Name: Marcus or Mark Age: 21 Despriction: I'm 5"8 and weigh 207lbs. I use to weigh more than that when I was playing football. Edit: Seeing that the picture doesn't want to work. Favorite Color: red, black, blue, white, sometimes orange Location: Detroit Michigan Personality: quiet, sarcastic, hot headed, laid back Hobbies: some animes, some videogames, fixing cars, and weight training Slight History: Well, let's put it like this. I can be your best friend, but when you piss me off, I can become your worse enemy. Likes: cars, import cars.... I'm a car freak. Dislikes: poor spelling / grammar. These teenagers that talk big, but when you get the best of them, they can't handle it.
I wouldn't really worry about this being the last season. Keifer Sutherland has already signed up for a 6th season so hopefully that puts everybody's worries to rest. Anyways, I really like the direction that this season is taking, though I still can't believe how many major characters they've killed off so far. I can only pray that Audrey is the next on the list, I hate that *****.
LMAO. I actually like Audrey though. I'm hoping Chloe is the next one. (She was probably the most developed character in the series seeing how she became so stuck up.) In any case. "spoiler" question. I missed one of the earlier episodes (of the season that's going on now.) That guy, Curtis. The last episode I saw him in...
He was escorting Jack back to CTU after the mall incident I think and Jack knocked him out or something of that sort.
After that whatever happened to him?

I actually started out with MGS2 and liked it. Only thing I didn't really care about was
Raiden's whining
but then again... He pretty much needed answers. "shrugs" As far as the story goes.... Hell, I don't know. I rarely paid any attention to it because I'm so.... absent / narrow minded. (Didn't pay much attention to the 3rd one either) To show you what I mean...
I didn't know that I was playing as Big Boss until I asked why the hell was Ocelot younger than Snake
What I will say is that I'm a little scared to play the 1st MGS.... Not being able to use a gun in FPV is a killer.

Hmm.... sounds so hard yet it seems so simple. Makes me wish I took the 1st semester of my art class >_>. Thanks for the tip(s). I'm gonna attempt this on an old picture.
i dun understand why people think it's so lame.
I don't see why it's so hard to understand why people don't like anime. It's all in a matter of taste and / or preferences. Some people probably grew up not liking cartoons..... (it's possible) Other's probably grew out of it or got bored of it. Like Panda said. Everyone is not going to like anime.
[spoiler'] Actually, I think Ichigo will have to catch up on some of the basics. It seems as if he rushed through the whole natural process of training, so he doesn't know some fundamental things. Like hiding your spirit power, for one. :3 I think he'll learn the basics he's missed, and then discover some mad cool move with in Bankai.

I want to agree with that because
Ichigo still needs to learn demon arts.... that is if they'll ever have him to use it.
But I don't think going over all the basic fundamentals will be necessary. Probably because
Aizen is probably well aware of them knowing his plans by now.... And so he should know that they're preparing for war. (Atleast he should know, if not, I'd be highly disappointed)
So there would be no point in teaching Ichigo to surpress his powers at this point. Honestly, I don't think they're going to show much of Ichigo's training, but then again they showed most of his training
when Ichigo and company was preparing for Soul Society
I wonder if
Tatsuki
is going to play any type of role at this point. What else.... hmm.... oh...
I want to see Gin and Aizen's Ban-Kai
/random note.
Johnny Yong Bosch plays the lead. I like his voice acting, but that's really a bit too much of a good thing. Plus, I'd prefer to hear him in an older role.
Agreed. 1st impressions.... Hard to say. While the visuals looked good / superb, I can't say that I was all that impressed with what I saw. I know, most animes can't give you everything you want in the 1st episode, but hey.... at that moment that's what I wanted. (More action) I know one thing I can't stand about most animes (seeing that this was the 2nd anime that it occurred in tonight) is when things are about to pick up, that's the end of it. I know that's what make people come back for more, but I can't stand that.

Well, basically Ichigo and hollow!Ichigo are fighting for dominance over their physical body (Shirosaki is hollow!Ichigo). It doesn't really have anything to do with Urahara or Yoruichi.
In regards to chapters 221-223:
The fight between Ichigo and hollow!Ichigo was surprisingly short. I was sort of let down by it, but I guess things picked up when Hitsugaya and Matsumoto learned more about what Aizen was going to do. I'm guessing that's it's spring in the Bleach manga right now, so they'll be training until winter for the big fight. Hopefully Ichigo was start training with the vizards.

I would assume it's still summer. 4 months of training, and the fight starts in the winter, which is in December... count 4 months back, it's between either July or August.

