"Sigh" nothing worth mentioning in this chapter either other than Kensei. I've never liked Mashiro since she arrived. Too bad WW did get to finish that punch. I would've enjoyed that greatly. (I know. I'm mean =p) I don't even know if I'm willing to wait to see the rest of the bankai's anymore though. The previous chapter was that disappointing. (I'm holding grudges)

From one samurai manga to the next, I started reading Rurouni Kenshin again. I don't know why but, a lot of this stuff looks new to me. I think what I did the last time was read the Kurogasa part. Skipped the Oniwaban arc. (I don't even remember if I read the Kyoto arc or not) But I do remember reading the Jinchuu arc. (I don't even recall reading the Raijuta incident...) And here I've always said that the manga and anime weren't all that different. Lesson learned. (Read the whole thing and don't skip. XD) Anyway, I just finished reading chapter 48 and one things for certain.
Sanosuke definately deserved what Saitoh did to him.
Seriously, it's good to be cautious but, it's bad to be nosy. I think that was where I began to not really care for Sanosuke. Reading this again reminds me why I think Rurouni Kenshin is the best shonen series out there. (Yu Yu Hakusho is as well.. One Piece is good but everything else don't really measure up to RK and YYH. At least not from what I've been checking out lately.)

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Magus replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
Adult Swim update Aw man, it was already hard for me to catch Moribito at 1:30 now it's been pushed to the 2:30 time slot... Unless Moribito appears on demand there's no chance for me to watch it. Do FMA really need re-air again? >_> -
I personally would hate to see voice acting added, but I do want Americans to at least get the improved PAL translation (although hopefully an even better version arises). So I think it depends what S-E do. They could even add some new gameplay elements if they were really keen. It all comes down to how they approach it I think.
Hmm.... PAL translation? You lost me there. Anyway, I agree with you. I don't think I'd like to voices in it either especially because I haven't really cared about some of the voice acting when it comes to RPG's. (They're not bad, at least not all of them, but a lot of them can be really dull.) As far as a remake. I'm at the point to where I wouldn't mind one but at the same time I don't really care. The only thing I'd really be interest to see is a graphic upgrade since I didn't have much of an issue with the controls or battle mechanics. (I do nitpick about materia but it's really minor and don't really affect anything.) In other news, FFVII is on PSN though... (FFVIII is on there too.) "coughs" Good move since it's pretty expensive.

Ah, yes... I don't watch Family Guy... :animeswea
Seth MacFarlane is an overly-opinionated, unfunny douchebag. If I ever meet him in person, I think I shall kick him in the testicles.
And he is? I know I heard the name from somewhere though.

Tell me about it. This last chapter alone completely makes my last comment null and void. This is how build-up chapters should be done.
Best entrance/appearance ever.
Oda is quite the mind reader or he just knows how to handle character exposure really well. Taking the focus off of Luffy for a little bit was needed seeing how I was beginning to get really tired of seeing him. And now it actually feels quite refreshing to see him again. The events has been quite something although I think it's been a little crowded. Hard to tell what's going on in some areas. But yeah, this is definately refreshing.

I guess I liked it because it seemed to have added a bit of a thought process into how characters are to attack. (I may be jumping the gun a bit there.) It's nothing new (Yu Yu Hakusho did something a bit similar as well. I don't remember it too hot though.) but this type of stuff is what I need in fights right now to keep me interested, especially with it being fight after fight after fight. I like seeing characters think while fighting. Edit: I'm about to go on a rant here. I know I said that this needs to move along, but not like this. Pretty much the top 3 was done in and we still have no idea why they were considered the top 3. Halibel being killed by Aizen... At least it wasn't Toushiro that did her in, but still I'm disappointed with this because Aizen interfered. (too soon) My biggest gripe here, though is Stark losing to a shikai. (What in the hell?) Power rankings were tossed out the window long ago, but this also makes me wonder what was the point of involving the vaizards? What was the point of even creating the vaizards? All this battle really proved that Shinigami > Espada > Vaizards. At least that's how I see it. Honestly, with 2 captains who're vaizards, you'd think they should be able to beat Stark in a 2-on-1 battle. If I didn't know any better I'd assume Ulquiorra was #1 because he fought like he was the top dog. If Stark, Hali, and Barry were actually vastolordes they were the biggest disappointments I'd ever seen. (I still like Stark and Hali but....) This is Kubo's fault, giving me such high hopes on these characters and he didn't deliver. I'm not even sure if I really want to continue reading Bleach now. We'll wait till next week. Better be something real big to make up for the way the top 3 were portrayed. [/rant]

