I really liked the latest chapter. While I'm not entirely convinced that the main villain is stronger than Aizen, I am convinced that they are a legitimate threat, at least far more of a threat than Ginjo and the fullbringers. I'm also curious as to what kind of role will Ryuuken play in this as well considering he don't seem fond of shinigami's. Speaking of Ryuuken, I'm curious how he measure's up to some of these newer quincies. And then there's Kira. I'm not going to jump the gun and say he's dead because there's a squad of healers still wandering about, but if he is actually dead then Kubo deserves a pat on the back for actually killing off a known character. Looking forward to the next chapter and I'm also looking forward to those two new pointless characters getting killed off (I know that'll probably be wishful thinking) As with my last post, I'm still reading the Hueco Mundo chapters. I'm on the Ichigo vs Ulquiorra fight. Speaking of Ichigo, I'm kinda shocked I never really paid attention to it back then. Ichigo's attitude during both the Grimmjow and Ulquiorra fights, he had that attitude of "I must/will win no matter what", but when he got to Aizen all of that diminished. Man that guy was such a frail character.

Time to get part 2 of the sets of matches between Mike Ross and Combofiend in Marvel vs Capcom 3

So Izanami is a never-ending loop of Tsukuyomi? At least that's what I'm getting from it. As much as I like Itachi, I really wasn't feeling this fight, and while I don't think this is the end of Kabuto, I am hoping he's done for. I'd much rather see the 5 Kages fight Madara at the moment.

Many people loved Arkham Asylum, but I'm one of those few oddballs that never cared for it. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game by any means. The stealth part of it was spot on, and the combat portion was good for the most part, but for me, someone who comes off of playing games like Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden and God of War, Arkham Asylum just felt like it was lacking in comparison. I could never explain what that "something" is that it's lacking, but I just know it made me not really care for the rest of the game even though I did beat it. Now Arkham City blows its predecessor out of the water. While I never finished the game, I hear that it has a new game + as well (something else that AA is lacking), and then, playing as Batman just made me feel like I'm that dude you don't want to mess with. Anyway, my brother-in-law got back to the U.S. about 3 days ago, and today we ran a set in Super Street Fighter 4: AE 2012 (about up to 10-15). Out of that, I won about 4 (yeah, I'm still pretty bad at the game). The characters I ended up winning with was Cody, Cammy, and Evil Ryu (2, 1, 1). And because I won with those 3 characters I decided they are going to be my primary and secondary characters. I actually put in a lot of time with Cody so I can see some of that work is actually paying off now, granted I still don't really FADC all that well in the midst of matches, nor do I tech throws (I'm terrible at that), and that's what caused me to lose a lot of my games. Cammy on the otherhand, I never really used played with her in an actual match, but her frame traps are something else, and she's a lot of fun. Evil Ryu, I don't know, I gotta have a shoto character, and besides, I like his moveset. I murdered my brother-in-law's Makoto with him. Other characters I tried using were Ryu, Akuma, Yun, Yang, Guy, Juri, Ibuki, Abel, and C.Viper. I see potential in my C.Viper, Yang and Juri, but the other characters, I have no hope, at least not on a d-pad lol. I also started playing Asura's Wrath yesterday. It's definately over-the-top, and while I don't mind QTE's I wish Capcom did somethings a little differently; mainly give us more opportunities to play as Asura, but for the most part I got this game simply because I was in need of some serious anger management, and this game was really curing that, but like I said, if there were more opportunities to play as Asura, say like God of War or Devil May Cry, this game could've been a instant favorite. Now I'm thinking about buying a PS2 again (Gave my old and busted up ps2 to my sister-in-law) because I'm in the mood for some JRPG's and the only JRPG's I want to play right now are the Shin Megami Tensei games, and since Atlus don't seem to be making any HD remakes anytime soon, this is the only solution I can think of. Edit: Once again, my brother-in-law and I played quite a few rounds of SSF4:AE today, and I got bodied, and quite frankly, I'm furious. I don't know if he found a way to do unblockables, or if I wasn't holding down + back, but some reason I wasn't blocking good at all. Execution errors out the wazoo which wouldn't let me do my Ultra's, poor attempts at tic-throws. The only thing I got good at this time was anti-airing and even that wasn't all that successful. My air-to-air suck too. Anyway, I decided to take a break from the fighting games for a little bit, at least until I come back from EVO. In the meantime, I finally got my hands on a PS2 again along with some of the Shin Megami Tensei games. Persona 3: FES, Persona 4, and Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1. I'll probably start playing one of those soon, and then I have Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga 2 coming in the mail. I just hope I don't get burned out on these RPG's again since it's been a long time since I've played a JRPG.

