[size=1][color=navy]You know what really kills me about Bleach? The fact that Soul Society condones everything that Mayuri's done. Blew up his own folks. Had Uryuu's grandfather killed... (And the fact that Uryuu is ok with this still puzzles me. This guy should be taking aim at him all the time) Do people really want folks like that to protect them? I brought that up because I'm really iffy about Mayuri right now. I've never trusted that bastard since his first appearance. (And I just hate mad scientists) I really wish he get did in. Anyway, the interaction between him and Ichigo was pretty decent. The conversation between Unohana and Ichigo was ok. Predictable (although I didn't want to believe it would turn out that way), but still ok. This really has me thinking that Aizen's going to either win this fight or he's going to pull a Naraku and high-tail it out of there. I just don't see Ichigo winning this fight at the moment. (Unless Bleach is coming to an end, but there's talk about another arc) Edit: A chapter with Byakuya in it and I didn't mention him... Put Mayuri in his place, Kuchiki.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]Even though that fight ended because of a technicality, I still liked the fight. (And I'm an action 1st type of guy. Action first, worry about the other stuff later, when it comes to anime that is lol) And I'm an Itachi fan. What I should be worried about is the stuff afterwards. [spoiler]The long focus on Sasuke. The Plot Jutsu from Pain, and all this confession crap.[/spoiler] Although I do think a filler might be coming up soon since the anime is fairly close to the manga.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]Oh my... The anime nailed the latest episode. Even I almost got choked up and I don't even like [spoiler]Jiraya[/spoiler]. [spoiler]That toad at the end looking at Tsunade will definately hit a lot of people.[/spoiler] This can be a decent anime when it's not plagued with idiocracy (NARUTO) and crappy pacing, although I have to admit that there haven't been any problems with the pacing lately.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]I know people are bout tired of it now, but I'm gonna say it again... Sasuke is Naruto's lover. People tend to bring up that there's some realism in this series (which I've yet to see), so lets be realistic here... Who in there right mind would continously try to save someone that repeatedly tries to kill you? (I know I'm supposed to be a christian, but this irritates me) I swear I can't stand this boy. Kills any and all interest tends to build. (Considering where the anime is at now) I really rather here this boy go on about being Hokage than being so obsessed with Sasuke. Pisses me off. I'm being teased with this Kisame and Bee fight. Just give them most of a chapter so I can be satisfied at least one time. I've been debating on whether I should stop reading the manga and just watch the anime so I can try to enjoy it more. I'm starting to think it's not even worth it. Considering I don't like the way Naruto talk already, and to hear him go on about Sasuke will probably set me off.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]So I decided to put myself through the torture anyway and check them out. These edits are definately not as bad as people make them out to be. Especially, considering that it is on a disney channel after all. (Do people really think there won't be anything that gets edited?) It puts me in the mindset of when Naruto was running on Cartoon Network. My main concern is dialogue. I didn't have much of an issue with it in these first four episodes, but one can't help but get a little uneasy considering I thought the dialogue in part 1 was pretty poor. Deidara's voice's not what I'd expected, but I suppose it fits. Animation was pretty decent for the most part. It's pretty decent overall though. To those who've seen the filler. How's the fighting? I don't watch them because most of them are generally based on comedy instead of fighting. Not to mention the piss-poor artwork / animation. Are they worth watching?[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]I called myself trying to play [b]Soul Calibur 4[/b] to see if I can get into the series again (since I've been on this Tekken spree), but unfortunately, that's just not going to happen. After enjoying the first Soul Calibur I, for some unforseen reason can't get into the rest of the games in the series. I like weapon-based combat (I wouldn't like Guilty Gear if I didn't), but things just seem so meh-ish in SC2 and up. Oh well, I won't speak ill of the game anymore. Man, I have a serious urge to play both Tekken and Virtua Fighter now. Anyway, back to finish up this run of [i]Chrono Trigger[/i].[/color][/size]

