Another one of these ho-hum-ish chapters. It wasn't bad but nothing great either but seeing Isshin, Urahara, and a mysterious figure was the interesting part of the chapter.
I find it stupid as hell as well that when facing supposedly more powerful versions of themselves, they're still not bothering to go in with the Shikai or Bankai released. Any vaguely competent villain squad could kill the Gotei rather quickly because of that.
Like Kon, I don't find Omaeda funny. I find him more annoying than anything. I also find it stupid but at the same time I'm used to it now, but at the same time that is what made me stop liking Ikkaku (I never liked Yumichika). Competent villain.. Hmm. I don't know. Depends on who we're talking about here.

Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) - While I just recently started Act 2 this has turned out to be my favorite in the series, as well as my favorite game period. I called myself trying to be all stealthy and whatnot just using the tranq gun when this is my first playthrough when I should've just been playing it to complete it first. Anyway, I really like the gameplay mechanics (sp?) in this one. Side-rolling definately could've been used in the early games. Shooting with the R1 button definately feels a lot better than shooting with the squre button. Overall I'm just enjoying this game period. Even though I've already watched this game be played I'm not having any issues with the cutscenes. Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3) - Even though I had this for the 360 for some reason I couldn't get into it. And even then it has nothing to do with what console I was playing this on. At the time I just wasn't feeling it. But now that I'm going into the game without trying to rely on being all stealthy-like (whether guards come after me or not) I don't care and because of that I'm enjoying it a lot more now. One thing I have decided not to do in the game however is the racing. I'm just not up for the task and rather do other things. In any case, I'm getting ready to escort Claudia and the madre out of ________ (forgot the city/town they are in). I also ordered Infamous and Darksiders which should come in the mail some time during the week. I'm second guessing myself with Darksiders though. I saw some gameplay footage and to be honest I wasn't impressed but then I figured it had a similar style of play like Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams so I should give it a try.
Gotta say I've never been interested in any of Rockstar's games (although I've taken a sudden interest in Red Dead Redemption) which is why I usually stay away from. Here with L.A. Noire, though, I find myself very curious and interested in the game. I'm actually surprised a topic hasn't been made already. Anybody else anticipating this game?

Better episode, but almost the worst episode I've seen of this arc so far and you can pretty much guess why. Why in the world is Omaeda (sp?) getting screentime? Why couldn't he be one of the ones to stay in SS? Oh yeah, I watch the english version because it's nothing else on tv. I don't really spend much money on anime. (And I hardly have the time to watch anime online anymore)

It's fair to say that Ichigo's progressing at a fast rate (like always) but I'm curious to know if Ichigo will retain the same amount of strength he once had when fighting Aizen, and then there's the hollow side of things. I'd like to think all of his powers are one in the same (if I'm not mistaken it was mentioned) but once his powers do return would he still be able to do hollowfication? As for the chapter, not great but it was a lot more informative.

Hmm. I can't say it was a bad chapter and at the same time I can't say it was good either. It felt more ho-hum(ish). The last thing I needed was a flashback of the kiddy-hood. I've had far more than enough of that time. Edit: In the midst of this war we get a love confession... While I do think it's a hoax but still, it felt like a waste. The cliffhanger was interesting though.

I didn't like Kon then either . As a matter of fact, when Kon first came into the series I didn't like him. Much like Rukia, but to a lesser degree (I just have a natural hate for him), he's been ruined by the english version. If he was less talkative I probably wouldn't hate him as much. Speaking of english versions, TBTP is coming up. Just got these 2 foolish filler episodes (which I've never seen and never will) to deal with.

I didn't care for the latest episode. In terms of content I suppose it wasn't bad, but I just hate Kon, and he was pretty much in the spotlight this whole episode. I am curious about next weeks episode though. Evil Ichigo, although we have his hollow for that.

I put Uncharted to the side for a bit. Now my attention's been focused on Yakuza 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4. Yakuza 3, while it's been entertaining for the most part it definately feels rather dated. I enjoy the combat but there are some tediousness there that's really bothering me. I don't really care for how they have you dodge in the game. I suppose I don't have a full understanding of it yet but I don't like the whole idea of you having to run around the opponent and then press a button to dodge an attack. In any case, I don't think I'm all that far into the game. I'm just now reaching a point to where Izumi (I want to call her Ibuki for some reason) wants to keep a dog (can't find a freakin pet supply store) Back to the combat though. It's certainly relieving to see these hits connect and whatnot, but I'm hoping that there are more attacks I learn or something because right now, repeating the same 5-6 attacks over and over can get tiresome over time and will cause me to lose interest.

I've only played about 10 minutes of KOTOR and I didn't like that 10 minutes, but it would be hard for me to compare Mass Effect to other games since I've never played any other game like it. I have played Jade Empire and they feel like completely different games even though they were made by the same folks, but I certainly enjoyed the heck outta ME1 though. With that said, you don't care about exclusives right (I'm assuming no since just about all the games listed are multiplatforms)? Anyway, I rather enjoy my 360 despite not having Live. However, I am playing my PS3 (I let my brother borrow my 360 for the time being) As far as games go it depends on what you're into. If you're into shooters and looking for a good single player experience then the Gears of War games should be looked at. There's a collection I think with 1, 2 and some other DLC (or something) I came across on Amazon. If you want hack n slashers there's Ninja Gaiden 2, Devil May Cry 4 and Bayonetta, although I've yet to play it even though I already own it. Fighters, the only game I own is Super Street Fighter 4 and if you decide to get it I suggest you hold out until the Arcade addition comes out. There are more characters on it as well as I'm hearing characters have been even more balanced. Then there's Halo. Like you though, I've also been considering getting Red Dead Redemption even though I'm not a fan of Rockstar games. It looks very tempting to get. Another game I've been eye-balling is Vanquish. Reviews had it classified as pure awesome even though the story is on the cheesy side (who cares about story anyway?) That's about all I can think of at the moment.

