After hearing that garbage with Naruto, I figure we needed some good stuff for a change.
Yama-ji appears Kira apologizes Yama-ji: “If you have time to bow your head to me, you should carefully look at the enemy” Allon screams while its left breast is being held downed Kira is surprised that it’s still alive. Yama-ji: “…It hasn’t been punished enough somehow” Allon ‘s right breast swells while it’s screaming. Yama-ji is going to strike again but his attack is dodged. Yama-ji: “Just a specter that can’t think of anything but killing others. How pitiful” “Flowing flame blade, Hitotsume (one-eyed), Nadegiri (killing in one sword sweep)” Allon’s body is cut into two parts. Even so, Allon is still alive and only its left part stand up. “Oh well, you still won’t give up? It’s depressing to kill such a pitiful beast like you many times over” Allon doesn’t even listen but it attacks him right away. “I told you to give up, don’t you understand, brat” Two pages showing Yama-ji swings down his sword and Allon is burned down. Then, next week.
Kind of sucks that we get to see some of the things that Old man Yama can do, but close to nothing for Kyoraku. It's still good stuff nevertheless.
Smoke surrounds Konoha(maru) and then Rasengan!! 猿飛一族の下忍、性は猿飛名は木の葉丸。覚えておけ、コレ!!! I am genin of the Sarutobi clan, last name Sarutobi, first name Konohamaru - remember that!! ペインやられる。 Pein is defeated
You gotta be ###### me. This has gone from nerfed to straight BS.
Hitsugaya beating Halibel
is more reasonable than this garbage. Let me know when Kishi comes to his senses and put out something decent. Konoharmaru.. "shakes head" Even if Kakashi's alive, this type of stuff makes me not even want to see anything else affiliated with Naruto.

It's old news but I'm just now getting wind of it recently, and figured I'll post it since it hasn't been posted yet. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-07-16/third-black-lagoon-anime-project-confirmed
The wraparound jacket band on Gen Urobuchi's novel adaptation of Rei Hiroe's Black Lagoon adventure manga has confirmed that a third anime project has been green-lit for production. The story revolves around a typical Japanese businessman who gets caught up in the escapades of modern-day pirate mercenaries off the Asian shores.
Um. Yay.
Oh well. Fine, fine we'll leave the TTGL crossovers and just go back to complaining how bad the plot is, how haxed Sasuke can become, how nerfed Naruto and Kakashi become and generally what idiots we are to keep faith in this series.
I laugh at you and anyone else that've put faith in the series. However, I am also an idiot for getting so bored to the point to where I'm forced to read it.

Watching Moribito - I'm upset that I missed episodes 3 and 4 on adult swim. Mainly ep3. (That one had the fighting.) Hopefully it'll get put on demand. Anyway, ep5 was more or less, the same as ep 1 and 2. Detailed information and stuff. I'm still being impressed with the animation and whatnot. Bleach - I haven't watched Bleach in a long time, and decided to check out this filler episode on adult swim. While it was fairly entertaining, I can't help but wonder why was the "smartest" student (Uryu) so stupid in this episode? I don't know what's going on, I just know Ichigo had the upperhand, and then comes Uryu being stupid... Character makeover? Scrapped Princess - Up to ep 16. Saw this
Furet
person and I have to say I like him now, and Shannon is kind of gettin on my nerves with some of this stuff he's complaining about. I still like him, but meh. Edit: Even though it's not anime, Avatar: The Last Airbender Edit 2: Shocking. Funimation finally decided to go on demand... (YES!! Better anime selection later to come... Hopefully.) With that being said, I did check out the first 2 episodes of Tsubasa: Resevoir (sp?) Chronicles, and I have to say that it's gonna take a long time for me to get use to something like this again. Seeing how I haven't seen Code Geass in a long time. The way these characters look-- the lankiness of these characters is just weird. I will say that the background scenery and whatnot is colorful.
Feh Naruto has his moments when he's not acting like an idiot, I think he's plenty capable of earning the right to use a Giga Drill Rasengan. ¬_¬ Tell me that isn't awesome ? Fanfic-y as hell yes, but awesome none the less.
Because Naruto's an idiot, and I'm anti-Naruto, I don't think anything that Naruto does would be considered "awesome". Ever. I'm also anti-Kiba, but a drill would be more fitting to him. (He is a drill afterall.) Just notice... Giga Drill? Huh? Edit: Nevermind, I see TTGL...
No fan... ignore me
Maps... (Man I hate maps like that.. lol) Anyway, so are we asking what we prefer to call pop? Pop of course. I should probably stay away from pop for a bit since I've had a little bit too much of it in the past 4 months. 2 giant 3 liters a day while I was in Arizona, and the regular 2 liters here in Detroit. I'm all for Dr. Pepper, but if I ever had the opportunity to mix flavor's I'd do it in a sec, just to see how it would taste. Sprite + Pepsi, Vernors + Pepsi were interesting combinations. To get weird with it, try mixing hawaian punch + pepsi + sprite together.
*Decapitation with non-cardboard, rice-paper cutting Zabuza sword* We'll have none of that talk here there's enough bloody people who obsess over that particular concept thank you very much.
Lol. Ok, I'll leave him alone for the time being.
This I do agree with, I don't just want to see bigger and bigger Rasengan creations until Naruto gets sued by Goku for ripping off his Spirit Bomb. I mean seriously, the Rasengan is the "pinnacle of shape manipulation of chakra" and yet isn't all that useful in battle given how up-close you have to get with it. It worked for Minato because the man was faster than practically anyone, but with Naruto...well you see my point. *Prays for Drill Rasengan*
I wouldn't even mind seeing a hadoken/kamehameha version of it at this point. I just want to see some variety.

