1. That is nothing short of awesome. I can watch that all day, everyday. (Ok, probably not all day)
 2.

Ichigo's mask has changed fairly conspicuously, and given his knowledge of all things Hollow, Aizen's probably aware that the altered pattern represents a power upgrade.

This is perhaps my only problem with this speculation. Yes, Ichigo's mask changed. The thing is Aizen haven't seen Ichigo's mask until now. The only thing he really has to go on is a noticeable change in reiatsu. (I can't remember if he has cameras place throughout Las Noches though) Oh yeah and Ichigo's arrival of course. Gotta love those Bleach inconsistencies. >_>
 3.
Dolly Parton as Rangiku Danny DeVito as Hitsugaya (please oh please make this one happen) Jack Black as Kyoraku
LOL. Danny DeVito as Toushiro... I can't even picture him using a sword. And I guess if you really want to turn me away from a movie, Jack Black is a good choice. Dolly Parton. I can actually see that, especially if she still looks like a [strike]hawt cougar[/strike] [strike]MILF[/strike] normal person (?). To be honest, I completely forgot about her. I would've went into the porn realm and got one of them busty girls for Rangiku. (Heck, Nell and Halibel too) Edit: Saw an updated picture of Mrs. Dolly... The hell was I thinking... "Dies of sickness"
 4. Yeah, um, they didn't learn with Dragonball Evolution.
 5.
This very concept frightens and disturbs me.
While I do agree with this, you definately don't want to be answering to Ace. He's not exactly the most sanest person out of us newer folk. Joking aside, I think you're the 4th oldie that's returned within this month. Wonder if that's foreshadowing for the rest of this year? As Ace stated, it's always good to get people here. New or old alike.
 6. After rereading the chapter and actually letting everything soak in, I have to agree that this was a pretty bad chapter. Guess the artwork had me completely whiffed lol. First the old geezer. Perhaps the biggest disappointing character in this series. (Even more disappointing than the 3 espada) Seriously, not only does he waste time letting his underlings go down while he prepares to try and sacrifice himself to take down Aizen, but this guy uses a level 96 Hadou... Sure that's a nice ditch for a last attack, but what the hell? Why go through all the sandbagging and why not use a high level Hadou right out of the gate? (I swear, if Hadou's 97-99 don't sacrifice the user and it turns out that Bakudo's 90-98 are actually good enough to contain such an explosion then that Old man is definately the biggest idiot in this series) Now Aizen. Of course I think he's lying about manipulating Ichigo. I mean, what are the chances of him knowing that Rukia would actually run into Ichigo? She could've ran into Tatsuki for all he know... (I think I would actually liked Tatsuki being the main character over Ichigo) If Aizen actually "knew" about Ichigo that would make me think he's actually trying to draw Isshin out. (And him being the only one to know about Isshin just wouldn't make sense to me) As great a character as Aizen is, he's pretty much turned into Light with all this "Just as I planned" stuff. Kind of makes me wonder if Kubo looked at Death Note before.
 7.
Sakura is pretty much back to where she was after the team first encountered Sasuke after the timeskip, nice to know any development she's gained has been negated. Back to perfecting your sandwich-no-jutsu and beer-summon jutsu then woman.
Did you really expect something different from her? Kishi's pretty terrible when it comes to female characters.
 8. Oh bulltalk, this chapter was just a tease in an attempt to answer questions.... I guess it answered one question though. Aizen does not have hollow powers.... (How the heck did he get so strong in the first place then?) Aizen even proved my point on Ichigo being an idiot too. Repeating myself again here, Kubo has some amazing talent when it comes to drawing.
That double panel where Ichigo appears in front of Aizen is great.
