So I've spent most of the day relaxing a bit as well as [strike]getting annoyed at[/strike] playing Super Street Fighter 4. I think I deserve the free day considering that I was working 10 hours each day last week (except for yesterday). But I can't really complain about it since the money is good. Taxes been getting me a bit as well, but I think they'll be owing me when I file. Anyway, I need some pop-tarts as well as a smoothie (since I don't get a chance to get the fruit I want) Now I need to play catch up on the podcasts.

[font=franklin gothic medium][color=darkred]I'm up here watching some of these challenge mode videos on 1up, and I have to say that most of these attacks/combos on a lot of these characters look devastating. But the ones I have my eyes on at the moment is Guy, Cody, Ryu, and Juri. Dee Jay looks promising, but I seemed to recall a lot of his moves being charging types, and I was never good with those folks because I could never combine there combos with their supers. Since I have a 360 I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon. I heard that there're quite a few people that plays it on the 360. Not that it matters since, right now I have no intention in going online with it. (I need to get a router for that to happen anyway) I probably won't touch Cody, but I definately tend to learn Guy. I've seen some really good Guy vids and I want to give my brother-in-law a run for his money next time he come through. I didn't do bad against him considering it was my first time playing (I did better than I expected). Won 3 of the 15+ matches (wasn't expecting to win those). This time I'll be a little more prepared since now I'm aware of the Focus attacks and cancels. I knew you could do it, but I didn't know how to pull it off (he don't do well at explaining things) Anyway, I've also been watching Ryu vids (mainly Daigo) as well as Fei Long (Mago) and now Juri. I'm looking for a good Ibuki video as well. I gotta remember I can do a soft delete. Sorry about that. Finally got my copy of the game. I did have it earlier but the copy I had was in terrible condition. And what pissed me off about it was that on Amazon, it was labeled/tagged as "Like New". When I got the game the case was beat up, and the disc barely worked and I'm like come on. I gotta joystick coming in the mail as well, and might get clobbered since I'm so terrible when it comes to those things. However, to get through these trials (Ryu's 7th challenge is hard in itself) with the 360 controller.

I think I've read both Naruto and Bleach on either Wednesday or Thursday, it's just now I have a chance to actually talk about it. I have to admit that I actually chuckled a bit at this weeks chapter. Ichigo's face after getting sneezed on was funny along with that guy looking at Orihime. I don't want to jump the gun just yet and say she was actually doing something because it did look like she was attacking but then this guy is an idiot. But I still that pretty funny as well. Like I said, though, if she gets kidnapped again I'm done. I'd rather she lose than get kidnapped. At least then I won't complain about her not doing anything. Oh yeah, congrats on the position change, Gavin. Now you have an obligation to keep the Psyren thread on the first page :).

Oh no, HELL no. If Orihime gets captured again, I'm done. I refuse to put up with her being kidnapped once more. I don't know if I can put up with anyone being kidnapped, honestly, especially if they're just going to sit there and do nothing.

^Agreed. With that said, I have to say that I've lost that excitment I once had for this game. I'm looking at some of the fights and whatnot. The high octane speed of this game just don't get me excited anymore. At first I wanted the game due to it being a Marvel vs Capcom game and then I wanted it because Dante and Deadpool were announced to be in it. Then we get all this whining about ____'s not in the game or complaining because of Capcom's reasoning and I'm like "you know, just find some way to ignore these people". And now, when it comes down to it, I just don't want or need massive combo's, air combo's or high speed. Right now I find myself preferring the mechanics of Super Street Fighter 4 (just ordered it about 5 minutes ago). I'm sure it's a great game though. But for the time being I'm going to pass up on this one.

The latest chapter of Naruto was good but on the corny side as well. Darui, while it's good he saved himself, but to have saved himself by saying "sorry" one extra time just felt corny. Not taking away from the chapter though because I still liked it.

While I'm not defending this chapter of Bleach, I can't say I had much of an issue with it either. It's the most excitment I've seen of Bleach since Aizen's end so I'm kind of intrigued now. Although, I will say that Ichigo's weapon is corny. For one, I don't really understand what it's suppose to be. Two, if his weapon is going to look like that until he get his powers back I will be disappointed. I'd much rather see his badge turn into a sword or an actual weapon than continue looking like Zangetsu's hinge. But I definately agree. Psyren shouldn't have been canned for this current arc of Bleach.

This is my 2nd week of work (1st full week) and I'm already doing overtime. I'll be working both tomorrow and Sunday. Got my computer out of the shop and it seems like it needs to go back. He said that my hard drive is fine but I'm having doubts since I'm still getting the blue screen of death.

I was watching [b]Basilisk[/b] vol 2 last night. Good stuff, but [spoiler]Okoi's death[/spoiler] was rather sad, but then again, Basilisk is a sad series to begin with. This is my 2nd time watching this series and yet again I'm siding with the Kouga. It's almost like the Iga is just packed with villains. Don't get me wrong, I like villainous characters, it's more like the Iga is unlikable. Comcast put [b]Gungrave[/b] on demand, but I don't know who I want to strangle more, them or Funimation for putting a pricetag on it. That's just [spoiler]RUDE[/spoiler]. And then of course I'm still watching [b]Trigun[/b] on demand as well. Waiting for Legato's first appearance.

I mainly beat em ups/hack n slashers so I need for the controls to feel as tight and comfortable as possible. If they're clunky, less responsive then there's a chance I won't even bother with it. Next would be replayability. That's kind of a strange thing for me to say since I don't particularly care for multiplayer or achievements/unlockables. I have to use games like Ninja Gaiden or Metal Gear Solid here. If you can play an entire game differently than your first playthrough then that's good enough for me in terms of replayability, and besides, you can always use those type of games to take out some frustration. And lastly, graphics. I have to admit that I've been a lot more lenient on games when it came to graphics lately (of course I have otherwise I wouldn't touch the DS at all), but yes, a game also have to look pretty these days for me.

I keep hearing about the Black Eyed Peas. Were they really that bad? There haven't been any performances worse than them? I did manage to see the Chrysler and Eminem commercial about Detroit and I like it. I didn't stick around for the others.
