Heh I'm the exact opposite, so long as the story is good I don't mind how crap the animation is (hence why the Bount Arc is still my favourite filler). I will say the animation is absolutely top notch (leading to questions as to why it wasn't during so much of the Fake Karakura arc) so that does salve some bit of the irritation.
Hmm... If that's the case why haven't you been watching One Piece XD? The plot is definately better than Bleach and Naruto but the animation/artwork is terrible. I haven't been watching nor reading it because it lost me and haven't been able to hook me since the Whitebeard arc.

Lol, that's why I don't watch anime for plot. If anime have a nice plot that's just extra credit or something from me. Other than that, I'm an animation, character development, fighting kinda guy. Speaking of which, why in the world is the animation so much better than everything we've seen in the canon bits? 2 episodes of filler back-to-back with nicely done animation, I'm almost akin to say that I'm going to regret seeing the newest manga arc shouldn't even be animated simply because Kubo was more involved with that one. This filler arc so far and the zanpakuto arc has been, by far, the best animation I've seen in this series. With that being said, I gotta say I'm looking forward to the next episode. Yoruichi vs Byakuya.

Hmm.. Maybe in my heart I truly like Ninja Gaiden 2 more than Ninja Gaiden 1 (mostly because of the combos) because right now I'm enjoying Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 a lot more than the first. While the blood in the original never bothered me, I can't say that the tone down bothers me either. The game still feels the same, but then again I am only on the 2nd chapter. 1 thing I will say that I do miss from the original is the upgrades. I have close to 20,000 essence but can't do anything with it. The big statue fight, I'm pretty sure I'll get used to it in the long run but it wasn't necessarily bad, but at the same time it's not needed either. Anyway, I'm also about to start playing God of War 1 soon (got the collection along with God of War 3) as well as Devil May Cry 4. I bought it for the PS3 as well (why, bout to trade the 360 version in soon). So altogether I'm currently playing Uncharted 1, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (kinda lost interest in 1), Devil May Cry 4, and God of War 1. I also have Metal Gear Solid 4 and Yakuza 3 in the backlog. Though I don't have the time that I'd like to have to play these games I most certainly won't be complaining about not having any games to play for a while.

I now own God of War: Collection along with God of War 3. Thinking about buying my first anime series (Death Note) now. First as in first time in a long time.

Yeah, I just don't think it's meant to be that I will will ever like Chad again. Don't want Ichigo to know the guy who attack Orihime yet you're talking about this right in front of him. How dumb can you get? Good chapter but Chad just made me not like him even more.

Trigun It's been forever since I've watched this. The last episode I watched was "Diablo", my personal favorite simply because of Legato's 1st appearance. I don't know why but I always thought that it was the 7th episode when Legato first came into everything. In any case, to me, Johnny Young Bosch voice is at it's best in this series. I was looking for a similar range for his Ichigo but was pretty disappointed. Basilisk Originally I was having volumes shipped from Blockbuster but now that it's on demand I don't really have any more need for it. The first 5 episodes are on demand and I plan on recording them... I'm still stuck in my VHS ways. Le Chevalier I haven't started watching this yet, but like Basilisk and Trigun, it's on demand. I'm fairly curious about this series considering I see that it's done by the same folks that did Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Moribito. I hear the animation is top notch and the characters are good, and considering I've been looking for something new to watch, this would be something to check out.

Oh wow, I didn't post in here. Uhh, I actually don't have any reason to hate Naruto in this chapter. It's about time he finally started to notice something's up, however, now I really got something against Tsunade. More than likely Shino's father is a jounin. Why in the world did she send Iruka there? I understand that he may have been able to talk Naruto out of it, but to restrain him...? Seriously? Even I have to acknowledge that Naruto at this point has possibly surpassed all the kages but she sends a chunin in there. She's probably the worst choice I've seen as Hokage. I will admit that I cannot see Naruto as Hokage whatsoever, but Tsunade is just terrible. Such a shame too because I used to support her before the time leap.

If it is his badge then consider me very curious at how this arc will turn out. Just how much of a margin is the time difference? How will this time difference play a role in the clones (Even though I kind of have an idea but can't put it into words just yet)?