I'm currently watching One Piece. Just getting to the Little Garden episodes. Gotta say I definately hate Luffy, but I respect his dedication to his crew. And then I also hate Usopp. And then we have filler which is awful as well.

I could've done with Ayon and the trio, but other than that I thought it was a pretty good chapter. Unfortunately, I don't have much to contribute to any form of discussion other than Ichigo as a main character and I think I went down this road once before as well. However, I am re-reading from the final fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow to this point. Eventually I'll get to a point to where I'd read from the very beginning.

Thanks for the input T.O.P., I think they had planned to be at a bigger venue or they didn't plan to have so many people appearing, but now it costs (already paid. I don't mind paying $10 to witness this event). Now I'm just trying to figure out what hotel to stay at. Caesar's really pricy, especially if I plan to stay a week. Hell, even for 4 days it comes out to $1000+

Holy ####, the latest episode was amazing, at least for me anyway. So much fighting, fluid animation. The 1-on-1 part to see who won the 2nd round, what happened? I didn't see it all that clear even though it was replayed twice (? thrice?). This is probably the best thing on tv I've seen in a while. Amon has bad## written all over him now, especially now that I figured out who he reminds me of. Dr. Doom (this is mainly because I've been playing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3) And don't worry, Sangome. I'm not exactly the biggest supporter of the parent series either. The way I view A:TLA now is that it's a good series with epic fights, but terrible characters. And while they annoyed me during my 1st viewing, it wasn't until my 2nd viewing where it started to affect how I felt about the series in general. Now I can only watch the last 2 episodes of Book 1, select few episodes of Book 2, and majority of Book 3 (Can't watch the first 2 episodes, and then that episode where they watch a play of themselves)

Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition 2012 I just tried going through Ibuki's and Cammy's trial. For Ibuki I made it all the way to trial 21, and for Cammy, only trial 11. For the most part Ibuki seems like a rather easy character to learn, but I hear she's very execution heavy. The same goes for Cammy. Both characters seem like a lot of fun, especially Ibuki. In any case, my brother-in-law will be back in the states within the next couple of weeks and I figured now would be a good time to start putting in more time for these 2 characters (along with Makoto and probably C.Viper).

I'm going to Vegas come July. It'll be my first time going. I'll be there for a week (3rd thru 9th). For the most part I'm there for this fighting game tournament (EVO) that'll take place from the 6th-8th, but the 3rd-5th I'm there sight seeing and whatnot. So far I've been told that I'll need some good walking shoes and a bottle of water... (Then again, I've experienced Arizonia so I think I can handle Vegas in terms of temps) Anyway, anyone ever been there? Any MUST "go to" spots? Should I beware of anything? Boo, your avatar is too, nvm. Who is she?

Considering now that I am a proud owner of the DMC HD Collection, I pretty much have what I want, and then I'm still debating on if I want to buy the MGS HD Collection or not. Anyway, if there was a series you'd like re-released in HD or updated (if you will) what series would that be? Shenmue. Mainly because I don't have a Dreamcast anymore and this game is just beyond awesome. I think there's a rumor floating around somewhere that it's being done, or it's actually completed... (I think I read it at 1up) Shin Megami Tensei. The only game I actually played in the series was Nocturne, and that was only about 10 minutes - 1 hour of it. I don't have a ps2 anymore and I've pretty much missed out on the series.

Man, I still need to finish Uncharted 1 since I've never even begun to play Uncharted 2 (Don't get me started on 3 since I haven't even opened it yet). CURSE YOU FIGHTING GAMES!!!! Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition to be exact. Despite the mindless fun I was having with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (even though they are 2 different games), I need to learn how to FADC properly and consistently dagflammit. I'm back to trying to learn Guy, too. He's too fun of a character even though you have to put in a lot of work to be successful with him. Also, I'm really curious about Dragon's Dogma along with The Witcher 2, with the latter on the Xbox 360 now. Considering I couldn't really get into Skyrim (I don't know what's wrong with me, but "shrugs" whatever) and they both look similar to that game in terms of setting (I really hate these kind of time periods) but Dragon's Dogma looks like it has that style of combat that I like about Devil May Cry series (The same guy is behind it afterall), and The Witcher 2 I'm still on the fence about. Have anyone tried The Witcher 2 yet? Kinda thought there'd be more talk about both.

