"Sigh" So apparently Itachi and Sasuke went on a boar hunting mission together... Yeah, I'm not convinced about that, at least not yet anyway. And then Sasuke's whole demeanor right now. Uh, what happened to that darkness that supposedly made him want to wage war against the leaf village? With the way Sasuke's acting I don't see the point in him and Naruto fighting. Unless Itachi tells him something that really makes him go ballistic I just don't see a point. He's definately not looking like someone who just said the hell with everything and everyone.
Sasakibe's death was pretty much a plot device for Kubo to take advantage of. The SOULs databook implied he was Captain-class Shinigami with bankai and his position as 1st Division Vice Captain makes him being fatally wounded while in bankai against Vandenreich forces seem a legitimate kill for the new villains while at the same time Sasakibe's lack of a fandom means Kubo doesn't have to worry about upsetting fans. Pretty much the same reasoning that makes me dread Komamura coming up against them because he would be one of the easiest kills among the Captains (and Love is there to step back into his old division same as Shinji, Rose and Kensei).
Practically called it. You're good. Reading the latest chapter, having Byakuya talk to Renji about Sasakibe made him respect him a little bit more. Hell, I like Kubo's little jab at us fans (if ones want to take it like that) for calling Sasakibe useless, or whatever word that Byakuya used meant. But, still, I would've liked to have seen something this guy was capable of. I would've even liked to have seen his bankai in action (which in of itself is shocking to me). I probably would've even liked the guy. I guess my main thing is, why hold out on this guy? I mean if this guy is as good as said, why give us characters like Hanataro, Afro-san, Omaeda (of all people, him) and these new characters? Why are you putting characters like Omaeda and Hinamori on the frontlines to fight arrancar? If he has bankai, why even use Hisagi, Kira or Yumichika for that matter? If anything, this really makes me question Kubo's decision-making. As for the other stuff in the chapter.... I would think if Halibel was captured, and maybe I was reading it wrong, or it sunk in the wrong way, but it seems like Grimmjow is in the same boat. Other than that, yeah, the rest of it was pointless babble. I suppose the one thing I really hated... Pessche (sp?) showing up. I can't say he's my most hated character, but man, I can't stand this guy. Characters who're in stories purely for comic relief just flat out annoy me. Going back to Hueco Mundo..... I don't think I'm liking where this is going. I've already seen threads about whose going to be next that needs rescuing (or damsel)

Not much from me. Only time I really get to watch any anime is during the weekend, and that's only if I'm not playing some kind of game. But for the most part I've been able to divide my time evenly amongst the 2. Anyway, this past weekend and the weekend before that I've gotten back into One Piece. I decided to go ahead and buy the series and watch it in english. Despite being the ugly series that it is I cannot take away the fact that it is a fun series. And giving it a 3rd go-around I suppose the voice acting is actually decent. Nevertheless, I still have issues with the voice acting (I've probably said it once or twice before); mainly considering other work some of these voice actors/actresses have done, the work in One Piece is kinda on the subpar level. And then there are voices that just don't fit well with the character themselves (Mainly what's her name as Luffy), and then on a smaller scale, attack names. I've heard it in Bleach as well, but I hate it when they use the word "now" in front of an attack/command. It kinda irritates me to hear that. But other than that, it feels kinda refreshing to get back into the series again, let alone, start from the beginning.

Considering the previous chapter was probably one of the best chapters I've read so far during this whole war even though it was a setup chapter, the latest chapter was a complete 180. Straight up boring. It's no secret I'm a fan of Itachi and the sharingan, but for a chapter with him in it, there was nothing interesting in this chapter. All I can really say is that I hope the next chapter will be better than this one.
All the cool kids of OB watch Glee:

Shy
Boo
There you go. All the cool kids.
Oh dear God, 1st My Little Ponies, and now Glee. What's next? I hope the cool kids don't consider the dougie and jerkin cool. Gotta say I'm digging this new look. Take a little bit of getting used to but I like some of these features I've seen so far.

It was not my intent to call Sasakibe (really?) useless. It's more likely that I'm just jumping the gun in thinking that Kubo is expecting his audience to take him serious by killing off a character that we don't know. But I suppose killing off Sasakibe will give Yama-ji a reason to be more fierce, and I really hope he does. I suppose I shall say something that I found rather interesting with the previous chapter. The enemy has bankai. I swear, this is the only motivation I have right now. I'm still anticipating on seeing these folks bankai and I'm hoping it was actually worth waiting this long for.

