Been reading this again. On 137, and I've been thinking if this ever had a chance to get animated I'd like for Bones to handle the animation, considering the work that's been done with Fullmetal Alchemist and Soul Eater, this series should be handled by one of the best. Bones remains consistent through a series and the animation is always top notch. The action in Psyren moves at a rather fast pace. Nothing drags. So yeah, I would think this would be perfect for Bones to handle. Dang, Grana, Junas and Matsuri are some great characters. (Kagetora and Kyle too)

Finally got some more time to watch anime (actually, I've always had the time it's just I choose games over it). Been catching up on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I have the entire collection (I've had it for about 2 months now) and just now getting around to it. I've probably said it already but I really enjoy Brotherhood over the original and that's most because I don't find Ed and Al to be annoying in this version whereas, in the original they got under my skin, especially Ed. Anyway, I just finished watching episode 7. Also, I ordered, Gundam 00 part 1, Code Geass season 1 collection, and Darker Than Black. I'm not a fan of mecha but I did like both Gundam 00 and Code Geass (probably the only 2 mecha series I'll probably buy/watch). Darker Than Black on the otherhand, I'm kind of going in on a blind buy. I've only seen the 1st 5 episodes and haven't watched it since, mainly because I could never find the time to watch it as well as, I just couldn't find it in me to bother with trying to pick it back up. I'm hoping it does get better than what I've seen from the 1st five though.

Izuna is Madara's brother right? I'll accept that theory over Tobi being Obito.
-
It's funny, I was considering dropping this series and then a new mystery appears. Well, an old one resurfaces and rears its ugly head. That means I have to put up with more Tobi = Obito garbage... >_> Anyway, I didn't think the chapter was good, but I that is quite the twist. It's safe to assume that's what Kabuto showed Tobi. Now to play more guessing games (reading stupid theories) about Tobi's identity.

More Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition madness. Even though I said that I officially hate fighting games I can't seem to get away from this because I really want to learn it (The hate is actually one of those discouraging phases where you lose so many times and think you're not getting it). I stopped using the arcade stick because it was even more of a hassle for me and bought the Hori fightpad that Asher suggested, and for the most part it's a lot better than I thought it'd be and I'm getting better at FADCing, a little. I never picked up Fei Long, but I tried Cody. I lost a lot. I think I won maybe 3 matches outta 20 or something. The more important thing though is that this pad is comfortable in my hands and the only gripe I have about this pad is that the R shoulder buttons are the same as the R face buttons. No matter what you change them to all 4 will be the same, and while it takes a little while to get used to, I was actually hoping that Hori or whoever would make another to fix this. Anyway, I dropped Cody (or rather, he'll be my 3rd character) and picked up Yun and Yang. I never liked 3rd Strike (although I may be convinced to get it for these 2), but these twins are fun to play as. I probably won't go online anytime soon because, I'm not good at all. I know their target combos, but their links and chains are some that will take a while for me, and then I need to learn spacing, pokes and whatnot. It's a shame that the only 2 fighting games I have are Super Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3 but I've only been playing SSF4. I really should be putting in the time to learn MvC3 as well. Still playing Assassin's Creed 2. Getting ready to escort Ezio's family out of the city. I was further than that once before but started over because I did something stupid with my ps3.... Anyway, this series is shaping up to become one of my favorite series. I probably don't need anything to buy right now because I still have a ton of games that I haven't started or beaten, but now that we are heading into the months where good games are actually coming out I feel the need to buy some games. There's Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City and then to go old school, Ninja Gaiden 2 (xbox 360), I've beaten it quite a few times and I even had NGS2 but I couldn't get into it. I'm even thinking about buying some DS games for a change, of course I've already been recommended some but I never got around to buying them. I wasted everyone's time with that thread :).

Agreed. Seeing each bringer go down one-by-one is starting grow thin, but at the same time, it's a good thing these fights are only lasting a chapter. It would be a repeat of the VC's and the fracciones if it weren't and we don't need that again. But truth be told, I'm sick of these fullbringers already. I'd like to move on from them. And you already know, Gavin that Byakuya and Ichigo won't take place next. You still have Rukia (yawn). Edit: You called it Gavin. Byakuya vs Tsuki this week. Kinda shocking too, since Tsuki is the 2nd big baddy of these folks. At the same time, I didn't really think much of this chapter either. This looks like one of those chapters that'll be better when animated. But still, Tsuki's abilty is very dangerous, being able to do stuff like that. I'm actually curious to see how Byakuya is gonna get out of this, considering he never loses, but to see how he thinks his way out of the situation is what makes me like Byakuya the most.

