I've never played any of the Yakuza games, and to be honest I never thought I'd be interested in the series because it reminds me of the GTA series and I'm just not a fan of that series at all. (I hear it's good for anger management though) It's hard to really explain it. The "thug" nature of the games is not the turnoff, it's more like Rockstar games in general that just don't really appeal to me (And they look ugly). Anyway, I didn't really get curious about Yakuza until the 3rd game and while I haven't played it, people have told me that it's the next best thing for those of us that likes Shenmue, and, well, we know how big of a fan I am when it comes to the Shenmue games. Another reason why I think I'm more interested in the Yakuza games is because I'm more interested in the japanese settings and there's martial arts in it. Anyway, onto the trailer. The voice person makes that stuff sound interesting lol. Anyone else played these games? Thoughts? Etc, etc.

Don't get me wrong, Neil is easily my favourite Meister (and Lyle is pretty decent too) but if I were to make a set of anyone it'd be [strike]Char's 00 Clone[/strike] Graham Akre.
I can relate to that one. I had a hard time getting used to 00's artwork. I don't know though, I would think 00 would be perfect for siggies though... But then again, you're more experienced with photoshop (or whatever program you use) than I am. Maybe it's just what I'm seeing in my head. (I would never think big siggies would work for any type of series with weird art)

(At least I think you get something for doing all those songs... It's been song long) I'm not a completionist by any means but I believe I was doing some collecting the last time I played.

Go with Lock-on Stratos. Then again, maybe I should do that.
Is it that friggen one in the room where you
beat shadow Link?
I swear i looked for hours in my second and third plays before i finally remembered it. it was that one and the forest temple key hidden in the tree trunk in the first room (which you don't need until the last few rooms)
That would be the one. God of War has a lot of platforming near the end of the game that I can't stand doing either. Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts 2. Honestly, that's like a huge waste of time there. Oh, I just know there is something on both FF7 and FF8 that I can't stand doing, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Congrats on your fight. I might try learning Muay Thai one day. As long as I don't have to kick any trees. :)

I want snow. I think it's suppose to snow Friday, but I don't think we're getting anything major... (I highly doubt any of this stuff sticks)

One thing I remember when I first started reading Bleach was that it started off slow. As far as pacing goes, I don't recall there being any pacing issues. You probably have to go back and read it from the very beginning.