I think I will stop reading spoilers though, for sure. Tend to either give some false details (Aizen's arm being charred... Really? Looks perfectly fine to me. I think that was Yama's arm they showed) or kill certain moments/moods. Overall it's pretty much like One Piece and Naruto this week, not a bad chapter, but nothing great either.
 9. Roisin Murphy - Rama Lama Bang Bang. This is something I don't usually listen to. (Seriously, I'm one of those tough looking guys... [strike]Who puts on a big front and is really soft, and have a soft heart... I'm gonna go hide in a corner soon [/strike]) But after watching this performance on So You Think You Can Dance (I'm a fan of the show, especially auditions) that song became pretty catchy, and it get stuck in my head a lot.
 10. You know, I think I'm gonna stop reading spoilers.... (I used to didn't mind them. Still don't, but it does kill any and all shock value in those moments that're suppose to be shocking) I didn't think much of this chapter either. Pretty much like One Piece, I have nothing bad to really say outside of Kisame still being alive. I don't really have anything good to say about the chapter either. It was just ho-hum. (Not saying that's a bad thing, but most of the slow-down moments in Naruto are fairly boring for me.. "shrugs")
 11.
As for Aizen's most recent mindscrew with Ichigo, it too calls into question exactly how Aizen even knows about his fight with Ulquiorra given he was in FKT at that time.
Yeah, that's my main concern at the moment. I mean it's not like Aizen's a psychic, but one can assume that he put 2 and 2 together and figured out that Ichigo beat Ulquiorra since he is there with them. But then again that don't explain how Aizen knows about that deus ex transformation... I'm looking forward to hearing this explanation for sure.
 12.
So do you think Danzo will come back if I complain loudly enough?
Who knows.... I'm still waiting for Naruto to develop some type of common sense.
 13. 487 spoilers
-Madara says something to Sasuke about Itachi's eyes, but the early translation is utterly incomprehensible. -Kisame is supposedly alive thanks to something that Zetsu did. The idea seems to be that Zetsu used a clone to mimic Kisame, and that's what was killed. This has some precedent from the Rescue Gaara arc, but remember last week. Grain of salt. Kisame is also said to be in Lightning Country. -Killer Bee is in this chapter. He may have engaged Zetsu's other half. -Kabuto makes an appearance. Dun dun dun......
(Will remove tag when chapter is out) Err... I don't know whether I should be relieved or disappointed about Kisame. One point it feels like a cop out, like Kishi was being bombarded with hate mail about the way Kisame went out and just tacted on some type of human substitution thingy ang gave into fan demands and keep him alive, and on another, its like "yeah we finally get to see what he can really do". It's really conflicting, but at the same time I don't really care for Kisame's character as much as I used. I'm definately gonna need him to fight to his fullest or he'd be the most disappointing Akatsuki member yet.
 14. I know what you mean. It's very rare for me to have fantard moments, and the times I do have them is when something actually shocks/wows me.
Whitebeards arrival was wowing. Ace being Rogers son was shocking. Luffy being Dragons son was hilarious
. (had to throw that one in there) Yeah, nothing really shocks too much though. But for the most part, even though the forum I got that spoiler from always have spoilers that sounds wishy-washy, they usually come out to be confirmed. (I think they get there info from One Manga or something like that) Edit: Chapter being out now... I thought the chapter was fairly decent, or rather, I have nothing bad to say about the chapter (
outside of the whole Akainu still chasing Luffy
), but it didn't necessarily wow me like I thought it would either.
I thought Law's arrival would be bad$$$, but I guess after witnessing Whitebeards arrival, people are gonna have to make some really great appearances to actually give me that "bad###" pressence. (I expect Shanks and Dragon to give me that)
But yeah, for the most part nothing bad, but nothing great either.
 15. Spoilers for 578

