I thought they were just being smartasses.
I would hope so. Having Ichigo being the only one who can hold his mask forever (even though he's the main character) would not be cool.

Tousen got a shot in on Shinji. Quite unexpected.

Wow, those guys are good. Name is quite deceiving though. Tap dancing gangster... I'm looking to see a blood or cript (crypt?) tapping.

Hmm... This week is more of a build up chapter since it seems like we're just getting match ups... Rose/Love vs Stark Lisa/Hyori vs Halibel Hacchi vs Barragan (oh great... This is probably going to be the most boring fight of all.) Komamura/Hisagi vs Tousen Kensei/Mashiro vs a bunch of hollows... (Oh come on. Kensei should be fighting an espada)

Watching ======== Basilisk - IFC finally put this series back on. Last time I gave up on it because it started off a bit slow. I saw up to about episode 5 the last time, and it was still fairly slow. But after reading the manga I've regretted (sp?) doing so since it took so long for me to ever see it again.
I really wanted to see how Gennosuke's Dojutsu looks animated because, in the manga, it looked epic.
And the anime don't disappoint either. Now I just gotta see it dubbed. Gundam 00 (2nd season) - I've been following this on the Syfy channel, although I missed the last 2 episodes that came on this past Monday. So far this season hasn't nearly been as dynamic as the first season, but don't get me wrong though. I'm still enjoying it. By the time season 1 ended it had the potential to become my favorite anime (Topping Ghost in the Shell: SAC and I don't consider anything to be better than that... So that would be quite a feat.), but like I said, season 2's not really living up to what season 1's done for me. Some other shows I'm considering watching: Tales of the Abyss - I left off on episode 5 and been meaning to get back into it. Dragonball Kai - I'm cautiously considering returning to where I started, because now that I've been exposed to other series of it's kind I just don't know If I'm really able (or willing) to get back into this series, especially considering that there's way too much in the DB universe that I've grown out of, and can't stand. Hunter X Hunter - I've checked out the first 3 episodes about 3 months ago, and it was a bit too slow for me. But I've heard from others that it does pick up. Claymore - This is something that I've just been curious about. Reading ====== The typical One Piece, Bleach and Naruto combo. I still haven't found anything new to read outside of Fairy Tail, but like my post in the thread, I'm not going to read it as much as the others.

Those are the only One Piece and Bleach openings that I actually like. The OP one is pretty catchy, and the Bleach theme sounds like something that I'd usually hear in one of those old karate movies... (No Retreat No Surrender..)

Anime Anime Out of Context (image heavy)
Magus replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Otaku Central
No. Now it is.
For all you men... imagine popping a baby outta your va-jay-jay. Like something the size of a MELON with arms and legs sprawling about trying to crawl its way to the light. Also, being kicked in the stomach while you're on your period hurts far more than being hit in the nuts. Believe me. You throw your guts up.
Va-jay-jay huh... I'm fairly certain we don't have that... Or at the very least, I've never heard guys use to the term "va-jay-jay"... (For some reason I just want to bust out laughing.) I don't know... While I've never been hit in the nuts before, (people are smart enough to not attempt anything on me. Man or woman. Child or older folk. I will kick you dead in the face for attempting.) I've always been told that it's never the initial hit that hurts. It's the after effects that does the damage. Speaking of being hit in the nuts (why I am talkin about this....?) I saw a clip on youtube (old Steve Harvey show) with some guy that can kick himself in the nuts.... In other news, I saw a deer up close for the first time today, or rather last night. It didn't have antlers and I want to say it was gray, but being dark outside, can't really tell. (No street lights..)

