I finally got around to watching this movie and its awesome. It's an action fans dream and my movie of the year. Heaven's Cloud pretty much nailed it with his brief summary although my favorites were Sly and Statham, but truthfully, everyone was good. Even the less experienced, Randy Couture because he didn't have many lines to begin with. I don't know any names outside of Gunner and Christmas (really?). Other than that I could barely hear the names... It's like the voices on the dvd was recorded on low (Sly is not a loud talker to begin with) so it was pretty hard to hear what he was saying at times. I liked Arnold and Willis appearance as well. Speaking of Willis, [spoiler]I hear they're making a sequel and having him to be the villain this time around[/spoiler]. I don't know if that's true or not though. But yeah, this is definately the best movie I've seen in a long time (that's not been animated). No other movies have caught my interest, so yeah, Sly FTW. I'm ready for the sequel now.

Pleiades, I feel your pain with Blood+ and honestly you're way better than I am because you at least got through 25 episodes. I couldn't make it past 4. I jumped in and out on some, but Kai, Riku, and Saya were far too annoying for me to get into the series. Anyway, I finally got over my IGPX craze and am now re-watching [b]Black Lagoon[/b]. Between this and Hellsing, whenever I'm in a bad mood I can always watch these 2 shows for some slight anger management. Both shows got the violence/action and the adrenaline that I need to relieve that tension. Anyway, while I haven't seen the sub to Black Lagoon I do enjoy the dub a lot but I also have some issues with it as well, mainly Rock. Brad Swailie (sp?) just don't sound right trying to cuss, or rather I can't get used to the guy dropping f-bombs, hell, I can barely get used to him saying [i]hell[/i]. He just don't sound right. Favorite episodes involves the maid chasing after the Lagoon company... (best adrenaline rush type episode ever) Not sure what I'm gonna watch after that. I'd like to watch Death Note, but I don't want to see the sub and blockbuster suck.

Mario is action/adventure? When I think of action/adventure I think of games like Ninja Gaiden, God of War, Uncharted, etc, etc.

9 friggin degree's outside right now... I like the cold (it's comfty to sleep in when you have a bunch of blankets and stuff on your bed) but wow, Detroit haven't gotten that low for some time... Although this whole week has been near record low temperatures so far for this time of the year.

Ok, I'm interested in the new characters a bit. The guy with the hat I find to be really intriguing for some reason. The girl look like a man, sorry.

Naruto wasn't showed this week so I'm happy. (outside of a flashback in a sense) I thought I wouldn't care for these little get-togethers but they seem to make things really interesting to me. Kabuto and Madara still remains interesting as well. I really wish Madara would tear Kabuto a new one. I don't like him one bit. I'm also digging the artwork I've been seeing as of late. Not on Kubo's level (sorry, he still takes the thrown there but his new designs are crap) but still really good. Maybe it's the cleaning that Binktopia is putting into it. Just a little side quibble. If I were to compare the big 3 right now I'd have to say that Naruto is better than the other 2.

Remember, this is IGN's choice not viewer/reader's choice. Though I do question some of this stuff myself. I haven't played any games that came out this year but going by IGN's list it looks like this year wasn't great at all for games. Some of the categories had only 2-3 games... And then I question some of the picks themselves in certain categories. Some just seemed off. Maybe we should come up with our own... "shrugs"

I had no idea that co-op was being added. That kind of makes me wonder who else is playable? I sure don't want to see 2 or more Batman's gliding across the screen. I'm pretty in the same boat as you, Sacred. While I don't mind co-op (actually I prefer co-op over multi-player anyday), I mainly like to play my games by myself these days since I use them for relieving stress and what better way to do that in a single player campaign? Anxiously waiting for my ps3 now.

The only thing I see that's even remotely close to Psyren is Ichigo calling Xcution (Really, Kubo?) and I really don't see many comparisons in that either. Xcution seems more like an organization, whereas Psyren was the future, at least that's my take on it. As for the chapter, um, I suppose things look like they're about to pick up but at the same time I'm seeing another training arc very reminisce to the Vaizards and, well, the repeats can go now. Of course I'm just speculating but still, given Kubo's history, it's not out the question. Answers should've been the 1st thing we got after that 2-3 week break. It's bad enough we had to endure a long arc with nothing but fights (I don't mind fighting btw) but we didn't get anything out of those fights. Now we must endure another 2-10 weeks before we get something about Aizen/Isshin/Urahara? That's a lot. If anyone were to drop this series I would definately understand why (I'm on the verge as well).

Anyway, Batman is roaming the city streets now instead of the asylum and he's also dealing with Hugo Strange. I think I remember seeing something about Two-Face being in this one as well. Anyway, it's set to release next Fall. Discuss.