Nicktoons've been airing a lot of DBZ movies as of late, and while I'm pretty much fed up with the DB series I still wanted to check some of them out. Broly's 2nd coming was on last night and boy was that annoying. Goten and Trunks are too annoying, especially Goten. I've always looked at clips of Gohan vs Broly and thought it was going to be a good fight and for the most part it was decent, but overall the movie itself was just sheer annoyance. Been reading Naruto, Bleach, and Fairy Tail. I'm pretty much bored with Naruto. The stuff I've hated about Naruto has reared its ugly head yet again. There are so many characters in this seroes and every last one of them became incompetent to the point to where they have to rely on Naruto. Where are the folks who can take care of themselves at? Bleach has been highly entertaining,
especially with the arrival of the soul reapers
. Don't get me wrong, you knew it was going to happen, because Kubo is terribly predictable that way, but his delivery of that moment is what made it good. It's a good thing these fights are no longer than a chapter because I don't want anymore sandbagging with these fullbringers. They were dull to begin with. Fairy Tail has been a rollercoaster for the most part. This latest arc has been entertaining, but at the same time it's been corny as well.
You would think a guild led by the former guild master would be way more competent then they were
, but then again I want to blame the writer for that because it's like he backed out of having Fairy Tail actually suffering defeat.

This war just took a turn for the worst now (for me). When this war started we had competent ninja's on the field. Now it's seems like the only competent one that's left is Gaara (don't know how Kakashi's holding up). Everyone else has to wait and rely on Naruto... The Raikage needs to be on the field or something.

I officially hate fighting games. They're way too demanding and I don't have the time I'd like to have to put into them anymore

I like them because they're good to blow off steam with. I could never do stuff like serious competitive gaming with them, though.
-
Well, I don't really play them alone anyway. Fighting games are balls of fun with people you know. :<

I was playing a couple of rounds of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition against my brother-in-law (online O_O) yesterday, and for the most part, I got whipped, but I did better than I thought I would. I tried using my arcade stick but man, it's hard to adjust. Then I switched over to the pad and while I did better, I still had a hard time doing some of the moves because of button placements. I think I'm going to buy one of those fighting pads with the 3 buttons lined up next to each other. I tried Ryu but to my surprise I found him to be very difficult to use because, well, I haven't been practicing like I should've, but even then, trying to Shoryuken > FADC > Ultra was just not clicking with me, which makes me amazed at my brother-in-law that he was doing all those combo's on pad. I mean, me just even attempting some of that stuff had my thumb in pain, and he was doing those combo's like it was nothing. Anyway, I played a lot better with Guy, Cody and Juri. I couldn't do any Ultra's (couldn't think of them off the top of my head), but my performance was better than playing as Ryu. I couldn't do Guy's target combo because the PS3 controller is crazy difficult to try do any combo with. Anyway, I also got back into playing Metal Gear Solid 4 and Assassin's Creed 2, both of which I've never finished, let alone, got very far. I'm thinking about getting the MGS collection just because it's MGS and I'd like to play all of them on the PS3, but at the same time I'm not sure if I want to put myself through the torture of playing MGS2 again. I mean I like MGS 2 but there are certain areas that I just can't stand and I actually played them on normal and to find out that I get nothing but a camera for my effort put made me feel discouraged. At least in MGS3 I know I can get a lot more. And then I want to play Peacewalker. I'm thinking about buying the first Assassin's Creed just to see how it all started even though I had it once before but I traded it in because I didn't like it. And then transitioning from AC2 back to AC1 might be a pain because the gameplay in AC is just so much better than the 1st, but still I'm debating on whether I'd like to play it.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Assassin's Creed: Revelation. Playing the 1st Assassin's Creed for the 360 on a crappy tv turned me away from the series but then I ended up getting AC2 for the PS3 and I ended up loving it even though I never finished it. I even have AC: Brotherhood but I've yet to play it although I've seen playthroughs of it. Revelations looks just as good if not better even though Ezio is an older man. Anyway, have a look. Then there's Batman: Arkham City. I gotta be honest here. I didn't enjoy Arkham Asylum that much compared to everyone else who're praising it. No doubt it's the best Superhero game out but it didn't live up to my expectations. The combat was nice, but it just felt like it could've been so much more. The stealth part was great though. Anyway, AA at one point made me not even consider getting Arkham City because I thought it was pretty mediocre but seeing some of the vids to AC made me reconsider. It look like AC will be much better than AA.