Sengoku gets involved. Sengoku vs BB pirates. Sengoku seems to press the BB pirates Akainu is persistent when it comes to Luffy. Iva,Inazuma,Jimbei try to protect him. At the end,,law shows up.There's more to it but await a proper translation.I suck at it[Croc is mentioned,,so is Buggy & Jimbei talks about Aokoji freezing the ice or something]

More accurate

- Sengoku fight BB crew and he manage to stop them by himsefl. - Akainu advances towards Luffy. Inazuma and Ivankov stay back to protect him while Jinbei grabs Luffy and dives in the water, but Aokiji freezes the sea. -That's when Crocodile launches Jinbei and Luffy into the air. -Crocodile: "I won't let the Marines do as they wish." - Buggy catches them in the sky. - That moment a ship rises from the middle of the sea and Trafalga Law steps out of it. "I'll take those guys into custody."

Trafalga Law.... sque....
Damnit, I'm a man. I don't squee... >_>
It still kind of irritates me that Akainu and Aokiji are still after Luffy.
I mean don't these idiots see that they have a more dangerous guy to go after?
 16.
I was personally hoping to see Yun or Yang... this Hakan character is at best gross, and at worst an example of the most major design flaws that come out of Japan. :( -r2
There's a name I haven't seen in a long time... Those are the main 2 that I thought would be great in SF3, but I guess I was disappointed in there supers or something (I'm pretty shady lol) so I didn't put in the time to get to know there moves so I pretty much suck with them lol. I do agree though, Hakkan is definately the worst design I've seen in a SF game.
 17. That's just BS now. He's both Batman and Superman.... New spoilers... I think we get answers about Ichigo's progression. I was in a rush so I didn't get the chance to fully read them. Edit: 396 spoilers
\爺さんが自己犠牲の様な技 一刀かそう? It seems Yama sacrificed himself with his attack. (Single Stroke Cremation) 腕一本クロ焦げになりながら撃ったような事を愛染さんがかんがえて Aizen contemplates the attack as one of his arms is charred. いた所にイチゴの一撃が決まるが宝玉を身体に埋め込んだ Ichigo's attack connects, but Aizen has embedded the hyougoku in himself 愛染さんには一切きかない and is completely unaffected. 今までイチゴが戦闘してきた事を話はじめ He begins to talk about Ichigo's battles up till now. 例 GJとの戦闘で仮面をマスターし 4との戦闘で新しい力も目覚めたようだね The fight against GJ where he mastered his mask, and against Ulq where new powers we awakened. 黒崎苺~君は私の手のひらの上で踊らされていた事に~ Kurosaki Ichigo-kun, I've been manipulating you in the palm of my hand. ってな所で完です The end.

 18. Pretty much the usual sub vs dub stuff or "anime X" is best shown in it's originality. Now I don't have an issue with one expressing their opinion, but when crap like this comes up on a daily basis I begin to get irritated.
"For the better" is subjective. The best version of something is the original version, because that is what the product is. Not to say anyone can't like the replacement score of a dub but to call it factually better is impossible.

