Hmm... An action chapter. While I do like my action I prefer to see stuff like this in motion. (Someone... well not just anyone, hurry up and animate this already) When it's like this it usually feels as if the chapter ended too quickly or the chapter itself don't really do much for me and at this moment it's a mixture of both. Although, the artwork is as great as ever.

Tentacle, you're so cruel for that one. Here I am thinking I was gonna see a nice shootout only to see something like that. I did chuckle though lol. I should really check out Jubei-Chan 2 some day considering how I'm hearing it's less comedic this time around and more action oriented. I'm actually on the fence about this one. Considering the last Spider-Man game I've played was Ultimate Spider-Man. All the Spider-Man games after it just looked so bland and it just turned me away from Spider-Man altogether. I still like the character but as far as games go, don't know. I guess if another company [strike]Rocksteady[/strike] got their hands on it I'd be more interested. From some of the videos I've seen of the game it does look pretty good... (graphic standpoint)

I suppose so . 3:41am. I did happen to get some sleep though. Went to sleep about 9, and woke up about 1-ish. That's gonna change though since I start classes up again this Monday, although I could probably still hang late since my classes start in the evening.

[/b] [/quote] I can be rather fickle with my games but I do play RPG's but being in school (especially last quarter) I've been trying to dodge them at the moment. Final Fantasy 7 and Dragon Quest 8 have been calling my name and I've been tempted to play them as well. I play FPS's but I tend to only play them for single player and the ones I usually play are Goldeneyey007 (64), Perfect Dark and the Halo games. Fighting games used to be my passion but I tend to only play the Street Fighter and Guilty Gear series now. But you can mainly catch me playing games like Devil May Cry and God of War. I try to get those type of games more often with me being in class and with all the stress that builds up over the course. Those type of games tend to relieve stress/anger for me (along with Dynasty Warriors) If you have Nicktoons then DBZKai wouldn't be all that new, but yes. As for new episodes, all lies. I've only watched up to where Goku arrived on Namek (I didn't like it) and it's pretty much the same thing except updated colors and filler has been removed.

Ghost in the Shell eh. Big fan of the series (it's my #1) but I hear the game itself was between below average to average. I think you're the first person I heard to say something positive about it lol. I think I've heard of Oni before. I gotta read about it someday. Mr. Popo is blue because he's been edited on CW. Apparently they started something called Toonzai... I don't know much about it outside of it being equivalent to 4Kids. (They're suppose to air more anime and cartoons on there... "coughs" I will not be watching anything on that channel) I don't have any issues with edits, but that's ridiculous (albeit a bit funny) Azumanga something... Never watched it either, but that's not my type of series.

Nope, all I can really suggest is count 4 weeks from when Oda took his break.. I don't remember.. I think this is the 2nd week. The wait hasn't really bothered me since I've been looking for new stuff. [size=1][strike]Especially because I'm getting fed up with the holy trinity[/strike][/size]

I've been debating on whether I want to do this thread or not. Kind of thought there'd be a thread on this a long time ago. Considering how much of a fan I am of fights (a story can be really bad, but if it has some great fights I wouldn't care) and I just know how much we all love the "favorite" topics I figured might as well get one of these rolling as well. Instead of giving a list I'll just come out and say that almost everything I used to listen to back in the 90's was rap and comparing that to now, yeah, my taste has changed pretty drastically. I hardly listen to rap anymore and if I do listen to rap, it's mainly for either reminiscing or relieving anger. Back then I used to own quite a few albums ranging from Bone Thugs N Harmony (bout the only rap group I'd listen to on a regular basis nowadays) to Eminem, while now I don't own any cd's at all. Ever since I've gotten my hands on an mp3 player along with discovering some places to get music from I just haven't felt like spending money on cd's. (I know I should support the artists and whatnot but until they kill off downloading I'm gonna continue to be as cheap as possible) Now as far as what I listen to now, heh, mainly gospel (I know, drastic change, right? =D), r&b, and Michael Jackson. I suppose you can say I'm slowly creeping in to rock but that's only Evanescence and Nickelback (bout 3 songs anyway).