If Aizen succeeds, Ichigo and company will have a crappy Christmas. I wonder if that spirit king fellow they mentioned would show himself around that time....
I think I said it in another thread. That it's been a while since I've last drawn something (3 - 4 years since I've last picked up a pencil) but I'm pretty sure I can still draw. And I'm getting back into it because I'm getting ready for a meeting on Monday (Game Design or Animation... whichever I come to 1st) Problem is, that all my life, I've never been able to shade. :animesigh My brother always told me to shade where I think the sun wouldn't shine.... I understand all that sun concept and everything, but the problem lies with the shading itself. Let's put it like this, when I shade, I go from side to side, and I have a tendeny to shade too dark. :animeangr Making it look like pure jibberish. Like I said, it's been years since I've last drawn something, and I go side to side when shading. I think that's the method everyone use or do you like draw where you're going to shade at? Edit: My avy... I would say I shade like that but it looks nowhere near as good as that.

Let's see. I watched the whole series. Just got done watching the last episode I assume. Honestly, I want to say I understand it, but in the back of my head, it's like "what the hell"
It's like the whole plot is based upon each character going through some type of depressed staged in their life, trying to figure out who or questioning their point in living....
"shrugs" that's what I gathered from it anyway. And mixed it with some spiritual talk.... so to speak.(If I'm wrong, don't mind me because I pick up on things very slowly) On a scale from 1-10 (10 being highest) I'd probably give it a low 8, but high 7. It's not exactly my brand of tea. Too much thinking has to be done. (Some people like thinking, some people hate it. I'm bordeline about it. Which is why I said too much.) I don't really care for the depressive animes... And Shinji still makes me not care for it. Overall, it's good, but nothing I'd break my neck to see over again.
Okay simple topic. Is music worth getting pissed off over because you just don't like it.
Honestly, nothing is worth fighting over nowdays IMO. Life is to short to be fighting over pettiness.... Then again, I'm just that type of person that don't care. ^^ I don't have much of a problem with people who bash music or the music I listen to. The part where they would draw the line is bashing the people that listens to that type of music. It pisses me off when someone says "since he / she listens to rap, so they must be some type of thug" (maybe nothing like that, but you see where I'm coming from.) Other than that, no, there's no point in fighting over it. (As well as movies, animes, games or whatever)

Honestly, the only non anime I look at would be Boondocks and I haven't seen that in about a month in a half. I guess you can say I'm growing tired of it. Maybe I'm losing my sense of humor because I don't find any of those shows funny whatsoever. Then again, I've never been fond of comedies anyway. (Unless it's something like Whose Line or some tv show like Friends) Even these new movies that are "suppose" to be "funny" aren't doing much for me nowdays. Family Guy and Futurama puts me in the mind of the simpsons so to speak. Which I grew out of long ago. (LONG time ago.... maybe back in the 7th - 8th grade, and I'm 21 now) In a way, I want to call it ran down comedy because I've heard most of there "jokes" either too much or back then. But I'd say my sense of humor can be the blame for this.... "shrugs" Minorteam, Oblongs, Birdman and the like. I won't even bother talking about. Edit: And after all of that I still haven't answered the question. Ok, I guess if I were forced to choose, it'd probably be Boondocks. But like I said, I'm growing tired of it.

I know I can't be the only one here that looks at this right? For those that haven't seen it and is looking for a brief summary of what goes on during the show. I'm sorry but I can't really explain it. (Not being funny or anything, it's just that I've never been good in explaining things, and if I were to attempt, I'd give away too much.) All I can really say is if you like action, suspense, drama, and I also want to say it's like an live espionage. (maybe I'm over exaggerating here.) Check it out once in a while. In any case, I'm just wondering if this is suppose to be the last season of 24. With all that's happening and such, it sure does seem like it's heading towards that direction of being the last season. Kiefier Sutherland should play more roles similar to this.

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Magus replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
btw i was watchin Rah-Xephon...but it went away did it change times or did i miss the ending???
Anime Unleashed has been taking off the air for the moment. G4 claims that they haven't cancelled it, just having "technical" difficulties. They wanted to start airing new animes before April started or something like that, but they don't have any.... "shrugs" -
This one will probably be a little harder for you guys / gals because there aren't any pictures I could find that could be "outlined" (I think that's the word I'm looking for.) In any case. Character: Grimmjow Theme: hmm.. hard to say... go for what you know Background: "shrugs" something that match the "bad boy" persona. Text: Remember My Name Picture: Grimmjow link Sadly, that's the best I can find. Please tell me you have a better picture. Edit: Oh yea, for the avie.. I'd like my name to be in it. (Cloisterblack for preferred font)

Wow.... tonights episode was really something.
I wouldn't ever expect to see the major get hacked like that.
But after seeing that, I was pretty much at the edge of my seat.
I'm also intrigued about the relationship between the major and Kuze.
Earlier I was watch the 1st season (laughing man episode), and I was wondering what ever happened to that case? It's like they just dropped it or something.
I wonder if there's a connection between the individual eleven and the laughing man... that'd be interesting.
I probably have to rewatch one of those earlier episodes of the 2nd gig. I think I remember hearing them mentioning something about it.

