Mashiro is/was inspired by Oda or something like that, but the character models in FT aren't anywhere near as ugly as OP.
I've not played the series myself, but that's what I've consistently heard, that Assassin's Creed 2 is immensely better than the first one. Super Street Fighter IV - I AM HORRIBLE AT THIS GAME LOL. Seriously, I really like it, but ohhh my gosh I'm craptacular at it so far. I keep going through Chun Li's story/arcade mode and keep having Juri hand my butt back to me several times. I guess I should try out the other characters and get back to hers later...
While it is better, had I known any better I wouldn't have been in a rush to get it either. Neither was is bad, these type of games aren't what I'm looking for either (I know, $31 wasted). While I'd like to continue I just can't conjure up the interest to play these games. Watching on the other hand, it's totally watchable. I'm going to get Devil May Cry 4 and Batman Arkham Asylum which was what I should've got in the first place. I hear the character challenge is your best friend.

I still need to finish up Dragon Quest 8. Too bad I don't have a ps2 anymore. Anyway, I'm just waiting for my 360 to arrive now and I'll finally get to start blasting/stabbing aliens/people. In the meantime I did a booboo. I called myself just checking out a few walkthroughs to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood just to see if I want it or not (of course I want it). 1 thing led to another and I ended up watching the whole thing. Crap! I just couldn't stop watching it because it was epic. The music really stood out in that game. Anyway, I'll be trading in my old games for some more 360 games (Will probably be Devil May Cry 4 and Halo 3. Or Batman Arkham Asylum) My Xbox is here finally. I'm going bye-bye now. Edit: So I started my run of Assassin's Creed last night and I quit playing today. I'm just not feeling this game. It's like no excitement whatsoever. Being chased have its tensed moments but at the same time I can't say I like them either mainly because I suck badly when it comes to running on all that stuff and I don't know where all the hiding spots are. And then I only have a 20" tv, so the icons are hard to see. And then there's Altair. While I would think he's a bad### I also find him to be rather annoying as well. This guy shoots off at the mouth entirely too much, and, well, while I do like that at times I just find it annoying coming from him. Anyway, I'll be trading this one in soon. I also started playing Gears of War 2 last night as well. Let's just say I forgot how to play lol. And then I just started playing Assassin's Creed 2 earlier today. Way better than the first. Right off the bat it's a lot more exciting and the controls feel a lot tighter and smoother. I feel more comfortable running on buildings in this one as well. And then I wasn't nearly as scared of getting into fights on this one like I was in the first one, granted I had just gained the counter attack/kill. Everything just feels more comfy.

No, Kei. All kids deserve to get slapped in the face. I applaud that teacher... "coughs" Anyway, 40 pages? I'll just say what the hell? "Tell that ##### she was wrong" LOL! You got some black in you don'tcha Kei? When everyone was talking about the videogames even though they didn't say anything, I can sort of see chibi and Kei having the blankest faces because it's almost like they haven't the slightest clue of what you're talking about, especially when talking about SSF4. "CaNz vs Korey" I just bust out laughing. "She says she will kill your face" ............ "I need my face" "I need it to die" LOL. Wow. Nice podcast.

New Years is this Saturday and might as well get this thing started. [strike]One of mine is I'm going to be blunt as hell again (hurting feeling type of blunt). There was once a time when I was extremely blunt and sarcastic. I stopped because, I don't know, I just stopped, but since I've stopped I've been letting people get away with too much stupidity and it's time I put these maggots in check.[/strike] Get a job and a car will be my new years resolution. I don't know if I'll be able to stick with it though since this is Detroit I'm living in. What's yours?
-
Ah, then yes, those parts are the boring parts. I would say stick with it since it begins to pick up steam (or rather, things begin to get more interesting) right after that arc is done. And even then I didn't really get hooked until the Alabasta arc and you have some ways before that arc, so yeah. I do feel your pain. I was able to stick with it so far because I liked how the characterization in it.

I don't even remember what happened in those parts of the chapters. Is that dealing with Arlong and the Fishman Pirates?
well... I would give you my copy had I not returned it the same week I got it.
...Damn

Length never bothers me as long as the game replayable. Gungrave Overdose can be beat in about 4-6 hours but it's also replayable, especially since all you're doing is shooting stuff up (Just about everything is able to be shot) and its good for anger lol.

