(idiot) Well, I've tried to ignore it, but when it's that clear, one can't help but to critique it. Kubo should've just gone ahead and have Ulquiorra walk away and then disappear declaring Ichigo as the victor. I suppose the only difference was that Ichigo had horns this time around. Despite all the similarities and the hideous transformations, I still give this fight about a 3/5. I was entertained by the fighting alone. Ishida was stupid. Orihime was annoying. (I have no pity for her being an emotional wreck. She shouldn't have went up there in the first place.) And they murdered some of the moments for me. I do agree with you though, Megiddo, somewhat. While I'm against trying to predict outcomes or what's going to happen next (I suck at them so I try not to do it lol), but it was pretty much clear as day as to what was going to take place. [size=1]I just finished watching the first episode of [b]Sengoku Basara[/b]. It's, um, interesting, to say the least. While I recognize some of these characters from the game (but then again, I've never gotten far in the game either), there are a few that I don't know at all. Specifically speaking about some girl dressed in an all black, skin-tight outfit (You can definately tell where your fanservice is going to be coming from.), and I think she's suppose to be a ninja.... One thing I'm not too sure will fit here is the comedy. It just throws everything out of whack for me, considering who the comedy is coming from. Yukimura and comedy just has me going "....." It don't fit him imo. The action also gives me a mixed opinion. I know I'm basing all of this from the game (bad Magus bad.) but I was under the impression that the fighting was going to be a little bit more realistic (Think Moribito) but it's more like Naruto/Bleach with all the fire and stuff. (I know it's in the game, but not as heavily as it is here.) Don't get me wrong, the fighting is still pretty good though, but coming from Production IG, this is something I'd never expect them to do. "shrugs" The animation is nice. Not much to say about it lol. It's Production I.G. afterall, lol. Pretty decent first episode though. If this were to come to the states, I'd watch it.[/size] ______________ Edit: I'm not a mecha buff or anything, but it seems to have the action that I crave, so I may give more shows a try in the genre. I'm still waiting for comcast to put on some more episodes of [i]Gundam Seed Destiny[/i], so I'm being occupied with [b]Code Geass[/b] 1st season, but comcast only has episode 13 up, and I'd like to catch it from the beginning. I hope they continue to play the series out before taking it off because I see a lot of potential in this series. The first time I came into this series I was a little skeptical about it taking place in a school setting and all. (That type of setting screams fanservice.) But I figured that this can't possibly have more fanservice than the first episode of Ikki Tousen: Great Guardian's first episode (DO NOT WATCH IT). I did see a couple of episodes of the 2nd season, and people seem to have a problem with it. Fighting-wise, I'm impressed. All that other stuff.... I have no idea what's going on lol. It seems to have a pretty decent group of characters.... I think.

This other forum I go to talks about this series almost as much as, we'll say people talking about Rurouni Kenshin. (I won't go as far to say Bleach or Naruto.) So I had to see what the hoopla was about. So I checked out [b]Ikkitousen: Great Guardians[/b] thinking that it was going to be an improvement of what Rach stated. There's some parts of me that wants to keep watching because this first fight in the first episode is the type of fighting I look for in anime. The animation is consistent (atleast it is of what I've seen so far of it.), and character models look good. (No I'm not being a perv) Judging from that first fight there was no hideous looking character. What could've possibly killed this anime for me? The fanservice. Seriously, the first 30 seconds of the opening fight you are showered with breast and panty shots. Going a little deeper into the episode all I saw was jiggling breast, panty shot, breast grabbage. It's ridiculous. Edit:[size=1] I also checked out [b]Ikki Tousen[/b] a little bit earlier (stupid), and, wow, comparing that 1st season and Great Guardians together, it's almost like GG is a different series altogether, animation-wise. The animation is horrible in the first season or whatever it is. Everything else is pretty much the same though.[/size]

