It's been a long time since I've seen Read or Die (never seen the TV series) but the one thing that I can remember that I thought stood out was the animation, especially during the fights. The way girlie made paper as her weapon was really impressive, but at the same time I think I was growing fed up with her character (it's been a long time so I could be mistaken). Her asking for the book got on my nerves, although it was cute the 1st couple of times, I was tired of hearing it afterwards. But still, it was pretty good.

So I'm not alone in rereading (a re-reread) Psyren. Currently on Tatsuo's 1st appearance. (Matsuri's 1st appearance was priceless/hilarious)

If you see a bug that has fur and it's visible, and it's big, RUN! Edit: I didn't see the picture until now. $$$$ that. RUN! LIKE! HELL! That is not something you'll kill by stepping on. That's a big ### manbug.
This reminds me of when there was a grasshopper in the girls bathroom at the college and no one would go in there. All the girls were just waiting outside. I went in squish the little bug and problem solved. It was the funniest think ever cause the looks on their faces was priceless.
That reminds me of the time my family and I were at a hotel in I think Canada (I think Travelodge) and they saw a friggin praying mantis outside the door (on the screen). Of course being the person that I am, I missed everything . This is also reminds me when a neighbor across the street from me had a praying mantis outside her screen door and she was screaming like crazy. I was cracking up. In any case, I'm beginning to remember why I stopped watching wrestling. It's not entertaining anymore. And holy cow, the patriots are murdering the jets.

I seem to recall your voice going low. I don't remember what part though. I want to say sometime during answering Korey's quiz.

There is one thing that I don't think was resolved seeing how I just came acrossed it again during my [strike]picture thieving[/strike] reread and that's Amamiya's memory loss thingy. Then again because it was rushed I probably read straight through it.

With visionary game designer Warren Spector behind the title, players choose their own path to defeat supreme evil, face the consequences of those decisions and ultimately free the Cartoon Wasteland. Explore the warped Disney Cartoon Wasteland and along the way change the world using magic paint and paint thinner. Paint, thin, platform and explore. The Cartoon Wasteland has many twists, turns, puzzles and platforms. Choose the best way to accomplish missions. Encounter forgotten cartoon friends - and enemies. Some of Mickeyâ??s old forgotten friends live in the Cartoon Wasteland. Get to know them, and choose to help them or leave them to live in the Cartoon Wasteland.
Reviews: Xplay - 5/5 I'm actually surprised no one is talking about this game. It seemed like a hit when it was revealed at E3. I've seen it mentioned quite a bit at some other places as well. Anyway, while I have no intentions on getting this game (I'm terrible at platformers and, well, no lol) I am pretty interested. I know my sister will probably get it for herself since she's into disney far more than I am. Discuss.

I'm bored and losing my mind so yeah...
This is a question for people who have been fans of the genre for atleast five years or more. How have you personally changed as a fan? Do you watch more or less than you used to? Do you find yourself favoring Anime over Manga and so on.
I think I started watching anime when I was about 17 and that was mainly what was on Toonami. I was 56k user so I definately didn't really have much to watch. Anyway, I'm probably more picky than I have ever been since all I really look for is anime with action (Samurai type action is a first priority), and then there are so many things that can turn me away from a series in a blink of an eye. Also, while I'm no longer a 56k user I do find myself watching less anime than what was aired on Toonami. I still watch my favorites (and keep up with Bleach and Naruto on some occasions) but I'm gradually losing interest in anime, this is due to the lack of anime for me and me not willing to open up to new stuff. I'll open up to something new on rare occasions but I've pretty much learned my lesson after trying to give Highschool of the Dead a shot (I should've learned my lesson after watching Evangelion). I know I've "schooched" around the question a bit but you get the picture.

Finally got a chance to read the final chapter of Psyren. Sad to see it end that way but like I said before it was still a nice ending. Here's to one of the greatest series ever. Now we just need an anime adaption because I know it's going to be a long time before I come across another series as good as this one. (No offense to the japanese but this is your fault)

Now I got a general idea of how people picture my voice lol (put a little more base in your voice though, kind of like your average football player and mix that with Ice Cube [rapper/actor] and you'd probably get what I sound like). Minus the "thug" qualities . SunfallE impression was funny.