So last weekend I beat Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. The cinematics and the fighting was nice, but the RPG elements really threw the game outta wack for me. Navigating the terrain and the missions were wasted space. Honestly, except for the Cursed Doll mission each mission could be done in mere seconds since the objective is right next to you (next screen). When you're navigating it's like doing nothing but running from point A to point B. Then near the end of the game you run around as Sakura for nothing... I liked where Namco was heading with the game overall but these aspects of the game really brings it down. It went from a B to a low C for me. It's definately more for fans of the series though. Anyway, today, I continued playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The platforming and camera continues to haunt me in this game. I don't recall having much platforming issues on the original Xbox game until near the end of the game. In any case, I'm still having a blast with the game though. I'd still probably call this the best action game out there but to be honest, Devil May Cry 3/4 is right on it's heels since I've had a lot of fun with those games. I also started playing Uncharted: Drakes Fortune a little while ago. This game is pretty to look at on my new tv (I'm so happy I bought a tv). I've died about 5 times already due to trial and error. I've never died so many times before at the beginning stages of a game. I'm only on chapter 3 as well. I can't say dying is turning me away from the game either.
Definitely an interesting episode, the only thing that bugged me was right at the end where
they arrest Ichigo, they attack him first.
Surely an "Ichigo, would you might coming with us, we have a few questions" would've been better than
"I'm attacking you to arrest you, stop resisting!"
I mean this is the guy who stopped Aizen for you, and has been a straight-up ally for a considerable period of time, apparently taking the time to simply explain the situation to him is a bit much.
I'm assuming that whatever Byakuya and Renji found is linked with Ichigo.... Anyway, I agree that was an interesting episode. I can't say that that whole snippet at the end really bothered me. If anything I'm seeing traces of Fade to Black in this, but this time they know who Ichigo is. I'm having a little bit of faith renewed in the animation department though. Like the Zanpakuto filler, I just know one of these characters are going to do something very stupid to drag this filler out though.
So in the past half hour, I was informed of, got an application for, suddenly found out I had an interview for, and got a job at Hardee's. The catch? Making biscuits every morning from 4 am to noon. The bright side? It's money.

I'm in the same boat as Al if I get this transfer. Have to be at work at 4 so people can have their friggin breakfast burritos :<
At least you 2 get to cook (I couldn't do that though). I have to be at work by 6 am to play with some super strong glue and lithium ion battery cells. Also, I don't know if anyone working experienced downtime or not, but our downtime is ridiculous. It seems like my station experiences some form of downtime every day or every other day. Whether it's empty glue / broken glue-gun, or no cells, we are always having downtime. The kicker though, is that we have to make ourselves look busy. What the hell? How the hell? Holy hell..... This would be easy if there was actually something to do. Go to another station only to find out that it's down. Some times I wonder why do they even bother telling us to come in. Today was BS though. We had everything setup and we're ready to start building only to be told that we have to wait. We ended up waiting until 2:00 and my shift ends at 2:30 X_X. (waiting around for 8 hours with nothing to do... Yeah, lovely days) But yeah, have anyone experienced these kind of downtimes? Are the even natural when working at a manufacture/factory/warehouse thingy. The bright side of that is I still get paid to do nothing. The bad is trying to make it for 8.5 hours with nothing to do. (Can't listen to music) I need a punching bag.

Despite a few annoyances with Orihime and stupidity coming from some of the captains I thoroughly enjoyed the Zanpakuto filler arc. Truth be told it's the only arc I actually watched. I tried watching both the Bount arc and "what's his name" arc but couldn't make it through it. I haven't even bothered checking out this filler arc. I will admit that that intro is intriguing but given Bleach's history, it only looks good because all of there intro's animation are top quality. There intro's are always looking better than the series itself. But then I'm also seeing Kon so he could be the other cause of my doubt.

Wow, I haven't been this interested in Bleach for quite some time now. To actually have my curiousity piqued like this was like back in the whole Soul Society arc dealing with Aizen's betrayal. I'm very curious about Ichigo's transformation now. No body to leave around this time so how will he be reverting back to normal?
i dislike old batty teachers. as a senior we are aloud to use our phones at school and i was, i had walked past two teachers who saw me with it and didn't care BUT Mrs Smith (who is the head of english and is an old batty teacher) told me to take my phone to the front office and she then esscorted me there =.=; so because of school policy i cannot get my phone back for 24 hours and i have to have a parent pick it up
I remember those days. To add onto that we also got suspended as well. School was/is so overrated.