Anime What series are you ashamed to admit (or not) you couldn't get into?
Magus replied to [Sound_Nin]'s topic in Otaku Central
But he's 19! :animesmil
O_O..... 19!!!! with a voice like that? (tempting to crack up) Guess puberty doesn't exist in this anime. I see why so many people despise the dub. -
Anime What series are you ashamed to admit (or not) you couldn't get into?
Magus replied to [Sound_Nin]'s topic in Otaku Central
Ashamed..... not likely. (because I don't fear fanboys / fangirls >=D ) In any case. I'll start off with something different this time. S-Cry-ed (That is how it suppose to be right?) ~ I don't know why because it has everything I look for in animes. (Good animation, good action.... ok music) I think it was around maybe the 11th episode. I just lost interest in it. I watched 2 more episodes to see if I could get into it again, but sadly I was not interested. Maybe I lost interest in the story, and they screamed each others names too much... "shrugs" Witch Hunter Robin ~ I know it's wrong to try to judge anime by the 1st episode, but when an anime puts me to sleep in 10 minutes, something is very wrong. Only thing that really had my interest was the animation... Everything else was rather boring. One Piece ~ *sighs* People tell me to read the manga or look at the sub version. What they don't realize is that I have no interest in pirate cartoons / movies. (With the exception of Pirates of the Carribbean.... stupid word) Let alone some kid trying to be king of the pirates.... (can't stand kid type fantasy stories either) Comedy... meh.... Not into comedy in animes. (Except a couple) Inuyasha ~ Only good thing I can say about this anime is Sesshoumaru and the ending theme songs. Sadly, that wasn't enough to make me have any interest in this anime. The action in it was nothing spectacular. Animation didn't make my mouth drop. Most of the characters were annoying. So yea, not much had an impact on me. Edit: Left a few off. Evangelion ~ (To a certain degree) I lost interest near the end of the series (assuming tonights episode is the last one?) when
Asuka started to fail her sync test or whatever. And going through her depression
All this depression stuff pisses me off. (Guess you know if you'd ever see me irl, don't come at me feeling depressed... I'm as mean as they come) I do realize that's suppose to be apart of life and such, but there's only so much I can take. (1st Shinji and now Asuka....) Naruto ~ I'm slowly starting to get into this again but for the moment, Naruto (himself) made me lose interest. Personally, I'm not fond of any of the main characters except Kakashi, but Naruto is far more annoying. I don't find whatever comedy there is in this to be funny. And I blame Bleach for this. ^_^ -
I don't know why I like Vandread. Because I don't really care for many fun animes. Perhaps, it's because of how they had a man meeting a woman for the 1st time. "shrugs" Animation was nicely done. Well except for the 2nd episode. (1st stage) Characters looked uhh... weird. (or deformed) What can I say about the music....? It was catchy. Don't like it nor do I hate it. It's just catchy and we'lll leave it at that. If I had to say a bad thing about it, it would probably be Hibiki. He give hotheads a bad name. And besides, he's too dramatic. (I don't like that.)
Not without great difficulty. Oh wait, honestly, no. *knocks on her head* What's "futriy" supposed to be? ...Perhaps it's an acquired skill, yeah? If I read enough of this stuff then I'd probably get better at it! ALRIGHT, YOU GUYS! POST MORE MISSPELLED WORDS!
It's fruity.... --; Don't feel bad, this stuff is killing my eyes. What's "wrieagn sehngomit"? I guess I should do more research because I never seen this anywhere. But then again.... I not all that curious.