I've been bouncing back and forth between Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition and Street Fighter x Tekken. For SSF4: AE, I'm basically still just trying to find out what character I want to main and have as my backup. Even though they were nerfed, I decided to go back to trying to learn Yun and Yang. I still think they're fun characters, and the character I'm going to use that people consider high tier is Fei Long. But because I decided to try to learn the arcade stick again, I decided to take a break from AE. Which brings me to SF x T. While I haven't really dove into the game the way I want, I've basically been watching quite a few videos, and tried training mode for myself once, and my conclusion is that this could indeed be Capcom's best fighting game yet. It's just too bad that the DLC issues people are having with this game is getting in the way because this game is really fantastic. I dare say it's on the same level of 3rd Strike (going by what I've heard of the game) in terms of costly mistakes will cost you big time. Some will say it's for beginners but my thing with that is, is that really a problem? There are people out there that're trying to get into the fighting scene and haven't used an arcade stick in God knows how long, but consider SSF4 far too in-depth to even bother with trying to learn stick. FADC is definately a tough technique to get down especially if one is trying it out on an arcade stick for the 1st time. X Tekken just may be that game that newcomers can learn how to use the stick and then transfer what they learned from X Tekken back to SSF4 (at least that's my plan anyway). And even then, the "pros" are really digging this game. That has to speak for something. Enough about that though, from what I've seen of videos, almost everyone seems to be picking up Ryu, Ken, Rolento, Jin, Kazuya, Nina, Raven and Hugo. Personally, I don't care what character people picks, but my only beef is with 1 character (I plan to pick Hwoarang, Jin, Juri, and possibly Ryu, at least until the DLC is released) and that's Hugo. My goodness, this guy is dishing out 60% of damage with one full combo. I don't know if people here watch streamed tournies of footage from youtube of the tournies, and I don't know if anyone knows about Mike Ross and Gootecks (Team Complexity Cross Counter), but they held a special invite for other "pros". To make a long story short, the guy who was playing Hugo, basically bodied Mike Ross and Gootecks with Hugo while the other guy on his team was just there observing. Skill, yes, but that damage output is insane. Almost everybody that was watching the fight felt salty for Mike Ross and Gootecks. I was salty. I HATE HUGO. But still I like what I'm seeing from the game. Like I said, it's just too bad people are taking out their frustrations of the DLC on the actual match; saying that they're boring when these fights are indeed good, real good. The only flaw I've seen with this game besides the DLC stuff is the fact that if you don't use the gems you risk the chance of having more Timeouts than usual (Personally, I turn the timer off in all of my fighting games) My main team will either be Hwoarang and Juri, or Hwoarang and Jin with Ryu and Kazuya probably acting as my backup team. Hwoarang just looks far too fun to not pick up. Honestly, I didn't think the Tekken characters would fit in all that well, but the whole wave step/dash (I think that's what they're calling it) makes up for it since they go through fireballs. But yes, I wish people would give this game a try even though I understand why people wouldn't considering Capcom is full of #### right now. Why do I do it? Right now I just find myself enjoying fighting games once again. SSF4:AE has renewed my love for fighting games (I also have King of Fighters 13 and I plan on buying BlazBlue Extend along with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3). It's the 3D fighters that I don't find myself ever buying again.

Definately feels good to be back. Now I should probably get some sleep while I can since I have to work later on.