Anyway, so is Sasuke going for those 2 elders and Danzou or the entire leaf village? Chances of reviving his clan has gone from slim to bleak. Then again, with Naruto and Konoharmaru always turning into women... So I saw that Naruto movie Saturday for the first time... Clash something in the snow. Seeing the rasengan and then turn around and read the chapter with the rasen shuuriken made me realize how tiring the rasengan is altogether. I'll admit the rasen shuuriken was impressive to look at, but as a whole it's just not impressive when you see Naruto keep charging in the way he is. Atleast we've seen different variations of the chidori. (body, sword, 2 hands) And then these people just sit there looking at him charging it up. Can't help but wonder "are you stupid or just flat out dumb" Throw something at the idiot. (A rock, kunai, shoe or something.) Long range fighters shouldn't have any problems distracting Naruto. I'm pretty certain that he has a short attention span. [/rant]
Personally I like the drawn-out detail. It's a chance for KT to show off his visual and martial imagination.
Agreed. Sort of. I don't mind drawn out fights especially when they're good. However, certain fights (like this fight with Matsumoto) gets drawn out more than it needs to be. Either they're gonna win or lose. It shouldn't be so drawn out to where it takes umpteen amount of people to beat 1 person. (thing) That was my biggest issue with everyone vs Szayel. It was way too draggy. When you're not impressed with someones fighting abilities, it makes it that much more tiring. That makes me wonder. We saw Iba jump in this fight. Where did Komamura go?

Since school started I haven't been putting much time into games as much as I use to even though I do have the time, I just cut back, so to speak. I've been watching more tv than playing games. Anyway, I've been bouncing back and forth between Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Metal Gear Solid 2. Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Playing on the easiest difficulty, yet had the hardest, yet funnest time trying to beat Bison. Of course I blame majority of my problems on my controller lol. It's real finicky. I've beaten the game as Ryu, Ken and Akuma so far. I think I might have the toughest time trying to beat it as Guy. He's too fast for his own good, and I forgot how to play as him. I just know he's my favorite character. Metal Gear Solid 2 - I have the Essential Collection copy, and I'm freezing the bombs on the plant. If I recall, after
meeting Vamp and Snake in that room which name escapes me at the moment
there was a codec call you would get in Sons of Liberty. And I think Rose ask if you'd want to save. On this copy, it's either been cut or I have to make the call myself... It's not important, nor is it bothersome. It's just something I noticed.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I was pretty damn shocked to see
that massive chunk taken out of her, and for him to be actually holding it a few pages later... urgh, it's really disturbing
o_o;
So it was a rip instead of a punch... And now that I've noticed that he/she/it was holding a chunk.... umm... ow... (even more) That actually makes me twitch on the inside a little bit. Wonders if Matsumoto's gonna die? Surely every shinigami there can use some type of healing, but I'm not certain if they can heal a womb that serious. And the healers are in Hueco Mundo.....
And leave Hitsugaya alone, you bigots. There's nothing wrong with him.
Haha. On the contrary. There's quite a few things wrong with him, IMO that is. Truthfully, I have nothing against the midget in terms of personality. Abilities on the other hand.... That's where my issues lie. But we've been through that a number of times lol. I agree with you on your other points though. Although, I don't mind seeing Ukitake in action. If anything I'd much rather see a little bit more of him fighting, and not him fighting a fraccion. I want to see him fighting at his best. Him and Kyoraku. I've never really had a problem in terms of things being predictable. I don't mind it. The only real unpredictable things that've happened in Bleach is long done. Shinji inc, Isshin, Aizen... etc. The only thing that would be unexpected at this point would be Toushiro defeating Halibel... Sorry, lol. ______________________________ Old man Yama finally stepped in. Hopefully, there won't be anymore time wasted on these fraccions, and we can just get down to the nitty gritty.
Oi, oi, no picking on Chouza just 'cause he's fat. He kicked *** at the last invasion like all the other elder generation and is one of the few other ninja with what I consider to be the "Iruka factor" whereby he gives a crap about other people, sure it's mostly Chouji but he's still a decent guy as compared to the ninja parents.
Haha, sorry Gavin, I'm with everyone else. Chouza is lame. And if I recall, all he did back in that invasion was some hand stomp (or something like that) and walked through the village... I don't really see that as doing much that deserves praise lol. Neji's pops did more work. Now fatherly figures... "Sigh" Call me cold or whatever, but I really don't see what's so great about these characters that're only there for moral support. (Iruka being the main target.) Show their worth on the battlefield (especially if they're suppose to be ninja's), Kishi, otherwise, they're useless cannon fodder. If anything, the Jounin instructors were more supportive and were still decent/good in battle. I do wish this invasion would just end already. I probably won't read it anymore until this invasion is over. I hate the reliance factor of Naruto, Tsunade is playing. It was fine the first two times, but now it's becoming tiresome.
Kakashi going to heaven.
LOL. Not likely.

