I haven't played it but, [b]Metal Gear Solid 4[/b] had me feeling real bad for Snake. (I watched the whole series being played on youtube.) [spoiler]To see him actually going through that heating thing giving every shred of energy he had to spare. I swear if I hadn't seen the ending before seeing that part I probably would've shed some tears.[/spoiler]

Majority of the times if I'm not trying to pay attention I'm either spacing out or trying to take my own notes out of our textbook. Most of our instructors use slides to give us notes but they ramble too long about it. But for the most part I'm spacing out.

I've been having the craziest of problems with this computer as of late. It's been doing automatic restarts and going to a blue screen yet, I unchecked that option. It'd even restart while in safe mode at times. Did a system recovery (went back to factory condition) and I'm still getting this auto restart with the blue screen.

Oi, Shinmaru, you just killed any and all interest I had left to pick up where I left off with Gundam Seed Destiny. (I hate recaps. Good heads up.) Anyway, I picked up where I left off with [b]Hajime no Ippo[/b] and this has become one of my favorite series. I'm on episode 27 and, I can certainly say that I really can't stand this Mashiba person. No matter what he's going through [spoiler]his cheap tactics against Miyata[/spoiler] pisses me off. [spoiler]I really would've like to see Miyata vs Ippo in the finals[/spoiler] but, I guess it was not meant to be. Hopefully there'll will be a time they get a rematch. If not, I'll settle for a Miyata vs Hayami (I think that's his name... Shotgun guy.) [b]Bleach[/b]. You know it's sad when it takes filler to get me back into watching a series. This zanpakuto fighting against their owners theme has been really interesting. Some of the fighting's been good and other's have been kind of crappy.. (Ichigo... Honestly, I really don't like how Studio Perrot handles large swords in fights.)

Hmm.. I never thought Michigan did conventions... You won't see me there but, it is nice to know that conventions are held here though.

[size=1]Oh my Jesus. I've finally gotten past the very first area on [b]Ninja Gaiden 2[/b] on Path of the Mentor, and wouldn't know it, they send rocket people my way afterwards.. I kind of find the rocket folks easier to deal with over the IS ninja's. I guess that's because they (rockets) don't swarm you as much as the IS ninja's. Also, I think I'm going to stick with the staff throughout most of the game seeing how I feel a lot more safe (comfortable) with it than I do with the dragon sword. I definately see where the fun is at now. Trying to beat this on a higher difficulty. I think the next time I get my hands on Devil May Cry 4 (3 as well) I'm going to attempt one of the harder difficulties.[/size] ____________________ Squash that, I made it to chapter 3 on Path of the Mentor, but I gotta talk about chapter 2 first. First and foremost things can get pretty stupid when you just run in stupidly trying to take out the soldiers firing missles. Then when you get pass that you have more missles being fired at you far away when running up some steps. It can get pretty tedious especially when you forget to save or refill your health. And then after that when you finally reach the rooftop battle with IS ninja's, things can get pretty hairy, but by the 8th time I died I think I got fairly used to how they operate.... somewhat. The battle that was really hard for me was the Ratsetsu fight because IS ninja's are with him and they are very aggressive. I've died at least 12 times trying to figure out how to beat him, and if I had to do it again, I'd probably die another good 12 - 15 times before finally beating him. Even though I did end up dying against Genshin (mainly because I didn't know what to expect), it wasn't as nearly as bad as I thought it would be. As a matter of fact I'd say the fight with Ratsetsu and the IS ninja's were harder than him. Now that I'm on ch. 3 the difficulty seem to have went from insane to straight up [strike]bullsh.......[/strike]garbage. These purple/green-like thingy's causes so much damage to where you can receive a gameover in a matter of 2 hits. I've watched videos for how to beat the very beginning of this part, it's just a matter of getting the timing down for my 360 OLC with the staff. I'm pretty horrible right now with that stuff. And I keep being stupid trying to do a full charge rather than a regular charge. This game is definately a lot more fun (pissing me off though) on the higher difficulties.) I may never even attempt to do a Path of the Master run though. My patience won't allow for it. Heh.

Heh, I've yet to really get revenge on anyone, although I claim I'm vengeful... Hehe. I just like the word. So Barragan falls into the same category as every other typical villain that whines when you get the best of them. Man, all the Vegeta clones are really boring and bothersome now. It was fine during the DBZ days, and even then Freiza, Cell and Buu were also problematic when they whined about getting whipped. (Then top it off with them laughing once they launch another attack only to be whining yet again.) I really hope Aizen don't fall into this category when he meet his end.

(and this is just from watching it being played by someone else.) Not to mention I normally keep my composure when it comes to games. And that's some pretty big shoes for Batman: Arkham Asylum to fill, especially considering that I hear it's fairly short compared to most other games that are similar to it. But to hear it being compared to MGS4, I'm definately going to get it, but I won't set my expectations that high XD.