Agreed. Psyren definately deserves an anime. I'd love to see some of these abilities animated, and then there's that fight between Grana and Miroku. Anyway, I finally got to read chapter 143 and it was pretty good considering the rush that's on it. Ageha's form is epic. Hard to say if I like that over Ichigo's last transformation though. Chapter 145 spoilers are out
LASTã??CALLï¼?ã??â?A Connected World â? The battle has ended, and Ageha---!? Ageha awakes in a bed in a weird space... Ageha: Eh... Why am I in a place like this...? Ageha sits on the bed... Ageha: --- Ahh I see... I used too much strength... I died, didn't I... The public telephone... Ageha: Who is it...? #07: ((Finally...! You finally answered the phone, Yoshina Ageha...)) Ageha: .......! This voice, it couldn't be...!! #07...!? #07: ((I was always waiting for a chance to talk to you again...)) ((Now... You and I have transcended the time dimensions of different worlds, but remain connected...)) Ageha: You were alive...!! Ageha: Is everyone alright!? ((I am sure that was the final wills of they who stood at the apex of this planet, even for a moment)) ((The membrane of uroboros disppeared from the sky---)) Miroku and Grana disappear... Everyone in the future looks up at the sky... #07: Light shines upon the world---... Kyle: The WISE and all the monsters on the surface have all disappeared... We can begin a new life on the surface. This world will continue and keep on going like this... Ageha! Ageha: Kyle!! Kyle: Everyone's fine... So it's alright... Kyle: ---... We're all alright Ageha: That's great...!! Kyle: Furthermore, although Miroku's plan to create new life failed, the fragments of life that spread across the land at that time, somehow has created a good barrier for us Kyle: It's a pity I can't show Ageha how the surface looks like right now Ageha: ......? #07: ((Come, that is all now, there is no time)) ((You too, should already... Return to the other world)) Ageha: Eh.... #07: ((There are people who are waiting for your return)) ((There is a world that you see with your own two eyes)) Ageha: But, even if I want to return... I'm dead so...! #07: ((You're still alive, Yoshina Ageha)) ((But the damage to your brain was so great that you fell into a deep sleep)) ((Your wounds have already healed...)) ((But the sleep was so deep that you cannot wake on your own)) Sister: That's why I said we'd make you wake up! Everyone is gathered here for you!! Ageha: Aneki!!? Fredrica: Here we go, heave ho!!! #07: ((Even if this is the final farewell)) ((We are still connected, Yoshina Ageha)) The surface which has had its green-ness revived... Everyone who had gathered... Everyone in the future: JUST WAKE UP ALREADY, AGEHAA!!! Ageha: !! Ageha wakes up... In the hospital room is everyone in the present time... Kyle: Ageha----!!! Someone: Yoshina!! Ageha: Everyone... Why are you here...? Elmore: I foresaw that you would wake today Amamiya embraces him... Amamiya: Thank goodness...!! Yoshina...!! Sister: Thank Amamiya-chan... She was waiting by your side for a whole half year Amamiya: I can't live without you, so... Please, I beg you... Don't go anywhere...!! Ageha: ---... Sorry. I'm home [In the time that I was asleep for half a year] [The world began its orbital adjustment] [Amagi Miroku has been taken as dead] [ "We don't know what the future holds"... he said] [Kabuto, who missed hitting the lottery when it was a sure-win lottery, mutters dejectedly] [Everyone is changing slowly... As they return to the world as it once was] [That's good---....] [I myself do not know if the flow of time where I am now is right or not] [But there is something---] [I have to do---] Ageha: --- Shall we go? Amamiya: Yeah Kagetora: ...... Is it really alright? Letting the two of them go Matsuri: It's alright Kagetora: But that means... Time Parlour... Or something like that, isn't it? Matsuri: It's alright Matsuri: No matter what fate holds, one can slice it open and change it oneself. It is those kids that understand that the best Matsuri?: Yoshina thought to himself 'I want to protect'... He never wavered on that Ageha and Amamiya enter... Researcher: You guys...!! In front of #07's door... Ageha? Matsuri?: Things like the correct flow of time... They don't exist. Fate... Is something you decide on your own The door opens... Ageha and #07 in the present face each other... Ageha: I've come to save you... #07, although you do not know about us yet... Ageha: We are connected--- Us, and you in the distant, distant future. So, this is a little early, but... We've come for you #07 smiles... Ageha: Let's go... Together The end... JC volume 14 releasing on 3rd Dec! Volume 15 in Feb, final volume 16 in march
The final chapter... To be honest though, even with the rushed ending I still enjoyed this series. From beginning to end I was entertained. I never had much of a complaint for anything the mangaka was writing. If you ask me I think he/she told a better story than your more famous mangaka's that're currently running. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect (then again, for me it was perfect) and the story's not exactly original (what is?). It takes elements from quite a few other series and does it better. If this series do get animated though I hope it's done by a studio that don't have pierrot in it's name.