Pretty indeed. I think I want to move to the west now lol.
ODST is all campaign.. which is kinda lame in the first place, but for the normal price-tag I just feel stolen from. (its multi-player is just halo 3 multi-player) even worse though is how short the single player mode really is. I beat it on heroic in six hours. I could have gone back and played it on legendary but for one... there was only five enemies in that whole game and I got bored, and two I would have had to use stupid stealth tactics just to win. I don't know why they added that element because it barely ever works, and when it does it feels like you aren't playing halo. you could probably get this one pretty cheap now... but you'll beat it once or twice and then drop it. and I am kinda suprised you didnt like borderlands... it might be a bit too much of an rpg... but that game is by far my favorite 360 game so far.
Just so you know I'm all about single-player campaign. I'm not really into multiplayer unless I'm over my in-law's house. For Borderlands, it's definately not the RPG part that didn't grab me (The tip that I'm planning to get Mass Effect should've tipped you off on that one). It's hard to explain why I don't really care for Borderlands. So I just got back from Gamestop. Decided to get Gears of War 2 as the free game. It was an even harder choice once I got to the store.

I've actually completed Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 along with Devil May Cry 4 (epic games). As I've stated, the only reason why I'm even considering those games is because they help clear my head/cool me off. I'll have to check into Mirror's Edge. I've seen videos and I do know I'll end up buying it one day. We'll see. I have a lot to think about today. I'll update with what I bought a little later on today.
It's a lot better than Illinois. And Battle Creek and St. Joseph are really pretty imo.
Ah, never been to those parts of Michigan. But I still wouldn't advise living here. Getting jobs is still quite hard.
She probably saw one of these gorgeous, Tim Allen-approved ads: But my sister lives in Detroit and I was there last week for Greenfield Village's Christmas display, so I know it's been chilly haha. My parents live in Carson City over by Lansing and I'm in Grand Rapids.
Ah, another spot I haven't been to. Man, I've lived in Michigan my entire life and have never ventured to any other spot in Michigan except for what's around Detroit (Southfield, Highland Park, Livonia, Dearborn and Auburn Hills). I need a car so I can go on a road trip by myself. Greenfield Village. Yuck! I officially hate that place. Grades 1-5 that's the only place we ever went to. Sometimes we'd go to the zoo but it's always been Greenfield Village.

What's wrong with ODST? I've played Borderlands just recently over my brother-in-law's house last week and I wasn't convinced to buy it. It's decent but it didn't give me any reason to want to play more of it.
-
Yes, now you see the pain I've been going through since Christmas. I've already played DMC4, Halo 3 and Gears of War 2, but the reason I'm still debating on whether I should get them are because those are some great games to take all of my frustration out on (I have a lot of rage pinned up).
I love Michigan! Michigan is so beautiful. I wanna live there some day. lol
No you don't. Whatever you saw was a facade.

Its nothing short of pandering to fans in a very poor way. Can anyone tell me if this gets better or have I wasted £15 on a really bad series?
I've actually never seen it and because of the views from others I've never bothered to even give it a shot. Just about everyone I know who've seen that series hates it. I'm watching more Fairy Tail. I'm just getting to the episodes where it's
Fairy Tail vs Fairy Tail
. I've also be re-watching Ghost in the Shell: SAC. Still my favorite series ever and it's still as epic as ever.
And it's actually a very pleasant day outside here... for Michigan.
What part of Michigan? Here in Detroit, it's pretty cold but then again we had a minor breeze earlier this morning and I haven't been out since then so I don't know what it's like outside right now.

I've seen this at other forums and while they post a thread each month I figured why not just make it one big thread. I know this can also be discussed in the "What are you Playing" thread but I don't think people really talk about accessories in a game thread. Besides, the game you just recently purchased might not be the game you're playing. It's a good chance that you purchased the game and put it on the backburner until you finish up whatever it is that you're playing. Anyway, enough beating around the bush. Whether it was a gift or something you purchased post it. I know "lists" are rather taboo-ish but there's not really much to discuss in this kind of thread so I'm hoping we can be a bit lenient. (Especially if it's something you got from somebody else) Anyway, to kick things off I'm expecting my Xbox 360 to arrive in the mail sometime this week. Got it as a gift. The 1st games I'll be getting some time this week will be Assassin's Creed 1 & 2. Gamestop got a sale going on; buy 2 used games and get 1 free and only having $31 to my name at the moment I have to be as cheap as possible. That free game I've yet to decided what it will be. Right now I'm trying to decide between Devil May Cry 4, Halo 3 (May get ODST If I get Halo 3), Mass Effect (If I get this, I'll get 2 online), Super Street Fighter 4, Batman Arkham Asylum, Gears of War (If I get this, I'll get 2 online) or Bayonetta.
unless I guess you're looking at it from a Taoist/Jedi perspective and then the overall soul which everything is a part of makes a bit of sense.
Believe it or not, the first thing that came to mind when I saw fullbring was "The Force". I do think it's a bit stupid as well. Alcohol having a soul.... I rather Kubo used a different way of wording that or something instead of saying that non-living objects have a soul. Hell, he's been redoing events and powers through and through, he could've just came out and said all things are control-able or something, much like Zommari's ability.

I haven't planned anything outside of going to church and then I'll probably spend the rest of the day/night either sleep or chillin out.