While I can't really say that I'm all that disappointed with the latest chapters but I'm not pleased with them either. It's like after Luffy joined with the crew we hit a stalemate. Don't get me wrong, seeing stuff about the
Kraken and the Flying Dutchman
immediately reminded me of PotC and it certainly leads me to believe that we'll be having some epic moments, but these events leading up to those moments just feel ho-hum. I've chuckled a few times but I'm not really excited about what I've been seeing in these chapters.
I really dislike the whole "Power of Heart" being such a weakness for the various resurrected shinobi. Orochimaru at least had the sense to suppress their personalities before he sent them out into the field but this is just kinda lame where Kankurou of all people pulls out the "Talk no Jutsu" and has it work. Fights that should've been epic are probably going to only last half a page or so until the still living shinobi defeats them. Fearsome technique indeed.
Yes, the talk no jutsu is indeed lame, whether it fits him or not is a different story though... (He talked a lot back in the day so it may fit "shrugs") As for the length of fights, and while I don't mind it (short or long, as long as it goes somewhere I'm satisfied), be honest, do you really want to see another drawn out war similar to Bleach?

I haven't really felt like reading much of anything since Psyren ended . (And the slow and hate I have for Bleach with these chapters that's been coming out lately) It gave me that sense of freshness that I've always looked for with each release. Anyway, I'm caught up on Naruto and One Piece (I'll wait till Bleach is actually giving me some answers and action before I get back into reading that). 517 - 518 I liked these chapters, and yet again, while I haven't said this in a while, these other villages make the leaf look very weak. I was never a fan of Kankuro but he really shined in these chapters. He really improved and I respect the guy quite a bit now. Kumogakure, well we already know where I stand with this village (It's my favorite village) I'd really like to see more of Omoi, Karui, and Samui, mainly to see what they're capable of. 519 You can probably tell that I didn't care for this chapter. Same ol' Naruto antics.. Stick you fingers in your mouth why don'tcha to make things worst. I just don't find that funny one bit, and not to mention more Rasengan training. Seriously? As if I didn't have enough of the rasengan already.

Some folks just don't like cheerful people. "shrugs" Best thing you can do is [strike]tell her to have a coke and a smile and shut the #### up[/strike] ignore her (I've seen Eddie Murphy Raw entirely too many times). As you can see I'm not the best person to take advice from :D.

I didn't even notice James, thanks. (kinda gotten used to double posting quite a bit "coughs") As for Homefront, I'm looking at this E3 video of it, and it looks Call of Duty-ish. Not saying that's a good or bad thing since I've never played any of the games (I'm picky when it comes to FPS for some reason, like I'll only play 1 specific game and leave the rest alone since they all seem and feel so similar... Obviously, you can tell I don't have much experience with other games of the genre outside of Halo lol). It does look like an interesting game though. CaNz, I haven't even heard much about any games being released (none worth mentioning at least) which is surprising since this is usually the time for great games to come out. I guess it's because all the focus has been on Black Ops and Kinect, I think.

Now that I'm officially done with school I get to catch up on a few things but at the moment I'm currently watching (rewatching) IGPX. Despite my issues with Takeshi in the 2nd season I completely forgot how great a series this was. I'm not a big fan of either racing (I do like cars though) or mecha but I suppose if you combine the 2 you can get a masterpiece. The animation and fights are great (it's Production I.G. for crying outside. I expect nothing less that stellar material when it comes to animation) and they keep me on the edge of my seat. Favorite race so far is Team Satomi vs Team Velshtine (sp?) season 2, round 2 with Team Satomi vs Team Sledgemama afterwards (same, season 2). I'm also thinking about watching Gundam 00 and Code Geass again. While I've seen the 1st season of both seasons I didn't, however, see the 2nd season of either series. I also gotta finish up on Darker Than Black. Some other series I've thought about starting are Baccano, Claymore (people have been telling me to stick with the manga), and Hakuoki season 2. I Dropped Soul Eater. For some reason I just can't stick with this series, or rather, I just can't seem to keep myself interested in the series. And then there's the not anime. Young Justice is great. I have something to look forward to come next year. Manga I just started reading D-Grayman. I'm only on chapter 30, but honestly, I don't really see anything special about this one. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad (at least not at the moment) but it's not great either. I'm not finding that "freshness" (like it's something new or something of that nature) like I found in Claymore or Psyren (Psyren does nothing new it just does everything better). There have been some interesting moments along with some interesting characters. It does have a slow start but not like some of the other series out there. Things actually do happen and it don't take too long for something to jump off, but at the same time nothing real big has really jumped off yet. I think where I'm at right now is the setup for something real big.

No more schoooool! Finally. I'll have a lot of free time on my hands until I get a job. Hopefully I can get a job soon though.

What do you do when the internet is not working?
Magus replied to CaNz's topic in General Discussion
I'm usually playing some game but since I don't have a working console I've been having to resort to the DS with this [strike]cheatin ###[/strike] stupid game. If the internet were to go out now I'm pretty much SoL since I don't really have anything to keep me occupied at the moment. -
Phenom = "Fin nom" LOL Korey, you should do some Arnold Sw$$#$%#negger personations. You sound like you can pull him off.