So my little 2 week vacation comes to an end Monday, where I start my final quarter and then I graduate. I think I'm gonna try to aim for a couple more A's, although, it's going to be rather difficulty seeing how my Monday class is Microeconomics and there's 2 things wrong with that. 1.) I tend to be rather average when it comes to general education classes.. (seriously. All my grades were C+'s in those classes except for Problem Solving which I got a B+) 2.) I'm nowhere near business material nor do I really care about it. Jumping back and forth thinking about what games I want to buy for my ps2... (I really need to upgrade to a ps3 someday)

I think that is someone who is thinking way too much into it, although if Kubo is going down that road then my hat's off to him. But still, I'm not gonna give Kubo credit on that one considering he don't plan ahead.

Can't say I'm really a fan of FPS, or rather, a big fan of them anyway. I play them, but the only reason I play them is for the single player campaign. Black Ops have caught my eye a couple of times mainly with the graphics, but other than that, meh. [size=1]I don't think I'll really have the fun of playing another FPS I once had when I was playing Goldeneye007 and Perfect Dark though. Halo is up there in terms of the single player campaign, as well as Gears of War, but I haven't played anything else.. Nothing really struck out at me.[/size]

When DBZ came to Toonami that was all I'd watch, but before then I was watching DBZ before it came to Toonami. I think it was on Fox Kids or UPN or something like that. [u]Reading[/u] [b]Claymore[/b] - The newest addition to my low backlog of manga. I started reading this last night and I'm already on chapter 50. My goodness, my only regret is not coming to this series earlier than I should've. Initially I had a problem coming into the series because I can't stand characters like Raki, and hearing that he gets in the way really caused me to keep away, but because I was looking for something new I decided to cave in and give it a try and I am so glad that I did. These are some of the best female characters I can ever ask for since I finished reading Fullmetal Alchemist. I like seeing strong female characters. You have no idea how sick and tired I am of seeing damsels or characters that dresses trashy. I can't say who my favorite is at the moment, but this is definately a welcomed refresher here. Definately has the potential to become my overall favorite manga. [b]Psyren[/b] - Considering that it follows the same formula that the big 3 goes by I'm rather fond of Psyren. I think it was chapter 132 (the one with Amamiya vs Shiner), it seemed to have hit a weak point, but it seems like it's picking up again. I'm also re-reading it as well and it still feels as strong as ever. [b]Bleach and Naruto[/b] - To be frank, the only reason I'm still reading Bleach is because I'm still anticipating bankai's, but I don't know if I'm willing to hold on anymore because of that. I'm also fond of samurai's so I'm a little bias there as well, otherwise I would've been and dropped Bleach... (I am normally not too forgiving when it comes to anime/manga/games) I'm an action maniac, but the constant battles in Bleach has been pushing my limits and out of only 2 new bankai's... Yeah, I'm not pleased one bit. As for Naruto I've dropped it so many times already and the one thing that keeps me coming back is the fights and the villains, and in a sense I want to see how some of this'll turn out. But other than that, I'm becoming rather bored with everything Kubo and Kishi has given despite having some rather success chapters for the last couple of weeks. And then I'm debating on whether I want to try reading D-Grayman as well as Code Breaker.

Allamorph, Raiha, you two are some geniuses. I just wish a lot more could've been said to convince me to read Claymore earlier than now. I'm only on chapter 12, but the last 5 (I think) chapters were hawwwt. Claire is great. I'm still on the fence about Raki though. I kept tossing this aside because of what I'm hearing (and now seeing) about Raki and then I'm not really a fan of the medieval times (which is also keeping me away from Berserk). Honestly, I'm not even a fan of big swords, but considering how great a character Claire has been so far and how she fights I can't help but appreciate this series. This is definately something I needed lately because the big 3 aren't doing much of anything and I'm bout ready to drop them, especially with the stuff I'm seeing now with recent spoilers (can't include One Piece in that though, but still, I'm ready to drop that as well) We need more discussions here... Edit: Wow... Teresa. Edit 2: I guess one can say that I'm practically hooked now. These ladies are the best I've seen since Fullmetal Alchemist. Ophelia (sp? I think that's her name) reminds me of Kenpachi/Nnoitra in some ways.