There's been quite a few anime that's been either getting redid or getting part 2's to it as of late. Be it over animation issues, extensions, or even if you feel that the anime didn't do the manga any justice. Are there any anime out there that you think should be redone? Rurouni Kenshin - While I haven't seen any episodes after the Kyoto arc but, I'd still want to see the Jinchuu arc animated. Samurai Deeper Kyo - I've been reading this a lot lately and, when I sit down and actually think about it. From what I've seen of the anime it looks like it does follow the manga (Where did Meigera come from?). Honestly, I don't mind if it doesn't. My thing is the animation was a turn off. Don't get me wrong the characters looked decent (pretty close to the manga acutally.) but the fighting felt so uninspired till it was boring. If you don't know I'm an actionholic. I need my action to look good. I need my fights to fast and intense. SDK's fights looked entirely too stiff. I can't recall anyone's voices at the moment. (I'm talking about the dub.) All I recall is that the guy from Yugioh = Kyo. (Mumyo Jinpu ryu sounds epic from him, heh.) So yeah, the animation needs to be redone. (Or would it just be fighting choreography?) Bleach - Look at Samurai Deeper Kyo. Also the voices.. Actually, I think the voices are fairly decent. (Last episode I saw I think Grimmjow was introduced.) Takes a bit getting used to but still decent no less. My concern with the dub is the script itself. I remember bigger words were being used in certain lines and it just never sounded right and, then other times things just sounded off. I think it was Renji's va that sounded like he was answering his own question with another question when he was fighting with Ichigo. It's a small matter but sometimes those small things can be the cause of things sounding better or worst. Naruto - Errr... Look at Bleach. Rename the series

I'm pretty certain that Korey's already aware of the latest rumor but, for everyone else that don't know there's a rumor that Street Fighter IV is already getting a sequel with 10 extra characters. 8 returning characters and 2 new characters. SF3: Ibuki, Makoto, and Dudley SF2: Dee Jay and T-Hawk SFA: Guy (YAY!!!), Cody and Adon It's just rumored, but if it turns out to be true I'm glad that I haven't bought SFIV as of yet.
Gungrave was really good, but it got almost no publicity in the USA at least... i think a lot of people thought it was just a knock off of the game, but it had a pretty deep story of its own. it was touching, but in a brutal way. a story about friendship, and killing friends.
Agreed. I found Gungrave to be one of the best series when it came to characterization. Speaking of which, Hajime no Ippo (Fighting Spirit) is a current anime that seems to be under the radar, yet I feel that it's better than the current big 3 shonen series. I'm not into the sports genre when it comes to anime, but when the story is told as good as it is here can't help but to be drawn in. (Although story is not what I look for.) What really struck at me was the characterization that's in this series. There are a lot of great characters in this series and they interact with each other really nicely. There are no villains, but there are some that'll give you that impression. The fighting is also handled nicely, although it can get a little over the top at times (but I have no issues with that.) Definately quite the underrated series considering all the other shonen series that seems to get people to overlook this one.
Some things to think about: -How old were you five years ago? -What was your daily life like? -Would you give a warning, or an encouragement? -Would it be about your life then, or your life now? -Would your younger self take you seriously? (What kind of test might you employ to prove your identity?)
- 20 - That was 2004... Err... That was the worst year ever for me. That's all I'll say. (Pisses me off just thinking about it.) - A warning. Beat the living #$@# out of everyone that said something stupid to me back then. - I think I answered that one in the last question. - More than likely.

I've already said my share about this series and don't really feel like boring everyone with it yet again, although I can always find time to trash talk about this series :) Anyway, what exactly is the Mizukage's kekkei genkai? Looks like it can be some form of water type thing that's like acid/sludge.

Meh, I swear, people should really consider themselves lucky that I tend to hold my anger in. (a lot) I call myself trying to be nice these days but, people really like to push ones buttons. I'ma let em have it one day. "Woosah"

Man this computer is freakishly trippy right now. Anyway... Delta, you are maniacally awesome. You're my shero. "coughs" (I really need to get and learn how to use photoshop and all that stuff.) I didn't expect 3 images to be used. I was only trying to give more options of pictures... But I'm grateful that it worked out well because this is some awesome stuff. Thanks a mil. :) Don't be surprised if I come to you for a Ghost in the Shell request sometime down the road. Edit: Oh, the avatar is just fine btw.
Not trying to pry, but why do you not just simply get this aforementioned "flash thingy"?
Computer issues.. (big time) Did a system restore but, still running into the same problems so I don't want to put anything on the computer until I get it checked out.

Can't watch Hajime no Ippo anymore... (anime in general online.. Missing a flash thingy that lets me watch things in HD) I've been reading Samurai Deeper Kyo for the time being. When I see this and compare it to it's anime counterpart, it's almost like a completely different series altogether. (I didn't watch all episodes so I could be off there.) One thing I've noticed... Who the heck is that ninja guy with the cannon on his arm and where the heck is he in the manga? If he's not in the manga what was the point of including him in the anime....? Anyway, while I don't think this is the best samurai series out there, it certainly has its entertaining points. The fighting is pretty good. The artwork is probably the best I've seen out of all the manga I've read so far... (only 5.. Let count.. Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Rurouni Kenshin, Basilisk, Death Note, Tenjou Tenge, Black Lagoon.. Ok 9) It's kind of funny how everyone is portrayed as a pretty-boy.
Even Oda Nobunaga looks like one of them pretty-boys that'll get upset if you touch his face.
I'm currently on chapter 91. I suppose my only issue with this series is Yuya. (Who didn't see that coming.) She's as typical as the next damsel. (I'm so grateful that Ghost in the Shell, Black Lagoon, Basilisk and Moribito exists.) Only good for shouting the main character's name over and over. >_> Puts me in the mind of Kaoru and Kagome.