Jumping back and forth between games right now. It feels strange doing all this rotating because I've never owned so many games that I've never completed. I'm usually beating one game at a time and then moving on to the next. I will go back to doing that eventually but right now I have so many games that I want to play all at the same time. Anyway, I went back to playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. The last fight I did was Kakashi vs Itachi. I'm suppose to head to some location I cannot remember at the moment, but I do know that I'm still doing the rescue the Kazekage chapter. Edit: Hmm. I'm currently on the Hebi Formation chapter and while it is a good game I find that there are some things dragging it down, mainly some of these missions/requests. Honestly, I would rather rush through the game than do some of these missions. I know they're optional and whatnot, but I'm only doing them because there's no telling what could be missed for not doing them.
Hide-and-Seek with Konoharmaru... A mission that could be done within mere seconds after talking to him is a complete waste.
Traversing from place to place is on the boring side as well simply because all you're doing is going from point A to point B while searching for items along the way. This is a small problem but because there's a lot of traveling (at least I've been doing a lot of traveling) it tends to build up into a bigger problem overtime. But hearing that this game is only about 15-18 hours makes it less of a problem. (I had a similar issue with Tales of the Abyss) Fighting has been good. Nitpicking at the controls here and there. The only other Naruto game I've played was the first Ultimate Ninja and I had the same issues in that game as well. 1 attack button. I'm so used to my fighting games having a kick and punch button. The 1 attack button makes things feel, I don't know, watered down (not sure if that's the term I'm looking for) but it does even itself out because I'm terrible at using substitution lol. You should see me here trying to do all this substituting only to fail in the process. That's why I've been losing so many fights. There are some things that should've/could've been handled differently to make it feel a lot like the manga/show.
The first encounter between Naruto and Sasuke. We all know that Naruto didn't win that fight. That should've been a fight you can't win (I hated that cutscene where Naruto pretty much got the best of Sasuke while he managed to not get touched at all... Come on.. That's some one-sided stuff even though it looked good.
Overall though, the game is sitting at a low B.

Just going to throw out a random name because of the short white hair. Is that Mushi-shi? (Never even seen the series before)
So I saw this in a Kotaku comment, thought it would make a fun thread: â??First game you ever played on each console you've ever played.. GO! (exclude games played on display consoles like at Wal-Mart, Target, Gamestop, etc..)â?
You gotta go digging through your memory on this one. For the most part I got most of my consoles fairly late. Never got anything on release or the year they came out. NES Super Mario Bros 1 Till this day I still haven't beaten this game (any Mario game for that matter). Probably won't either since I have no interest in the series anymore. SNES Super Mario World Like Mario 1, haven't beaten it. Gameboy Tetris Don't really need to say much about this do I? It was fun and that's that. Genesis Sonic 2 This was at my cousin's house. I saw him do Super Sonic trick, but could never get it to work for me so I stopped playing it a long time ago lol. Sega CD Sewer Shark This was the only game I actually played on the thing and I hated it. Well, this harsh so I'll say I couldn't get into it. Around this time I was into the fighting games. Sega Saturn Virtua Fighter 2 / Virtua Cop 2 Can't remember which one we got first but me and my brother (forget that "my brother and I" crap) had a blast with both games. We had some epic battles when it came to VF2 though. He would always pick either Kage or Wolf and my characters were Lion (I think that's his name... The youngest male) and Jacky Gameboy Color Pokemon Red Red, Yellow and Silver were the only games I actually had on GBC and even then I was pretty much done after Silver. I'm no Pokemon fan (can't stand it to be honest with you) by any means but even I have to admit that they were some addicting games. Playstation 1 Crash Bandicoot It was more of a demo disc actually. That was the last actual platformer I played before I stopped playing games like that. I want to say the first game I actually bought was either Tekken 3 or Spider-man though. Dreamcast Shenmue Pfft. I don't care what anyone says. That's one of the greatest games ever. Nintendo 64 Goldeneye007 A game I think I can hang with anyone in. Xbox Halo / Ninja Gaiden Can't remember if my brother bought Halo or I rented Ninja Gaiden 1st. Regardless, both games are a blast. We never got into multiplayer but we did do coop though. Playstation 2 Metal Gear Solid 2 This was where I got started with my MGS addiction. Great game, but now I'm sorely disappointed in this title. I beat it on normal for the first time last year only to find out you don't get anything worth the effort outside of the stupid camera. Going through that torture dealing with Emma and swimming, ARGH!!!!!!!! Gamecube Dragonball Z Budokai / Tales of Symphonia I think my brother rented DBZ first, can't remember. (I didn't play this console much) Xbox 360 Gears of War 2 At my brother-in-law house. We got right into the multiplayer and at that time it was a turn-off. Get me in front of that game now, I'll love every minute of it (Single-Player Campaign only) Nintendo DS Phoenix Wright Justice For All Fun game but once it's beaten that's pretty much it. And that's been my keep me from checking out the rest of the games. Playstation 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 Seeing how I basically got my PS3 along with this game (and the rest of my ps3 games) last month I haven't really played much of the game. I've been rotating between so many games now.

