Can't say that I empathize with Ginjo, but at the same time to hear that Soul Society were actually planning to kill the substitutes, yeah, I've always questioned SS's antics or whatever, but even I have to admit that's really low. Anyway, while I can't say that I enjoyed the chapter that much, I did like the artwork. Still not a fan of Ginjo's design, but I like Ichigo's new bankai design, and Ishida still proves to be just a waste of space. Honestly, what was the point of him being there in the first place other than to trying to get Ichigo to do things more rationally?

I don't know. At this point I'm assuming Ginjo was of captain status.

Man, even though I still post in other parts of the forum it feels like it's been forever since I've last posted in this section. Now all I gotta do is catch up on the OB Podcasts. Finally decided to drop the name Magus and just go with the nickname my family and friends call me.

In 8 years I'll be 35.... #### If I'm not back in school by then I'll probably be in Arizona or California with another job (perhaps dealing with architecture), riding around in one of the muscle cars (Camaro, Challenger, Charger, Mustang... 1 of those will be bought within the next year or 2), and probably paying off the rest of my student loans. As far as kids goes, I'm not really interested in them right now, nor am I looking to get married (mainly trying to get myself situated before looking for relationships and whatnot.. I don't mind the ocassional flirting here and there though), however, by that time who knows what will happen. Also, I'd like to at least pay a visit to Vegas and Miami/Orlando by that time as well. I don't do much traveling, so hopefully I get to do that. Hmm... Perhaps I'll be taking up some form of martial arts again as well. That's all I can think of for now.
I have set aside a lot of time to watch Fairy Tale, and I am currently on episode 49. I am not really surprised that the series is this long, because the world has a ton of depth. I kinda went in thinking it was gonna be just another Rave Master, but it really feels much different, and in a very good way, I think this show has tons of strengths, but the biggest one has to be the villains. I really like how they are built up to be really strong, but the main characters are just a bit stronger for the most part. I really disliked the evolution theme anime's like DBZ have, and I much prefer the person you root for to be more powerful. Being an underdog is fun and all, but it really gets old.
I also like how people usually return in the show, even if they were enemies.
This show is really addictive though... they know just when to end so that you are dying to watch another one. ( I could never watch this show on a week to week basis... it would drive me insane.) The only thing I dislike is the painful amounts of crying, friendship speeches, and fanservice.
Hmm... I really need to start watching that series again. I've only been reading the manga. When I first began reading Fairy Tail my problems were the characters themselves. Outside of Erza, there weren't any characters that really stood out, and at that time Erza stood out because of her "strong" role. She was no damsel and she could handle herself. I do remember when I first watched the series I felt that the female characters were more enjoyable though. So maybe it's a manga vs anime thing... "shrugs" But for the most part I still read Fairy Tail, but I hate Natsu (his type of character annoy me even more than damsels now) As for what I watched. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, that is the name of the animated movie with Brad Pitt right? Anyway, for the most part it was watching me, but from what I saw of the movie it was great, although, I'm kinda wondering if it's my love for great animation/artwork that made this movie shine so much. The voices, or rather Michelle Pfieffer's role as Eries (sp?) was probably the one that stood out the most. Can't explain it too well, but it seemed like Pfieffer brought out the seductive side and, well, it worked. Like I said, though I have to watch it again because I missed a lot of it.
If not all, then some of these characters would great assets to the new game. They replace those characters no one ever plays with like Tron, Storm, etc.
No one plays as Storm? Probably not on a casual level, but I've seen quite a few vids of higher level players using her.

EDIT: Guess there was no need for the spoilers since the chapter came out minutes after posting the spoiler. Anyway, I actually enjoyed this chapter a lot more than the previous chapter. More than likely it's because of the bankai's, but whatever the case, hopefully this'll come to an end soon because I've pretty much had it with these Xcution folks. And are my eyes deceiving me or am I seeing hollow-like eyes coming from Ginjo?

It's been a while since I've made a thread (I think... I've been working so hard that I don't even remember). Anyway, it's a pretty straight-forward question, although I'm fairly certain that this was asked once before, but I couldn't find it. You can usually find me playing action games that deals with a lot of hack n slash or beat em up. They're perfect for releasing some of that pinned-up anger. Speaking of which, I should probably get back into the Dynasty Warriors games since that's probably the best for releasing that anger. I think, after I bought Super Street Fighter 4 I've gotten back into the fighting genre as well (Only 2D fighters though). No where as serious as I once was, but I'd at least want to get back on a level where I was considered decent. I don't plan on ever going as far as entering tournaments, but I wouldn't mind going to one just to see what the atmosphere is like. That's about it. I don't know what Assassin's Creed or Metal Gear Solid would be considered as. And while I won't say that I don't play RPG's, it's just that the only RPG I have interest in is the Mass Effect series. Same with shooters, I'm only interested in the Halo series along with Gears of War series. (I do have Crysis 2 here to try out so yeah)
-
So I just finished up my 3rd run of Mass Effect (and still haven't really dove into ME2 yet), and decided to start a 4th run, this time as fem Shep. I'm mainly doing it to see how Jennifer Hale sounds, and so far I'm liking her more than whoever's voicing male Shep. Ruthless, Warhero, Vanguard is what I chose for her. I think I chose Space, Soldier and I forgot the other for male Shep. Anyway, after this run with fem Shep, I'll start up ME2.