So I've gotten back into the groove of reading this, and as of now I'm currently reading chapter 25. While I've yet to get that hooking moment yet, there have been some impressing moments. All revolving around Erza
and her weapons and armor changing. It seems a bit pervertish because she's showing skin (somewhat) but her speed in changing and to continue on the attack
is quite something. If you can't tell she's become my favorite character at the moment. I don't really know if I like Natsu. (It took Luffy a while to grow onto me too) This whole "reckless nature" type of character is becoming increasingly tiresome, especially for main characters. What won me over with Luffy was his dedication to his crew. And while Natsu carries that same trait, I've yet to see it really shine, and at the same time I don't know if I can put up with stupidity over so many arcs again. Yeah, this
stealing of the "S" class job
has gotten a bit under my skin. Gray is interesting, but he has really done much to impress me. I don't know if I really like Lucy at all. Speaking of not liking, I did manage to see an episode of Rave Master and saw that little thingy...
When I saw Lucy summon that thing from the key
, first impression was "WHY?!" I can't stand things like that. _____________________ Uh yeah, I just finished reading ch 135, and my opinion on the series as a whole has changed quite a bit, for the worst, unfortunately. It's not a bad series, it just has a lot of elements that turns me away. Fanservice being the #1 target. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it's a light version of Tenjho Tenge. And like TT, it has that one character that stands out the most, but the fanservice ruins it for me. Erza still remains my favorite character, and the earlier chapters are my favorite moments of her. Each armor revealed more skin, and it's at the point to where I'm getting fed up. Characters aren't really all that either. As I stated, Erza is my favorite, and Gray is up there as well, but there really hasn't been anyone else to really catch my interest outside of Mistgun, and, well,
he pops up whenever
. Gazille is pretty decent too, although, I feel like he's going to have that Vegeta moment... (Broly) And I'd lose all respect for him if he does. Don't get me wrong though, none of these characters are bad at all. It's just these characters don't do anything to keep me interested. I expected a lot more from Gerard as well as Luxus. A lot of these characters are drawn to look bad###, but they just don't really live up to it for me. (No one really had that Itachi, Byakuya, or Hiei effect on me yet. And I'm 130+ ch's in, so yeah.) Erza and Gray can only do so much to keep me interested. I wouldn't compare this to One Piece so much if it didn't look like it. And there are just too many elements here that are exactly like One Piece, and where One Piece truly excels at, Fairy Tail fails. And that is it's characters, for me at least. One thing I will give Fairy Tail is that it moves at a nice pace. Flashbacks aren't long at all. Fights don't last forever. Everything just keeps going at a steady pace. While I will continue to read this, I won't follow this as heavily as One Piece or Bleach. (Bah, now I need something new to read.)

A little shocking.. (While it wasn't ruined, I did find out ahead of time at another forum.) But then again it don't change that this series is starting to lose its steam for me. I knew it was only a matter of time before this happens too. This could also be the fact that I hate it when one character is being showed entirely too long. I hated this in Bleach and as well as Naruto. This is a series with a large amount of characters, and for me, a break from Luffy is needed.

Man, I'll be 25 next month and don't really have much to do. What the heck do 24-25 year olds do these days?
Sometimes I wish mosquitoes didn't exist. I must have gotten bitten a dozen times today, in spite of having stuff on that's supposed to keep that from happening. XP
Sometimes?

362 Shunsui looks kind of weird without his hat.. Starks release is awesome. Gunslinging in a samurai-ish setting... (The convo between Stark and Lily was pretty funny... To see him crack his head with the gun...) Pretty good chapter overall. 363 Ukitake just became even more interesting. Starks deducing skills is pretty sharp. It's the Wonderguy... Not that I really mind it, but I don't see the attraction he's getting from people. I guess a lot of people are just into the wacky looking characters "shugs" To each their own. 364 They're finally free. And they're finally on scene.... Now where's Urahara, Yoruichii, and Isshin? 365 It's kind of funny to actually see a shocking expression on Yama-ji's face. Let's see...I can't really see Lisa's mask. I don't really care about the bird look on Rose. I can't see Love's mask. And I just don't like Hacchi's mask one bit. I still prefer Kensei's mask over all. I still want to see Bankai's over everything else.

Playing catch up and whatnot... 452 So with the fight being done and over with, Naruto goes back to clinging to Sasuke... "Sigh" This takes away his accomplishment in the fight against Pein, but I suppose I should've expected this. 453 I kind of forgot what I just read.... 454 More idiotism from Naruto... "I can't sell Sasuke out"... What the hell? Errr... Ok, he really need to just die now. Danzou.... Your arm and eye.... I'm more curious about you now. What connection does Danzou have with Orochimaru. 455 DIE NARUTO! Hey, Danzou has the sharingan... But, but Itachi said there was only 3 uchiha folks... Danzuo = Obito? Orochimaru found Obito's body?
Guesswhatguesswhatguesswhat?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I have a face. =O
This is perhaps the most randomest comment I've seen all day today. Needed a good laugh. Especially since I have to put up with this teacher tonight. My keyboard is giving out. >_>