Probably the best chapter I've read since this arc began, and it's messed up since nothing happened. While this is not the answers I was looking for, quite frankly, I was under the impression that Ryuken was the last quincy, but this chapter is definately a step in the right direction in terms of providing more story and reveals. I also hope more is revealed next week. This new main villain looks like a real threat, in terms of creepiness, but I'd really like to see this guy in action (I'm not going to keep repeating myself about Aizen. I think everyone got the point on my opinion of him by now). It'd be great if he's able to go toe-to-toe with Yama-ji, though. Much like people were anxious to see someone wipe that smirk off of Aizen's face, I want to see someone put Yama-ji down for good. I'm sick of this guy getting away with his stupidity. With this being the last arc and whatnot, I'm kinda hoping that it don't get the Psyren treatment where it was rushed due to poor ratings. While I don't want this arc to drag out (I'm hearing 2-10 years for this arc alone), but I want it to flow nicely. Kubo's gotta finish strong here. I've accepted that Bleach is an action only series a long time ago, but it don't hurt to mix it up a bit here and there... Slow things down to reveal some answers, do 2 or 3 turn back the time (can't spell that p-word) for all I care because the original was so good in revealing answers and whatnot and I loathe flashbacks (Just so you know how good TBTP was in my eyes). Take time off to actually plan ahead or something as well. Can't keep having Kubo think of this stuff off the top of his dome. A lot of it was poor judgment. And then there are these people that do all this shipping crap. I, for one don't care if any of that stuff gets answered or not (I'd prefer if Kubo just let those folks wonder) But yeah, finish strong Kubo. You can do it!

Ultimate Spider-Man. Animation wise it's pretty good, but in terms of actual content I'm not liking it much. I don't mind Spidey working with a team, but riding motorcycles, why? And then it's just a lot of corny comedy as well, but "shrugs". I'm only watching it right now because I wanted to see what Venom was like.

This could be quite the fun thread, especially if fighting games are allowed (They're not Let's Plays, but they do provide commentary). Unfortunately, I don't have any of myself playing (I don't even have the equipment for all that jazz, but I do have quite a set of videos to share of high level play along with great comedy of people playing Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4, and Street Fighter x Tekken. Actual video starts around 1:17 mark since they advertise madcatz stuff in this stuff as well.

Still playing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. I'm going through Arcade mode just to see who I want to have as my 3rd member on the team consisting of Dante and Vergil. Right now, I just finished playing as Zero and I like the way he plays, and he may be my 3rd character. Brief update on UMvC3. Just finished playing as Trish, Felicia, and Morrigan, and much to my surprise I didn't expect them to be as fun as they are, especially Morrigan. I'm also considering using her on my main team now. I find her to be newbie friendly, and then she have some damaging combo's to boot. Trish is just full of mind games and I love it. Felicia is like an easier to use Wolverine (at least at the moment, since I'm teaching myself how to properly wave dash, air dash, triangle jump and what not).

Hmm.. Much like the Avatar: TLA, the animation is the draw point for me, but Korra is taking a while to get used to. I find her to be far better than Aang as a likeable character, but she's still on quite the annoying side. I suppose I can cut her some slack considering she's been cooped up, but her brash attitude is annoying. In any case, the little competition or sporting event they have going is very entertaining, but that's due to good animation and whatnot. I'm definately looking forward to how this play out.

Don't you hate it when you're hungry and as soon as you get your food, you drop it?

All this talk about Mass Effect 3 and I haven't even completed ME2 yet. Hopefully I can get to it soon, but these 2D fighting games have been taking up majority of my time. I haven't been playing anything lately, but I am getting ready to startup Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. While I don't participate in the tournaments, but I'd like to get a little bit more involved, or at the very least keep up with the FGC. My main team will be Dante, Vergil, and I'm on the fence about the 3rd character. I'm split between Magento, Doom, Wolverine, Trish, and C. Viper. I will also have 2 more teams; One with Dante and one with Vergil. I'm thinking about Dante, Magneto and Spencer for the Dante team, and then Vergil, Doom, and Wesker/Strider/Nova for team Vergil. Eventually, I will try out the majority of the cast of characters, but out of that cast there are a handful that I won't touch, but for the most part I think the cast is large enough for me to enjoy the game for quite some time. Like I said, I will eventually get to playing other games but these fighters are taking up my team especially since I'm learning them.

Meh, it's bad enough that Grimmjow's gonna make an appearance. I hope he don't have a 2nd form, although it wouldn't surprise me if he manage to get one since it's been 2 years now, but still, I'd probably be disappointed since, to me, that makes Halibel look even more pathetic. Anyway, Kubo's really pushing his luck with these chapters and my patience. Honestly, do people even care about fraccions, let alone the 5 female fraccions (not trying to sound sexist or anything)? To even see them get beaten to a pulp, to me is just a waste of time.