Agreed. Tobi revealing who he is takes precedence over everything else. I mean seeing the previous jinchuuriki in action, well, so far it hasn't really struck an interest, but it'll be nice to see more of what they're capable of, and then the Kage showdown with Madara is great (I'd much rather see that than watch more Rasengan nonsense), but Tobi really is the only interesting villain left. I don't know if I see Naruto losing this fight. In a way I can, but seeing how we still have Sasuke vs Naruto, I don't know. Say Tobi do win, will Sasuke turn on Tobi? Then again, as much as I'd love to see Naruto lose, that would bring up perhaps some interesting moments/questions.

I can't say I expected it, but at the same time when you think about it it's not really much of a shocker considering all the other things SS have done in the past. With that said, I don't know what to believe anymore though. Kubo, you sly devil. I am more interested in next weeks chapter considering I'm anticipating Ichigo's look in bankai form now (and then I want to know what is actually the truth, and where does ISSHIN FIT INTO ALL OF THIS!!!!!????)

As I've stated in my status thingy, there's been quite a lot of talk about Mass Effect as of late, so I decided to fire it up again (Actually I just decided to finish up a game). I've clocked in about 25 hrs, and have just arrived at Noveria. Hopefully, I'll have this finished up before Thanksgiving so I can finally start playing ME2 along with trying to finish Assassin's Creed 2 (so I can finally start up AC: Brotherhood) and perhaps Metal Gear Solid 4, but in order for me to do that I'd have to step away from Street Fighter 4 for a while =(.

Well, I actually thought the fight would've ended quicker, but at the same time it was interesting to see Byakuya in a situation like that. I was expecting a better outcome instead of just a stab in the chest. Nevertheless, Byakuya remains to be my favorite though.
-
So I ended up buying the original Street Fighter 4 along with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Don't ask me how Uncharted is, because I haven't fired it up yet. Heck I've yet to beat the first one, nor have I even started the 2nd. It'll probably be a while before I get to them as well, considering I have so many other games on the back burner as well. Don't ask me why I ended up buying the original SF4 either. The only reason I can give you as that I figured I'd started from the original and work my way up just to see if I can get any better, and so far, I think I'm getting a little better as far as combo's go. I'm currently stuck on Ryu's Hard Trial where you do jumping HP/HK, crouching HP, Shoryuken, Shinku Hadoken (seem like somethings missing there)

Umm... Is it just me or was this overall fight between Byakuya and Tsukishima flatout boring? I don't know if it's because Tsukishima became tiresome, or if it's because Byakuya didn't really live up to my expectation during this fight. Part of it was because I really thought Byakuya was gonna end up one-shotting Tsuki. I mean, Byakuya basically said he'd kill him before his sword'll reach him. I should've known better though, because Kubo never follows through with words like that, but still, I was expecting more from Byakuya. I'm beginning to think Urahara should've fought Tsukishima instead, just to see the reactions on his face when he fight gigai's. Shocking for me to think Renji shined the most out of everyone.

A good chapter with Naruto in it? Kishi pulled a miracle. Finally, Tsunade basically telling Naruto to get his *** outta there, not to mention she's not relying on him. To see Naruto run straight into Tobi was quite a bit of a shocker too. Overall, this chapter was great all around.

For the most part I'm still reading, and with the latest chapter, perhaps I found that other character I've been looking for all along. You know the cool, calm, collected type (Itachi, Hiei-ish)The sword-weilding dragon-slayer.

Assassin's Creed: Revelation or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom? Tough choice.

I played some more rounds of Super Street Fighter 4: AE. I don't know why I put myself through this torture, but I did manage to win a few games on PSN. Had a few matches that came down to the wire. So far it seems that Juri is my best character even though I have lots to learn. I might just go ahead and main her and have Ibuki as my secondary. As fun as Yun is I just can't get the hang of playing as him and Juri just seems more like my kind of character, of course one would think I'd play better as Ryu even though I'm terrible with him. Ibuki just seem like a lot of fun. Had a match against an Ibuki player with Juri and he did some sick mixups and crossups that made me want to learn Ibuki. Also fired up Batman: Arkham City, and while I think it's miles high above Arkham Asylum (We already know I didn't care much for that game), it does leave you hanging a bit. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind not being held by the hand but it can seem a bit overwhelming because it don't really give you much on what to do. There are quite a few side missions I have on the map and I'm like where do I go first? Other than that I like what I'm seeing with Arkham City so far. I still have so many games in my backlog that I need to play, and yet, I'm still looking for stuff to buy. I think I'm going to go on a game diet after Assassin's Creed: Revelations come out (I think I won't buy anything else until I beat at least half of these games)

I'm curious about who else is in on this plan with Madara. I think I saw "our" plan mentioned more than once since the revealing on Madara. (It'd be real funny if it was the 2nd hokage)

I just finished watching all of Fullmetal Alchemist - Brotherhood (I actually bought the entire series) and it was quite epic. I've always said that Ed and Al practically ruined the original anime for me, especially Ed because of his brattiness. Even with all the secondary characters in the original I feel they still ruined my experience. Here in brotherhood, I enjoyed them quite a bit, although I really do wish the original VA for Al would've returned. Anyway, I don't consider anything perfect but FMA was close to it. The music was great. The acting was great and then the characters were great. Even Winry, one of those damsels-in-distress type of characters that I usually can't stand is even liked by me, but Mustang continues to be my favorite by far with Olivier following close behind. The animation, while it's no Ghost in the Shell: SAC, it is still really good. And truth be told I'd really like for Bones to handle all forms of shonen anime from this point onward. Now what to watch next....
So guys, is this series still reading like a bad fanfiction of itself? Because I'm almost willing to torture myself with it again.
I suppose this is picking up steam again, but for the most part I'd say it's a snooze fest until this chapter. Speaking of which, really, how overpowered can one get? Hashirama must've been a beast.