Yeah, it certainly seems like we're not going to get a bankai... The one thing that keeps me coming back to Bleach is the anticipation of bankai's. Kubo's doing a nice job in keeping them in secret, but I'll tell you right now, Kubo's gonna have to really impress me with the rest of the chapters leading up to Aizen's defeat. Meaning, if I can't get my bankai then I want answers, and I mean everything; ranging from Aizen to Isshin. If I don't get that I'm done (I don't want partial crap either. I want it all), whether bankai's are revealed next arc or not. I won't give a ####.

Definately looking forward to the chapter. It feels like it's been ages since I got into Psyren and I still can't really come up with a full list of favorite characters.

HAH, I would've never came back to Naruto had it been for a certain someone. "coughs" Though, I can't disagree because that would be just a bunch of BS. So sad, both Bleach and Naruto had some of their strongest chapters in the last 2 weeks and now they're on the verge of being dropped.

He says he didn't expect that Naruto was worth so much. Konan says hostilely, "Because he is the light, and holds the flower of hope for everyone." Madara: "The fact that you are still wearing those clothes (Akatsuki uniform) despite fighting me tells me that you still cling to Akatsuki." Konan: "Akatsuki was created by Yahiko, the red clouds on their uniform symbolise the rain of blood that fell during war in Amegakure, and just because you came aboard Akatsuki, it doesn't make it yours - it's our symbol of justice" Konan continues: "The Rinnegan was bestowed upon Nagato of Amegakure, it is not yours, but his eyes are this country's, and this village's treasure" Madara lets Konan's paper shuriken pass through his body, "This will be the end, so I'll tell you" "The one who induced Yahiko to set up the Akatsuki was me. The one who gave Nagato the Rinnegan was also me. That's why it's only right to ask for them to be returned to me" The two begin their battle as Konan says that if Madara were to get his hands on it, all sorts of things would happen. Konan doesn't let hi materialised body escape by attacking with a large number of paper attacks. Madara notices that she has something planned and decides to take her on, trying to suck Konan up when he has a chance. However Konan has mixed some exploding tags among the paper, intending to kill the both of them. -flashback starts- When Akatsuki was founded? Konan reports to Yahiko that their members have been defeated. Yahiko and Nagato are both injured and bandaged. There are numerous other minor members present apart from Yahiko, Nagato and Konan. Nagato says that he will go out to recce in the afternoon, but Yahiko says "I'll go, so rest, don't strain yourself" He continues, "Nagato is pivotal to Akatsuki and is the man who will change the world. So just give all your worries to Nagato" Konan: "The same goes for you, everyone loves you and thus follows you, that is most important, just like with Nagato" A while later, Yahiko responds "He is the man who will become the bridge to peace. My role is to become a pillar of support to that bridge" Yahiko murmurs, "This country is still crying, and I now want to save this country which I once hated for always crying, that's how I feel deep down. I just can't leave this country alone because it's a crybaby just like I was," and he leaves. Konan, Nagato and the other members see him off, Nagato says, "The one who will be the bridge to peace is him, his very purpose will form the bridge" "We'll believe in Yahiko, let's go everyone!" he commands, before following after Yahiko. The flashback ends with Konan's monologue of determination "I will become the pillar of support to the two bridges formed by Yahiko and Nagato" The exploded paper and cloth are scattered about. We see a little of Madara's face as his mask has broken. He has also lost his right arm. He says to Konan who is right before him, seemingly not with as many injuries, "I underestimated you, after all you were also once a member of Akatsuki." "You intended to explode the both of us, but thanks to the fact that I sucked in a little of the explosion, both of us are safe" In response to Madara's question if she's exhausted her secret plans, Konan says that she has a question for Madara. "Do you know why you were betrayed by us?" Madara: Who knows? Konan uses secret arts as she yells "You are darkness, a flower can only wilt in a world without light!" The lake? sea? all becomes paper, and spreads just like the Red Sea did for Moses, and she tries to drop Madara into it... next chapter! A secret art to protect Nagato... Seal him into a sea of paper!![/spoiler] Hmm... I'll wait for the chapter but it also looks like I've underestimated Konan as well. But forget about that... How did Madara give Nagato the Rinnegan? That's rather fishy. Edit: [img]http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/98/100908215729.jpg[/img] Hot fudge cakes. I totally underestimated Konan. I didn't think she'd be capable of doing attacks that damaging against someone who can have attacks go through the body.

I'll reserve judgment until the chapter is out, but at the moment I am disappointed. I don't want to see more evolutions. I want to see bankai.
