[FONT="Times New Roman"]Not entirely. I know about DC, Marvel and Dark Horse, but never really read anything from them. As you can see in my sig that I've been watching Wolverine and the X-Men and I think it's really good. Of course, I grew up on the X-Men cartoon from the 90s (Spider-Man and Batman as well.) Saw a character in WatXM (Domino) that I've never heard of before, and seeing how I was playing this card game called VS System for a little bit, and I thought it was time to expand the my knowledge about these marvel characters that I know nothing about. Anyway, I'm looking to jump into the comic world. Just like anime, I'm an artwork freak. I'm looking for more modern age-ish comics. I've been told about Ultimate X-Men and Spider-Man. Are there any others? Any good comics in DC with some good artwork? Oh yeah, I'm a fan of X-Men (I don't mind single character comics either), Spider-Man, Batman, Deadpool and Justice League. I feel as if I left something off.[/FONT]

This chapter was better than the last, but it's still "meh". Seeing Ichigo with his mask can only go so far in keeping ones interest before losing it's steam. And I'm growing fairly tired of it as of now. If Kubo's gonna show someone with masks... Show Shinji inc again.[/FONT]

So I checked out episode 2 (snippets) against my better judgment. Yet again, I am really impressed with what I'm seeing, and as a matter of fact, Soul Eater has the potential of becoming a top favorite. The only thing that's really holding it back for me is the fact that I have to wait for it to be dubbed. (/nit-pick) Trying to watch this subbed is a bit hard for me since I hate multitasking. I'm a slow reader and I hate the idea of pausing to read, especially if there's a fight going on. As I've stated though, I'm sold on the series. (After 2 episodes... GitS:SAC still has the record of hooking me through it's 1st episode alone.) The fighting and the animation is really amazing. And I take it back about having the feeling of one of them Shin Megami Tensei games. I now know why this series looks more like a videogame. (I had no idea, or rather I completely looked over the fact that it was done by Square.) Anyone ever heard of a game called The World Ends with You? This show has the look of that game to it imo. I wonder if the guy behind the artwork has anything to do with this. Is anyone following the manga? Does the anime follow the manga? How is the manga compared to the anime? (I've already established that I like the animation) I gotta talk about a certain idiot now. Black Star. He's so interesting, yet, at the same time he's so annoying. He has the same annoying qualities that Naruto has, but the difference(s) between this guy and Naruto (besides the clothing) is that this guy is actually funny. And from the looks of things, he looks like he knows how to use his head. (PRAISE GOD!) I did happen to see a sneak peek of episode 3. [spoiler]Death the Kid[/spoiler] looks like an interesting character, however, [spoiler]the Ginyu/Saiyaman poses caught me off guard.[/spoiler]

(We're literally in the center, between a lot of cities..) What is Detroit noted for, besides no jobs and some of the most dummest criminals? (I swear they can piss you off if you see the type of crap they're pulling these days.) Cars and music... Well, I don't know if I'd say we deserve that title "Motor City" anymore with the way the big 3 is at the moment. (Or is it officially the big 2 now? I hate keeping up with the news.) We're also called Motown for having most of the famous singers like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and quite a few more people that slips my mind at the moment, being born in Detroit. I guess the last thing we're noted for is the worlds worst football team. 0-16, meh, they should just go ahead and sell the Lions. Other than that, that's about all I know about Detroit. (You would think there's stuff to do in Detroit, being a famous city and all.) I've also been in Arizona (Avondale) for a good month and some change. I was suppose to go to school there, but they didn't have the program I wanted so I ended up going for nothing. (I was suppose to have went to Sacremento, CA) But I ended up using that month of spare time as vacation time, sorta.... Only thing is I didn't have much to do. No car, and roommates were already going to class then. If I had done things a little differently though, I'd still be in Arizona at this moment.[/FONT]

It's not something I'd say I like, but it's pretty entertaining. My only gripe at the moment is Train's sudden personality change. He's gone from being all moody to acting almost as wacky as Vash. Where/When did it happen? It's like a big chunk is missing somewhere between episodes 7 and 8. I was also watching [b]Bleach[/b] on Adult Swim. Read the Bleach thread for the rest of that. It's a rant lol. [b]Fullmetal Alchemist[/b] just went off. Destruction's Right Hand... As much as I liked Scar in this episode (as well as the next episode), Ed pisses me off just as much. I swear he get on my nerves when he can't get what he wants. [spoiler]Fiddling around in someone elses home, find something red in a little jar/bottle, and Al picks him, and Ed throws a hissy fit.... (Punch this fool in the face...)[/spoiler] It's garbage like that that makes me tired of this show. [b]Death Note[/b] is on now. I forgot what episode this is... I think it's there episode where [spoiler]Misa introduces herself to Light.[/spoiler] Last time I watched this series I was disappointed in how the 2nd half turned out. So much was removed from the manga till it lost its steam and excitment. But I've been in the mood to watch it again.. Maybe I should just read the manga instead. Well, that's a lot better than nothing, but at the same time I'm still not seeing the reason to constantly use the Rasen Shuuriken. As I've stated before, all he's really doing is just sapping his chakra. And he's proven my point, he can just as easily wipe these bodies out with a simple Rasengan. Don't get me wrong, I like that Naruto is finally using his head though. (I suppose I should cut him some slack.) I just don't like the idea of constantly using the Rasen Shuuriken (neither as a diversion nor as a simple attack.) in this particular situation. And I'm obviously missing something here. Where's the real Naruto body? Is it on the battlefield or is it back at the mountain? If it's at the mountain, then all that I said can be null and voided.