So I've been watching the reruns every time I had the chance to catch up and whatnot. Majority of the episodes has been fairly enjoyable, although I found Sokka (Yay, I've learned the names of the characters..) to be fairly annoying for the most part, but I suppose I do understand him a bit. I've always been a fan of the fire element. It generally tend to mean people has anger issues :p, and I like that. Even in Naruto, anybody that can do some type of fire technique would get a nod from me here or there. Azula was pretty impressive with her blue flames. Is she the only one with blue fire? Boiling Rock was a giddy moment for me. Zuko vs Azula... Anyway, as I said, I've been a fan of the fire element and the way it was used by the people was most impressive, but imo earth bending is by far the most impressive bending I've seen so far. (I've yet to see anything major for the lightning bending) Perhaps it's just the way Toph uses it. I was sold when she used it as armor on that episode where they were suppose to be stealthy. (I think one of the last episodes, no?) Funny, because I didn't really care how Aang would use earth bending. Speaking of Toph, she's become quite a favorite of mine. Whether it's her earth bending, or just her silly sarcasm, she's grown onto me. Zukko's still the favorite out of all, but Toph is right up with him. Uncle's not bad either. Ruffio, Ruffio, RUF-FI-OOOOO!!! Sorry, couldn't resist. :) Edit: It's been a mixture of Book 1 and 2 that I've been watching. I'm not exactly sure if Nicktoons is playing these episodes in order. It's been like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Book 2. Thursday Book 1. Friday Book 3 I believe. _____________________________ Finally seen the whole series. And I'm really satisfied with it. If this was a shonen anime, I'd rank it as the best. Even the filler-ish episodes were decent. I'm not gonna talk too much about the story. I have to watch it again lol. Although, I will ask how come
Zuko never told Aang about Roku being his great grandfather?
I am really happy that the animation and artwork (character design) was consistent throughout the entire series. (Shonen can learn a thing or 2 here) No hideous looking characters duking it out on a slick background. Everything was nice and fluid. The background scenery in some episodes were astonishing. Particularly, the ones where everyone else would stare in aw of the towns/villages.
The giant turtle-lion was some piece of work
. (I'm a sucker for action and art. If both looks great, I'm sold no matter how bad the story is lol.) The action was great. (Bleach can learn here.) There was not a single fight where I didn't find myself glued to the tv. Whether it was bending fights or sword fights, I was glued to the tv. Voice acting was really good too. Only person I'm really familiar with is Dante "something" (sorry, lol). I did notice a few voices there that sounded real familiar. Lex Luthor and I think I heard Darkseid's voice somewhere in there as well. (I could be mistaken about Darkseid.. Voice actors can sound the same these days, haha.) Favorite character(s).. That's a toughy because I enjoy the entire cast even if I found Aang, Katara, and Sokka to be on the annoying side from time to time. But I'd say my favorites were Zuko, Toph and Iroh (sp?). Speaking of Iroh/u,
how long was he locked up for?
May (Mei?), Ty Lee and Azula were great characters as well.
Poor Azula.
:) I'm still impressed with Toph's metal bending. Using it as armor... One thing I don't understand is why's Azula's fire blue and everyone else is, well, fire? In any case, great series. I'm looking forward to Wolverine and the X-Men. It's been advertising all through the 3 day marathon.