Oh, it's a blanket statement alrighty, but it's true (assuming we're speakin' the terms of fact, rather than opinion). If one hates the original...than they hate the original. Their opinion is based on that. Hating or liking the replacement score has no baring because it isn't the actual music of the series. You're supposed to be watching Japanese animation and the story all of the different components of the actual staff have put together to make their product.
And it's not like this guy does this every once in a while. It's pretty much an everyday thing, especially when topics like DBZ and Naruto comes up.
 19.
Depends on what your definition of "hardcore" would entail. Whenever I think of hardcore, I just think of someone with an intense love/dedication to whatever it is that they like...which can be both good and bad. Now, elitist fans, the ones that think their way of treating/thinking of the fandom is correct, and anyone else is an insipid moron? Yeah, they can go shove it. Or maybe the ones that are just obnoxious, and never seem to have a life outside of their chosen fandom [i.e. an anime fan that thinks Japan is TEH BESTEST COUNTREE EVAR, etc]? Then yeah, they're annoying, but also kinda sad.
BOTH! "coughs" Actually, those elitist fans are the ones I'm having issues with right now. Talking as if they just know any and everything. People should be so grateful I "woosah" a lot :animeswea
 20. Hardcore anime fans get on my nerves... I wonder who are worst, them or the hardcore video game fans? I get into it with both crowds fairly equally, although I do avoid (try to) most of the time
 21. Dragonball Z Kai heads to Nicktoons Can't say I'm much of a fan of the DB universe anymore. I mean I may reminisce about it here and there, but I really don't care for it now days after being exposed to other series. Don't get me wrong though, I'm glad more anime is coming to tv (although I'm not sure if people can get Nicktoons), but I really wish it was something else... "shrugs"
 22. I might be doing a bit of echoing here, sorry. First and foremost, I don't like Scar. His character, cool, but his look and his voice actor, no. How old is Scar supposed to be anyway? He looks and sounds old or something. I definately prefer the older version. Mustang, yes I laughed when he was confronting Scar, but I definately don't like how his role seems in this one. Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit here since this is what, like the 4-5 episode? He seems to be more comedic, like he's only there to be the focal point of comedy and the one to look after Ed and Al. I want that cool and calm demeanor back. Voice actors nailed it outside of Al's V/A. She's good, don't get me wrong, but I definately felt the emotion a lot more with Al's previous V/A (I never did know his name) whereas this one came off a little too soft.
I'm talking about the scene where Scar was about to kill Ed
. Other than that this was a pretty decent episode. I like the pacing, but I have to admit that right now I still prefer the older version compared to this one.
 23. I was browsing Right Stuf and Blockbusters and came across Death Note Relight .
See through the eyes of a shinigami... Light and L have battled to the bitter end over the Death Note - but what does the story look like from Ryuk's point of view? When rogue shinigami Ryuk deliberately drops his Death Note in the human world out of boredom, he has no idea how far the human who picks it up will take his newfound power. With the Death Note in hand, brilliant high school student Light Yagami vows to rid the world of evil, and when criminals begin dropping dead one by one, genius detective L steps in to track down the elusive killer known as Kira. An epic battle of wits pitting one brilliant mind against another unfolds - with the very future of humanity at stake! Ryuk's not bored anymore...
Seeing everything from Ryuk's POV has certainly aroused my curiousity. Is it a recap of the series that's been dumbed down to 130 minutes (260 cause of it being 2 dvd's) or has it been done over and we're just seeing it from Ryuk's perspective? I guess I'm just wondering if even more has been cut like the 2nd half of the anime where it caused me to lose a little bit of interest in the series. Has anyone seen this?
 24.
Set in the realm of Greek mythology, God of War III for the last time puts Kratos at the center of the carnage and destruction as he seeks revenge against the Gods who have betrayed him. A single-player game, this final chapter allows players to take on the climatic role of the ex-Spartan warrior, Kratos, as he treads through the intimidating heights of Mt. Olympus and the dark depths of Hell once more to seek revenge on those who have betrayed him. Armed with double-chained blades, Kratos must take on mythology's darkest creatures while solving intricate puzzles throughout his merciless quest to destroy Olympus. Utilizing a new game engine built from the ground up and state-of-the-art visual technologies, the development team behind God of War 3 have made significant strides in giving players the realistic feel of actually being on the battlegrounds. With texture resolutions being quadrupled since God of War 2, God of War 3 will feature fluid, life-like characters, as well as dynamic lighting effects, a robust weapon system, and world-changing scenarios that will truly bring unmistakable realism to Kratos' fateful quest. Players will have a chance to join battles on a grand scale with many more enemies on-screen and be able to interact with levels like never before.
IGN - 9.3/10 Gamespot - 9.0/10 1up - A X-Play - 5/5 Gametrailers - 9.2/10 I'm not the biggest fan of the God of War games, but I do enjoy the gameplay. (Not as much as I like Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry) I've yet to play this game, but from what I've seen through video reviews I might not play it either. Don't get me wrong, the game looks great, but the brutal killing might even be too much for me to handle. Anytime games start
showing spilled guts and whatever ligament that's attached to the eye all wiggly and whatnot
it becomes too much for me. Seriously, when I was watching, I think it was either Gametrailers or Gamespots video review, they showed that stuff and it felt like my stomach was about to turn. But yeah, I'm curious to hear about other peoples thoughts on the game.
 25. Japanese trailer English trailer Thought I'd update the thread with those trailers. They're the same just different languages. Anyway, that trailer renewed my interest in this game because I was beginning to grow tired of seeing the previous trailer all the time. The battle mechanics were beginning to wear itself out because all I kept seeing was the same thing over and over. Nothing to really get me excited. In this trailer we get to see some of the summons in action and, like I said it renewed my interest in the game. I thought there would be something else to share but, there isn't. _________________ Edit: So the game's been out for 2 days now and I'm waiting to hear some results. I've seen quite a few reviews and they've given the game to high remarks. They've also mentioned that the game can be a turn off for those who like the "open" world of the past games because it's very linear. But yeah want to hear what others think of it.