Smart remark from me would be more like "Whatever the hell you find". "Whoever is hiring" is the realist answer you're going to get from me (without being sarcastic) since the economy is garbage, and you have to go with whatever for now. (stripper, car wash, hitman) As I've stated, you don't need us to determine what job/career you should go for. It gives off the impression that you let others make your decision for you. But since you think I'm being smart and sarcastic... whatever. God bless. In other news. I skipped the writing assignment where I was suppose to explain how to factor them polynomials (It's late already, and I rather not stress about it anymore) and went to our next writing assignment which is to explain what the rectangular coordinate system is... YAY >_>. It was easier, but at the same time the thought of having to turn in a writing assignment every Friday for a math class is still on the brain and is annoying as ever. Edit: Oh yeah, Chibi, [strike]don't believe what you're hearing from Lunox and Rach. I recommend dropping out or never going from jump street.[/strike] I think it sort of depends on what college you're going to. I'm not in a university so I could have it a little easier than most or vice versa, and it can also depend on your teacher(s) too. I have a BSing math instructor that believes you should sacrifice everything to be in class (hence why I can't make up quizzes or get makeup notes) that day even if you can't make it. (Weddings, funerals seems to be non-existant to this lady. If someone was in an accident then what...? Sacrifice going to the hospital to be there. ...Right. I think I'm going to change instructors or something.)
What job should I get? Please help me out guys with this one.
Whoever is hiring. Shouldn't really need help on that. That's like having someone determine what you should be when you grow up.

Really ****ing annoying.

Tell me about it. I swear, as much as I dread writing, I'm going to boycott if I don't get composition next quarter. I need to learn how to do this stuff if these instructors (that has no business giving these types of assignments) are going to keep giving me writing assignments. (Did I mention that there's a writing assignment due each Friday in this math class?) The one that's due this Friday though, hopefully should be a little easier to write since it's dealing with the coordinate plane

"Sigh" Crappy day yesterday, and having an even crappier day today. (Well, it's not really all that crappy outside of trying to do this homework.) These instructors are ridiculous. I have college math 1 on Friday's and most of our work (homework) mainly consist of writing assignments..... (WTH!!!) Is it even possible to write a whole page on math problems? The assignment that was due 2 Friday's ago was to give a step by step explanation on how to factor each problem: (Which I'm just now getting to) 1) 9 - x2 (don't know how to type exponents) 2) 4x2 + 81 - 36x 3) 4y2 + 16y + 16 4) x2 - 25 ____________ x + 5 To get full credit, it has to be a full page. (>_>) I've yet to have a composition class so writing is still very hard for me at the moment. The very first assigment that was due was a writing assigment where I had to explain the advantages of scientific notation. These assignments are worth 30% of our grade, and then quizzes (which we are not allowed to make up if we are absent) are another 30%. Group quizzes is worth 10% and Homework quizzes are another 10%.

Troy is like one of those spartan-like movies right? Yeah, I can't get into movies like that for some reason. Man, all I've been doing is tossing and turning trying to sleep all night, but couldn't get to sleep for nothing.

While I didn't cry or get choked up I will admit that this is quite the scene.
Lock-on's death. Haro didn't make it any better calling his name and whatnot.
Wow, I never posted here... I have quite a few openings that I like, but for the time being I'll just post 3 of them. Gundam 00 - Ash Like Snow Ghost in the Shell: SAC - Inner Universe (I think that's the name) It might be me, but this sounds a bit weird from what I usually hear... I haven't seen the series in a while so I could be imagining things... Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2ng Gig - Rise Same thing here.. sounds a bit different/off to me, but I could be imagining it. I may come back with a few more, but for now those are the ones I like the most at the moment, and BGM's are kind of hard for me to find at the moment.
Pointless fan service. That kills a series for me faster than anything else. Along with turning an apparently strong female character into fodder for the so called hero's bed. It's bad enough when they do it with the brainless ditsy types, but it's even worse when it's someone who until that moment, had more of a backbone.
Can't believe I forgot about this one. Yeah, most of the time if the fanservice is in small doses I can usually just brush it to the side. But if it's something that's going to be thrown in my face every minute it'll kill the series for me.
A character gets a new power that was not implied beforehand to be obtainable or even exist. It happens just when they need it and in an incredibly forced manner, just to make sure the plot moves along, no matter how clunky and pointless it feels. In other words, the basic method that Masashi Kishimoto uses to keep his stories moving.
You should really hate Kubo Tite then lol. Anyway, I can't stand it when girls don't do anything but act like damsels.