Been a while since I've created a topic. Escorting: Metal Gear Solid 2/3 Namely MGS2. Escorting E.E is a load of BS. Getting to her is not the issue. Swimming back to the beginning of the strut is where the problem lies. She can't swim by herself nor can she hold her breath as long. Make matters worst is that there are mines in the water and it's easy to get lost in this hellhole of a maze. There've been a couple of times when I was right by the exit and didn't even know it. I will never play this game again, especially knowing that you don't really get much of anything for beating the game on normal, or rather I don't have the patience to continuously escort that heiffer through that crap again and again. MGS3 is nowhere near as bad as MGS2 is when it comes to escorting but, I still just hate the thought of having to escort (babysit) people. Water levels I just play horribly for some reason when water is involved. Zelda: OoT's water temple is not bad to cause me to play stupid, it's just extremely tedious. It takes me almost an hour to find 1 key that I would need when I should've found it sooner than that. But whatever. Ninja Gaiden 2 has quite a few water stages where I just play stupidly on. Fighting the water dragon boss is the main culprit. I've watched videos of people playing it and it looks so simple to beat that thing but I have the hardest of times fighting that thing because Ryu would jump in the water when I don't try to... . And then the flying fish/worm boss itself is just ridiculous. Chapter 9 is terrible especially when you reach the water area where you have to fight off all these missles coming your way. (BULL####) This is all on path of the mentor difficulty by the way. That's it for now.

I haven't felt like reading manga's this week. Trying to keep a clear head (in a strange way.... playing games is just as bad lol) so I can focus on final exams and projects, but I do still read spoilers.
Source: 2ch, MH Credits: 3zudysQb0, saladesu Verification: pending
CALLï¼?ï¼?ï¼?ï¼?ã??â?Live â? A blow Fired at Mithra!! The battle now Heralds the end--- Rewinding to a little before the events of the previous chapters ending... Ageha attacks Mithra... Mithra blocks and jumps away... Ageha: This is the end Agehahas blood coming out of his nose... Matsuri: Yoshina...!! Kagetora: You were so reckless!! Ageha: (It's alright. With this---...) Amamiya: Yoshina!!! Ageha: Stay away, Amamiya... Amamiya: No!! Why does Yoshina always have to play the role of the tortured one...!! I'm here with you... I won't leave you again...!! Miroku: The Uroboros plan is over... My ambitions, too, look like they will have to take a detour Ageha: The path you were walking was a dead end to begin with... Miroku: ... Perhaps Miroku: We bungled a big plan... Let's start again from square one, for the sake of the construction of a new world for psychicers... Ageha: Do you still... Plan to walk the path of destruction... Miroku: I do not know what will happen. But this world is ostensibly good (TN: literally, he said it looks like Buddha's face), yet it is teeming with filth... It is a world filled with prejudice against those who are special Ageha: What you are saying now, and the things you have done up till now, I am unable to forgive either of them Miroku: ... I figured as much. Since you have seen everything Miroku: One day you will know the answer. If at that time you are still alive, I wonder how the path I walk upon will look like in your eyes... Ageha: Wa... it...!! Amamiya: Yoshina...!!! Miroku: See for yourself. And one day... Let us meet here again. If you wish to settle this completely with me... Live Miroku, Grana, Shiner... Miroku: Live, and see this world for yourself Miroku: Yoshina Ageha Kabuto: O, Oh no!! Everyone!! We have to get away from here quick or we're gonna be in some serious trouble!! Looking at Miroku and gang... Kabuto: (Crap!! These guys are super dangerous too) Kagetora: What is it, Kirisaki, out with it!!! A roaring sound... Amamiya: !!!? Kabuto: The sky is glowing pure white!! This entire stretch...!! Something is going to descend upon it...!! An incessant rain of missles... Miroku: A good time to quit. <<Everyone, retreat!!!>> Miroku: This is a fresh start... Because it will begin again Grana: Kukuku that's great, it wasn't my idea of a nice story anyway Grana?: There are bound to be people who won't agree with us, but we should just do as we see fit. In the first place, that Uroboros plan, if you asked me, was just a naive dream Miroku: Going around the world, gathering comrades, building a country for people with special powers. Even if it is just a small step... We will begin from the first blade of grass Grana: ... I see Around the big explosion... The group of them are running away... Behind Kagetora... Ageha... Ageha: "The promised tears... And Mithra... Both of them have disappeared from this world---... Ageha: (This is enough, #07, with this---...) The group appear to have reached a safe region... Someone: What about those guys? Someone else: I wonder... Matsuri: We don't know our own futures from here on out Kagetora: Yoshina... Can you move? Ageha is sitting and leaning against a tree... Ageha: Amamiya... Amamiya: Shh, be still, your wounds are really deep...!! Ageha: Is it... Over...? It's over, right...? Amamiya embraces Ageha... Ageha shuts his eyes silently... Amamiya: Yes, we changed fate Ageha: I see... I... Se... (That's gre---...) Amamiya: Yoshina!! Amamiya cries as she calls his name... Ageha: (It's really great that I managed to protect her) Amamiya: Yoshina...!!! He changed the fate of the world... And then, Ageha--- Next issue, the world proceeds onto a new path At that time, what about Ageha and the rest!?