Metal Gear Solid - I really need to get this on the gamecube. I didn't even get out of the first area and I'm freakin out, lol. Triangle as FPV... Man, that's hard to get use to. No shooting in FPV... Makes it even more scary. Metal Gear Solid 2 - Wow, it's been so long since I've played this game. Difficulty setting on very easy and I got spotted right at the beginning.... I forgot how to play... Well, I didn't really forget how to play, I was trying to capture my first guard. I'm suppose to collect all the dog tags for
infinite ammo and stealth camo
.... Metal Gear Solid 3 - I'm getting ready to start playing this again. I don't know if MGS1 or 4 has it, but I know one thing I can't stand in MGS2 and 3 is where
you're stripped of weapons, and have to rely on stealth.

Dementor Pein (That's what I'm calling him. It's a Harry Potter reference. Deal with it,) is interrogating people. And then eating their souls. Or something. It's weird, don't ask.
Dementor Pein sounds better than Naraku Pein.... (Seriously..? Naraku?) In any case, atleast you came up with soul eating. I thought that was their tongues... It's about time for one of these annoying kids to kick the bucket, and what better way to get rid of one of the annoying ones. I'd probably be a little more interested in the series if Konoharmaru dies. (Since Naruto won't die, why not get rid of the Naruto clone.) So much for wishful thinking though.

This chapter was a lot better than I thought. Maybe it's because Kira and Hisagi showed up, or maybe it's because we won't be seeing anymore material wasted on crappy fighters... (only want to see Toushiro's fight because I want to know what Halibel is capable of.) That was some punch though. I don't know how long I was staring at that one frame. I thought I was seeing things but turned out that her side was actually missing... Poor Matsumoto. Stupid question, although I doubt it. I assume Ukitake's no longer sick? I haven't seen this guy cough, sniff, sneeze or anything since the SS arc. If I recall, he was sick when fighting against Kaien.

I checked out the first 2 episodes of Gundam 00 on the Sci-Fi channel. Given the fact that I'm fairly new to the gundam universe (I've only seen G Gundam and a few episodes of Gundam Seed Destiny) I can say that I'm not really feeling this one. The whole
"holy war"
don't click well with me, or rather, I'm really tired of stories dealing with some type of
holy war
. The animation is decent but (nitpick-ish, sort of) I can't say I like the character models. Something about the way these characters look just make things feel "meh". I suppose I'll check out the next 2 episodes, but that's highly doubtful... (class starts that monday... And I'm night school.)

So I went over my brother-in-law's (soon to be) house yesterday and we pretty much spent the entire day playing the Xbox 360. Majority of the games we played I didn't care for, but had fun anyway. Guilty Gear 2: Overture - We spent most of our time trying to beat the CPU in exhibition, and then I went into the story mode to see if we can unlock some characters, which we haven't or can't... I don't know. Either way, I hate how everything's been completely changed from fighting to some knock off version of Dynasty Warriors. Gears of War 2 - Meh, I don't know why I have such a hard time getting use to the controls in this game. As far as I know it follows the same formula for other FPS on consoles. Left analog = move, Right analog = control camera, R= Trigger.. The camera was my biggest issue though. Tilt the right analog right I'm facing left and vice versa. Same with up and down.. That's hard for me. And while I find the stop and pop aspect interesting, I don't like it. I'm a gung-ho type person. I like to just run in with guns blazing and hope for the best. Nevertheless, it's an interesting game though. Soul Calibur 4 - "Sigh" (We all know how I feel about SC, lol) Ringouts... While I didn't have many ringouts, I hate the fact that it's there. [/nitpick] We were having fun, sort of, granted I forgot how to play the game. It's been so long since I've last seen a Soul Calibur game. (It felt like it.) Graphically speaking, it's really good. Fighting, it's okay I guess. I don't know how much has changed since SC2, but I do know that I am still tired of the fighting.. That might be due to me favoring DoA's (simple) fast pace as well as getting use to the 2D fighters now. He also had Infinite Undiscovery there, but I didn't get a chance to play it. Edit: Gonna go back to playing Okami now.
Yeah, yeah. If he really died, that was a really dumb way of doing it.
Agreed. And having Kakashi seeing his father just makes it even more unconvincing, but then again, I am comparing it to some of these movies where people who're on the brink of death had some type of conversation with a dead someone from their past, and then the next moment they're brought back to life. And with all these medical ninja's in the village.... Dying from chakra exhaustion..... Right...