And even Toshiro finally shows that he's deserving of his captain title. For these fullbringers to get beaten so easily, can they even measure up to the arrancar?
-
Wow, Renji's a badass once again. He finally beat someone without struggling. It's been how long now? Oh wait, he hasn't beaten anyone easily at all. But it's definately overdue for him since, well, it's not fair to have folks like Yumichika, Rukia, and Kira looking like they're stronger than him when he has bankai. He finally match his look.

Trying to find a website that shows anime at a decent quality sucks. Anyway, I finally managed to get caught up. From episodes 334-339 I have some mixed feelings over. The quality of the animation from earlier episodes of this arc just seemed to have vanished. With the return of the captains and whatnot you'd think they would go all out again with the animation, but it just looks meh. On the upside of that though, the episodes still kept me entertained.... Well, everyone except Kon. Man, I feel nothing for Kon whatsoever, and to have this arc based around him sucks, but the actual content of the arc made it worthwhile (There's a positive note for everything I guess). I think it was 338 where Nemu clobbered Kon. I enjoyed that. Seeing Urahara duke it out with himself was probably the highlight of the last 3 episodes. Now for some what-if stuff. Where was Kageroza at during Aizen's reign? While I don't think he would've made a difference at all, but I would like to see how he'd react to seeing Kyoka Suigetsu. Battle between who can be more smugged.... Edit: Episode 240 was a step up from the others in terms of entertainment value, however, I still have to say that Kon irritates the hell outta me. I do hate the fact that the Urahara vs Urahara battle was done off-screen. Seriously, off-screen finishes needs to stop. I don't know why they even exist to begin with. Nobody liked it when Wonderweiss did Kensei in off-screen then and nobody will like that garbage here. I gotta say nobody can do the friendship theme like Oda. He alone made me have a different opinion about the friendship theme because it's done nicely in One Piece (too bad I'm not feeling anything else in the series). I guess part of the reason I don't care about it here is because I don't care about the main cast of characters outside of Ichigo. Other than that it was still good.

Byakuya vs Tsukishima..... Ooooooh. This oughta be a good one. I need next week to hurry up and get here, or whatever week it's gonna happen.
-
That may be true, but what I've been seeing so far has been nothing but boring stuff. No name characters getting done in and then puppets getting done in by folks who shouldn't be able to fight them in the first place. The only interesting part of this war was the very beginning up to Kakashi vs the 7 swordsmen. I'm not a fan of Sasuke by any means, but I am entertained more when he has screen time?
-
Hmm... Don't know what to say about this weeks chapter. It wasn't bad, but I've seen better setup chapters. I can kinda see what Ginjo's beef with Ichigo would be (jealousy?), but for everyone else.... O_o???? Anyway, we get to see just how well these folks stack up against shinigami's.
-
It's about time Sasuke made an appearance. Hopefully this starts to ramp things up again because I found Naruto's arrival to be very annoying, not to mention, more Rasengan shenanigans. That's one of the main reasons why I've become bored with this series.

Hot fudge cakes I didn't even notice the other poster... My bad :)
One of those films where people don't get it and thus conclude it must've been a good film.
Huh? Perhaps I worded that wrong or something. I thought Inception was a great film. I had to really pay attention to it (thus watch by myself). I was basically saying that The Expendables was the last great movie I saw. I don't go to the movies these days and hardly anything good comes on tv anymore, and Inception just so happened to be on HBO and I was around to see it.
-
Bout time someone put Naruto in his place, and to think it's coming from Itachi. That's about all I got to say about the chapter. I've actually been bored of Naruto as of late. Guess it's one of those stages again.
-
So I just saw Inception for the first time yesterday. Outside of The Expendables it's been a while since I've actually seen a really good movie.

Good chapter this week, but I am curious, did they forget about Tsukishima? I see Rukia, Isshin and Urahara aren't in the same area, so I'm going to assume those 3 are keeping him company. And thinking about it now, with Ginjo being the first, how far back does this go for him to have a beef with Ichigo?
