 7.2 from Gamestop and 7.6 from IGN. (It might be the other way around) And a 7 is certainly not bad.
I am a defender of these two, seeing as how X-Play and AOTS are two of my favorite shows. Now for a moment, I want you guys to imagine that games like... Dragon Ball Z Budokai exists in the same world as games like Soul Calibur 3. Now, are you going to tell me that Budokai is better than Soul Calibur 3? No. Games such as Tekken and Soul Calibur tend to set new standards which should be looked into. Now look at every other game review magazine or website, and let me know when you find one that rated Budokai higher than Tekken or Soul Calibur. Lets believe that a game like Fullmetal Alchemist: Curse of the Crimson Elixer exists in the same world as a game such as Kingdom Hearts. Ghost in the Shell in the same world as Metal Gear Solid 3. Gungrave in the same universe as Resident Evil 4. Shaman King in the area of Final Fantasy Tactics. X-Play and every other game reviewer for that matter have high standards for games because they have played the best, and they're not going to go easy on a game simply because it has an anime license. You get what I'm saying? I mean, yeah, I like Budokai, but its no where near Tekken 5. I loved Fullmetal Alchemist, but it doesn't hold a candle to Kingdom Hearts 2. So, I don't think its a good ethics to get angry at a game reviewer for putting down a bad game, regardless of the title or characters in the game. Blame the developers for making a mediocore/bad game.
I agree with everything that's been said here. And like every other person that gives reviews, they are only giving their opinons. I also agree with the host of X-play because most if not all anime based games do suck. Although I thought Gungrave was rather decent for it's short length. (It calmed me down) Maybe they do go a little far when bashing it, but "shrugs" that's like the way life is. You're not going to find many places where there isn't any bashing of other people's favorites going on.
-
Alright... thought you might want to get an opinion from someone that doesn't really care for it that much. With that said, I'd still recommend for you to see it (maybe 3-4 episodes) because I think it's something that you'd need to see to judge for yourself instead of going by word of mouth. For me, when I was back at this other forum.... I think Anime Chains or Anime Forums...... There was nothing but hype about it. (I think it was overhyped though) So I decided to read the manga for a bit. I admit, it had me hooked for a while. But when I saw the anime on tv. Which I don't really have too much against, I just became tired of the series as a whole. Perhaps it was too draggy, or Naruto himself. I just know I was tired of it altogether. With that being said. There are some interesting things about it, but sadly, it didn't keep my interest. Edit: Whoops, my bad.... this was all about Naruto... sorry. Haven't seen Gundam Seed.

Ah, the good ol disney movies.... I have to admit that I rarely remember them because it's been that long, and I also know that I would only watch a few of them nowdays. But my favorites were Pirates of the Carribbean and Lion King. Pirates of the Carribbean ~ Where's the rum or why's the rum gone? I swear, I wouldn't know or remember too much about Johnny Depp if it wasn't for this movie. (That and Once Upon a Time in Mexico) I was almost in tears laughing at his little comments. (They may have seem corny, but for some reason they were funny to me.) Lion King ~ Don't have much to say about it. I just liked it. And I'm not sure if Spirit was a disney movie or not, but I liked that one too.
Last Exile is free. dont buy the Dvd's . Every once in a while it comes up on anime unleashed. So just watch/record that.
Whose to say it will be back on? Anime Unleashed is not on-air for the time being, and if it were, they (G4) said that they're going to run new animes. (or atleast hoping to) And like you said, it was every once in a while.... Some people are not that patient. I haven't seen any of the shows except the 1st little 15 minutes of WHR. But I assume with the comparison Dagger used, I'd go for Last Exile as well.