I have to retract some of the things I've said about Gears now that I've had the time to play more of the campaign mode itself instead of the multiplayer aspect of the game. First I want to quote something James said that was the main reason why I didn't like Gears the first time I played. I'm more of a run and gun type of person... Goldeneye/Halo. Now that I've gotten more used to it though, it's not so bad. I've even come to like it a little more, but I still prefer the more fast paced stuff. The characters.. Forget that. Marcus Fenix is probably one of the greatest characters to be created in a FPS. He plays that leadership role quite nicely, and whoever does the voice for him is spot on. It fits him perfectly. Graphics are great, no doubt about it. I don't even need to speak on it really lol. Character models could use a makeover, somewhat, well, facial structures I mean. Um.. Now where I'm at in the game.... I don't know lol. I just started driving. Trying to get used to driving again since the last game I played that invovled driving vehicles was Halo, and it's been a long time since I've played it. The part before all of that, while easy was a tad bit annoying. [spoiler]I hated the security system's weapons being used on me so much.[/spoiler] Took me a while to figure out how I was suppose to go through everything. I'm thinking about buying the first Gears of War now, but I've definately gotten a lot more interested in the FPS games in general. I still want to get Halo 3 that's for sure. I think I may even get into the Call of Duty games, but then again, army based has never been my thing so I may do the Rainbow Six games instead. We'll see as time press on.

[b]Gears of War 2[/b] - As I've stated before (I think), multiplayer is not my thing, but when it comes to a campaign mode I'm all for it. I'm digging this game a lot more now that I've actually had time to play the game by myself. It's not as bad as I've made it out to be, but it's not exactly the best thing either. I know for certain that it pretty much forces you to take cover, and I'm still trying to get used to that. I'm more of a run and gun type of person moreso than a stop and pop. The graphics are nice, but the character models could use a little bit of work imo. Speaking of characters. These are quite the characters. I get a Wolverine-ish vibe from Marcus Phoenix for some oddball of a reason. I can't remember the other folks names, outside of Carmine, who, btw is an idiot. Overall, from the 3 hours I've played of the game, I'm digging it quite a bit.

Anyway, as with Bleach, I've caught up with Naruto as well. First and foremost, I don't really care about the look of the 6-8 tails. The bone-look just don't do much for me. The little bit with Naruto speaking with Minato was pretty decent. Funny, with Naruto punching him in the gut, and as I've stated, I'd be dead if I ever did something like that lol. Hinata, idiot, lol. I'm not into all this lovey-dovey stuff so her confession don't mean much to me. I think I said it before that I was never a fan of hers, but at the same time I never hated her either. With that said though, she's gained a few points from me for showing that she can have a backbone (unlike Orihime), but like the last time, it don't mean a thing when you're up against better characters lol. This overall fight has been fairly entertaining. And while I have gained some respect for Naruto (don't get it twisted. I still don't like him), and am very glad that he's using his brain... (He's graduated from being dumb to being average) I do wish this fight was handled differently. The use of those Rasen Shuurikens earlier in the fight was used stupidly, and I believe he (Naruto) could've taken them other bodies out without the need for using those Shuurikens. But I've said this before and I don't want to bore you with that again. I was impressed with Naruto after returning to normal and the usage of his clones and the Rasengan. (I can't believe I'm saying that after I said something about wanting variety) That just goes to show that if people use their heads when using these types of attacks they can be more entertaining. Speaking of entertaining. I do wish that there would be more teamwork incorporated into some of these fights.. Just to see different types of combination attacks. Edit: There are some spoilers, but I'm too lazy to copy and paste. However, Neji is ignoring orders and head off to catch up with Naruto... FINALLY. I can't stand this "Leave it to Naruto" crap, and besides, we just might get the chance to see Neji fight again... Neji vs Konan? (Crosses fingers) That's not what I'm posting for though. I'm rereading this fight between Sasuke and Deidara. I've also reread the encounter between Kakashi/Naruto and Deidara, but didn't see Kakashi use it during that fight. How does Deidara know about Kakashi using the Chidori? It's been bugging me for a long time.

[b]Gundam Seed Destiny[/b] - 1st three episodes of it anyway. Finally get to see a Gundam show from the beginning. Unfortunately, it's not 00 (I regret not seeing it when I had the chance :(), but it is a Gundam show that I've never seen, nevertheless. First impressions... Action-y, right up my alley. It's colorful too. It has that weird character design that I don't care much for though. I'll adapt though. I've heard quite a few folks names that begins with an "A" (I think) and they all sounded the same.. I have to hear them again though. It's pretty good so far. Although it's kind of confusing.. The main character(s) is who now?