I'm still waiting to read chapter 143, but still, it sucks that this series is ending like this because of cancellation. If only the folks in Japan gave this series a chance (I'm not trying to jump the gun and say that Ageha's kicked the bucket yet) I think the author would've given us a more suitable ending to Mithra. I think this would be a hit in America, but then again I suppose everyone likes obnoxious leading characters far too much these days.

"James is gonna send me anthrax". I was almost done there. That's funny. "Futer" killed me. I'm still crackin up as I type this in tears. I couldn't make it past Boo answering that question.

Final Exam is next Monday, Tuesday (final project for sustainable design is also due) and then a final project (along with presentation) is due the monday following this monday coming up, so I've been quite the busy-bee. I'll just be happy when all of this is finally over. I still tried to post at least once or twice here but sometimes that just don't happen.

So I'm watching this Law & Order: SVU marathon... I don't know how to spell her first name (Hargitay) but Olivia (we'll call her that for now) is my new celeb crush. (Her and Catherine Bell)

Thought I'd bring this back up since I just started watching this again. Finished watching the 2nd episode... Looking back at my comment about Blackstar, I had to have been smoking or something because I hate that boy. Tsubaki should just drop him. Anyway, I'm watching this in english and his voice is not what I was expecting either.

I don't think Psyren can be wrapped up in such a short amount of time, at least not without it feeling rushed.

I just ate so I'm good. Grilled chicken pita = num yummy

Honestly, I never really cared for Bleach in the early days. It had its moments, but it really didn't pick up for me until Byakuya and Renji showed up. I guess that's why I'm not feeling these chapters because of that feel of the earlier chapters and the fact that I'm not getting my answers.

Hard to believe I've been in college for 2 years now and I graduate on the 13th of December... This quarter went by fast but these 2 remaining weeks are gonna take forever to get through. I just want this stuff to be over with so I can be done with this school cause I'm not going back. I'll go someone else to get my bachelors.
So you wouldn't be interested in stuff like The Conduit 2, Silent Hill or even Red Steel 2? When I think about it, there aren't very many hack and slack type games on Wii that I know of. I imagine your best bet for that type of game would actually be the WiiWare or Virtual Console services. I'm not even really sure what hack and slash games there are on PS3 and Xbox 360, come to think of it. The genre doesn't seem as overcrowded as it once was. I still remember trying to beat Fighting Force on the original PlayStation with my sister. Heh. Lame, I know.
Red Steel 2 maybe. Conduit 2 not sure. Silent Hill no. Hack n slash = action adventure... It's just I have a mean habit of saying hack n slash since of my favorite games are hacking and slashing. (Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, God of War) And then there's Metal Gear and Uncharted as well as rpg's (when I'm not being picky about what rpg it is).

I'm assuming that I'm that remaining .1% that don't. I don't play computer/internet games. In any case, when I'm not here I'm usually either sleep because I go to ITT and my classes are in the evening (That's been the case for the last 2 years anyway), or I'm playing the DS (would be the ps2 if it were working) and that's been for the past month. But for the most part I'm mainly sleep. Much like Sangome, I try to find some anime to watch but I hardly have interest in them. I still watch my favorites, and there's the occassion of watching Bleach, but there's not much around for me.