Err... I didn't watching anything from the summer season... None of those series sparked an interest.. Most of them looked either too girly, or too fanservice-y. This season looks pretty much the same except now you can throw in comedy... >_> However, there are a few shows that I may check into just because I'm a tad bit curious. (This season does beat out last season and Spring just because there are more shows I'm curious about this time around.) Darker than Black 2 Fariy Tail (Only because I want to see how will it be animated.) Inuyasha (Oh dear God. I'm curious about how will they cram the last half into 26 episodes.) Romance of the 3 Kindgoms.. I gotta admit that I'm going into this pretty blind. I've only played the Dynasty Warrior games so I don't know anything about the 3 kingdoms. Hopefully it'll entertain me since I'm a fan of chinese/japanese stuff. The Sacred Blacksmith.. (I can't view any trailers at the moment.) Only because it's Manglobe. Outside of that Machiko no Hatchin (sorry, I forgot the name completey) series that's the company that had something to do with Samurai Champloo.
haters gonna hate... HA! HA! HA! what a perfect gif, mad props gavin. but seriously... why rage over animes you dont like... 100% of the time someone else likes that same anime. any reason you have for disliking something is countered by the fact that its an enjoyable thing to watch... maybe not by you, but someone liked it.
Believe it or not most of the folk here a mature enough to handle a topic like this. No one really takes this topic seriously (at least not anymore... heh), and at the same time everyone knows that it's just opinions. No ones trying to persuade anyone or change their views. Besides.. it gives people something to vent about. (It can get boring talking about how great every show is... Best _____ threads lead to fanboys/girls and annoying _____ ROXORS comments.. So, yeah. "shrugs")

I think that sums things up nicely... Anyway... I really need to start doing research before jumping into a series... (I'm slipping off.) I tried to watch Queen's Blade, but I couldn't even make it through the first 10 minutes with all the fanservice that's thrown in your face from the start. And here I thought Ikki Tousen was bad... This is far worst than that.
Tales of the Abyss - Real fun game. The ending was actually a bit underwhelming, if only because I had gotten so attached to the characters and having it end was like... weird or something. Or maybe I felt it wasn't OH EM GEEE enough. I dunno, still a great game and I'm sure I'll replay it someday. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney + Justice for All - First two games in the AA series heck yes. I don't know why I didn't jump on this crazy train sooner. o_o The games are unbelievably addicting; for people who like solving mysteries (even as basic as watching Law & Order to see whodunnit) this is, like, MADE for you. Srsly. I'm just sad that I don't have the other two games in the series to play. ;3;
Even though I despise Luke, I did have a blast playing that game. And I'm kind of regretting the fact that I traded it in... (One would think I've learned my lesson with Dragon Quest 8... but I needed the credit XD.) But yeah, what really made the game for me was Jade's sarcasm and Guy's phobia. I wouldn't mind playing it again. One would think I'm enjoying Tales of Vesperia as much as I enjoyed TotA but, honestly, it feels like something is missing from that game but I just can't place my finger on it. (But it's still a good game though.) Maybe if I had the time to actually play the game I'd probably think otherwise. I've only played Justice for All and Apollo Justice and, I agree with you there as well. Those are some pretty fun games even though there's no replay value and, I found some of the characters annoying. But overall, those were some great games. I'd really like to play the other games in the series one of these days. In any case, I'm still playing Ninja Gaiden 2 on mentor. I've made it up to chapter 8 and it's been pretty hectic. Robots pissing me off. IS ninja's pissing me off. I hate this chapter because I tend to play stupid every time I face off against them. I highly doubt I'll be able to finish the game though, since my sister is suppose to leave the end of this month and, she's taking the 360 with her. "shrugs" Once my god-brother brings this controller I'll finally be able to get back to playing Final Fantasy 4... (crap... I don't even know where I last left off on that game.)
Also, when the heck did the "Favorite Anime" field pop up in the Edit Profile section? oO
I vist OB World every 2 weeks (what does that have to do with anything.. :animeswea) but, I found out about it going there so it's not been much of a surprise to me.

At first I was a bit iffy about Shunsui's ability.. (Someone at another forum made it sound like it's his bankai.) But having it be a double-edge sword made things really interesting. There was much going on than the typical fighting but, still the inclusion of a game made me more interested. I hope it's not over though... Top espada losing against a shikai don't sit well with me and makes the espada even more overhyped.
-
Honestly, I thought this chapter was a lot better than the last chapter I read. (Naruto telling the Raikage to forgive Sasuke and crap. Haven't read it since then.) I agree though, double mangekyo.... I guess I liked this chapter because a secondary character is finally getting a chance to fight since it's been forever since it's been Sasuke this and Naruto that. (On the bright side, this series can finally be called "Naruto or Sasuke" with the huge cast of characters being shafted.) I'm interested in seeing how Gaara will fight without the Shukaku thingy.

^ The toilet's calling for you. Man, the thought of going to class on a weekend sucks... I gotta get it changed asap.