Another chapter that I liked. One thing I probably won't say again is that Ichigo don't use his head. I just hope that by the time he actually fight people on his level / stronger than him he doesn't go back to being an idiot. He did use his head a little bit against Ulquiorra but it didn't make much of a difference. But for the most part he's always just looking stupid waiting for the attack to hit him or something. Now I'm enjoying him as a main character though. I don't know if he's on Ageha's level of likeness but he's catching up. Seriously though, Ichigo's a martial artist. Why in the world was he just fighting with a sword against the Shinigami and Espada, especially the Espada (Taking kicks to the dome, punches to the face, fingers through the chest). It was like he didn't know how to defend himself without the use of his sword. As for the chapter, this would probably be the only time I want to see a scene with Chad. I'm curious about whathisname's abilities.

Good chapter. Can't knock Choji on this one, but I'm really hoping we don't get anymore chapters dealing with Ino-Shika-Cho. Took Naruto long enough to figure something was going on... >_>
I am thinking that it would be cool to keep Zelda in the third person, but perhaps to change the perspective slightly. In my mind's eye, I am thinking about a slightly over-the-shoulder perspective (think, say...Mass Effect 2, but perhaps with the camera pulled back a little further).
At first I was gonna say every game could use the over-the-shoulder treatment but thinking about it, no, God of War and Devil May Cry (which probably could use it) seem like it wouldn't be that great since the games can get pretty hectic. But Zelda could definately use the over-the-shoulder look. That'll at least get me interested in the series again (Couldn't finish Twilight Princess or Wind Waker because of the tired feel and formula) Anyway, you mentioned Mass Effect and. while it's not a genre thing, it's more like a general want (I think I even mentioned this in the ME thread), but I'd like to see some JRPGs play like Mass Effect. Like Zelda, turn-based RPGs and the action rpgs are tiring and I just can't get into them anymore, no matter how good the story or intriguing the characters are. You can only get so far with just the X button. I understand you have the S/TRPGs but those were never my cup of tea, but I may have to play those just to get a different feel of variety from the JRPGs. Let Bioware handle the gameplay and interaction department and let some JRPG developer do the characters and you'd probably have a big hit.
-
I like this chapter although I was upset when they switched over to Chad and Orihime. I wanted to see more of Jackie's abilities and then I'm just curious about Ichigo in general.
-
Gotta say I didn't care for this chapter this time. Story/Characterization perspective it's good but because of who the character is, no. This the type of stuff I'm not into. At least not for characters I don't like.
Now, possibly this could use its own topic, but I figure I'll ask right here - do you guys have a least favourite Internet meme? I mean, something that became popular and every time you saw it, you cringed. I think there may be a lot of people who felt this way about the whole rickrolling phenomenon as well (although I was pretty indifferent to that, myself).
Chuck Norris jokes. I know someone explained it once before but they're some of the most corniest jokes I've ever heard. I don't know if that's a meme or not though but the internet is pretty much the only place I've seen them at. I think I might've heard a joke mentioned on tv one time. That had me sighing big time.