It's still unknown at the moment. I've also been wondering who could play who and frankly, I've only managed to think of 2 people. David Kaye, (I think that's name) the guy who voiced as Sesshoumaru in Inuyasha, could play the role of Byakuya. They seem very much alike. Now I haven't seen the anime yet so I wouldn't know how his original voice is suppose to be, so I'm just merely going by personality or comparison. And the one and only Steve Blum (Spike - Cowboy Bebop) could be Renji. He seems to have that bad boy persona down to the bone. The rest has been pretty tough matching up.
-
I can't say that I was too fond of the N64 because I only had about maybe 5-6 games, but there's no doubt about it that I wanted to go back and play those Zelda games as well as Goldeneye, but unfortunately I'm missing cords, controllers and whatnot. So even if I wanted to play it. I'm SoL because I don't feel like spending any money on it at the moment.
-
I just saw the 1st episode on IFC and all I can really say is wow... Animation looked really good. (almost too good) Even though there was very little action in it, I was still impressed with it nevertheless. That green-haired guy... (don't know any names just yet) looks like that lady on Samurai Champloo
in whatever ninja clan she said she was in who was also an undercover agent
or something like that.
I like YuYu Hakusho, (even though I have no idea when it's on... :animeswea) which is the whole reason I got into manga, but I won't bore you people with that story....
Yu Yu Hakusho comes on at 5:30 on Saturday mornings. Unfortunately, the last episode aired today. Who knows how long they'll continue to air it now.... I wish they do start over but from the Dark Tournament (I still haven't seen most of those episodes.) Here I am getting off-topic. My favorite show on Toonami. Hmm, when it was on IGPX. I know alot of people thought there was no story and such, but it still had what I like in animes. (animation, good voice acting, and most of all action.) When Naruto did come on tv I did look at a few episodes, but unfortunately this was also the time where I started reading Bleach. And everytime I would look at Naruto I would lose interest in it. (And I would normally download Naruto mangas everytime there was a new chapter.) Now Naruto wasn't really all that bad atleast in my eyes it wasn't. (Granted that I've never seen the sub version.... don't plan to either.) My quarrels with it was due to most of Naruto himself. (Hell, I don't like any of the main characters outside of Kakashi) I don't like him. I can't stand those that seeks attention by playing jokes all day. Another thing was the voice acting.... (I know, most have heard it more times than they care to remember) I don't really get annoyed by anyone except for Naruto himself. (Believe it is something I can't bare to keep hearing in every episode.) But that wasn't it. I mostly found the voice acting in Naruto rather dull and boring. I nearly found myself halfway asleep listening to Sasuke and Kakashi. (So I guess in some ways you can say Bleach made me stop liking Naruto.... both the anime and manga) But enough about that. I missed out on most of the shows back in the day. (The tenchi's, outlaw star etc etc) My favorite back in the day is Rurouni Kenshin. Even though most of it was editted... (I found this out when I actually decided to buy some of the tapes) But in all honesty, I could careless about animes being editted these days. (Especially on cartoon network because you know it's going to be editted if it has alot of blood so there's no point in getting flustered over it any more when you expect it to happen right?) Another was Yu Yu Hakusho. (Alot more Yu Yu fans than I thought) I didn't see any of the episodes when it use to come on weekdays. I caught it when they aired it on Saturdays. 9:30 I think it came on either right before or right after Rurouni Kenshin went off. Going back off-topic. (Way off-topic) That Funimation channel, is there any news or talk about it? All I've heard is that there's going to be a funimation channel and then that was it.
Hey Hey chill dude chill. Im not criticizing it at all.

Also Loserville is FF8 its by far the worst FF ever next to 11 and I hate that for a whoooole different reason and I dont wanna go there.
Obviously that is criticism. But in any case you said you tried to apologize and if we don't accept that's our problem. Our problem for what? Not accepting your opinion? I don't think that's the case. Everybodies opinion is respected, (atleast in my eyes) if anything it's how you're wording it. "Loserville is FF8"... You really expect someone to take that kindly? (anyone with a hothead I should say.) And as far as I can tell, no one yelled at you for liking FF9 or 10. (unless you mean at other forums or the people you talk to.) Anyways, I've been playing alot of Kingdom Hearts lately, and it's making me regret the fact that I got rid of my FF8. (I have a sudden urge to play it.....) I think that last place I left off at was in Ultimatecia's (sp?) castle. The last time I was playing thoough (which was like 2-3 years ago) I was collecting items to upgrade everybodies weapon and such. I can't think of it's name, but it's big and use Bad Breath.... I think Marlboro or something like that? I hated that thing to the fullest. Exactly how can I get around that thing once it does Bad Breath? Or is that all she wrote? Funny.... last time I posted here, I couldn't stand RPG's... I still can't to a certain extent. A little game like kingdom hearts come around and I have a sudden urge to go back to playing a FF title. Edit: My fault. I didn't even noticed that you were using "loserville" as a rating.... Mainly because I didn't even pay attention to that post. So, yea, my fault.