The thing I have against that death toll for the joint forces is that none of those dead are someone we know. I know this was said about Bleach and I didn't have an issue with it, especially because the captain's were just made to look so dominant. Here in Naruto we have an even playing field where some of these kiddies shouldn't even be winning against some of these folks. Then again Itachi and Nagato haven't hit the field (I really expect folks we know to actually die when they come out), but still, sorry for making this sound so heartless but, who in the world cares about 40,000 nobodies dying?

So I just got back into reading the best shonen manga (sense Rurouni Kenshin of course) and it's still have that effect on me that it's still great. It don't feel tiring at all. If anything it still feels as if it's a new experience. I've made it all the way up to chapter 59. The intro of Amagi and seeing Tenjuin kiddies getting done in by Junas. Good times, good times indeed. I need an animated version of this now.

Much like Bleach, didn't care for the latest chapter. Nothing really grabbed my attention. I was kinda hoping that Madara stayed on the battlefield a little while longer but "shrugs".
-
I didn't really care too much for this chapter. And at the same time for the most part, outside of Jackie and Ginjo I don't really care for these fullbring abilities. Also, Tsukishima (sp?) seems like another Aizen. He look like him, especially with the smug looks he's been giving everyone. I guess I just wanted to see Ichigo evolve a little more without people getting in the way.

No doubt Luffy's an annoying lead. I hate him just as much as Naruto (actually I find Naruto to be the worst. 2nd to Shinji and Shippo), but the thing that won me over with Luffy was his loyalty to his crew. It actually felt real. I just finished with the latest episode. Good episode, good animation but it looks just like a repeat of Soul Society, just less epic. To be more specific it felt like a combination of Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. You have captains and vice captains surrounding the big kahuna (much like what happened with Aizen) only for them to flee and be greeted by the rest of the flock (Hueco Mundo). It wasn't bad by any means but it just felt all too familiar. On a positive note though, the animation looks like it's straight out of one of Bleach's movies. The quality is top notch and that's what's been making me come back to this current arc.

Hah, now I feel the urge to just rub it in your face now. :D
So recently I went to Gamestop and bought a few games. The 3rd Birthday, Devil May Cry 1, 2, and 3, Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar and Soul Calibur 3. Love The 3rd Birthday so far, and same with HM. Haven't even played SC yet, since I only got it so I can get DMC 1 and 2 for free. And I am stuck on the first boss in DMC. How lame can I get. :| But I looked around on the internet and quite a few people say it was a very hard first boss, so I don't feel as bad. But I lost the motivation to even try to go against that boss again. And below is my new signature about me talking about the boss. :V *finds it pretty lulzy*
It's been a long time since I've played DMC1 so I need a refresher. 1st boss is who/what exactly? I want to say a giant spider for some reason. I also seem to recall that if you die 3 times (I think it's 3) you get to play the game on easy. As far as Soul Calibur goes, I lost interest in that series when I got my hands on SC2.
So, I would like to tell you all that I am so bloody thankful for you guys, as a whole. You're part of my other family. I'm a little shaken up by the tornadoes - one nearly touched down on us and I have no shame in saying I was about to cry. We could see the lightening so bright it was like daytime, but we couldn't hear it over the wind. All I can think of is how lucky and blessed I am, especially that [as far as I can tell] all of my family and friends are still alive.
Glad to hear that you're alright. That was the craziest outbreak I've ever heard of. I also fear tornadoes and will freak out if we even have a tornado watch. Been a little bit since I've last posted in this thread. There's a lot I need to catch up on, mainly the podcasts. My job has made me so tired to the point to where I don't feel like doing a thing when I get home. And now they moved me to the production line starting this coming Monday. Ordinarily one would think this is a good thing, but at the same time I can't say it is because I was suppose to have been let go (I'm a temp), but I was told that they didn't want to get rid of a good worker so I was moved. I was also told that this has happened once before, they had a situation where they got rid of all but 3 temps, so being on the production line might be a saving grace, but like I said this might not be a good thing since I keep hearing that the production manager is a douche and I have quite a mouth, or rather I'm not afraid to say what I mean (I just hold back) And this heel spur is beating the crap outta me.

That does suck but I gotta say I'm glad that I don't have a PSN or Live account. Heck, I can't even get online because I don't have an [strike]account[/strike]. Typo, I meant router.

My copy of Death Note finally arrived so I'll be watching that along with the other series I previously mentioned.
So, ladies and gentlemen, as some already know, I recently acquired a ps3. Right now, I'm playing gta4. Any games you guys might recomend me getting? I was curious about the latest Final Fantasy.
It all depends on what type of games you're into.