So we are finally back and it feels good to be back. 1st I have to talk about these new characters that're likely to be Ichigo's new nakama. I see them as nothing more than just another Hanataro. It's characters like him/these that really know how to kill an entire chapter for me, but for this chapter that's not the case. Another thing I have with the introduction of these characters; why in the world is Yama-ji dispatching lower shinigami's who're probably low ranks to Karakura town? You have 4 people who're capable of handling hollows on their own (dispite how useless I think they are. Maybe Kubo even deemed them as useless without even knowing it). With that said, I've always had an issue with Afro-san as well. What's the point of some of these pointless characters? Then there's the first death of a good guy. To show how bad Kubo is in certain areas, I don't even know this guy's name or what he's capable of. Are we suppose to feel anything for this guy's death? Don't get me wrong, death is never a good thing, but how am I suppose to feel for someone when he's never on-screen and we don't know a single thing about him? To bring it home even further since this is where Bleach is notoriously known for. Am I suppose to be impressed with the villains for killing a vice-captain? Honestly, if it's not Renji or Ikkaku, granted other vice captains looked stronger, I wouldn't be surprised if anymore of them were killed off, but still, considering those 2 are the only ones that we know that've acquired bankai, how are we suppose to measure how strong these characters are just for killing someone we don't know? This also leads me right into the appearances of Nel and Halibel. Their appearance would've had more of an impact had Kubo kept his mouth shut. I mean, if it's not pertaining to the chapter or power rankings then I really don't want to hear or see these kinds of spoilers. To say that these characters, along with Grimmjow will make an appearance, that really kills my reaction because now I'm expecting it. Kubo's notorious for epic moments, and hearing/reading stuff like "______ will make an appearance in the next arc", just no. HELL NO! Anyway, I'm not a fan of kid Nel, just know that. As for Halibel, again, am I suppose to be impressed with these villains because she was caught? Considering how Kubo handled her (Stark and Barry for that matter) this does not give me an impression that the villains are a huge threat. If anything it just tells me that they can beat an espada. Had Kubo went ahead and have Halibel defeat Toshiro (with ease) this would be an entirely different statment. However, I do feel sorry for Halibel, that's all. But, yeah, to me, Aizen will always be the main villain of the series. Unless this guy takes Aizen out, I will not be convinced. This arc definately started out much better than the last but because of Kubo's inabilty to answer qustions (closeout? I guess) I haven't really been able to enjoy Bleach.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of the last chapter and I definately don't want to jump the gun and say that I'm done with this series, at least not until next weeks chapter. I'm hoping some kind of answer is revealed next week because I don't have it in me to wait another 50+ chapters for something I've been wanting to know for practically 2 years (maybe more). Other than Ichigo getting his powers back what the hell was the point for this arc? Why introduce Fullbringers? Why base an entire group around a pointless character (Chad)? HOW THE HELL DOES GINJO KNOW ABOUT ISSHIN? AND WHERE THE HELL DOES ISSHIN FIT INTO ALL OF THIS? Kubo hasn't answered anything since I have no idea. No doubt I love action. It's the first thing I look for in anything and usually I can depend on Bleach for that but even the last few fights have been completely lackluster. But even I need breaks here and there and it's ridiculous to go on for so long without answering any questions or tying up loose ends. I give Kubo and Bleach a lot of flack but it was still my preferred choice of a manga to go to (over Naruto and One Piece), but I've pretty much had it with Bleach. I've finally gotten back into Soul Eater and D-Grayman is just great. Fairy Tail is working it's way up into the favorites along with Change 123 (once again)[/rant]

I don't know if I should even be posting here yet since it wouldn't be fair. Throughout this entire year I've been so preoccupied with Super Street Fighter 4 to the point to where I've built up a huge backlog of games and a lot of those are games that came out this year. I mean it wouldn't even be fair to say Batman: Arkham City would be my game of the year because I've only played about an hour or 2 of it. So for the meantime I'll say that Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, but I'm pretty sure this post will be null and voided when I get to some of my other games that I bought this year.
After growing tired of Bleach and Naruto once again, I finally began reading D-Grayman. For the most part it does nothing to hook me. As a matter of fact I'd say it's a step backwards from reading Bleach and Naruto. The one thing it has going for it though is that the characters are great. I find these characters very enjoyable. I don't find anyone annoying, nor have I really seen any damsels, and then Allen Walker just has a nice charm to him that's on a similar level of Gon (HxH). He's a lot more naive but he's not an obnoxious brat or some antsy character. If anything, everyone has some type of quirky personality to them.
I finally caught up with D-Grayman and, while I still can't say that I'm hooked (it's probably for the best that I don't get hooked either) I can say that I really do enjoy the series. If I had to compare this series to another I'd probably say Fullmetal Alchemist. It's nowhere near as good, but it does what it do good enough. As I've stated, the series strong point are the characters. I do like just about all the characters except Johnny and the Inspector. Johnny, while a loyal friend, it almost rivals Naruto's man-crush for Sasuke. The only difference is Allen accepts everyone as a friend while Sasuke hates everyone. And then we have the Noah's. Of the ones who've been in the series for a while (Tyki Mikk and Road), I really enjoy them as well. They're like the Humonculi, but quirkier. At the moment my favorites are Kanda, Tyki Mikk, Road and Cross. I may try watching the anime someday. The next series I'm gonna get into (get back into) will be Soul Eater. Edit: So I just tried to get back into Soul Eater and, man, after the 12th chapter I just lost all interest. I don't want to get too much into it but I'd probably have a better experience watching it over reading it, because right now (after reading the 12th chapter) there's quite a bit that's turning me off from the series.