[size=1][color=navy]That was pretty boring. Some shonen really should stay away from the "romance" department. Especially when it involves kiddies. I hardly pay attention to all that romance stuff anyway, but even I can tell that confession was just a load. That didn't sound convincing at all. (At least in my head it didn't) Complete waste of my time... [/rant] I'm still waiting for Kisame and Killer Bee to come to blows... All that other stuff needs to be put on a back burner.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]Kenpachi's appearance was sort of out of nowhere (anime), but nevertheless, I'm glad to see him. Wonder if he's going to fight against Byakuya... ("mouth waters") As for this chapter. Definately more comedic and build up over everything else, although I didn't do much laughing outside of seeing Kenpachi trying to cut Ichigo. However, Byakuya really stole this chapter for me. "This is no place for you to be. I suggest you hurry off to the human world and out of my sight." That line alone sold this chapter. Not really all that thrilled about Mayuri though. "shrugs"[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]I'm not that much of a Tekken fan especially after playing Tekken 5 (The only Tekken games I liked were T3 and TTT), but then again I guess that was because I wasn't expecting the ramped up difficulty and the cheap boss at the end (on easy). Now I have a sudden urge to play the game.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]Unfortunately, I've yet to find that comforting anime (probably because of my lack of taste and pickiness) when I'm dealing with stress. The closest thing to comforting was [b]Moribito[/b] because of its serene look. I'd like to continue watching this since it became a top favorite after seeing the first 5 episodes, but since the time slot changed on adult swim I haven't been able to watch it anymore. Now when it comes to anger... [b]Black Lagoon[/b] seems to calm me down quite a bit. As evil and demented as it sound, the level of violence and agression in this does wonders for my anger. [b]Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal[/b] is another that I'd say does the trick for me as well. [b]Death Note[/b] does a little bit as well. "coughs"[/size][/color]

Besides the loading my only real complaint is that I don't really care for the mini-games, specifically the racing part in 2300, but then again, if it doesn't involve battling I generally tend to skip all of them (or at least try to skip all of them) since I never find them to be all that rewarding. Chrono - 71 Marle - 70 Lucca - 67 Frog - 67 Robo - 67 Ayla - 70 Guess you know who my main party is :). I think I might start my first attempt at FFIX soon. (That or VI)[/size][/color]

I was under the impression that Kenpachi was the one that sliced Yammy's leg off. Kind of hard to imagine him arriving on the scene to do nothing. I don't really have much to say about the chapter other than what I've always thought when it came to power. Ichigo's bankai does nothing in terms of power.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=navy]Yeah.... Um, I decided to check out the latest episode, and to be honest, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Mainly because I already know what's going to happen [spoiler], and I'm such an evil prick for liking the end results... :devil:[/spoiler]. The way it's been animated is nicely done. Speaking of animation, something I noticed in this episode as well as the episode where Kakashi and Shikimaru fights Hidan and Kakuzo is that it has the same animated style that's in the earlier episodes.. (Lee vs Gaara, Sasuke vs Naruto, Sasuke vs Orochimaru) The thing that strikes out at me is that the character models are less hideous looking. (Studio Perrot, you finally got it right.) Now if only there's some consistency with it, I'll be a happy camper. I'm curious about the opening as well. Are those spoilers for the fight between Sasuke and Itachi or is that just something thrown together? Is that fight going to be animated like it is in the opening? (That'll be some good stuff if it is.) Oh yeah, I also decided to check out the Naruto Shippuden movie... A lot of lows... Nice fight scenes, but after reading the manga, seeing Naruto's progression and whatnot, it was pretty hard to not be annoyed with Naruto with the way he was acting. Rash and stupid. [spoiler]He's still stupid, but a less rash.[/spoiler] Like the other Naruto movies, I wouldn't watch it again because of the annoyance factor.[/size][/color]

"coughs" Honestly, before people brought up the whole "trope" talk (other places..) I had Ichigo weaker than the 4 captains with his mask and bankai. Still do in a sense. Shunsui did beat Stark with a shikai, and Ichigo couldn't do much of anything against Ulquiorra with his initial release. I'm not convinced Yammy's "0" ranking mounts to anything. Unless he (of all people) actually do something. Now if you're saying Ichigo (going buck wild) > Shunsui then I'll agree. The one that's been convincing me of anything as of late is Wonderweis (sp?).[/size][/color]