I'm not familiar with sub voice actors so that stuff don't really matter to me. I did manage to check out about a good 2-5 minutes of it (opening and the little fight between Ed and Al and that guy who looks like that guy on the train....), and while I stand by my opinion of not caring for the character models, that animation is really impressive. The water, buildings and explosions look really good. Not really digging the OP theme, but that never really bothered me unless it's real catchy or real annoying. With that said though. I'm still very skeptical about trying to watch this again.

[b]Step Up 2[/b] - I've never seen the 1st one, and when it comes to these type of movies I generally tend to watch them only for the dancing. (or band, or whatever the element that's being supported.) With that said, I've never seen this movie from a story perspective. I'd always fast-forward through everything just to see the dancing. (which is amazing in this.) This time I actually tried watching this for the story and it's just too sorry. The actors are horrible, and the story is just "huh"... A girl being kicked out of her crew for going to school.... Really? And to make matters worst, she didn't tell them about it. Oh goody, now they're really pissed because she's getting educated and they're not... That issue is too small for someone to get upset over, (and it's sad because there are people out there that would actually hate on you for similar reasons.) let alone for a story. (It's not hooking material.)

I'm gonna read One Piece a little later on.) and from what I've seen from these chapters, they're not as bad as people were making them out to be. Orihime was indeed the annoyance factor once again (seriously, "what to do?" was the best thing she could come up with... How about attempting to heal him), and I continue to hate her for it. I also stand by my little rant about Ishida being stupid... I see what he was doing, but he was still stupid nevertheless. The highlights on these chapters was the fighting, but what killed it for me was the forms. I don't like neither Ulquiorra's nor Ichigo's transformations. They look like silly jokes that aren't meant to be taken seriously. I don't have anything to say about Yammy appearing in front of Rukia and gang.

Got my weapons to carry over and everything, so now I'm just having a little bit of fun just hacking away at enemies, and trying to do some of these fancy combos I've seen in some of these videos. I also tried playing the game on Path of the Mentor for the first time, and pretty much died right on sight lol. I think I'll continue to play on Warrior for a little bit to build up skills and try to memorize some of these button combinations seeing how I only know the combination for the Izuna Drop for the Dragon Sword, Falcon's Talon and the Lunar Staff. I want to try mastering the Blade of the Archfiend. They're my favorite, but I kind of suck with them at the moment lol. What else. No telling when I'll actually start playing Tales of Vesperia. My brother's been playing Infinite Undiscovery, and seems to be addicted to that, somewhat, so I'll probably give that a try a little bit later on down the line. I may even cave in and try an actual playthrough of Gears of War 2. (If I can be bothered with trying to, that is.)[/FONT]

[FONT="Franklin Gothic Medium"]Roller coasters.... The last time I've been on a roller coaster was last year, and that was at Michigan Adventure... (Boring place. Mainly for those who likes swimming.) But before that it was roughly around 6-9 years since I've been on any type of roller coaster. I've never had any type of tension pains after riding them. Nerdsy brought up the whole hanging coasters... If I ever decide to go back to cedar point or six flags (mainly six flags though), I'd be very cautious of them hanging coasters seeing how those're the ones that I've been hearing about with all the decapitations and stuff. The only stand up coaster I've been on was the Mantis. While it wasn't as bad as I originally thought it would be. It was a bit uncomfortable though. It's suppose to be a standup coaster, but there's this "seat" there that's between your legs while your standing... I never did understand the point of that thing. I don't really do roller coasters too much nowdays though. After watching Final Destination 3, I've become somewhat insecure about them haha. That, and I'm not much of a thrill seeker anymore.[/FONT]

It's always been poor on story and acting, but now it's just ridiculous. Even the matches aren't as exciting as it used to be. I've been invited to go see Wrestlemania at a friends house this Sunday. I'm going only because of the free food. If it wasn't for that I would've passed on going.[/FONT]