So I just finished my 3rd playthrough of Halo 3 and as epic as I find driving off the ring (?) I find it to be very annoying as well. To have everyone shooting blue and yellow stuff at you, not to mention trying to avoid driving into a huge hole only to fall to your death. While I wasn't driving into holes, it was more like being forced off the edge or continuously being rolled over and having to flip the hog. That's where I was getting annoyed at, but other than that I really enjoy this series. I still have ODST but I don't like it one bit, but I'm thinking about trying it out once more... We'll see. In the mean time though, I think I might fire up Halo Anniversary. That or continue playing Assassin's Creed 2 or start my 4th run of Devil May Cry 4.

So after planning out my plans for christmas vacation this idiotic company decides to take it away from me, and move me back to a position I didn't want to be at for 12 hrs, 5 days a week... Yeah, screw this job.

It's hard to recommend the series because from what I've read of it (up to chapter 80) it's nothing special (not saying it's not good. Just nothing special) and you've probably seen/read something like it already, but the characters are certainly enjoyable, so if you want something to read just for the characters do give it a shot.

The only game show I watch these days (when I'm actually home to watch it) is Family Feud. The reactions or the look on Steve Harvey's face to some of the answers are priceless. Game shows these days are nowhere near as good as to what it was like back in the 90's (probably even earlier than that, although the only ones I can remember is Match Game and Password)
The campaign isn't so bad in that game... but I can't stand those Flood missions... I am so glad they were left out of Halo Reach.
I enjoy the campaign in all Halo games except ODST. Speaking of flood missions, I just got to that point. >_> Can't wait to get back to start playing Reach again though. That one probably was the best campaign I've played among the series.
Well, I just swapped Battlefield 3 for my brother's copy of Uncharted 3. I was mostly interested in Battlefield 3 for the campaign aspect. Multiplayer is great, but I don't play it that often. And my brother was looking at returning Uncharted 3 because he really didn't enjoy it. So I haven't yet played it (I'm trying to finish Uncharted 2 first!), but I'm hoping it's as good as the reviews suggest.
I'm trying to finish the 1st Uncharted so I can finally start 2. Anyway, my time has been spent re-playing Halo 3. Not far into it, but if there was any stress built up it's gone now. I ended up buying Halo Anniversary along with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. After I get Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and possibly King of Fighters XIII I'm definately going on a gaming diet, at least until get through half my backlog of games. If I continue to buy more games I won't get to finish anything lol. Not to mention a lot of my gaming time is spent on Street Fighters, so yeah.
I didn't really care much for this ark in the series none of the people associated with Ginjou really connected with me. I did find the guy with the jackpot knuckle to be a funny character. I want to see Ichigo's father be brought back into the manga I want more history revealed about his time in Soul Society.
You're not alone. The only character I actually liked out of those fullbringers was Tsukishima and even he was beginning to get tiring. Ginjo, while I have nothing against him, it's like there's something missing and it caused me to not care for him. As for the ark itself, man, I can remember when this arc first started. I was pretty heated because the last arc ended with no answers to the questions that were in my head, and to kick it off with that boring stuff was a bad move imo. I will admit that when Ichigo started his training and Tsukishima came into the picture that I was way more intrigued than I should've been, because, well, let's face it, Kubo's at his best when it comes to fights and for the most part he tend to deliver in that category even though I may be disappointed with the outcome. Speaking of which, this latest chapter, and the way this fight ended was definately disappointing. I'm hoping that SP will deliver the quality of animation that was in the last filler arc or at the very least, give us the same quality that was in the Zanpakuto filler, because reading this fight and the Tsukishima vs Byakuya was on the boring side. At this point in the manga the only thing I can hope for is answers to everything. People constantly say be patient... How patient does one have to be in order to get those answers. Oh how I miss Psyren and Fullmetal Alchemist. Perhaps it's time to get back into Soul Eater and pick up D-Grayman afterall.
So what about you guys? Any favourite video game songs? How important do you think music is for a video game? What are your thoughts on the ones I've posted? ^^
While I don't think much about music in games, but they are very important since they feed on any type of emotion or just the overall feel of the game (I think that's what I'm trying to say). It's ironic though. There have been quite a few times where I could never pay attention to the music but at the same time I don't think I'd be able to play any games without music.

And so now we have a reboot by Platinum Games instead, and it's called Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I gotta say that, while I didn't care for Vanquish. I think that style don't really fit with guns and maybe more suitable to swords instead, but with that said I'm definately looking forward to it.