Hola. I'm hoping some of you can make some avatars for me since I've been having quite a hard time trying resize and whatnot with microsoft paint. If you want to resize or provide a background for them, I don't mind. Default size avvies. If you have better pictures, by all means go for it. I don't mind if it's fanart, anime (for Dante) or from the game. (I tried to upload some Vergil pictures, but I think I've exceeded the limited lol.) Credit goes to Devil's Lair.org as well as Capcom for these pictures.

What was the most disgusting thing you've tasted?
Magus replied to Lunar's topic in General Discussion
Wow, some of y'all are off the wall, lol. Tires, Vick's Vapor Rub.... (A tire... really?) That's gonna stick with me for a long time. The nastiest thing I've ever had was Vick's 44 D... Taste a lot like Robitussin, but worst. (UGH...) Theraflu is another that's nasty. I detest anything that has the lemon flavor because of Theraflu. (Vicks 44D scarred me from the cherry flavor as well.) As far as food goes, I've gotten to the point to where I don't try anything new at all. I've never had chitlins (although, according to my mom, I used to eat it... I don't recall it though.) and probably will never eat it as long as it smells like that. Tomato juice is the worse juice I've ever had. It's messed up that all the food that's supposed to be good for you has the nastiest taste. The only way I can really eat onions and peppers (green, red.. etc) is if they're diced/minced... Any other way, I won't touch them. -
Just now getting 2 hours into Okami and I'm liking this game. Mainly the visuals. In some ways I do prefer to be playing as a human rather than playing as animals, but that don't take away much. (Just a preference thing) But yeah, this game is prettiful and has a peaceful feeling to it that's hard to describe. Maybe it's the music.. "shrugs". Same feeling I had when I first started playing Shenmue... While I haven't played the newest Zelda game, I do see some similarities to Zelda: OoT... Issun = Navi (but that's all I've see so far), and both are quite annoying. But having similarities to Zelda's not exactly a bad thing is it? I pretty much just got past the funny, yet pathetic, Susano and his training, heh.

No matter how much I ask for the stuff I really want, I get something completely different, so I pretty much stopped asking a long time ago. Christmas presents certainly has lost a lot of it's surprise factor, but I do still enjoy it from time to time. I'll play along anyway. -Xbox 360 -Playstation 3 (more reasonable/affordable gifts lol) -Money/Gift certificates -Clothes -dvds (movies, anime, cartoons)

This has been a sad week (couple weeks) for manga lately. I need to get into some new ones before Bleach and Naruto wear me out with crumminess. Anyway, at 1st I liked Soifon. She was the female version of Byakuya of the series, but then she turned stupid. Like Vega said, assassin's end things quickly. Not exactly the words he said, but you get the picture lol. (Need to take advice from Colonel Mustang. Strike quickly and end it quickly instead of relying of flashiness) I still want to see her bankai, though. Now we have Hinamori stepping into the picture. "Sigh". I'm sorry, even though spoilers for this week shows her obsession for "Captain" Aizen is somewhat nullified... (Captain..? idiot) But that exact same obsession is what made me can't stand her. Sorry, Hinamori fans, but I want her to die (I know that's not christian-like, but dag flammit, she pissed me off). I re-read the Yumichika vs Cool Horn fight. ("Rip with insanity", that has a nice ring to it for some reason) And while the fight itself was a little disappointing, I do take back what I said about Yumichika not being classified as an elite now that I sat down and thought about his zanpakuto's ability. That makes one wonder if that could be the deciding factor with the fight against Aizen. If he could find some way to not be under complete hypnosis. Then again... it's Aizen. _________________________________ I don't care what anyone else says.
You can't possibly tell me that Mila Rose's not a man. She has man boobs now.
In all seriousness though, even if I like Matsumoto's character, I'm really tired of this fight. I know it's probably been 2 chapters since this fight started, but it feels like it's been longer than that. I guess I'm just anxious to see what the top 4 espada's can do. We already know what Ulquiorra's capable of, sort of.