It don't really bother me. It just kind of caught me off guard because I could've sworn I saw "senior member" when I came on earlier today.

I don't have it yet, but reading all the reviews for it makes me want it even more. Seriously, a Batman game getting 9's from every review site. Can't wait to get my hands on this game. I want to try out detective mode.

Outside of the 2nd opening and that spanish/latin theme (for the espadas) this is definately the best theme the series has to offer imo.

Took a break from Dead or Alive 4 and went back to [b]Tales of Vesperia[/b]. (I'll be playing a lot more of this for the next couple of weeks (might be shorter than that.) since I have the time now. My party are between levels 42-44. I forgot what town I'm in but [spoiler]the last thing I remember happening was a cut scene of Estelle blowing everyone away to a town, and I'm suppose to go to some icy place.[/spoiler] I've been tinkering around with the skills and whatnot, but I'm not certain if they're activated or not. (Green letters means activated right?) Also, while I know it don't count as playing it, but I've been watching this youtube walkthrough of [b]Metal Gear Solid 4[/b]. (It's not like I can play it anyway. Don't own a ps3.) At first I was just watching it to see everything that can be done in the game, but then one thing lead to another and I found myself watching it continously as if it were a movie, and let me tell you, just looking at the game being played is all sorts of epic. So I can imagine how it'll feel once I actually get to play it. [spoiler]The motorcycle ride leading up to the fight against Crying Raven was awesome.[/spoiler] It's been a while since I've called a game epic, and I think the last game I've actually called epic was Metal Gear Solid 3. That or Devil May Cry 3. (both were epic to me.) I've yet to really see or play anything this gen that actually blew me away. Sure Gears of War 2, Devil May Cry 4, and Ninja Gaiden 2 were good games, but none of them did much to really draw me into its story as much as MGS4 has done. From the characters all the way to the gameplay is downright amazing. And I'm not even done watching it. I think I'm fairly close to the end though. Man, I can wait to get my hands on a ps3 or MGS4. Raiden is officially a BA. I should watch more walkthrough's more often... (As long as there's no commentary that is.)

So I failed my finals for Math. (>_>) But in the end it only dropped me down a point for my overall grade. (78%. I was at 79) Makes me wonder if passing the exam would've improved my grade at all. (Considering how she grades and whatnot.) Anyway, I really hope I don't get this same teacher next quarter for College Math 2. Messin around with her would definately screw up any and all chances of getting/keeping a 4.0.

Last time I voted for Death Note because I didn't want FMA to win (I know, quite the shady one.), but to be honest I don't think there's anything to really talk about that hasn't been discussed already in the Death Note thread itself especially considering the anime and manga has ended. Unfortunately, I think Des is right on the money. Inuyasha and other long running series are pretty much the way to go at the moment, but then again I suppose that's being like everyone else and we gotta be different. Are there any shorter series that recently came out with a huge fanbase?

(Characters seems to be the primary reason for me to get into anything as of late. Use to be action first.) I can't really get into CSI either, although my mom tends to watch CSI: New York on a regular basis, and I've seen a couple of episodes that were pretty good. I'm just a 24 nut, though I will admit that for the first time I didn't really care for the last season so I didn't watch all the episodes. As far as movies go, honestly the only movie I've seen this year that I thought was good was The Dark Knight. Everything I hardly bothered to watch. Movies for the past couple of years has been losing its draw points for me, and I just get to the point where I just don't want to even see new movies anymore. Oh yeah, it's almost close to impossible to get me to read novels. If I don't have to read chances are I'm not since I hate reading. (But I encourage everyone else to continue reading XD.) All we did in elementary/middle school (3rd Grade up to the 8th) were book reports, and they made me sick. So now I just can't stand to read books anymore. A couple of things I'm pretty certain everyone is aware of by now. I forgot the date when it's suppose to be released (I think Sept 1st), and it's going to cost $299. We knew it was going to happen, and all I can say is FINALLY. While it's still a bit out of my price range at the moment (having no job and whatnot), I can actually look forward to buying this when I finally get a job. But atm, it's about time I start using layaway again. (Especially with the way the economy is now, it might actually be a smart idea to use that thing. Agreed. And speaking of which, is he the only other fighter that fights in 2 weight classes? (BJ Penn being the other.) I know he just fought Forrest Griffin. (poor guy. I'm a fan of Forrest, but I just knew he was going to lose by a knockout...) Shouldn't he just give up the belt and go for the Light Heavyweight title? Silva vs Machida would be great to see, but I kind of doubt that'll ever happen since they're on the same team, or at least I think I saw Silva in Machida's corner at one point.
